Denise Richards Signs Up To Do Another Reality Show – Will People Watch?

oh welcome to DBL so Denise Richards is the latest celebrity to land a new reality show the E network announced that Denise and her family will have a show next year the working title is Denise Richards and the wild things which is a reference to her hit 90s movie Wild Things Denise has two adult daughters with her ex Charlie Sheen and a 13-year-old daughter it is not clear if Charlie will make an appearance on the show they were married for four years before divorcing in 2006 last week Alec Baldwin announced he was launch in a reality show with his wife and seven children what do we think about this I mean I think a lot of people forget Denise Richards back in the day like 16 years ago 15 years ago had a reality show I thought it was on the E network and I just remember she's actually a great subject because she is very unfiltered in the original one I think we have a picture uh she had like a whole farm that lived in house with her from like donkeys and horses to pigs here she is I think picking out some more animals to come join her at her house oh my goodness but she's interesting but what do we think about typically these big celebrities would shy away from reality television Erica we're seeing more and more people like Alec Baldwin come into reality what do you think yeah I think Alec Baldwin's situation is kind of a PR um campaign to let the public know that he's a family man Denise Richards I think that this is a good move for her because like garcel B said at some point she's like I've been famous pretty much my whole life but when I became reality TV show famous she like that was a level of Fame that like no one could have prepared me for and Denise Richards was on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for a season and she's come back kind of as a a guest role and she really opened herself up to this larger audience who may not have known her as well so kind of using that as the Catalyst because it was a very controversial run for her and she did end up quitting the show is probably a good Financial move now I don't know what's going to happen to her family but it's she's also doing only fans which is pretty I would want to see what how that how a person does that her daughter does it too they don't do it together but that's interesting that would get my attention and Charlie Sheen so are people doing this just for the money I mean what do you think that there's a risk I mean you're you you met your wife in reality TV your story is almost backwards to me because these people it seems like they're going there after their Fame you got your Fame and then you used it as a launching pad for other projects yeah I think some people are very desperate for fame especially when they fall out of it once you taste that fruit it never leaves your mouth you want more and more and more that was a weird analogy no I think you're right but yeah it is but it really is and I think we're getting away from protect everybody don't film Britney Spears we went through that era of you know all that I think people just like to see a train wreck they want to see if Charlie Sheen will come back the clips I've seen of den Denise Richards she seems lovely but she did seem in inated and a lot of them and people want to watch that if Charlie Sheen comes in and she's inebriated and pigs are running around the house and there's a goat in there you you're watching a train wreck and people want to get back to that as much as they want to help the whole world and save the planet they want to watch this well Jeff to your point man that's what they say they say that they want to help the whole world but it's what do they watch and they want to see the train wreck we've seen a lot of branded manicure TV people branding their uh making their brand and saying this is who I am and I think people are ready for a little sadly or however you look at it little 2002 E [Music] TV that's what it's called and that's how he walks out Charlie she in Major League to Wild Thing yeah what did that have to do with Rich it's called The Wild Thing yeah but that had nothing to do with baseball okay all right let's talk about sex shall we let's talk about you and me okay okay going along with wow she totally let you off the hook with that one this is a this was seg Wayne because the number of sex scenes okay in major movies has gone down over the past two decades if you could believe it so the Oscar winning film poor things got a lot of attention last year for its sex and nudity scenes and salt bir was another film that went viral for some of its graphic sex scenes but films like these are on the decline a new study says the number of sex scenes in major films has dropped by 40% percent since the year 2000 recently actors like Mersa Ali and pen Badgley have taken a stand against filming sex scenes actresses Blake Lively and Julia Roberts refus to shoot graphic sex scenes and SJP has a no nudity clause in all her contracts I fully get this do we need all these sex scenes what do you think yes wow all right go ahead no but she makes a good point we need it yeah I know we definitely need it a a whole joke oh never mind you want to repeat it sing wild thing again Wild Thing same response so you you like all the sex SC what yes but I'm also an El I'm the eldest Millennial and I think this next Generation has no interest and Erica has a great point about why but I just think they're asexual and they're less interested and they have a lot of other things that they can access but for me I want to see I'm old school because I like seeing the chemistry even the gratuitous ones like saltburn I like the saltburn love salurn I liked saltburn I didn't need all the gruit sex did I did I don't I I'm going to go the opposite of Tori calling the generation beneath us uh asexual they less sexual I think that there's asexual people in every generation I don't think that this is an anomaly I do think the idea of the internet and being a completely digital like from the time that you were born on changes a lot of things you these kids young adults grew up with the internet they had access to nudity if Jeff wanted to see some a nudity he had to get one of his friends to go into his dad's closet in order to get some Playboy that was like underneath don't throw keys under the bus like that that's what that's how you had to it was like you're so right so these kids are like sex nudity yeah she no you're right remember on Howard St he used to always have Mr Skin come on and Mr Skin would tell you like what part of certain movies no oh yeah so because it tells you when you can see a new person CU there was no access before so now it's obsolete to Erica's Point what you think I totally agree first of all I want to exonerate your father that was a hype you said Jeff's dad hypothetical hypothe say friends Dad I said friends Dad sorry Mr but yeah I I think maybe that's part of what we're talking about in in terms of the access and in terms of what's going to keep your attention it's hard enough to make people watch movies trying to get your kid to sit down and watch some this 30 minutes an hour is almost impossible so even somebody is a younger adult 2025 to keep their attention maybe sex ain't it like it was for us that's how you got us in the theater but maybe it's storyline and you know the things that led up and maybe this person's trauma that led them to the character that they are that is going to bring audiences but whatever it is they need to figure that out and we realize sex ain't it and that's why it's not on the screen I think sex is it Oke
