Hotline LIVE - Rangers takeover bid, Celtic chase £5M Auston Trusty and Ibrahim Adel Rangers link

[Music] hello and welcome to record Sports hotline live my name is Daniel Co and I'm delighted to be joined this evening by record Sports Scott mcdermut and Fraser roson guys how are you good Daniel very well Daniel good afternoon how you doing it's lovely to see you both FR it's your first appearance since the Euros it's to have you back nobody's me know that mate here by the way Jesus room after the Euro SC Steve Clark presser ah well look you obviously you've touched on it there we will talk about the latest Scotland Squad both of you guys were at uh Steve Clark's press conference today we will get on to that there's been a reaction on record Sports social media channels but before we go any further Scott I need to start on this story that has broken the last couple of hours that a us-based firm is reportedly interested in ping Rangers for 150 million pounds it seems a bit far-fetched but it's came from City am who are a business and finance Outlet that's where the stories originated um so um I don't even know where to start with it this may shock people watching but none of us are actually Financial experts um but I mean do you think that's what Rangers need well I think more importantly is it what the Rangers board think that Rangers need I mean that is the big question though I mean that is the we kind of joking about it before we come on air but you hear these stories and you take them a pinch assault know thought of these American investors coming into coming into any Scottish club really as I say it's a case you know you can of believe it when you when you see it however there is a I suppose there is a serious point and that is if you read that report that's come out for City know it does say that there are certain shareholders now warant to sell the sell their shares and I think Dave King I think we can accept that Dave King was previously W to let his shares go I think he's around 12 133% but the big is probably Douglas Park know previous chairman obviously know huge Rangers supporter no it's suggesting that he might be wanting to sell his shares as well not to give these investors something like TW around 25% of the club so the interesting thing for me about that is if if we are to take this seriously is that from the outside I think we've all agreed on here at different times that Celtic are trailing Rangers are trailing Celtic on and off the park at the moment we spoke about finances this week we know how much money Celtic have got theyve just banked another 25 30 million for M oy they could have 40 50 million coming to them through the champions league on the pitch it seems they know they're far ahead of Rangers in terms of recruitment performance tropies obviously so the big question for me is know within I Brooks within that boardroom are they now looking at at different things are they looking at potential investment from afar and do they see that as potentially being the only way or one of the only ways that they might try and get back on and even and even kill the Cel and try and try and catch them up that is the of serious s listen if that is the case then of course um know you need to look at it you need to look at it seriously but as I said at the start I'm always skeptical when I see these stories um as I say authority of Americans coming into Rangers who are they what are their motives um what are their plans do they have any affiliation to the club no I think these are all questions that need to be that need to be answered before anything like that can happen but it's listen it's interesting Fraser Scott isn't the only one who's skeptical some of the comments that have been sent in on record Sports social media channels Michael mcab just seen mbapp at Glasgow Airport m Miller can we finally get the floating pitching casino now um Drew heaps has a serious point though he says it's plain and simple the financial gap between the clubs is massive we won't be genuine Challengers on the field until there's proper investment into the club I mean if these if these investors are valuing Rangers 150 million that means mbapp himself is worth more than the entire Rangers football is that's a good point it's a that's actually mad when you put it that way it's a mad world we live in but Fraser that is what Rangers need probably they need some sort of injection is that fair they need investment for somewhere but Scott says I mean I'm I'm the same as Scot espe I don't know when it comes from forn Fields I'm always a bit skeptical when I hear a guys wanting to pump in money and so much money in the scotch Club I mean do do they have any link to them or what as Scott said what really are the plans here if it is true I mean there needs to be some serious J Ence done here before before Rangers even even look at the offer um so there's no doubt there's no doubt Rangers are miles behind Celtic when it comes to um cashing the bank they need something serious there's been plenty in fact it seems to be more and more American Investment coming into Scottish Football just saw mother well tur the whale Society turning their back on a proposal for across the water last month hibs hibs of uh in the BN mouth owner obviously Bill Foley in a 25% stake and he's not been shy and trying to put his foot down and tell hibs how it should be done so there's no doubt when guys are coming in that kind of clout that kind of money if again if it is true they'll want to have some say some serious say in the running the club so that's why you need to be really careful to see what really what the what the thoughts and their plans and their their ideas are and what they really want for this I I think the only thing we can say at this point is watch the space we'll see if anything comes of it um across the city uh as far as Celtic are concerned it's finances that are on the agenda as well Scott but in a very different sense um their transfer spludge goes on H the reports today that a 9 million pound bid for Anie Eng Les has been submitted after a 6 and a half million pound bid was rejected um A5 million pound bid for Austin trusty the Sheffield United Center back/ back um well in fact I'll take you straight away to some of the comments um Thomas Rooney it's Tuesday see if this board don't have names in the door by Friday I I'll be down parkhead making my voice known h m MCG says Augsburg obviously know we've received 25 million for oil so they know we've got money to spend hence why they're wanting more for Engles call ma says something similar aurs are probably thinking we can get 25 blah blah blah H they'll be thinking they're undervaluing him um and just finally David Harrison what's the board's incentive to spend money they don't need to win the league and a couple of big money signings aren't going to make them any better in Europe so what's the point e whichever side of the argument you fall on there Scott it's a massive week for the Celtic board they simply cannot get to Saturday morning having not spent I mean the the guts of that M money I know it's fascinating is it because this is what Brandon Rogers spoke about the other day and last week it's like when you start getting up to the figures like know 8 nine 10 million for Engles that's quite unusual for the old fir we're not used to that know them going to spending that kind of money but that's exactly what Rogers was talking about he's fed up with a club going and buying players for two two and a half three million and they're not up to the level he no they're not up to a level where he thinks they can progress in the Champions League his argument is you need to spend above that know if it is say 9 million for angles because he will make you far more he'll make an a more immediate impact help the club progress in Europe as well as obviously winning domestically but more importantly he'll get even more money further down the line when he comes in a Celtic and and excels so there's just this kind of it feels like there's this battle know this battle of w between Rogers and the board is to just how far how far they'll go um but so listen the punters are always going to agree with the agree with the manager no want to Splash the Cash and Go the extra mile especially when the manager has clearly identified some of these boys are talking about particularly angles I mean everything you're reading and everything that you're hearing this is no really a guy that Rogers wants in terms of his age and his profile and stuff so how much are they going to push the boat out to get this guy but the are right hburg know that no big money's come in for we know they want to keep them they valume certainly higher than than that initial six and a half million bid so there's going to be a bit of haggling G but as you say 's time's running out and that's the that's a beauty the last week uh last week the transfer window and obviously we get a deadline day on Friday but just on that last caller that's the flip side and he does have a point as well I've heard I've actually heard a lot of people say this know Celtic even Celtic fans they might be in the minority but I've heard a few of them this week saying you can almost understand the board's position in in one sense and that they know they they're well ahead Rangers domestically know they must feel as if this even now this league title is going to be in the bag when they look across the city and see what's happening and see the see the quality that Rangers are lacking at the moment in terms of their squad so do you really going spend know 20 30 million know just to kind of hmer home that dominance domestically of course they want to try and H know they want to make it help them progress in Europe but we know what the Champions League's like now the level of that Champions League we've seen it the last few years when they went in know would would a 20 million 30 million pound investment really make that much difference to Celtic and the the Champions League group listen Brandon Rogers would probably say it would but I think there are certain I think there are people out there think look no let's not be Hasty with us with this cash that that that's the other side of their argument but listen the majority will agree with the manager know go and get the players you want pay whatever it takes to get them and put your faith in him know that he knows they're going to take us to take us to another level Fraser just on that on the flip side to to Scott's argument there John Rush has written in saying someone needs to inform the Celtic board we are not a bank this year again Celtic have been an absolute disgrace taking to the last minute to get players in it should have been done months ago hang your heads in shame if it goes wrong on Sunday I mean I would think that is probably echoing the majority of Celtic fans I could be wrong but I I he towards that argument absolutely I mean I'm I'm a guy that's Prudence first every walk alive but I think Brandon Rogers truly believes that if he does get four players in the next three or four days of that quality then he can have a right stab at getting through the Champions League I was there the group stage sorry I was up there on Friday at L and usual Brandon Rogers it was a little subtle digs towards the boardroom that of what was needing done it's very clever that way and he was at it again after the the win on Sunday I don't know what day suay on Sunday and I think he making it clear that if they are to make any progress this season they need to spend and I think everyone can see it a massive hole left by Matt oy in the Midfield you're going to bank a record fee for It Go and spend it the millions are already there for last year's Champions League more Millions coming in for this year's Champions League so I think they can afford to to take away you know to to listen the P strings we but so no I think those saying they don't need to do it well you're extreme danger of Rangers making a couple of right good signings and catching up you if you don't go and spend and building where where you already are who's to say the Premiership campaign who's to say the Premiership title A fality this season I certainly wouldn't say that Celtic should win it they're strong favorites to win it but if they don't go out this in the next four or five days and bring in two or three quality signings then well it could be a far more even playing field than the way Rogers will be thinking Daniel terms of the midfielders that he's looking at I mean if they've pulled in 25 to 30 million for o he'll think that if they can get angles and the boy bogish at H lafc know if they could get if he could get a two of them in for half of that even if it's 15 million for the pair he'll think that's a brilliant deal no and quite right no it's 15 mil still 15 million profit and he's getting two midfielders for the know for the price of one and these are OB l two guys he's identified that he thinks can make the team better um and also it bolsters know you're losing one in if you get two in of that that caliber then that obviously bolsters and strengthens your squad so let you can understand the way he's the way he's thinking it's just it's just whether the board will back him on it and as I say go that extra mile if these clubs hold up for for a price starting to sound like they're backing them it sounds like the the bids are in and they're ready to go to the next stage so C ly with with the Engles um and we all know these are the positions Celtic need Central Midfield attacking Midfield a center half if if if they can get Austin trust in for Sheffield United I've seen him a couple of times big solid left-sided Central Defender I think beside Cameron carers both American intern arals of course he could actually be a right good sign in that no should say comments coming in uh on um on all of our social media channels thank you very much and get involved in the comments section below uh P mlin who's watching live on YouTube he says if Celtic get Ang goes in bogish that'll be 20 million right away he also points out another 13 and a half I think that's a bit high for bernardon um by the sherfield United Defender for5 million that would be40 million spent in this window now that does sound like a lot of money for a Scottish club but when you keep take into account they'll get almost 30 million for O'Reilly alone and they were already coining in before that I think I think that's a I think that's a reasonable spend really that's including all the Adon as well which are further down the further down the road of course yeah that's true that's true I I I don't know I I just can't see I just don't see how the board could get to Saturday and have not spent a lot of money you saw Peter lell getting stuck after uh the S Marine game I I think they have to push the ball out Celtic they've got no choice that's what I'm saying the kind stand still as Rogers said himself before maty left as he spoken Friday Rogers admitted then they've brought in Adida they've spent 13 million to stay exactly where they were at the end of last season so now M's gone basically admitted they've gone back a stage for last season they they have to spend be inconceivable for them not to at least bring in two players in the next three next three days I think what's Your Gut Feeling Scot do you think Celtic will will push the ball out I think they will maybe not on all of them no if you're asking me will they get end goals bogus and trusty in for those figures maybe no maybe two of them and then another one they might need to get down the get down the list to the next next Target I mean maybe that's maybe a we bit a we bit negative but that would be a lot of money for them know the figures that we're talking about um so listen who knows but this is this is all about it's all about Europe it's all about um know player trading s on value and it's all about Rogers basically what to take Celtic to a level where they just kind be caught by by rang I know Fraser saying know the League's not a formality this year but for me Celtic are well ahead of Rangers at the minute and if they go and get these guys and they perform to the level that obviously Rogers thinks they can it just takes it takes Celtic on another it could take Cela in another kind of Stratosphere Al together and be very difficult for Rangers to go and catch in the next few years and I think that's how he sees his role now no domestic dominance there has to be progress in Europe he wasn't happy last season although I C the performances in the Champions League were good he wasn't happy with Squad strength and and what they could do he's trying to address that just now and it's also about signing it's about getting another or or no it's about getting some angles coming in who's what 2021 and in three four years after he's as I say he's excelled in the Scottish Premiership suddenly you've got Premier League clubs coming in for him for know 25 30 million that's that's what Ro Rogers wants to achieve absolutely um across the city going back to iook Scott there's been plenty of transfer rumors today regarding Rangers uh Jeremy sento who's he's a Brighton Winger place for Ecuador's been linked uh Adel who was Egypt's star during the the Olympics that just went by it kind of f Rangers are kind of I'm trying to think of another phrase other than kind of feeling about in the dark but I think they're really they're really trying to get something done before Friday yeah it feels like they're shoing in a different Market that's for sure to Celtic um Philipe clemont say that he's going to need to be or the club's going to need to be creative going be clever um he's already said a million times players need to go the door before he can get guys in but he was clear after the Ross County game on at the weekend as clear as he's been actually the whole summer on he wants new bodies in before the before the weekend um whether that's because he knows a coup was going to go I don't know but I think he realizes the seriousness of the situation in terms of the makeup of that Squad Squad the profy we spoke about it before Daniel the strength of that Squad it badly needs more quality but as you say they're having to search about in places where you maybe wouldn't search like going for the Egyptian Winger who I believe just from what I'm reading today he his price has gone up already which is a which is a problem for Rangers um so I they shoing in a different Market they're going to need to be inventive with it but definitely needs listen I think he I think he needs four players in before H before the window four starters for to go right into the starting 11 pretty much pretty much if you're talking about putting up a a a reasonable challenge to Celtic for the title and also surviving in the the Europa League I think he needs four four signings of a certain a certain quality in attacking areas Scot sorry about no I think um not necessarily I think he needs an number 10 for us because if we're talking about cwell going and going um Tom Lawrence is pretty much the only number 10 he's G know for that for that system so they need another creative attacking midfielder um if they're going for um the Egyptian Egyptian boy or sento that would suggest he wants another Winger I mean of course you would want as many wide creative players as possible but I mean I do think when when Cortez comes back and he's obviously got Cherney there already and he's got guys that can he's got other guys that can play wide I don't think there's a necessity for me the number 10 is a necessity I think a number six to replace John lrom is an absolute necessity for them somebody that can control and dictate games what you thought of rrom as a as a player um know against pretty much every other team in Scotland bar Celtic JN L some ran games for Rangers I don't think they have that that's no disrespect to Conor Baron or or Dio Mandy who's in there just now but they need another dominant sitting midfielder um to him in there I'd be amazed if that's not a priority and and I would argue they maybe they might need another Center back just with with Ben Davies going because obviously they've got Su and they brought Robin proper and balagan is there but balagan was signed pretty much as a as a backup was a one year he's he's obviously older he was seen as maybe kind of fourth choice so it be interesting to see if they get another Center back in but it's going to be a fascinating week Daniel I mean you think about it with we've got the end of the transfer window we've got we've got the Scotland Squad today we've European draws Thursday and Friday we've got European games Thursday night I mean Fraser are going to tast so it's it's going to be some week in Scottish Football ABS absolutely it certainly won't be boring um you I mentioned the top of the show that you guys were both at the Scotland press conference today Fraser how was it how was Steve Clark uh we all saw that he's unveiled his latest squad for the games against Poland and Portugal um it got quite a strong response on our social media channels but before we get to that was he in a good mood today Steve Clark was he all very much his usual self trying to B off questions with that usual kind of dry humor of his ER but spiky at times like the problem was this is the first time he spoken publicly since the Euros flop like sh shambles too strong award just the the disaster in Germany two months I think shambles is fair yeah I don't I don't know it's a disaster just it just did not go to plan with such high hopes to go there I think it's been over two months now and and people have been looking for answers for Steve Clark or at least for him to answer questions on it and this was the first time is fronted it up which totally took away from the the squad announcement for next week's game H the bigger story was Lessons Learned for the summer whether he'll admit to mistakes whe the players were admitting to mistakes what could have be done better that's probably what 80% of today's press conference was about is Scot agree um so I don't know he held his hands up to some things you don't get too much away mostly that's in the paper tomorrow but the thing is he's here until the end of the world cup he he's going nowhere H never admits it never crossed his mind to to pack in after that uh Euro's flop um he believes in the squad he can still get us to the World Cup and it's about learning lessons for what happened in Germany thing is the pressure is on them now to deliver H all the kind of Goodwill for that incredible start to the last qualifying campaign is fr of the way time to deliver again now and that's that's a hell of a strong looking Nations League group we're going into so fingers crossed I I agree with Fraser Daniel I think Steve clap was wrong he leave it this late before speaking he tried to he tried to a p it off today by saying like he didn't see any point and going over it after the tournament to then have to go over it again when he came back but I I don't agree with I think he owed it I think he owed it to the fans he owed it to the supporters that were in Germany to come out shortly after the tournament and and try and explain exactly what what went so badly wrong um instead he left a complete well a complete information vacuum if you like for three months where know punters were just left completely disillusion disappointed and unfortunately for Steve clatt I think I'm not saying it would have stopped it but I think almost because he's left it so long and know I think there'll be kind of a bit of know C taste in the mouth a lot a lot of fans I think there's a danger that that carries on into the the Nations League camp I mean first game at home to Poland at hamen i think I'm right in saying they've already sold most of the tickets because it was done it was done well in well in advance but after the debacco in Germany those punters will turn up next next Thursday expecting a reaction no expecting a result expecting a big performance and if that doesn't happen right away I think Steve Clark will will feel it because I I think a lot of punters know are really disgruntled with what happened in the in the summer and the and the lack of explanation as to as to why it went that way why we went into games with that approach as Fraser says me we were there the day listen I admire him in a sense that he did he probably tried to explain things into more depth than I even expected him to I thought he just put the put the barriers up again and and no want to get into detail but he actually did with certain things um whether you agree with them no that's that's an our matter Al together but a lot of the things he said were things that know I think the ordinary guy in the street could have told could have told you a lot of things not regretting regretting taking friendly Zone against England France and Holland back to back pretty sure at the time we would have said that that wasn't a that wasn't a good idea for Scotland get into get into a tournament um and there were other there were other things that seemed pretty obvious that I think he could have come out and explained or talked about shortly after the the tournament he did he's left it a long time as Fraser said he was kind of grilled on it the day took up most of the pressor and I think that will carry on into next into next week and if results don't go to plan in a very tough Nations League group know the pressure's really going about um before qualifying for the World Cup even starts mean Steve Clark saying today he feels he's earned the right to to get into the World Cup qualifying and you can of disagree with that the guy got us to two two tournaments out of three after we'd waited know a couple of decades at least to to get get to one so of course he's got credit in the bank the problem for him is if he loses the first two three four games in the Nations League suddenly Scotland's records at 111 and 16 there'll be major pressure major pressure for no for the media for support us as to whether he should continue into the World Cup qualify campaign so it'll be interesting to see Happ that's already there that pressure is it and the thing is if there was one team possibly as poor as us in Germany maybe was Poland so home Poland is probably well it's either the best start he could have hoped for in this Nations League game because it's a very winnable game but then if we don't go and win it as you say Scott the Press R right up I mean imagine if we're starting with a trip to Portugal next Thursday you don't beat if you don't beat Poland at hamen or you get beat at hamon and you know three days later you need to go to Lisbon and you've got Portugal away I mean that's tough very tough um Ian he's brought in a few new he's brought in two or three new players to the squad couple of younger players what a baptism that will be for them not for the I don't or Max Johnson or whatever coming in to these high pressure games I know it's only the Nations league but because of what happened in the summer because we fought so hard to get to this know this top tier of the Nations league as you say are put no fans will turn up expecting expecting us to go and to go and beat Poland on on Thursday and if it doesn't happen he's he's under major P well let let me come in with a couple of the comments that have been sent in regarding Clark and and phaser I know by no means is social media the be all Endo but this is a pretty fair reflection of some of the comments we got H John Neil Clark should have been sacked bring someone else on board fresh ideas he had his chance uh Nick Doran look I know clar gots the two tournaments however a performance and inability to change tactics has to be called into question Trevor Phillips great another campaign of boring unadventurous snooze fi football no point in qualifying if we're going to play like we did in Germany it's embarrassing just a one on the other there was one comment Pro clar that I found from David shayer he says I'm I'm glad he's staying unlike others I've got numerous criticisms of his stale in start elections but come on folks we beat Spain and we're unlucky against them in the away game I think you you said that Scott he's he's under pressure serious pressure already no no there the qualifying campaign was brilliant no he taking that away Steve Clark I mean some of those results were incredible probably exceeded all expectations but we've now went to the last two tournaments and hav they turned up for any of them um and that know that this one in Germany was the one where things were me to be different all the chat before it from the staff and players was about how they' learned a lessons for Euro 2020 and it was going to be better we were going to attack the tournament because we the players to do so we showed that in qualified by beating Spain and beating H Norway but it didn't happen no I've said it before on here we were we were the only team know we qualified for the tournament but didn't they take part in it were the only team that didn't take part in the the tournament I think statistically we were the worst team at the at the eurus I mean there's juston away and F he said today no he admitted today that he know it was it was too negative against against Hungary in the last game there's no there shouldn't be any any excuse for that and as one of the callers is said there there has to be no there has to be a different approach get into these games we have to know I've listen we all understand with Scotland know there's got to be a defensive structure we need to be solid we need to be hard to beat we get that but we need some shots and Target need to get some CR season um none of that happened at the at the Euro so do you know what the players need to take their share of the blame as well Clark shielded them for their failings in Germany that I hold my hands up when I saw the starting line up against Hungary I thought all right okay let's go at them and for some reason I think Clark admitted himself today partly game plan but partly on the players as well they they it's up to them to take the game to hungry hungry are happy sitting in their own 18 yard line I remember te opportunities to get the ball in the box and either the ball wasn't good enough or they took the wrong option that's on the players so I can't Steve Clark can't take a the blame for this we we had good players better players than what our performances showed in Germany and H I just think the players need to take a massive portion of the blame as well and come back strongly in this Nations League campaign time is against a we bit guys but before we wrap up I want to actually just mention the squad itself because I don't know about you guys I was a we bit surprised um not I mean I was delighted to see Ryan golden I think it's crazy that he's 28 and still doesn't have a senior cap that just is unfathomable to me um but Connor Baron did he surprise you that maybe he wasn't in and as well Fraser we we've talked about Craig Gordon before um I was I was a bit gutted not to see Craig Gordon again been playing for hearts I saw him in the the the posing game last week pulling off a great save for me save with his forehead on Sunday right out my seat I was at the game that was incredible well I would saying does that go down as a save because it hit him in the head all right not it doesn't it then anything he's still one of the best three keepers at absolute worst surely I don't know hearts are still shiing goals in I'm not saying it's Craig Gordon's fault I think even me it's time to draw a line and move on now Robie mcro is getting regular game time Angus gone is a recognized number one and I'm happy with that great Gordon's coming 42 you know I'm right that 41 it's 41 now I it's 42 in hogman I don't know um it's not at Italy who could just go on and on and and make bottles of wine and pull saves off Right Center I don't know it comes a time you've got to draw a line and maybe 75 caps out farewell against Finland you know we do have decent young goalies coming through Robie mcro I still believe given a full season at karock could be a future Scotland goalkeeper Angus G still at a good age Xander Clark I'm very happy with as a Scotland Squad goalkeeper so nah I wasn't overly surprised by that I think sad as is to admx if injuries robbed them of 100 caps say that Gordon but what a unbelievable story and it's still got a few chapters to go with hearts as well I hope so I was I was slightly surprised with Baron Daniel um I thought one of the dunde boys might have get in as well either M or or Leo C he just on that Scott Simon Murray look I know he's 32 now I get maybe the ship sailed he scored 23 goals in 46 last season he's got six goals in seven games this season seon I watched him against HS at the weekend I thought his movement was brilliant he hounded the defense I don't know I just I just feel I don't know what else he could do really to get a look in and we're trying out for Firepower I mean why not give him a go I think it has just his Edge gone against him I think I didn't realize he was 32 it's probably older than I thought Simon M he was um so that's probably what went against him and listen we all know A's a couple of changes in that Squad we knew get in there other day that Steve was going to stick with the crooks of the the squad he's just he's just not a guy for wholesale wholesale changes he likes just drip feeding one or two in and that's what he's doing now with the like do and Max Johnson obviously coming in h at right back as well but I say I think one of done D boys maybe deserves to get in I think Baron certainly had a claim just for the the start he's made at Rangers um and I thought that I don't know I just thought there might have been one or I just thought CL would think I really need to freshen this up I need to give the punters know a we bit of optimism but know I need to get them back on side um just be getting a few Fresh Faces in and as I say although there's one or two which maybe not quite what what we were looking for I'm delighted for Ryan gold though um as you say I mean 28 not even a cap yet just seems ridiculous Madness by the same to almost seems bizarre that he's getting in now because cuz it feels like for years we've been we've been crying out and asking why why he wasn't involved before now but listen he's in there he's a I've spoke to R gold loads of times interviewed him loads of times he's a great boy terrific player it'll be a really good addition to the squad um I he can go over his jet lag next week when he arrives for Vancouver or or Texas or whatever is he's coming for I just hope I just hope he gets a game that's we want to see him I hope he gets minutes at least same goes for Johnson and do um I mean it's nothing against L nothing against Anthony Ron but he was obviously the backup come in his right back at the Euros didn't have a great tournament like every other player um I hope I really hope Max Johnson gets a gets a chance because I I genuinely think I think Johnson's know I think he could be better than Ralston obviously in a few years few years time I think you think Patterson and heckey I think Johnson's the one that you want to see coming up coming up behind him in that in that position um and Do's just exciting I know he needs to go and play minutes at Club level but he's got electric pace and it was such a shame that that he had to pull out of the the Euro Squad because I think we all spoke about how he might be the he might be working a wild card working a Joker um but saying that if went Steve clap probably would have put him on anyway so H Fraser I need to finish tonight's haing live with this comment H well actually before I do I said it was your first appearance since the Euros but it appears in the comment section you've gone down a storm Timothy MC mcari here same phraser you're a handsome Rascal l so there you go is and his name is not Timothy McNary I thought you might know that in this one as well from Brown Warrior saying does Eddie Van Hal know his favorite guitar has been turned into a gaming chair I think that's referenced to your your lanyards behind you there Fraser it's not even my chair one appearance and he's getting fan already I know I know if we could get some fan mealing for Scott for tomorrow that' be great guys exactly um that guys that brings us to the end of tonight's hotline live if you're watching at home you sent in a comment thank you very much we'll be back again to do it at 6 o'clock tomorrow uh Fraser Scott is always a pleasure cheers thank you Timothy MCN cheers and cheers guys thanks for watching
