5 BOLD Predictions For Week 1 Fantasy Football

Intro I'm Nick Wayan from Roa wire we got five bold fantasy predictions for week one of the NFL season number one Christian Christian Watson Watson of the Green Bay Packers he finds the end zone at least one time maybe even twice Friday night in sou Paulo against the Eagles 12 touchdowns in 23 career games for Christian Watson when that man is on the field that man scores touchdowns and keep in mind he's been banged up for a good chunk of those games Watson participated in every single day of practice in training camp for the Packers yeah he still needs to prove that that hamstring can actually hold up over the course of a season but there's more reason than ever to be optimistic about Christian Watson Green Bay yeah they do have a lot of miles to feed in that wide receiver core but Watson to me he's the skeleton key he brings what no one else on that roster can the size speed combination the Deep threat the Eagles for their part they're the worst fantasy defense in the NFL last season against wide receivers they allowed 30 touchdowns to the wide receiver position in 2023 that was the most in the NFL Christian Watson he's finding the End Zone on Friday night JSN another wide receiver we like Jackson Smith and jiga I think he puts up at least 20 fantasy points maybe pushes for 25 fantasy points something he did not do a single time in his rookie season last year you guys know I'm a big jsn guy in draft season I love the acquisition cost especially early on love the new coaching staff in Seattle I think this is the year he really overtakes Tyler Lockett in a big way I'm just really high on this Seattle offense overall I like this spot for Ken Walker in week one going up against the shaky defense that allowed a ton of big plays last season you know we'll say Jackson Smith and jiga he gives us something like six catches 105 yards and a touchdown that easily puts him over 20 fantasy points in PPR I think this is also a good spot for DK meta and look if we're talking bold predictions here could Gino Smith could he be a top five quarterback this week I'm just saying I'm not ruling it out if you're enjoying this video please give us a like please bears in the noon window on Sunday that ends up being the unexpected game of the week you we got a lot of Big Time matchups especially in prime time in week one not a ton of people really circling Titans Bears it's been a very very long time since anyone should be reasonably excited about a Titans Bears game these two teams they're teams that feel like they almost never play each other and honestly that is the case it's only the fifth time that they've met in the last 15 years but who cares we're throwing that out it's the start of a new era in Chicago Caleb Williams makes his debut starting at home place is going to be rocking on the be side of things I'll say romad dun he doesn't not get off to a jsn like start last season he catches a touchdown from Caleb Williams in his debut and the Titans who knows man uh you we thought this might be a rebuild going into the offseason then they go out they spend a bunch of money they bring in all these veterans they're certainly not operating as a team that thinks it's going to win five or six games this year you know really strange week one matchup again I think we get points here I think we get turnovers I think we get big plays on the Titan side of things for Fantasy good luck sorting through this backfield you know is it Tai Spears is it Tony Pard will it be a true 50-50 split like they're telling us I'm going to go out in a limb and say this is the Taj Spears Breakout game in week one he goes for over 100 yards from scrimmage Bears defense was pretty good against the run last season sixth in Rush defense EPA by the end of the regular season but but they allowed a ton of big plays to running backs out of the back field gave up over a thousand receiving yards to running backs last season no other team in the NFL even got to 800 they allowed almost eight yards per Target to the running back position again I think this is a fun back and forth matchup I think we get points it's the Taj Spears game for Tennessee throwing Tony Pard fantasy owners on tilt all right next up Jaguars 70 Point Game Dolphins I think we get at least 70 points in this one on Sunday afternoon that's the Bold prediction there's a reason the total for this game is hanging around 50 I don't think it's high enough that the Dolphins have a reputation as a fast starting team and for good reason Mike McDaniel's gotten off to three and0 start straight up in each of the last two seasons they had that crazy back and forth game week one against the Chargers last year I think we could see something very similar down in Miami on Sunday afternoon the Jags defense you know wasn't as bad as you might think last season did kind of fall apart toward the end but outside of Tyson Campbell this is a pretty shaky secondary and maybe even shakier linebacking core dolphins do have some injuries along the offensive line that is a concern but I think they overcome that I think they'll have no trouble moving up and down the field and Jacksonville and their offense they have the weapons they got the big play threats now to keep up with this Miami team I think we can see a repeat of that week one game last year between between the Dolphins and the Chargers overall I think we see more low-scoring games this week much like week one last year this is not going to be one of them guys I have the Dolphins winning this game I have them covering the spread this could be you know 38 33 41 37 type of game down in Miami all right number five Kupp is BACK Cooper cup makes a statement on Sunday Night Football he reasserts himself as the clear wide receiver one for the LA Rams and look maybe this is a little bit of wish casting because I I have so many Cooper Cup sharers in fantasy this season but when Cooper cup is y he is still that dude he's had a great off season the Rams are going to be ready to roll it's a rematch from last year's Wild Card loss a game that the Rams probably rightfully feel like they should have won in Detroit look I have a lot of questions about the Rams offensive line obviously replacing Aaron Donald is a a nearly impossible task but if anything that leads me to believe that we're going to have a shootout on our hands in Detroit and we we know for sure the lions are going to score that offense is a well-oiled machine I think the Rams are going to have to be aggressive I think the Rams are going to have to throw the ball a ton to keep up with that Detroit offense I love the spot for Cooper Cup against a lions defense that ranked 30th in the NFL last season in fantasy points allowed to the wide receiver position I think it's 100 plus yard night for Cooper cup
