2024 OREGON DUCKS GAME BY GAME PREDICTION - COLLEGE FOOTBALL

all right I was a little surprised at the number of times this one was requested but the Oregon Ducks are up today we're going to take a look at uh Oregon for 2024 complete team preview prediction game by game breakdown of their schedule where I'll give you a winner and a loser every single week for Oregon shout out to everybody over on the patreon page who requested the Oregon video I hope you all enjoy it uh really appreciate everybody over on the patreon page helping to support the channel it really does mean a lot to me all right let's take a look at Oregon Dan Landing entering year three he's won a lot of games there no Conference titles no playoff burst nothing like that but he's won a lot of games last year of course two close losses to Washington kept Oregon out of the Pack 12 title game and potentially a trip to uh the playoffs they did go on to win a New Year's six Bowl against uh was it Liberty I mean just absolutely destroyed them uh but Oregon under Dan Landing is a classic case of a really good team but yet to to to to Really jump the hurdle to take the next step anything meaningful well I don't know about mean anything in in the postseason in terms of uh conference championships are Beyond um right there's a couple of programs that over the last couple of years have been pretty good uh but it failed to make conference title games or uh or uh playoffs um Ohio State last year now they did make the playoffs the year before although they did not make the big 10 title game uh Old Miss underlane kein has had a pretty good two-year run but coming up a little bit short of making the SEC title game in the playoffs I think Oregon kind of Falls in that same category um specifically the the Oregon Old Miss uh comparison I think is a good one if you take a look at Oregon and Old Miss they've won almost every single game they're supposed to win and then the biggest games of the year they come up a little bit short with Old Miss last year 10- two in the regular season but they lost to the two best teams they played Bama and Georgia the B game was close in the first half they ended up losing I think 24 to 10 uh the Georgia game got away from them and they got blown out and then you take a look at Oregon really going all the way back to Dan Landings first year they played Georgia they lose uh last year losing to Washington uh twice Dan lanning's biggest win at Oregon outside of the new year six win last year which again was against Liberty so you can you know take that for what it's worth they did beat Utah uh a couple of seasons ago I you so you know I guess that would be maybe their biggest win but um it really does feel like Oregon in particular is poised to take that next step there's a few teams that are going to obviously benefit greatly from the expanded playoff uh you talking of course Oregon old miss you throw Penn State in there there there's several teams that have been sort of just on the outside of that top four at the end of the year for a lot of years kind of looking in at the four team playoff that going forward you would assume would be a a part of the conversation within a 12 team playoff more times than not Oregon definitely falls into that uh falls into that category they've got one of the most talented rosters in the country uh when you just talk about pure talent top to bottom Dan laning done amazing go job both through High School recruiting and the transfer portal building that team from the inside out they've got really good lines of scrimmage good skill players they go out to the portal and fill in needs uh as as as they as they come up which we'll take a look at in a second specifically uh on the offensive side of the ball this year with a quarterback and a wide receiver that I think could have a really big uh year offensive coordinators back will Stein he goes from bonick last year to of course this year Dylan Gabriel now if you look at what he did with Bo Knicks it was a minor miracle Bo niick started at Auburn for three years uh and it wasn't great I mean he had some good moments at Auburn but it was really nothing spectacular gets to Oregon and then last year in particular was a a significant Contender for the Heisman Trophy even the year before he had a really good year before kind of getting hurt there in the last month of the season but it was really remarkable the turnaround he was able to do with Bo Knicks now with Dylan Gabriel there's really no type of turnaround needed he had an amazing year last year in fact about halfway through the season Dylan Gabriel was one of the Front Runners for the Heisman last season as quarterback at Oklahoma he had that unbelievable game against Texas in about Midway through October I think that was a lot of you might remember that game one of the best Red River shootouts we've seen in a while and uh he was sort of on on on everyone's radar when it came to the Heisman Trophy and I tailed off a little towards the end of the season but Oregon picks him up through the portal and he's poised to have an unbelievable year at quarterback I think for uh Oregon and will Stein of course happy to have him they do have to replace a bunch of key pieces over on the defensive side of the ball they've of course got a brand new schedule as they have now moved into the Big 10 and while I do think the Pack 12 was a really good conference last year and from a competitive standpoint was one of the most entertaining conferences to watch in all the college football I do think that the top of the Big 10 is is a little bit better than the top of the Pack 12 generally speaking in most years now of course last year Oregon and Washington were both really really good teams Southern Cal sort of took a step back last year as did Utah and that dragged the Pack 12 down a little bit in terms of comparing the top of the conferences to one another uh whereas over in the Big 10 of course you had uh uh Michigan who won it all Ohio State who was really really good Penn State who went 10 and two for the 100th year in a row losing only two Ohio State and Penn State so there's a lot of that going on over there so it's going to be interesting to see how Oregon transitions um just like it is with Southern Cal uh the other teams that are joining the Big 10 Texas and Oklahoma of course now a part of the SEC the AC has got four new teams so all of these conferences that you're talking about this year in 2024 one of the most interesting aspects of the entire college football season is sort of the revamp schedules that all the conferences had and seeing a bunch of regular season games that we normally don't get to see and if we do there maybe the one-off nonon type deal you might remember Oregon playing on the road at Ohio State a few years ago in a big nonon game a game Oregon won by the way they play again this year but it's a conference game in Eugene of course talk a lot about that game when we put the schedule up but the new schedule the new opponents unfamiliar environments a lot of travel back and forth from coast to coast for some of these West Coast teams we'll see what effect if any of that has on these teams but Oregon I think is poised to compete right away immediately day one within the Big 10 not just to be competitive but to win it uh I think they've got a very good chance uh to make the big 10 title game I think they got a very good chance of winning the Big 10 title game I would be absolutely shocked if Oregon is not a playoff team this year considering we've got 12 teams that are getting in they're just absolutely loaded the only question again can they win the big one and by big one I mean during the regular season it's the only thing they haven't done talked about it last year losing to Washington at and look Oregon was favored in that game people expected Oregon to win and they lost in the regular season against Washington few weeks later the Pack 12 title game rolled around and we got a rematch Oregon vers Washington well guess what Oregon was favored again expected to win and they lost can they get over those types of humps during the regular season this year now it may not matter in terms of their ability to make the playoffs but it's definitely going to matter in terms of their ability to make uh the Big 10 title game or potentially uh or potentially uh win it uh let's start with the offense I talked about the offensive coordinator will Stein bringing in quarterback Dylan Gabriel out of the portal from Oklahoma who uh spent was he at Central Florida prior to that he transferred to Oklahoma now he's of course transferred on up to Oregon I think he's going to have an unbelievable year we're going to take a look at some of the Vegas odds on these things in a minute here Heisman National Title uh uh regular season win total we'll take a look at some of those things in a minute but I think Dylan Gabriel is going to have great year he's got a lot of weapons to work with Tess Johnson is back Oregon's alltime single season uh receptions leader in terms of number of uh uh number of uh receptions uh Holden and Bryant are back and a guy that I'm sure it's being talked about a lot at Oregon and it may even be talked about more maybe in Big 10 circles than than what I hear stuck down here in Georgia in the Southeast but Evan Stewart the pickup from Texas A&M I think this guy could be a superstar both at the college level and in the NFL the minute he entered the portal out of Texas A&M I raised my hand as a Georgia fan and I said I I'll take him um Georgia ended up uh going a different direction getting a couple of other guys out of the uh portal probably because they couldn't get Evan Stewart would be my guest um I think everybody wanted him I think he could be a true Superstar number W one wide receiver on the outside there for Oregon's offense and Dylan Gabriel I'm excited to see what he does this year in an offense that was dominant last year right I mean they put up ridiculous numbers Oregon did uh 530 something yards per game over 44 points per game one of the best offenses in the country period they do lose some key pieces like I said but it's not a rebuild situation they're reloading you take a look at the offensive line another area where they got to replace place a couple of key pieces but they've got three starters returning on the offensive line two NFL players at tackle they're going to have another really good offensive lineup their Center last year I think won the award for best center in the country he's gone so you got to figure something out there but they got one guard back and both the tackles I think the offensive line will be really really good again you flip it over to the defensive side of the ball and again like I mentioned they do have some key pieces to replace here off of again a defensive unit that was really really good last year 34 sacks uh but they lose four interior defensive lineman serious starters or serious contributors four interior defensive lineman from last year's team gone off to the NFL they're going to have to replace that they brought in a transfer from Houston to give them sort of a big body some size there as they transition into the Big 10 where of course um again not to get into a comparison of who's better or whatever between Big 10 and back 12 but uh in my opinion at least the Big 10 does have bigger better um offens in defensive lines uh than what the Pack 12 uh than what the Pack 12 has traditionally had over the last few years so bringing in some size there were just transfer from uh transfer from Houston Holden and Bryant uh uh with uh Holden and Bryant uh I'm getting back to the offense here uh let's stick to the defense I look down here and I see Houston transfer and Holden is still in my head from the offense uh but anyway they bring him in Jordan BTS though probably the be well is he the best player on Oregon's defense I'll ask the Oregon fans that are watching I think he's probably got the the the the highest ceiling or the most potential is that a fair way to put it I really like him I think he could have a really really good year first round NFL pick potential there for sure of course they've got DJ ukul lele's younger brother which is you know it's it's only funny because of you know it's ukulele and now ukul lele's brother and he's in Oregon but he could have a really good year they've got some very talented linebackers now a lot of them are younger and inexperienced and maybe not known at least their names not known nationally but again if you look at the way Landing in Oregon have recruited over the last couple of years it's been really really good and I think we're going to see some of those young guys this year become household names particularly at the linebacker position a room that I think is just absolutely loaded with Talent um at Oregon all right I'm going to put some odds and stuff up on the screen and we're going to talk about that now all right shout out to the good people over at bet us uh they've been kind enough to partner with the channel here for the you'll see we've got the Heisman for for this coming season 2024 and uh I wish they would put them in order uh they're not in order um I I wish they would put them in order but you look right here Dylan Gabriel plus 700 uh that's the best odds on the board Dylan Gabriel is the betting favorite right now to win the Heisman Trophy the transfer quarterback from Oklahoma who is now at Oregon so I told you I think he's going to have a huge year a lot of people obviously agree with Uncle Lou he is the betting favorite at plus 700 just behind him of course you have Carson Beck at plus 750 Quinn Y at plus 1,000 Jaden mildew at plus 1200 so forth and so on will Howard the Ohio State transfer quarterback at plus 1,800 uh the bigger brother ukulele here the another transfer now at Florida State at plus 3,000 Garrett nus from LSU plus 2,000 of course Jaden Daniels won it last year um at LSU Jackson Dart the Old Miss QB at Plus 12200 anyway you get the idea there's there's sort of your list there uh of Heisman uh of Heisman Front Runners now not telling you that to tell you that that means Dylan Gabriel's definitely winning the Heisman but this is an indication of what the betting public people who are willing to put their money where their mouth is when it comes to uh college football they really really like what they see uh they really really like what they see with uh with Dylan Gabriel all right let's move along can they win at all can Oregon win at all well according to bet us they've got odds at plus 750 so where would that rank them uh overall well Georgia it looks like right now is the betting favorite at plus 310 you've got Ohio State just behind them at plus 375 but third on the list is Oregon at plus 750 so they are the third favorite again according to the betting public people who are willing to put their money where their mouth is Oregon is the third favorite uh to win the 2024 National Championship not the big 10 not a playoff game uh but to win the whole thing right there at plus 750 you can see behind them you got Alabama at 1,200 uh you have Old Miss at500 LSU at600 so forth so on down the list there uh again these are uh all the current odds according to bet us the link is in the description of the video you can check uh click the link check them out make sure you get yourself signed up uh take advantage of that uh of of that deposit bonus that they have and here's the last one I wanted to look at this is regular season wins again according to uh bet us shout out to them but they've got Oregon's regular season win total at 10 and a half um regular season only so we're talking 12 games here we're not talking about the big 10 title game should Oregon make it there or anything beyond that this is their expected win total for the 12 game regular season and bet us has them at 10 and A2 you see right here over under 10 and a half know I you can't win 10 and a half games uh for those of you that gamble you know how this works if you don't gamble again this is a betting number you're betting that Oregon will win more than 10 and a half games which of course would be 11 or 12 or you're betting that they would win under 10 and a half games which would be 10 and two N9 and three 8 and four you know however it is you think uh however it is you think Oregon's going to do but there you go there you have it those are some numbers from BET us click the link in the description of the video shout out out bet us all right let's put the schedule up on the screen we're going to go through it game by game and I'm going to give you a winner and a loser for every single week uh they start off with several noncon games Idaho and Boise State at home now this ain't the Boise State from 15 or 20 years ago that was busy beating Oklahoma in the fiesta V and been finishing in the top 10 for several years in a row not that they're a terrible program or a bad team but they're not at the level they were back then now they still kind of live on that reputation and I don't think Oregon will take that game lightly against boy e state but with the game being at home it's hard for me to imagine Oregon dropping that one they'll beat Idaho and then a Boise State at home relatively easily in my opinion and start things off at 2 and0 now they play a instate rivalry game which used to be a conference game within the Pack 12 but you know unfortunately for reasons way above my pay grade Oregon state is kind of got left behind right with the great Pack 12 migrations to the Big 10 and the Big 12 Oregon State and Washington State are kind of sitting there with the hey what about us you know uh routine but they're still going to play the game and by the way shout out to them for still playing this game for finding a way to put feelings aside and to provide to the College Football World something the fans actually want to see and something that is important to college football fans a lot of these people making these decisions when it comes to college football now do not care about you me or anybody else sits in a ridiculous chair all day on Saturdays in the fall and watches college football what do they care about money in the bottom line that's it feelings get involved feelings get hurt this is the reason we haven't seen Texas play Texas A&M in 15 years or whatever it's been this is the reason we're no longer seeing the Oklahoma versus Oklahoma State game going forward right so shout out to Oregon and Oregon State I am sure Oregon state is hurt mad upset depressed angry whatever word you want to hear that Oregon ditched them left them behind went off to the big bad Big 10 and Oregon State kind of is rolling along like a tumble weed down an empty street I'm sure that bothers Oregon State as a school as an Administration as a football program all that to a certain degree but the people that matter at Oregon and Oregon State have been able to put all of that aside and say you know what the fans want to see this game it's the civil war game it's an instate rivalry game it's been a great game over the years let's not let what's going on now with the conference realignment in that Rob fans of this game so I want to give a big shout out to Oregon and Oregon State for putting all that aside and finding a way to get this game played with that being said it is on the road at Oregon state Oregon's not losing I Oregon will go there and and get the job done I just don't think Oregon they got a new coaching staff you know Jonathan Smith left to take the job at Michigan State a lot of turnover there and I just wonder because of all the outside noise with what's going on they really have no home the car it the pack two you know they're not really in the Mountain West but they play some of those teams they're not in the Big 10 but they're still playing Oregon but you know they're just kind of a No Man's Land feel bad for Oregon State and Washington state but I can't pick Oregon State to beat Oregon even though Oregon has to go on the road and then Oregon has a bye and of course everybody's got two by weeks this year there's an extra Saturday between the start of college football season and Conference Championship Saturday so uh you know normally you have 13 Saturdays to play 12 games the way the calendar Falls this here are 14 Saturdays to play those 12 games so everybody gets two by weeks Oregon gets their first one here uh after their first three games at the season which are all nonon they're sitting three and0 heading into that bye come out of that another road game um a big 10 game Oregon's first Big 10 game but it's against a familiar opponent UCLA both UCLA and Oregon of course transferring from the Pack 12 to the Big 10 effective this season so while this is a big 10 game and the first Big 10 game for both of these School actually I think this is UCLA's second Big 10 game but it doesn't matter matter it's Oregon's first Big 10 game but it's against a familiar opponent in a familiar environment sort of on the road at UCLA a place that they play uh that they play at every couple of years right UCLA like Washington State a lot of turnover there Chip Kelly kind of left them high and dry deciding to leave step down as head coach there sort of in the middle of January and take the job as offensive coordinator over at Ohio State they had to kind of scramble to put somebody in place there and again through no fault of their own they were sort stuck in a hard position in a hard situation there besides that though or Oregon's just a better team you know it's not like that's the only reason I'm going I'm picking Oregon to win at UCLA but it doesn't help uh UCLA to have your coach sort of leave you in the middle of the night like that I think Oregon goes on the road and gets a win at UCLA they remain undefeated and they're one and0 in the Big 10 and then a couple of home games Michigan State and Ohio State and what that's Ohio State game is one of the biggest of the year we'll talk about Michigan State first though I do like the change that they made to Jonathan Smith he had some success at Oregon State um not winning any Pack 12 titles or making playoffs but you look at where Oregon state was at before versus where they were at under Jonathan Smith he obviously did a pretty good job there I think he will improve Michigan State melt Tucker just never worked there for whatever reason and then he had the issues with the um sort of assault complaints or whatever it was with the um later I'm not going to get into all that so he was sort of forced out right they bring in Jonathan Smith I like the high but it's going to take him a year or two to get that roster turned over in my opinion they don't have the talent to compete with Oregon it's a home game for Oregon Oregon will beat Michigan State no problem and then we come to the Ohio State game and this is one of the best games of the year period I I don't care whether you're a fan of an team an ACC team Notre Dame Big T whatever group of five this is a must-watch game if you're any type of college football fan at all I showed you the odds a few minutes ago these are two of the top three teams in the country in terms of chances to win a National Title in 2024 uh Georgia is the betting favorite Ohio state is second Oregon is third this is a massive game now it's massive in that it involves two great teams two top five teams two teams that could win the Big 10 two teams that are probably both making the playoffs regardless of who wins this game and this has kind of been people's complaint or part of people's complaint about the expanded playoffs now I don't necessarily agree with those people I don't look at this game as as meaning any less uh than it would have had it been played two or three years ago when we had a four playoffs still a huge game it's still going to be a great game I I wish I could watch this game right now um it's going to be an unbelievable game but it is true that the loser of this game it it really means nothing in terms of the ability to either win the Big 10 make the playoffs or win it the one thing that losing this game does do is it it it for forces the loser basically to have to run the table probably now we don't know what every other team's record within the Big 10 is going to be at the end of the regular season but the loser of this game right will have one big 10 loss and they will be two games behind the winner of this game because of the you know the tiebreaker the head to-head so it is a big game in terms of seating in terms of ability to make the big 10 title game because let's remember if you win the Big 10 or any major conference for that matter not only are you guaranteed a playoff spot you're guaranteed a top four playoff spot which includes a first round buy so this is a huge massive game here in in whatever this is week six because winning this game doesn't guarantee you anything either You' still got the entire back half of your schedule but if you lose this game you are really in a back against the- wall mentality the rest of the way because 10 and two is not going to guarantee you a spot in the big title game Big 10 title game probably you're probably going to have multiple two lost teams so being 10 and two I don't think would be a guarantee to get into the Big 10 title game which is what you need to do if you want to win the Big 10 and get a first round buy now again the loser still making the playoffs in my opinion with all that being said Ohio state has gone out and acquired one of the most talented football rosters top to bottom that I have ever seen now I haven't gone back and compared the ratings of their players to the ratings of some of the best AMA teams or whatever other teams you want to name but just looking at roster every year around this time of year I don't know if I've seen a roster just loaded they've got three or four NFL wide receivers they've got at least two NFL running backs they've got a couple of NFL offensive linemen quarterback is probably the biggest question mark on this Ohio State team and I know that was the case last year too but it's it still just blows my mind the transformation that Ohio state has made from the last two years versus like the 10 years prior when every quarterback they had it was a plug-and play they were going to get 4,500 yards and 50 touchdowns and be a Heisman Contender and all that now they were busy not winning anything while they were doing that and they've made an obvious philosophical change at Ohio State let's play better defense let's run the ball let's let's improve the lines of scrimmage and let's find a quarterback who's not going to lose the game um maybe he's not a Heisman winner but he's not going to lose us any games this is the approach that you've seen teams like Georgia take Michigan who won it all last year no shade to JJ McCarthy or STS and Bennett but they're not CJ strad they're not Justin Fields they're not Bryce young they're not Caleb Williams now what they are is National Title winners right but they don't have the huge NFL ceilings that those other guys do and that's what Ohio state was doing year after year after year they had an entire wide receiver room full of Pro Bowl uh wide receivers and an NFL QB and their offense was great but their defense struggled they offensive line wasn't great they were had the whole soft mentality they flipped the script on that this is a ridiculously talented team on both sides of the ball but so is Oregon and they've got to play in Oregon and it's still Ryan day and it's still Ohio State they've still lost three straight to Michigan they still haven't won the Big 10 since co uh Ryan day has never won a playoff game he's had honestly he's had a hard time winning any big game at all um since Co he's lost I mentioned lost three straight to Michigan lost to Georgia in the first round of playoffs lost Old Miss in a in a was it Old Miss uh in a uh who was it that or was it Missouri Missouri I believe uh in a New Year 6 game last year they eventually Ohio State's goingon to have to find a way to win some of these big games but so is Oregon talked about it earlier Oregon loses their biggest games of the year in the regular season every single year I'm picking Oregon to win this game because it's at home I'm gonna be dead serious with you I won't bet I won't bet $1 on this game one way or the other I wouldn't I don't care what the line is I I just want to watch this game and enjoy it for what it is which is two of the best college football teams in the country going head-to-head in a home environment out in Oregon unfamiliar to Ohio State a game we don't get to see very often at all we will going forward now that they're both in the Big 10 this is going to be an unbelievable game I could flip a coin and pick Ohio State to win on the road I flip a different coin pick Oregon to win at home I'm I'm going with Oregon because it's at home if this game was in Columbus I'd pick Ohio State this is no shade to Ohio state check my preseason rankings check everything I've said about Ohio State all off season I think they're one of the best teams in the country I think they can win the Big 10 even if they lose this game I definitely think they're making the playoffs and I think they have the ability to win it all I just don't think they're winning this game on the road at this point in the season uh in Eugene I've got Oregon undefeated halfway through the season come out of that on the road at Purdue uh a win um you know sometimes you join a new league you start to look at like matchups or style differences between teams and all that and I Tred tried to do that with some of these games Purdue Illinois which has had a good defense several years Maryland which has been kind of a step below pin State how do they match up maybe and I'm just going to save you some time here I I just think the coaching and the talent advantage that Oregon has is so great over teams like Purdue Illinois and Maryland there's just no way they're losing those games so I've got Oregon beating Purdue on the road beating Illinois at home and beating Maryland at at home now that Michigan game is sandwiched in between there so let's talk talk about that um I don't know if that's a more difficult game on the road than the Ohio State game is at home I think the Ohio State game is probably more difficult Michigan's got a great defense I've got questions about them offensively um I talked a lot about Alex orgy in the offseason particularly back in the spring he didn't look good to me he didn't look good when he played last year to me I'm I'm talking about ability to play the position of quarterback yes he's very athletic yes he can run around yes he could score an 80- yard touchdown if he scrambles and gets loose um but can he throw a 17 yard Crossing route over the linebacker and under the safety I no I I not that I've ever seen I I don't I don't trust his ability to throw the ball I made a big deal about that in Spring Michigan fans jumped all over me I'm an idiot the gu's winning 19 Heisman now fast forward to now summer camps have started workouts have started and you're starting to hear some stuff trickle out from Michigan that maybe Alex or is not going to be the guy we'll see one thing I don't question about Michigan though is that defense it's going to be lights out again uh they're going to have one of the best defenses not just in the Big 10 but in all of college football I do think Oregon will struggle on the road at Michigan to move the ball I just think they're too good I I think they go into the big house and get the win I think it'll be an ugly game um this is a situation here where having a Dyan Gabriel is going to be a massive Advantage for Oregon this guy's very experienced he has played in big games go back and watch last year's Texas Oklahoma game and tell me if you think Dylan Gabriel shrinks in big moments the guy played lights out in that game he's going to have to do that again to get the job done on the road at Michigan I think they find a way to do it I think Oregon goes on the road and beats the Wolverines already told you I think they beat Michigan on the road out Wisconsin I'm going to be honest I haven't picked a single team to go 12 and0 you guys I watch a lot of these prediction videos that I do I've done 20 or 25 of these so far I haven't picked anybody to go undefeated not Georgia not bama not Old Miss not Tennessee not Texas not Oklahoma I've done the Ohio State version of this video I didn't pick them to go undefeated not Penn State not anybody you want to name I I think if a team's going to go undefeated it's going to be Oregon the the schedule now I I don't want to say the schedule is Ben look if you got to play Ohio State in Michigan that's not beneficial that's not easy right but you get the tougher of the two at home in my opinion Ohio State and you catch Michigan you know that may be in a I don't want to say a rebuild year but in sort of a transition year at least with Harbaugh gone a lot of the offense gone you're getting him in a transition year it sets up it feels like 12 and0 let's go to the Washington game first and then I want to come back and talk about the Wisconsin game um Washington again great season last year what kayin deor did there was unbelievable Michael pennick had an amazing season but they're replacing all 22 starters off of that all 22 starters are gone either through graduation and or portal the entire coaching staff is gone and again just like I talked about I like Jonathan Smith moving from Oregan State to Michigan State and I think he'll have success at Michigan State in the future I feel the same way about fish at Washington great what he did at Arizona inheriting a bad situation at Washington in terms of just the the turnover in Talent alone on top of the fact that now moving to the Big 10 I Washington I don't think we'll beat Oregon this year I know they beat him two years three years or they beat him three times in a row uh Dan Lanning is 0 and3 against Washington right um Oregon's biggest rival perhaps I don't know how some people I don't know Oregon fans y'all look at Washington or Oregon State as your biggest rival I would say nationally maybe because of how good the teams are we kind of look at the Oregon Washington game as bigger than the Oregon Oregon State but maybe if you're an Oregon fan it's the other way around I I would defer to y'all on that um I think Landing gets his first win against Washington I I I just think there's too much change there at Washington this year I think Oregon get gets it done so let's go back to the Wisconsin game I'm picking orgon to go 12-0 I think they're going to get a win on the road at Wisconsin but I tried to find a loss here I I really did I y'all know me I always try to find a loss for every single team if I was going to pick Oregon to go 11 and one I would have them losing at Wisconsin I could see a scenario where they beat Ohio State um in week five or six whatever that is and then shift all their focus to the Michigan game with the mentality of all we got all right if we can just get past Michigan right then they beat Michigan they look at the rest of that schedule and they go all right we we made it and they slip up somewhere after the Michigan game right well they only have one road game after that Michigan game and it's the Wisconsin game and I do think Wisconsin will be an improved team this year versus last year year two under Luke fickle I think they're going to sling the ball around a lot more than maybe a lot of us have ever seen Wisconsin throw the ball um but I just couldn't pull the trigger and actually predict Oregon to lose lose that game I just think Oregon is that good um could they yeah they could um you know once they beat Ohio State in Michigan if I'm right they're pretty much guaranteed at that point a spot in the Big 10 title game so they could afford to lose one of those last four and probably still get into the Big 10 title game because you got to remember they'd be 11 and one and they would own tiebreakers over both Ohio State and Michigan um Penn State could be sort of the wild card there they don't play P state so you know where does Penn State end up in terms of the Big 10 title game matchup or whatever do they get in but I just don't think Oregon's going to lose I think they're going to go 12 and0 and um I I think it's probably headed for a rematch with Ohio State and the Big 10 title game that that feels like that's what's happening this season in the Big 10 to me of course I could be wrong these are predictions I get them wrong all the time um you know I'm not some kind of Oregon Homer I've never predicted Oregon win much of anything at all um and I'm not predicting him to win anything this year Beyond these 12 regular season games I'm not telling you I think they win the Big 10 um I am telling you I think they make the playoffs same with Ohio State uh I I don't see any way imaginable Oregon and Ohio State don't end up in the uh playoffs um and we may get to see them play twice and potentially a third time in the playoffs if uh if all of this comes true but there you go I I don't like to do it I I honestly try I really really tried to find a loss here for Oregon I just you know Ohio State at home Michigan on the road new coaching staff new quarterback the Talent Oregon has I really think Dan Lanning is is kind of hitting his stride right now as a as a head coach heading into year three and then the last four games of that schedule outside that road game at Wisconsin I just I guess it's three games because you have a byee between Wisconsin and Washington but those three game I mean Maryland Washington again A lot of people are going to say they've lost three straight to Washington it's it might as well be a different program Washington than what it was last year or the year before it might as well be a different program just every all the players are gone all the coaches are gone it's just a a bad situation for Washington for this year I think I just I don't know I've got organ at 12 and0 I appreciate you watching be sure and let me know down below how stupid I am have a good morning
