Hammer Broncos 5.5 win total, Caleb Williams best QB in Bears history, Jets roster l BREAKFAST BALL

Broncos have an over under of five and a half wins this season I know one guy who's hammering the over that's me that is absolutely me I sent a tweet last night in their final preseason game uh don't ever read Verbatim what I say on Twitter because I voed to tweet which means most of the time it's wrong what but they don't have a lot people say they don't have a lot of talent I'm telling you what they don't have a lot of name value Talent this is a talented roster that I think is going to be a lot better now I'm biased Greg you know that are some might say that's so I'll even admit that I am okay but I think everybody's sleeping on the Broncos what do you say the Broncos are going to stink all right there's no Talent on that team what do you mean no Talent there's no Talent you want to start naming wide receivers you can oh theyve courland Sutton and who else nobody their starting running back had a reconstructor uh re constructed knee uh which is still not back to speed from three years ago uh right I'm not sure about sea pyton anymore he's a Hall of Fame head coach but the craziness the last two years is driving me crazy and I'm looking at the de bronos going that overrun should be two and a half where are the wins coming from they are going to win I I don't know what they're going to win but they will win well over five and a half games bonick is Shawn Payton's version as a rookie of Drew Brees of Drew Brees and I am telling you right now he is so excited they can run the ball they're going to be physical up front this defense def is undervalued listen here's the deal I'm going to tell you a quick story my first game I ever played it first game I ever played it well you want me to find you the wins I don't know which wins they going to get yeah that's the there there it is I've got a better story so so here's the deal so here's the deal so my first game I ever played in I'm sitting on the bus scared to death going to play in the vet against the Philadelphia Eagles number one defense in football I'm a little 10th rounder from Idaho right uhuh and I'm sitting on that bus scared Doug Williams are starting quarterback walks down walks by me back up Taps me on the shoulder says the only difference between those guys Reggie White Clyde Simmons Mike pittz Jerome Brown Byron Evans the only difference between them and you is they got a chance to make a name for themselves and today is your chance I went out got a game ball got in a fight kicked somebody's ass it was awesome it was awesome and you just don't know the names it doesn't mean they're not talented Danny okay so I mean maybe Troy Franklin's going to go out there and get a game ball tro flank is not I I'm not concerned about Troy said I can go deep with you on Broncos receivers if you want care about their receivers I care about guys who play football offensive and defensive line flin I got G BS some people call him Flinch it's a passing league but I don't care about the receivers it's confusing but here's what I would say like listen I appreciate you admitting your bias we all have them the ones you that you can trust are the people that admit it so Craig with the Jets you with the Broncos with the Bears even though one of us will be right and it'll be me and that's fine but here's the thing about saying that the bronos are going to hit their over here is the entire list it took us a while to put this together the entire list of teams in the n NFL that Las Vegas expects to win fewer games than the Denver Broncos that's the list it's where the rest of the team it's one where the rest of the team and it might be the worst offense we've seen constructed in 10 years so saying that Denver is going to hit its over at 5 what is hanging out of Shawn's lip right there can I look at that no no we want to see that it's a it's a Morning Show what is that oh it's a whistle I'm sorry oh okay so so saying that they're going to be better than five and a half wins it's a pretty low bar to step by the way if you if you're going to celebrate a 6 and 11 season I will is that why he gets 18 million bucks a year to go six and 11 your guy he's building something he is building he's building Legos hey moving on moving on you guys like to play games right yes okay so I have a little game for you it's a game called tell me why I'm wrong where you guys make a definitive statement okay and then I tell you why you're a bunch of Knuckleheads and you're incorrect so Craig what do you got uh this is simple for me uh the New York Jets here comes the bias the best roster in all football and let's not forget with Aaron Rogers at quarterback historically over the course of his Hall of Fame career when his defense has led up 20 points or less he is 81 and 10 does that count the playoffs no it does not m m screwed him a couple times in playoff and if you go back just the last seven or eight years when again when they his defense gives up 20 points or less he's 35 and2 and it's not up for debate this will be the best defense Aaron Rogers has ever had as a quarterback in the NFL the New York Jets have the best defensive line the best linebackers the best uh secondary some of the best wide receivers and one of the top four running backs in the game so I would say this to you Mr shareth tell me why I'm wrong okay so let me deconstruct what you said you said the Jets have the best roster yes roster in the National Football League can you put up the San Francisco 49ers players please anybody go ahead uh Bosa would start for the jetso Samuel would start for the Jets mcaffrey would start for the Jets would start KD pie I mean even like come on use Che would start come like Fred Warner would probably start great player the Jets so how can they have the best roster when three4 of the players in San Francisco would beat out the guy in New York how about these guys I got a little little I mean my eyesight's gone I can't read it but it looks like really talented guys yeah Rogers Hall Garrett Wilson Mike Williams you know even defense look I think San Francisco is the best team in the NFC I think philak is going to give them a little run for their money for the number one seed this year but with Aaron Rogers healthy and on the field we can't overstate how good the jet defense is going to be I'm concerned of course like anyone else is about a kind of Patchwork offensive line but this is going to be a very good football team that wins a lot of games two years ago Rogers wasn't that great then he played four plays last year if you're getting MVP caliber Aaron Rogers they're excellent I'll take that if you're not they'll be bad uh stink one carton zero all right on to you Danny go ahead yes I've scored it all right well so now that you've talked about the Broncos and you've talked the Jets it feels appropriate that I talk about the Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams and you know I don't want to put too much hype and too much pressure on him but stink he is already the best quarterback in Bears franchise history and I'm aware listen I am aware that he has played zero NFL games are you I I am I am but first of all how glorious were some of those throws in the preseason and look at that stretching well I mean it's just you have to understand this is the only franchise with no 4,000 yard passer the only franchise with no 30 touchdown passer in order for my statement to be correct we just all have to say is he better than Eric Kramer is he better than is he better than Jay Cutler like so like honestly do you think Caleb Williams is better than Jay Cutler and if the answer is yes he's the best quarterback in franchise history well let me tell you why let me tell you why you're first off what's a lower bar like what's a lower bar the Broncos jumping over five and a half or Caleb Williams becoming the best quarterback in Chicago Bears history well I think you're both doesn't mean I'm wrong you're both doing you're both doing someone a great disservice today and that's not going to happen on my watch because the greatest quarterback in Chicago Bears history is my guy the late Sid lman oh look at thank you very much the greatest quarterback of in Bears history also looks like John balushi yeah he a real looker that guy could Sling It Danny I got to say I was thinking if you're going black and white and just to a still shot it doesn't count if we don't have b-roll and then they found so super era okay he the the best quarterback in Bears history in the Super Bowl you know what's crazy about that though real quick be and it's a fascinating stat Mark uh in that what Danny said if you take just a second out take all motion out of it the fact that the Chicago Bears do not have a 4,000 yd passer insane or 30 touchdown they're the only they're the only franchise with either of those yeah and they have it for both all right well let me just tell you why you're wrong right now um first he hasn't played a regular season game again I can't second the big plays were all off schedule I want to see him play on schedule and third until he usurps Jim McMan with a Super Bowl title he cannot no you've got to win championships that's the deal I would Dan end this one you don't have to win a Super Bowl championship to be considered a better Talent than a guy who didn't win it right right is Trent dford better than Caleb Williams uh yeah so far is Trent is Trent dver better than Dan Marino TR D is a friend of mine he is stink to you zero win Jim McMahon was like the 20th best player on the 85 Bears and listen I love Jim McMahon but it's just this is the first day of the rest of our lives as Bears fans okay this guy represents the hope for the entire fan base in the entire city because if he's what he should be we've never seen a number one pick go into a situation this good they were a seven- win team that got this level of talent and by the way that's the key to this unlike most first overall draft picks especially at quarterback right they're going to the worst team in the league that's rebuilding in probably every spot on the field they're they bere of talent because Carolina is so incompetent Chicago comes in you're right it's a seven- win team they've got talent around him now Caleb's GNA have his issues because most young quarterbacks outside of CJ Strat struggle at some point he's going to turn the ball over he's going to make bad decisions how he reacts to that will be key to it but I'm with you the Chicago Bears are going to be a very good team this year I think they're going to be better than expected what was that Craig is wrong and is wrong okay 20 me okay thank you guys okay
