A WEEK AGO THE JAGS PLAYED IN THE GLOBAL IRELAND FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT IN DUBLIN. FIRST HIGHGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEM FROM NEW ENGLAND EVER DO THIS. WINDHAM CERTAINLY MAKING THEIR SCHOOL KNOWN ON THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE. THEY LOST. 35 TO 23 TO A TEAM FROM TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA. BUT WHAT THEY EXPERIENCED IS SOMETHING THEY'LL TAKE WITH THEM FOREVER. IT WAS JUST SO SURREAL FOR US AND I THINK YOU KNOW, YOU LET A COUPLE MONTHS PASS BY AND THEN YOU CAN REALLY TREASURE THOSE MEMORIES. BUT REALLY IT WAS EVERYTHING WE COULD HAVE. ASKED FOR. IT SAYS THAT WINDHAM FOOTBALL, THE JAGUARS, CAN MAKE A REALLY BIG DIFFERENCE, AND WE CAN SPREAD FOOTBALL NOT JUST IN OUR COUNTRY, BUT ALSO IN OTHER COUNTRIES LIKE IRELAND. IT SHOWS HOW CLOSE A COMMUNITY CAN BOND. TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT AS A PUBLIC SCHOOL IS JUST SOMETHING CRAZY. AND WE'RE ONE OF THE SMALLEST SCHOOLS IN OUR DIVISION, SO IT'S JUST A REALLY AWESOME EXPERIENCE FOR US. THANKS TO HERE'S ANOTHER COOL STORY. AFTER A FIVE YEAR HIATUS, FOOTBALL IS RETURNING TO FARMINGTON IN DIVISION FOUR. THE PROGRAM DISSOLVED IN 2019 BECAUSE OF LOW NUMBERS, BUT THE SCHOOL WORKED HARD TO REDEVELOP ITS YOUTH FOOTBALL PROGRAM. FARMINGTON HAS A CO-OP WITH NEWT, AND THE TIGERS WILL HAVE 27 STUDENTS ON THE TEAM. THIS YEAR. I THINK IT'S VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE COMMUNITY THIS IS A BLUE COLLAR, HARD WORKINGNG TOWN AND THE KIDS REFLECT THAT. THEY'RE VERY UNSELFISH KIDS. THEY WORK HARD. YOU KNOW, WE'RE REALLY YOUNG ONLY NO SENIORS, ALL JUNIORS AND SOPHOMORES AND FRESHMEN. BUT WE LOOK GOOD, YOU KNOW, A LITTLE INEXPERIENCED. BUT COME GAME TIME, WE'LL DEFINITELY BE READY. SINCE FOOTBALL'S BEEN DOWN IN FARMINGTON FOR A PRETTY LONG TIME NOW, AND IT JUST FEELS GOOD TO HAVE IT BACK FOR THEM TO ENJOY FOOTBALL EVERY SATURDAY. ALL RIGHT, SO IT ALL BEGINS ONE WEEK FROM TONIGHT. AND THAT MEANS WE LOOK AHEAD TO OUR WEEK ONE FNF GAME OF THE WEEK. WE'LL BE LIVEVE FROM THE HOME OF THE GREEN WAVE. EXETER WILL BE AT DOVER. TWO PLAYOFF TEAMS FROM ONE YEAR AGO. WE WILL GET YOU SET FOR WEEK ONE NEXT FRIDAY. ALL RIGHT, BEFORE WE GO, LET'S TAKE ONE MORE TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE TO 2008.
