YEAH, TERRENCE AND SYLVIA. IT'S A SPRINT TO THE FINISH NOW, WITH NEW POLLING DATA YOU MENTIONED SHOWING THE RACE IS NECK AND NECK WITHIN THE MARGIN OF ERROR NATIONALLY. RIGHT NOW, ACCORDING TO AN AVERAGE OF RECENT POLLS FROM REAL CLEAR POLITICS, VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS HOLDS A 1.8% LEAD NATIONALLY OVER TRUMP AND SLIGHT LEADS IN EACH OF THE BLUE WALL SWING STATES OF MICHIGAN, PENNSYLVANIA AND WISCONSIN. AND HARRIS SPOKE AT A LABOR DAY RALLY IN A CITY IN ONE OF THOSE SWING STATES DETROIT, MICHIGAN. AND ACCORDING TO AN AVERAGE OF RECENT POLLS FROM REAL CLEAR POLITICS, HARRIS, AS WE SAID, HOLDS THAT LEAD, THAT SLIGHT LEAD IN THE SWING STATES. BUT COMPARE THESE NUMBERS TO THIS DAY IN THE RACE FOR AND EIGHT YEARS AGO. SO ACCORDING TO REAL CLEAR POLITICS, AGAIN, BIDEN HAD A 7.2% LEAD NATIONWIDE ON THIS DATE. IN 2020, HILLARY CLINTON HAD A 4.1% LEAD IN 2016, AND SHE LED IN EACH OF THE BLUE WALL MIDWESTERN STATES. WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN THAT ELECTION. SHE WENT ON TO LOSE NATIONALLY AND IN THOSE STATES. AND TODAY, HARRIS HELD A LABOR DAY RALLY TELLING VOTERS NOT TO GET COMPLACENT. WE KNOW THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY TIGHT RACE TO THE VERY END. WE KNOW, WE KNOW. AND I GOT YOUR BACK. BUT I'M TELLING YOU, WE KNOW HOW THEY PLAY. WE KNOW WHAT THEY DO. SO LET'S NOT PAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO THE POLLS. LET'S KNOW LIKE LABOR ALWAYS DOES, WE ARE OUT HERE RUNNING LIKE WE ARE THE UNDERDOG IN THIS RACE BECAUSE WE KNOW WHAT WE ARE FIGHTING FOR. AND AS YOU JUST HEARD, RUNNING MATE TIM WALZ WAS IN MILWAUKEE WHILE TRUMP AND RUNNING MATE JD VANCE DID NOT HOLD RALLIES TODAY IN EIGHT DAYS, HARRISON TRUMP PARTICIPATED IN A TELEVISED DEBATE, AND ILLINOIS GOVERNOR JB PRITZKER TOOK TO NATIONAL MEDIA TODAY TO OFFER THIS WORD OF CAUTION. HE'S NOT TO BE UNDERESTIMATED. AND THAT'S ALL I'M TRYING TO SAY. I THINK KAMALA HARRIS IS A TREMENDOUS PERSON WHO, WITH GREAT CAPABILITY, WHO WILL BE ABLE TO EXPRESS HERSELF AND COMMUNICATE WELL. BUT WE SHOULDN'T BE THINKING THAT SOMEHOW THAT KAMALA HARRIS HAS A GREATER ABILITY TO WIN A DEBATE THAN DONALD TRUMP. THEY'RE GOING TO COME IN AS SIGNIFICANT RIVALS WITH VERY, VERY DIFFERENT POINTS OF VIEW. AND HARRIS AND PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN ARE SET TO TAKE THE STAGE IN PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA, MOMENTARILY FOR THEIR FIRST JOINT APPEARANCE SINCE BIDEN DROPPED OUT.
