morning Robin a very warm welcome to the weather day it is a very mild day in many areas of South Africa today as a result of the cold front that we saw passing through the Eastern provinces of South Africa yesterday in as such behind the cold front there is a reaching high pressure system bringing moisture and cool weather conditions over the Eastern parts of the country there is also a slight chance of rainfall and some f PES over the Eastern highl areas of the country and there is also snowfall snow on the ground in the highl areas of w natal but there's no more snowfalls expected for today and the snow on the ground will be melting away as the day progresses so please do send us those morning pictures especially over the Eastern High Ling areas of wul natal for today and here in the Kang Province we are expecting mostly clear weather conditions for the day but there is a slight chance of rainfall further south into in the province and for the morning as well some f PES in highl areas of natal the Eastern Cape and towards the central Karu of the Western Cape but clear weather conditions can be expected over the Western half of the country with P Cloud skies and rain weather conditions expected in the eastern half especially along the coastal areas of w natal with a 60% probability of rainfall otherwise isolated in eastern Pang and liopo into the Eastern free state and the eastern half of the Eastern Cape Province for today there is also a warning of very strong southeasterly over Cape Town and surrounding areas for today and this will make it very difficult navigating offshore the coastal areas of the Western Cape and very dusty and end conditions can be expected over the western parts of South Africa today it will also maybe result in runaway fires in the cape metrop pole and surrounding areas and further north in the northern cape and the Northwest we are warning for conditions favorable for the development and spread of runaway Fires for today so please be on the lookout and avoid unnecessary F and temperatures are starting below freezing for this morning in many areas in the northern Cape including over souland at a minimum of minus 4 for this morning cold the conditions all over the central interior in Kimberly we expecting a minimum of 2° for this morning three in blue and Bethlehem will also drop to a minimum of of similar temperature at 3° otherwise mostly mild conditions as well for Bella at 11° and 7° over lady Smith in the Midlands of guul natal only warm weather conditions can be expected in the low field of liopo with a minimum of 16 for musina and 17° of palaban for this afternoon it will be cloudy and mostly mild over the Eastern provinces Johannesburg will pick at a mile 20° cold other conditions for ML 14 mild temperatures throughout gu Nal including along the coast and the Midlands a temperature of 17 in pburg and 20 over the city of Integrity mostly mild weather conditions throughout the interior of the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape a high of only 20° for Cape Town but warm weather conditions can now be expected over upington in the northern interior of the northern Cape picking at a maximum of 30° and that is all from the weather desk [Music]
