she's bringing out people who are not interested in voting for either Trump or Biden so the entire electoral pool is changed and if it continues in in this direction you have to start to consider Democrats winning the Senate and Democrats winning the house uh that of course is Frank Lun who's been doing polling and focus groups for the right for a very long time and he clearly wants the right to take seriously what is happening in the election with Harris not just moving up in the polls but as you'll see him describe it moving up in a way he's never seen before take a look she's got intensity now she's got an intensity Advantage she's got a demographic advantage and I haven't seen anything like this happen in 30 days in my lifetime how big is that Mar that marginal extra voter that she's bringing in I mean how much does that change the pool 1% maybe two that's it but that's enough but that's enough and we're sort of seeing that again these races tend to be close both on the national level and in the swing states and yet you have a movement of I I would see based on what I've seen larger than that but as he's going to describe in this final clip the problem for Trump is bigger than just the numbers it's what those numbers are coming from and some of the causes of his current political predicament might be very difficult to turn around take a look my process is not just to do the numbers it's also to do the focus groups to listen to understand why people feel this way and now my groups are broken up by young women saying I'm not voting for him anymore make no mistake there are three attributes three components you think it's a switch it's not because you just said I'm not voting for them anymore so you think they were voting for Donald Trump were and now they're voting for Harris the people who are undecided have all collapsed towards Harris the people who are weak Trump have all collapsed towards undecided it's his broad shift I'm trying to do a focus group tonight with undecided voters under the age of 27 for major news outlet and I can't recruit young women to this because they don't exist as undecided voters as undecided voters and I can't imagine what Trump will be able to do to get young women interested in him once again I don't even like saying that sentence because I'm worried about what it might be but this is a big issue for for Donald Trump he's laying out a couple of challenges for him Jordan what do you make of all that I mean you're seeing enthusiasm now for Harris that was previously thought Unthinkable for Democrats at large that's really exciting um it what I did see though was other polling other demographic polling earlier today that showed men are not moving so maybe not as surprising men are typically locked in with Trump we saw that in the past couple Cycles okay women people of color there are some men who are going to vote for Harris I'm sure this isn't negligible but you the enthusiasm now for Harris because these issues are critical to them abortion rights is something that many of them understand to be a direct threat on their bodily autonomy and then you see people like JD Vance calling for more calling for more restrictions Nationwide ban tracking women very weird behavior and then dismissing it when brought up in an interview last night saying oh I think women are going to focus on things that actually matter no that matters to them and that the Trump campaign can't recognize that could spell their Doom yeah it's weird to be like okay we're going to spend years uh advocating for taking away your and then we're going to take away your rights and then we're going to tell you you actually wanted us to take away your rights and think that these people are going to continue to support you I get why they might think that I mean after all they've been you know convincing conservatives to vote against their economic interests for literally decades but it seems like women uh specifically are a little bit harder to fool and uh you're right uh Trump is still leading with men in the most recent uh Pew poll I'm seeing he's up 4944 but the issue for him is he's down 4942 with women and they're more women than men and they tend to vote at higher rates and so if you had to choose one of the two groups I will say though people thought Harris would be losing men versus Joe Biden and that does not appear to be the case which is certainly good because that could have doomed her candidacy and we're not currently seeing [Music] that thanks for watching our video did you know that you can support our show by becoming a subscriber just click the Subscribe button and also ring the bell so that you get notifications when we're live or when we post new content
