evening Dr Morris injury experts let's talk about Josh Allen and this new leftand injury that he popped up with tonight he had a fantastic game looked like Superman counted for four touchdowns probably going to be the top quarterback on the week for Fantasy or at least the top three but he did suffer an injury that bears monitoring now if if you watch this play right here you can see he's holding the ball and he kind of does this where he holds his left El his right elbow with his left hand and then lands really hard on it trying to secure the ball they taped it up on the sidelines he kind of looked like he was grimacing a little bit and then eventually he went uh back into the game and it's like nothing ever happened but the adrenaline and the swelling probably hadn't kicked in yet and then and and the pain not yet either now what could this possibly be best case scenario this is a sprain and a bruise but there are several metacarpal bones in there that you can technically fracture now the good news is that this is his nonthrowing hand but as a runner he traditionally has a tendency to switch hands obviously he's not going to throw with his left hand but a lot of the times they will brace for it with that uh left hand holding it on the while he's throwing with the right the other thing that we have to take into consideration is that the bills happen to have a rough uh scheduling for this week they have a game in 4 days so he doesn't really have a whole lot of time to rehab they get x-rays tonight whether or not there's a fracture tomorrow maybe they get an MRI but even then what are they going to do is there a whole lot are they going to play them with a brace uh do they do they just wrap them up with a glove do they uh you know Ellen is the type of guy that's going to want to play through anything this a huge matchup against Miami down here in Miami and realistically this could be a big deal uh my suspicion is it won't be it's a bruise uh he's going to play through it like he played through his elbow injury last year the only game that I can remember that he's missed was in his uh rookie season when he sprained the UCL in his throwing elbow besides that the dude plays through everything uh and and and has been able to be elite so something to Bear uh out we should hear more information about this tomorrow I'm not ready to freak out I'm still expecting him to play on Thursday but he may be a little bit Limited in the process unless he has a crazy fracture in that hand of which he might have to undergo surgery depending on uh what the timing of it is and the severity of it so we'll see how this plays out if you like this type of content do me a favor smash a thumbs up subscribe and check out the injury experts.com tons of information uh especially if you sign up for a free account take care
