Waves Of Heavy Rain To Wash Over Atlantic Canada Into This Weekend | #forecast

heavy rain and Gusty winds is on the way across Atlantic Canada mainly targeting parts of the Maritime Provinces Halifax specifically potentially we could be looking at well over 50 millimet of rainfall this weekend now a quick look at the overall view Friday evening cloud cover starts to approach there is that rainfall starting to move in into your Friday overnight Saturday morning heavy amounts of rain is possible heavy rainfall rates as well potentially 7 to 10 millim of rainfall per hour this is going to be definitely a heavy downpour day especially into your Saturday morning by the overnight hours we'll start to see that rain push into parts of new land with a secondary system moving in now zooming in to the city of Halifax the yellows here that's indicating very heavy rainfall so around 3 to 7 millim per hour definitely going to be impacting Saturday morning so around 5 so potentially around 8 9 a.m. we'll continue to see that heavier rain we'll start to see a slow down a bit but there are Pockets where we could be looking at heavier uh rain moving through but overall we'll start to see it clear up but late Saturday evening for the city of Halifax now between Saturday 8:00 a.m. to Saturday 400 p.m. that is where you definitely want to be indoors because the rain is going to be very heavy like I mentioned potentially 5 to 10 millim per hour is expected with the very strong winds with the system gusting 50 to 70 km per hour now overall our forecast here bridgew potentially over 75 mm of rainfall for you any area in Orange here has a potent or yellow rather has the potential to see 50 to 75 millim of rainfall zooming in out we're looking at well over 20 to 30 mm or areas of the Avalon as we head into the later half of your weekend [Music]
