Ranking EVERY Bundesliga kit! 🇩🇪

Intro. the Bundesliga is officially kicked tough so we've seen all the kids in action now so it's time to rank every single home [Music] sh fancy another one do you want another one yeah man they just keep coming these kit videos are coming thick and fast I'm just enjoying making them so much you know the new season all these new kits there so much to talk about I'm having a blast doing so like I said we're now on to the Bundesliga we're doing every single home sh we're keeping the tier this simple we're going s a b c and d keeping it nice and simple let's jump straight into it and we start with Augsburg who are with misso and they've FC Augsburg. got a Renaissance inspired kit across the whole kit there's a Renaissance inspired pattern including references to the pine cone on the badge and Co arms of Augsburg it's a wicked bit of inspo the pattern looks really nice on the base but I just think the sponsor and the Pinstripes let it down a little bit you know like the the weird little kind of pin Strokes that stop in the middle the sponsor as well being like really lime green really kind of distract you if that was red it might like I don't know be HED in a little bit but the fact that it's long Grom on the front does just kind of be in your face there's a lovely font on the back as well like a Renaissance font it is doing so much right but the things that it's done wrong is quite jarring for me so for me I put this one in B over to the reigning champions leusen of Bayer Leverkusen. course defending their Bundesliga title after being Invincible last season crazy crazy feet last season actually had a predominantly black kit with a red stripe on the front and they've gone back to bit more of an original color schin with the red being the main color on the base this time but the defining feature is that there's loads of City references in the base including the diamonds of the water tower a cross made up of the points of the city's coat of arms and a map of lusen as well in there so it's almost like a mad collage of everything that is lusen put onto the base of this kit which could have been quite a lot but the fact that they've done it really subtly just like a red on red in the Basse I'm a big fan of this I think I'll throw it an a tier by mun pick up next and last season they were Bayern Munich. predominantly white with red accents now this time around they're mostly red with darker red accents there's actually three different shades of red to represent The Trebles one in their history which is which is cool like using three shades of red to do that but I don't know there's something about this kit that isn't quite there it looks like very commanding very like Empire from Star Wars to be honest and we'll remember this as the last day of the Republic but I don't know there's something cool about it there's something quite striking about it but it's not it's not amazing I'll throw it in B tier or a tier I'll throw it in I'll throw it in a it's all right what I can always do as well at the end is just rejig it if something doesn't feel quite right I'll review it right at the end wel up next VfL Bochum. we're also with Muno their kit is nice and Sleek but on the base there's a nice embus design that features the fans in the stands Bars by the way that was you know just and this looks really cool actually I quite like this it's it's subtle again it's there it's nice on the base it's very clean design fans are in there bet their buzzing with that I'll throw this in a tier as well over to Dortmund now Borussia Dortmund. and this might be the biggest shame in football kit history that is not an over exaggeration this is such a letdown their new kit is apparently inspired by the 1996 97 European kit which was probably one of dortmund's best ever kits in my opinion it's wonderful but inspired by that they've made this and this is ass thin pin stripes instead of the thick ones really yellow Bas instead of the neon it's just a huge Miss I think if you're going to be influenced by that kit you've got to make it good and you've got to make it pretty much similar to that kit because that kit is their best it is so tacky B tier straight away Frankfurt up next and now Eintracht Frankfurt. they've gone for a modernization of a retro design so in the late '90s they had this triangular pattern at the top of the kits which had stars in now this new kit are homage that as like a block triangle at the top and a Star graphic at the bottom and it's just a bit underwhelming isn't it it just looks a little bit naff and cheap and I don't understand like that star pattern with the triangles like yes it's very out there it could be almost too out there but that just do that it would have been cooler it would have been way cooler you've got a straight up influence there I just don't get it I don't get what these clubs doing like taking influences from the past but then like ruining them basically just ruining it you're R look at my lips you're ruining it yeah I'm just not a fan again DTI before I broke up next and this is SC Freiburg. just just a standard night template but on the base there is some v-shaped pattern and that's actually influenced by their home ground and this is just like a nice subtle ND isn't it like nothing too crazy it's nice it's clean the templates okay I can't hate on it too much but it's it's pretty me I'll put it in bti middle of the road Iden up 1. FC Heidenheim. next and they've got like a pretty standard kit the blue and the red stripes like they normally do but the stripes kind of pixelate to reveal the sponsor it's kind of cool I can't really put my finger on this one I don't know if I fully like it or not like normally pixelated stuff and gradients and stuff doesn't really land for me most of the time but there's something about this that's like does kind of work I think it's the bold colors but I don't know why have gone for pixels I don't know if there's a reason if there is please do let me know if you know but I couldn't find it out so like that does just like lose points almost yeah this isn't amazing this isn't incredible but I don't actually hate it so I'll put it in bti huffing home next and again another TSG 18999 Hoffenheim. simple kit here pin stes to the bottom that kind of fade out towards the top that's all I got to say eh it's like Well Done pin stripes but they fade I don't like the fade n I'll put it in C Holstein K up next I think I've said Holstein Kiel. that right could not have but anyway it's their first time in the Bundesliga for a long no it's actually their first ever time in Bundesliga there you go and I think they've come with a pretty strong kit this kit is inspired by the wind and the waves representing kill's home region in the north of Germany on the coast so on the Bas it's like a windy pattern and the color all blue on the Bas and and yeah I think it's actually quite nice there's something about this this looks looks decent I I think um the wind and the coastal kind of vibe is really there shines through it's strong it's got some powerful colors I don't hate this kit I don't think I love it o where should I put it I feel like it belongs between a and b and so I'm just going to throw it in the middle because it it's not quite a and it's not quite B but again I could review this at the end so just stick around M up next Mainz. and of course they've got their traditional white and red checkered pattern but this one the pattern is just random all over the base and of course they have that like traditional Ms pattern in the base as well which they've for the last like five seasons now and yeah overall it it it works doesn't it it's a bit sporadic it's a bit random but like you know there's only so much you can do with Checkers so yeah I think it's again okay I'll put this one B tier Munch and glad back now Borussia Mönchengladbach. and again another retro inspired kit here there's just so many across all of the leagues I keep saying that word over and over again retro inspired it's it's cool I like it as a lover of retro shirts but maybe getting too saturated now but anyway that doesn't take away away from this kit this kit is actually quite nice this is a modern on the title winning kit of 1974-75 season so an anniversary so there's a green middle stripe and there's a black outside stripe and I quite like that design and actually inside those green stripes there's some nice triangular patterns and I'm just guessing it cuz there's no information again if you know let me know but I think this could either be one of two things it could be the stadium but it also could be the Europa League they won the Europa League That season the UEFA cup is this nice triangular kind of patterned trophy so yeah I like the way this kit looks it's got historical ties if if that meaning I've just put to it is is real that's really cool I'll throw this an ATL RB lies up next and there's RB Leipzig. no more Nike for them it feels really weird not seeing a lies kit with Nike they've got Puma now and that just doesn't make sense to me but anyway this kit is still pretty nice it's still very lipick as well actually it kind of sticks to their tradition I feel like they always like modern kits they're like kind of like flashy line Graphics there loads of like lines and geometric shapes and stuff that's what they've gone with here but this one's actually inspired by the architecture of the University of leig so like the the facade of that is very much lined and and thicker and finish stries almost like Tottenham Stadium a little bit so yeah I don't I don't hate this I don't love this I think sometimes designs like this do fall a bit flat it's okay it's got a cold meaning behind it I'll throw it in see one thing to note as well this is one of the only leagues that has like mostly pummer kits which is actually mad because you know sometimes you think is pummer as a smaller brand but to have most of the bundes league kit it's actually quite big and speaking of Puma St. Pauli. we'll move straight ahead to St Paulie who has a pummer nice here this is a tribute to the home shirt of the 9192 season so it's got like a nice Square design on the base but that instead of having white accents it's like brown on Brown for this one and I reckon Brown is such a hard color to work with like it must be so difficult it could just obviously look like most of the time literally but this one just really works I think it's like a really nice chocolate brown you know what I mean like a nice muted Brown it really works here really sponsor really reallyit sponsor like if it had a better sponsor this I don't know where this could have gone but I'll put it in ATS still stuck VfB Stuttgart. Gart next and come on let's say it again retro inspired kit it's happening again this one's pretty nice though it's classic it's inspired by the 1984 kit they won in 1984 the league so they've kind of gone for it for that reason the color very specifically is kind of the reference here and the you know the thin stripe across the base yeah again it's like yes it's nice it's retro inspired that makes it good but it's just nothing special is it I'll throw it in C TI I think no I meant B sorry I meant B I'm like probably looking on my shoulder here onion Bellin up next and now this Union Berlin. is sick I know I'm wearing a hurter shirt so this is going to Rattle some hter fans but this onion Bellin shirt is beautiful it's that classic Adidas template that we've seen all season for a lot of clubs with a red bass and white accents and that Bas actually features an embossed fabric which includes the Berlin bear the symbol of Berlin which is class and I love it but to make it even cooler the sponsor isn't actually a sponsor it's just a nice graphic of Berlin where the iconic TV tower of Berlin is the eye yeah come on yes yes yes all the tick great template decent colors Berlin references you cannot go wrong this is clearly s verman up X the Werder Bremen. only homel shirt in Bundesliga and of course they smashed it this is brilliant they've got that homel based pattern that they're using in templates this season but on the main feature of this kit is that they have stripes that go into Checkers at the top of the kit which is quite unique you don't really see that anyway but that's actually inspired by the flag of brayman yes please man come on that's is so good so so good and the centralized badges come on now this is just so so good I love this kit it's got the flag meaning behind it the green on green the shiny pattern everything about it it's just a big fat yes s TI F like I swore a lot then just got excited and we end Wolfsburg. in wolfb with Nike this kit is pretty standard green on green the darker green kind of pulling out the accents and there's like a Spike as well in the stripe not bad not amazing it's decent I can't fault it I'll put it middle of the road C tier keep doing that it's B tier and honestly I know I said I was going Results. to review it but I'm looking at its tier list and I'm pretty happy with it those are clearly the only two s tiers they're really good kits but it's not actually that strong this season in the bundes Lea I obviously haven't looked at the away in third shirts let me know if you want to see that again thank you for the Love on the channel it means the well to me this channel has been wonderful the last couple months just working on it so I'm really really happy and proud with it I'm happy that you guys enjoying it uh let me know what other leagues you want to see I'm looking forward to all the content coming out I'm thinking I might do a fix kits video very very soon so make sure you subscribe to see that but until next time have a sign off see in a bit [Music]
