WWE Bash In Berlin Predictions - Will Randy Orton Become 15 Time World Champion?

Intro hey guys welcome to wrestling days and welcome to this predictions video for bash in Berlin this is a big show certainly for the country of Germany because this is their first premium live event pay-per-view ever right from a WWE perspective uh it's coming from the Uber Bash In Berlin coming from the Uber Arena Arena obviously WWE have been going to Germany since the early mid90s and there was a brilliant video package that they put together and played the the day on Smackdown um I'm really looking forward to this the card is not the biggest there's not loads of uh twists and turns that I'm expecting what we'll do is we'll go through each match we'll talk about who we think is going to win why we think they're going to win and then we'll also talk about the potential surprises that could happen and if we're expecting them right this is very much a b show though this is not SummerSlam this is not WrestleMania This is not Royal Rumble but still a show that I think can provide plenty of entertainment and uh part of that entertainment of course is the official Babymetal & Electric Cowboy provide the Official theme theme which is rat which is baby metal and electric C boy who I said during the stream looked like wish's version teemu's version of death punk so um there we go and this might be like teemu's version of damage control so uh yeah bash in Berlin official theme song rat so uh there we go so let's get to Liv Morgan & Dominik Mysterio vs Damian Priest & Rhea Ripley our first match now the build for this has been really really good right really into this uh we've got Liv and Dom taking on Damen and Ria it does seem like a mismatch because to be honest if these were to fight and there be no outside interference um Damian is going to kill Dominic Ria is going to kill Liv uh these guys the terror twins they would win but we are expecting outside interference because of course Judgment Day have other members carito Finn Balor Finn Balor uh I think we'll set up a match with Damian at bad Bloods so it would make sense here that what we will get is we will get Judgment Day inter fear Him and Finn Balor especially and he will go after Daman that will set up Finn versus Damen at bad blood so I expect Liv and Dom to win thanks to outside interference curve balls obviously Judgment Day interfering is not really a curve ball but Jay Uso coming to Ria Ripley's Aid could be very interesting don't know that it happens but a lot of people want to see Jay and Ria get together right even if it's just a little quick little something because Ria's brokenhearted after Dominic obviously left her and so I think people would like to see her get a bit of Revenge on Dom by uh getting together with Jay someone that Dom seemed to be a little bit concerned about a little bit jealous of in the past plus also Jay is so over R is so over they could be a real power couple don't think them as a couple would have much longevity but you could get a few fun segments out of it even if they were kind of flirting even if it never actually turned into them being a couple but there was kind of a little bit of flirt in between them a lot of fun to be had there a lot of fun to be had there so some to keep an eye on but I do expect Liv and Dom to win and I expect Finn and Damian to set up their match for bad Bloods and maybe we get Liv Ria at bad blood as well I think bad blood is going to be the bigger show compared to bashing Berlin then we've CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre - Strap Match got this we've got CM Punk against Drew McIntyre and obviously this is a strap match should be really good not really expecting any outside interference here but of course Seth is a potential he's very much involved uh with these guys um and has been you know all year uh he's not involved here though I don't even know that he's flown over to bashing Berlin I would imagine he's just going to sit this out I would imagine he just wants to be with his family I can't imagine him jumping on a plane going all the way over to Germany certainly when at the moment I don't even know that he's cleared to wrestle so and I could see these two at bad Bloods I could see this match setting up a Hell in a Cell or something like that like at the moment it's one nil to Drew I expect Punk to win this to make it one1 and then we go to the third match at bad Bloods so I'm not expecting any outside interference here I am expecting CM Punk to win it is a strap match I think this will be better than their SummerSlam match I just hope we don't see the bracelet right the bracelet I'm so over it I mean that bracelet is being treated better than some of the Championships in WWE that bracelet means more than the women's tag titles right so it means more than the speed Championship so um yeah I just I don't need these two fighting over a bracelet but uh the strap match should be good it should be I think match wise better than their SummerSlam match and uh I expect CM Punk to get the win real outside long shot AJ Lee getting involved to help Punk we all want AJ Lee to get involved don't see it happening here give it a not. n 1% chance of happening um I really don't see it if AJ Lee is going to come back WWE I don't think it'll be at bashin Berlin but uh you know you never know with CM Punk matches you never know I do think she returns to WWE at some point but we might have to wait for the rumble or we might have to wait for Wrestlemania so but yeah punk gets the win talking of the women's tag titles uh Isla Dawn & Alba Fyre vs Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair here is Blair and Alba taking on Bianca and Jade I think this is the hardest match to predict there's only five matches but I think this is the hardest and the reason why is because you could go either way um I feel like the most logical thing is that Jade and Bianca get their belts back because I think Albert and Isa only won them because we were in Scotland so we wanted to give the Scottish fans something to cheer they've had a little run with the belts and now we can switch them back to Jade Bianca I think Jade versus Bianca is a match we could get at WrestleMania but we're still a long long way away from WrestleMania so I feel like these two are going to have to stay a team for the rest of this year going into early 2025 so do we put the titles back on to them I'm thinking we probably do and considering I can't see any other title changes on this card right I'm thinking this is uh the title change that we're going to get here so I I'm thinking new Champions there is a way though that these girls can keep those titles I don't think they'll keep them clean but of course they have been partnering up with Blair Davenport so Blair Davenport could make her presence felt but I think if we see Blair Davenport there's a real good chance we see Naomi equaling out the sides Naomi has been teaming with Bianca and Jade so yeah uh I'm going to say new champs but there is a chance that these guyss do keep the titles coming out of Berlin I think is the hardest match to predict then we're into Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens the final two matches the two championship matches and I've already given my spoiler really I don't see new champs I don't see a new champ here certainly this has got to be the easiest match to predict uh Cody ain't losing the title in Berlin right um he is going to keep going I think the reason why we're doing this is because that's a very good credible opponent someone that deserves this opportunity and because of Gunther and Gunther's connections with Germany uh this match doesn't need to carry the same weight as it might have in the past because this match you could argue is going to be the main event we don't know what closes the show but I'm I'm guessing it's Gunther uh so this match doesn't need to be you know anything special just needs to be a really good match so Cody versus Kevin Cody retains I think they'll tease uh heel turn I don't think it happens I think that they have teased it and we saw it on Friday but sometimes these things can be so obvious they can make these things seem like oh my God they're really going to happen and then when you actually get to the show it doesn't happen I think they've made it so obvious everyone's expecting the heel turn whereas I don't think we get it um they could do it and then we could get these two again at bad Bloods and uh then obviously it's a heal Kevin so they could do it but I'm going to go on record as saying I'm not expecting it I'm not expecting it if I have to guess which way it's going to go and it's nothing more than a guess I'm going to say that they shake hands and everything's fine afterwards and there is no eel turn that would then obviously lead the question to well what do we get at bad Bloods um and that's a really good question uh because AJ Styles is still sat on the sidelines and I think that uh he could come back for one more shot I know people would roll their eyes at that but to be honest AJ Kevin it doesn't really make a difference um Cody's not going to lose that bad Bloods so it doesn't really matter who could be shinsuke shinsuke could confront Cody it doesn't matter he's not going to lose so it doesn't really make any difference as to who he faces um I think a match with AJ again would be okay cuz I think they'd have a a banger and they keep having bangers so it's hard to be down on that um a rematch with Kevin would be okay uh I think this match is going to be really good I don't know what the appetite will be like for a rematch with Kevin after this match so I don't know Who will Cody Rhodes face at Bad Blood? um I am torn on the heel turn thing but I'm leaning towards he won't and then that obviously opens up the question well who does Cody face then and honestly could be AJ could be another rematch with Kevin if this is a bit of a screwy finish they could do the rematch uh it could be shinsuke who's just been sat on the sidelines pretty much throughout 2024 so lots of options on the table but nothing that exciting I certainly don't think it's going to be the Rock at bad Bloods uh and I certainly think Cody retains here uh then we've got our main event Gunther Gunther vs Randy Orton against Randy uh I'm going to say that Gunther retains um there is a thought that Randy could get the title because Randy as Champion he would then be 15 time a lot of people want to get him to 16 uh because then that means next year we can do 16 time champ versus 16 time champ um winner becomes 17 time champ something like that when he takes on Cena I'm sure he will face Cena next year um I just think though that Gunther has only just got this tit it would be a hell of a shock for him to lose it so quickly and you could definitely do it I think this one feels like that doesn't feel like it's changing hands this one feels like it could but again if we're going to look at probability I think the probability is that this is going to be a statement win for Gunther because Gunther got passed Randy before when he beat him at the King of the Ring finals now I think this is where he really puts his marker down and really beats him and so I think this legitimizes Gunther there is the stipulation though that if Randy wins he will come over to Raw so that he can be champ and Gunther would go over to SmackDown if that was to happen then we could do Gunther versus Cody with at bad Bloods uh or later on in the year because they would then be on the same brand which is very tempting very interesting and it does get Randy to the 15th World title so there is an argument uh here for Randy winning this but I just think Triple H sees something in Gunther sees a big long-term future uh champion and someone that he's invested a lot in already I think he sticks with the ring General but keep an eye on Randy he's the he's definitely a dark horse in that match that could be a real shock that could be a real surprise and then if we want to talk other shocks Could we start getting Alexa Bliss return teases? and surprises I mean we know that Charlotte's around but I just can't see where she returns I would imagine like Charlotte coming back that feels like it's probably more a raw or a Smackdown thing rather than it being at bashing Berlin um we know that there's always a chance for a legend to pop up like you know we've SE Cena doing it I don't think they would have the rock or stone cold or Undertaker so it's kind of hard to say who that Legend could be um you could have Triple H come out you could have Shawn Michaels come out um but yeah tricky tricky to know who that Legend I don't know if they could reach out to Kurt Angle maybe have Kurt Angle come out do a little surprise appearance that would be pretty cool so you know you've always got potential for those kinds of moments um but I I'm wondering about this right I'm wondering about this now I'm not saying she's going to be there but I do think we're getting closer and closer towards her return because I expected it to be at SummerSlam and it wasn't and it doesn't even feel like we've really started to tease anything yet you know there's nothing at the moment that feels like we're building towards her return but I feel like her return must be getting closer we know that she's been in the gym we know that she's been put in the working so we're getting closer feel very confident about that what if we get the first vignette to tease her return just a little something to start building up and teasing I'm not saying she's there but I am saying we could launch the campaign that leads to her return maybe at bad Bloods maybe at bad Bloods I do think bad blood is going to be the quite a big show I I got high hopes for bad blood I do think it's going to be uh bigger than bash in Berlin but as I said I think there's plenty here to get excited about I think there's plenty here for us to get our teeth into who knows maybe we even get a w six moment again not sure that I'm expecting it because we didn't get anything at SummerSlam and I was shocked by that I was shocked I really thought you could have had them at least make their presence felt in just a little segment even if we didn't get a match that's fine but I still felt that on that platform we could have got an appearance and we didn't so because we didn't get it there it's hard to expect it in Germany at bashen Berlin so can't say I'm massively expecting anything whyatt six but maybe we do start the build towards Alexa's return well there we go then guys those are my thoughts on bashing Berlin let me know your thoughts down in the comments below I'll also be getting your thoughts and predictions um on
