Cowboys offense will take the first swing of the game and they're LED out there by a man who will carry the ball plenty in this one guys well it's real simple he's the best player on their team they have got to for Speed this guy the football game no doubt about it the offense goes through him excited to see how they built this offense and how many different ways they can get him touches tring play action grabbed in the back field it's Gordon he's brought down but he went backwards after that completion not the way they had it drawn up third down and they'll need five to keep this opening drive moving from the gun wants to pass dances away to BU time and he scoots his way to the first down and then slides to avoid the hit and the Cowboys come to the line with a new set of downs nice job nice way to end that play for the QB he does a really good job scrambling getting the first down and getting down because defensively I'm trying to get a lick anytime I can hit the quarterback that is a win after the misfire it's second and 10 unloads to the white out working the middle they'll get the first down it's spotted on the 49 the Cowboys are marching down the field from the gun the running back has it some really tough running there gets him fly get set first down from the shotgun the inside K not much there they'll give him one to the 14 didn't get much on first down it's second and nine power football with the Run that's a nice pi up to give them some looking for a productive play on first down on the run it's green and he'll pick up one it brings up second and nine going to work in the Red Zone they can't pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone he wants to throw here on second down b a little time lets it Go makes his connection and he'll step out of bounds just short of the goal line almost a touchdown but not in there yet as they get set to snap it just about to reach the end of the quarter on Third and short trying to impose their will and move the chains and they pick up the first down and what might be the last play here in the first quarter guys that's the end of the quar and Oklahoma state has the lead here we've put one in the books Let's have a look at our game [Music] summary starting off this quarter close enough to smell the goal line a strong tackle and wrap up from the junior see if they can get it done on second and goal he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and here comes the punt team that first punt was a beauty did take another one just like it looking for a block it's Presley turns like pressure coming got him downfield and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that one and the Cowboys have it in scoring position on first and goal he works his way all the way down to the three and the defense is reeling we'll see if the offense can punch it in on second and goal motion trying to get the defense to show his hand he's knocked down in the back field he'll [Applause] they're down to the 20 first and 10 they're threatening to score and they'll throw it and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball after misfiring it's second down they want to just keep throwing it out of the back field he's open that completion takes them down to the seven yd line and they are ready to strike this offense has put on a display in the first half and they have a chance to attack another and it's picked off at the goal line and he's they bring the punter onto the field now kick running it back it's Presley he's brought down but a really solid effort to pick up every bit of yardage he could on the punt return Oklahoma state has back in the offense is on the field comes out throwing on first down into to the house so with only seconds left in the half here comes the field goal it's a fake they fake it the kicker looking to pass they'll knock him down and that'll take us to halftime they're facing a third down they'll try to power their way ahead the Cowboys have enough for the first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs off play action on first down can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again quarterback extends the play he's going to run it finds a crease at the 20 finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down and the Cowboys come to the line with a fresh set of downs moving away from pressure he'll throw it makes the catch it's Gordon touchdown Cowboys and they add six more first down here with time for maybe one more play until the two-minute warning free snap motion quarterback trying to get a read oh he's looking to throw we reached the two-minute warning and this offense is that much closer to salting away a victory tip ball put it up for grabs and I thought he had it but somehow it slithered through his [Applause] fingers just a one yd gain leav him with third and nine and I'm a fan of this man run the football the clock we got the lead this offense has put together a nice day man like just balance Rhythm timing play calling everything has worked that's why they built this lead they've had a great day today and and he's knocked down but there's also laundry on the field we'll see what the officials have called we'll repeat but this time the offense has 10 more yards it has to cover you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 got his man in the middle there to make the tackle but the big throw is good enough to give them a first down yeah and Palmer I don't know what his grade's going to be but hitting over 400 yards on the day I I think coaches are going to be pretty impressed with the day this young man had no doubt I think for def looking to take a shot and that'll be incomplete they tried to hit him with a big one on first down after the misfire it's second down and he's down the 41 that's a first down well this offense has just been dialing up explosive play after explosive play that's a big part of why they have a huge lead at this point even in the fourth quarter with that lead they are still taking shots they are still being aggressive pedal to the metal back to work on second and 10 from the 41 after that last incompletion they'll try to keep this clock moving on the ground that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there quarterback reacting to what the D is showing movement here from the tight [Applause] end third and long and he'll try to throw for it he'll off one deep down the left side and it's picked off trying to take it back he's at the 40 running inside the 20 touchdown Liberty they're lining up to kick it off after the pick six and that defense will come out feeling it here's the return from inside is 10 and they'll haul down the returner to start us on the next Drive Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on offense baring complete catastrophe David this offense ought to be able to Sal away this game yeah and unless you're playing in a different League this one's over like there is no three-point conversions and stuff like that that you can get so run the ball make them use timeouts Palmer walk out here with a B yeah this defense should just use their timeouts can't take them with you right we'll just see who knows crazier things have happened in college football maybe they put the ball on the ground they don't execute the center quarterback exchange time out called by the offense 23 seconds remaining in the game nyd pickup on first first down and now they can take a shot on second and [Applause] short he's looking to throw he lobs one high down the left side and he's got it inside the 30 yd line touchdown Oklahoma [Applause] state after this it'll be a wrap timeout is called with just two seconds left to go third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a dooy if they can pull it off dropping back it's Salter he's taking a deep shot late in the game oh floated high and it's intercepted and he takes the interception return out of bounds and that's how we'll wrap it up after the stumble earlier this year a lot of people wrote this team off people might be searching for spots on the bandwagon again now yeah give this coaching staff a lot of credit too Reese because they made a few tweaks and adjustments schematically to their personnel as well and they've really now seemed to find a nice Rhythm and it's hard to find that early in the season but the good teams figure out who they are what they do well and you can tell they're starting to get in the groove figure
