got some other I mean it's just there's there's a lot of things going on I got a lot of work to do but I'm excited because it's at that time of the year you know bro it is a very exciting time of year a lot of stuff getting cranked up here got College got some college football tomorrow night man looks like we got a few games tomorrow night here so that's exciting big slate on Saturday just uh just over I guess eight days now away from the start of the N NFL season the big game between Kansas City and Baltimore so yeah we're here dude we've made it we got our auction draft tomorrow huh is that tomorrow it is tomorrow tomorrow 9:30 your time yeah it's kind of best not forget that yeah it's kind of during the worst time for me but uh I gave the wife a heads up that's like work ain't it huh that's like your drive home from work ain't it about that time yeah usually but I don't work tomorrow so that works out but like daughters gota um uh a local volleyball game so I'm happy my wife gets go see that she'll be back in time but it's just a chaos with all the kiddos normally I like to stream it and I'm gonna try to if I can but I don't know how chaotic it's gonna be I might just be on the laptop doing the draft while wrestling around I think if we're gonna stream one we should do the uh the other one for the other league cuz like I feel like the auction I mean we could try it or because it's the dynasty so like some players that you might want aren't available because they're on other team right right right we we made a trade before this thing the other day man we're making trades before the season even starts bro yeah you know and you know I forgot to tell you this thank you for that trade like thank you it feels nice to actually get a uh reasonable fair trade that works out for both sides like yeah you ended up giving me a little bit better player in AJ brown but it also comes with a salary cap hit because it is a dynasty league so like it it you needed a tight end who' I give you Kon canade I got I took I got Mike Evans and canc DT cancade and I gave you the ream engine and AJ Brown that's right that's right and uh um which which I mean in itself seems like a pretty fair trade but when you add Brown AJ Brown was uh you know uh you know little more expensive he's about he was over double of what Mike m he was yeah he was so it made sense and I needed a wide receiver you know and so I always trying to do that bro like if I'm in the trade I'm always trying to look at what the other team needs and I want to see both teams get better because I like my leagues to be competitive all throughout the entirety of the Season you know I don't want two or three teams getting out there and then you got the bottom half of the league that just quits playing so if I'm ever trying to make a trade I'm never trying to get one over on somebody I think that like for whatever reason I made that trade in my opinion I like what I'm getting out of it but I also don't feel like I'm screwing the other person I'll tell you what whoever owns The Bangles in the league that we're in Uh I that steps who it is always sends me dog [ __ ] trades all season long me crazy perform list or something like that physically unable the pup list yeah the pup and then you've got uh who was it oh San Francisco I think it was was it Elijah michell is out for the season because uh of an injury so he's out um AJ Dylan out for the season with a neck injury oh that's a big one yeah that's a big one but uh there wasn't really anything like too shocking yesterday with the cuts and whatnot freaking Mike White talk about the best job in sports right is um backup QB backup QB my man is about to play for his third he can't leave the AFC he's about to play for his third AFC East team in the last three seasons you know he was with the Jets went down to Miami got cut from Miami yesterday and signed to the bills practice squad I mean that guy's doing it right man man he don't have travel far to collect all them paychecks man no it's just going to be a little bit colder than in Miami but you know it will be Buffalo will be slightly colder than Miami if he can if he can hang on for the for the whole season down there but uh we had that uh some big news out of Kansas City they cut Tony uh Cad kadary and he's he's guaranteed 2.4 million so I mean from a team that needs some um needs some wide receivers help uh it must be really bad with that dude if if he's uh he listed his house for sale yesterday it's pretty I'm actually proud of him he had like a if it was actually his house I saw on the internet it was a house built in 1950 so my man didn't go out there you know it it's just a it just a you know it was like $240,000 house you know nothing mod living yeah good don't trade them you're gonna clearly you're G to cut them because you don't want to waste four QBs on your uh you know your active roster but yeah they have four QBs on their active roster uh James Winston is the backup but he was listed as someone that they're willing to trade which I'm like man this guy's hyping you up all SE all preseason right he's he's the he's a vocal leader in that locker room and you want to get rid of that man I'm saying whatever I put that guy out there let him play for Dam to sha Watson right now I don't even care I know man if they're willing to let him go maybe quick because it's kind of a newer thing that we're all seeing out in the world but it looks like the uh should be sharing that screen up there there we go NCA proposes eliminating football spring transfer window we all know about the transfer portal and everything going on with that it's kind of changed the face of college football here usually have two days in or two different periods that you can hit the transfer portal their little Windows one of them's in December usually I think the day after the conference or day or two days after the conference title games through like first week of January and then there's usually a 15-day window in April where players can also enter the transfer portal well looks like they are talking about eliminating the 15-day window in April there um they want to talk they talk about roster stability it kind of makes sense to me man it will reduce the amount of days you can that athletes can enter the portal from 45 down to 30 and the only looks like they and this has not been approved yet there just talks about this but if they they do wind up voting on this it will take place for next season there so looks like they would say from December 9th through January 7th would be the only 30day and I kind of like this man I do and for any teams that would be in the playoff you would have an extra five days after your season season concluded obviously teams season will be ending at different times there so you'll have an extra five-day window after your season concludes if your team is in the playoffs there to decide whether you want to come back to your school or go to another one good morning Jabs good to see you man um but yeah this was kind kind of and I kind of like this man I think that after you there should be this one window here after the conference title games during bowl season all that stuff but I think this once we get to April we've already had spring practice at I help pretty much all these schools at that point because it starts in about March for most places but after you've done all the spring practice and you've got your Rost you don't want to have to re keep retooling these rosters three four times a year man with new recruits coming in with new transfer portal guys with all this different stuff and you know if I'm a coach if I'm a head coach I would like to have a pretty good idea of who's going to be on my roster by April you throw this this other window out there man you start adding a whole influx of new guys that come in in like June there and now you're completely retooling and redoing everything you just did in Spring practice because you got a lot of new faces there and you don't know what you really got so I kind of like the fact that you do it the 13-day window at the beginning you add the little extra five-day window for the guys that are in the playoff there and then you close it down we're done talking about it till next year I like that what do you think man yeah like as long as they've got a chance after the playoffs and stuff like that for they do I mean that's you should know pretty like I understand these are big decisions stuff like that but I feel like at that point in time throughout the course of a season you've kind of decided whether you want to hang around or whether you don't yeah but like if you're on Ohio State and you're playing for a national championship but you're not one of the starters but you don't want to leave your team because you might you might get in there but also too you get to be a part of a national championship experience you should because you saw the kid from Texas last year have to that man he didn't get to go play with his team in the playoff and he was bummed about it he was going to transfer and everybody was cool with it man everybody was like hey go you know he knew he's not going to play over Quin or Arch Panic he knew that the guy's a great player in his own right I've drawn a blank on his name I do apologize for that but he wound up having to be was forced to go and hit the transfer portal then wasn't able to compete with his team in the college and that's that's that's kind of I mean even if you are just standing on the sideline doing your thing whatever you earned that right to go enjoy that atmosphere and all that stuff so I agree with you there man I do like the fact that they'll let these kids play through the course of the Season there and with your brothers and go do that man because even if you leave and go to another school those guys still gonna be your brothers because all are GNA allow teams because I mean these these these NL teams are worth so much now billions I mean billions I mean Cowboys over 10 bill yeah yeah 10 billion with a beat so now they're going to allow teams to sell up to 10% of their of their team uh to a list of permitted private Equity firms so if you have you know you have a mutual fund or whatever with one of these firms you will be you could be a part owner of one of these NFL teams well dude don't you know like have you heard about that crazy I think it's the Packers where the Packers have like 3,400 owners or something because they sold a bunch of stock to the fans and a lot of the fans yeah yeah yeah each you can buy like for like 300 bucks you get a little certificate and you're like a part owner part owner of that like it's that's a pretty cool that's owned by the the city not the not an actual own reading an article on this a few weeks ago and I was like what a what an idea ahead of its time that's pretty cool because you know you'd feel pretty good to have your little certificate framed on the wall I'd pay for something that for for a little piece of the Bucks imagine if you would have got them in in like 2000 and 24 years later you got $100 that thing's worth like a couple Grand now I start to say so it's just like buying a stock man you can you you can sell your ownership and time for whatever it's worth at that I would imagine because imag what would be the point of having it right right right that's fair I just thought it was a pretty cool idea just different you know yeah because if you couldn't sell it then you technically aren't an owner of it right that's fair that's fair yeah that makes sense okay you would just be buying like a a souvenir that's fair that that's true that's true they could just sell those in the gift shop couldn't they yep and then we already kind of talked about this uh earlier but I guess we didn't really dive into too much are you going to be tuning into this podcast of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce podcast like I said I've never I've only ever seen some of the clip of shorts sd14 fan usually keeps me up to date on this stuff they have a couple some good segments in there and whatnot I imagine they got a lot of cool stories um you know just the places they've been and the people they've met in the world there but you know I haven't listened to enough of it to know if it flows well or if it's even worth listening to have You Have you listened to much of it no it's one of those ones where I only check in the the highlights and the clips when they say something interesting or they have an interesting guest on or something like that that I'll tune into we've pulled them up on the show before but it's not something that it's my regular uh everyday listen like some some other podcast that I listen to so are we G to get copyrighted now if we play any of their Clips because they're worth absolutely for Amazon yeah well we don't play that many of them anyway don't have like I said it's cool good for them uh it it may want you know I don't know maybe is this good for people like us you see stuff like this happening does this a kind of like the receivers getting paid man when the big podcasters get paid to us little guys are we getting racist man no no no we're not cooler if we did bro would be cool but no uh this just keeps going it's you know celebrity name that's all it is what that's how everything is a lot of people they want to use the name because they know it'll get views which will sell ads and real real life does you think this I don't think this happens if we don't have all the Taylor Swift [ __ ] from last year absolutely and that's going of be the new thing too is like these athletes like I mean Robert Griffin just got fired from ESPN and then what does he do he starts his own podcast with his wife which was genius yeah he'll be just fine RG3 gonna be just fine yeah and how do they get people to click and View and all their stuff well he he gave away I loved it he uh he he let's see if I can pull it up and find it he um uh RG3 I want to see if we can find just came in giving away good stuff huh yeah let's see uh maybe it's a Robert I like RG3 too man I don't always agree with everything he says either but I do like the guy man I do feel like he's one of those analyst type people that's about the players and stuff I like seeing his interviews with uh with you know with with guys that are about to play the games and all that stuff I feel like he does because he's been there and he he can relate to all that stuff and everything it's just pretty cool segments in those spots I like RG3 I liked to this cuz one I thought it was a genius but two he definitely was taking shots at well this might not be him where is if he's taking shots at ESPN everybody should be taking them shots at ESPN by now no I mean he's not taking shots at ESPN he's taking shots at uh cancel culture okay get him RG3 you see bit do a different day but at least one day a week he's going to be in here with us breaking down top 10 games of the week so we'll make sure and he'll be on the thumbnail and all that stuff on those mornings but now we're shooting for every Tuesday that he will be in here with us yeah the plan will be he'll join in about 5:00 a. so we start the show 4:30 a.m. Pacific and I say that because that's my time over here Cricket's obviously 7:30 for him but uh Robert it is 4:30 a for him as well so that man's a champion that's why I was surprised when he uh was willing to commit to an every week
