right there we go good afternoon boys and girls how are we doing how is everybody doing good to be back with you guys on stream feels like it's been a long time but it's only been like two days it's been it's been a few days since we've done one of these where we kind of go through these transfer bits um and everything else obviously we did a stream on Tuesday after the Leicester game how's everybody feeling now like a few days on um but let's just start here all right we'll chat about Leicester that Center back partnership is locking up Premier League Strikers all right you're not getting past me and me and Cara all right you're not getting past me and the boy Jamie carer so yeah what yesterday was a sick day obviously there was no stream yesterday uh because I was up in Manchester uh recording the overlap um for Sky which was which was yeah which was absolutely quality like absolutely quality um I was nervous I I was a bit nervous going up there I'll be honest um but when you get there it's just like you're just chatting Spurs aren't you you're just chatting Spurs that's all it is um it was I can't tell you what we talked about it'll be out tomorrow anyway so you you'll see but it was it was carer it was Paul skulls and it was David orstein which was fascinating honestly fascinating so there'll be two episodes coming out um one on Friday and then one next week um and onstein was onstein was qu like really really good um so that was fun it was fun man um everyone else that that was there was just really nice like um it was me um Alex money Penney was the Arsenal fan I'm presume you guys probably don't know who that is because you don't absorb Arsenal content but he does uh he's got a channel called the different knock genuinely a really nice guy he's probably going to come on my Channel at some point maybe before the Northland derby um or maybe get him on the podcast he's just a very sensible Arsenal fan don't worry guys he's not a you know he's a genuinely a lovely guy um Dan hltco Palace fan who everyone who has a Twitter account will know who that is obviously does the podcast with Flav um a top guy absolutely top guy um Dan is couldn't have a you know not a bad word to say about him whatsoever a an absolute gentleman um really kind really nice bloke and we're going to do some stuff together as well I think he wants me to come on the Pod with him and Flav which will be really good uh um who else was there just kind of the usual people that you expect but yeah it was it was wicked it was absolutely Wicked and I just kind of want to say like I know obviously like massive one massive thank you to Flav for kind of giving me the opportunity to do it because obviously Flav has got a hell of a lot going on with said podcast I've just mentioned um and obviously the fighting and everything like that just he kind of passed the bat on to me yesterday which was really cool uh of him and he's been a massive help to me kind of in my journey of doing this and and an absolute Diamond of a bloke who I owe a lot to in terms of yeah my kind of Journey on here and how he's helped me out and how he's kind of taken me on the The Wing of you know the fighting and everything like that um so yeah man uh but also thank you to you guys because you know it's all well and good me kind of doing it and getting in there with with Flav and him kind of helping me and giving me the opportunity but you know without you guys watching it kind of doesn't and and getting involved and kind of helping building this community it doesn't really it doesn't take off in the same way and I don't you know maybe I don't get the same opportunities to do certain things so honestly like thank you so much it was a you know it was a big milestone moment yesterday uh Big Ben Bowman on Big Sky Sports so um yeah I'm looking forward to you guys seeing it when it does come out I think tomorrow morning make sure you get back me in the comments Lads go go start with the disappointing news that Tottenham are not in for Xiao Gomez apparently according to Paul o ke so thanks Paul cheers mate nice one for ruining that no I'm joking it's uh it's a bit disappointing it is a bit disappointing because I do think I do think this is I do think this team needs a proper number six I do obviously benen call played there on on Monday and there wasn't really an issue there um I think the way that we attack is obviously going to make it very hard for um any number six in our defense anyway I think um the athletic did a good piece on that on TF in terms of how almost like vulnerable we leave our leave ourselves um but it's uh but it's it's I do think that number six adds to that and I think that's what that's what will um without Xiao Gomez again we l l S3 245 said um we were never in for Gomez don't know who believed that there were I think it there was legs in it I'm not going to lie I think there was some legs in this in terms of both have an interest but maybe I I think there's definitely interest there but it's just where we were going to go for him again it would be very difficult for WS to sell him after losing net and obviously kilman already in the window um but I think I was going to say I think I think this this there were legs to this I think discussions did happen it's just maybe well we'll come on and talk about the next thing that maybe has happened kind of as a result of that um or or maybe the other way around so in the athletic Jack pbrook wrote a piece saying that Archie gray and Lucas bergal have impressed so much in training and preseason friendlies that Tottenham no longer considers signing a new all action midfielder as a priority um again I'd love to know what you guys think in the chat do you think this is tottenham's business done now in in the summer window do you do you think do you think that's the case um if that is the case I think we have left ourselves a little bit short I obviously Paulo Keefe um Paulo Kee said that I think in so in here a new number six is no longer a priority for Spurs they don't believe they can get one in this window but haven't brought out something else yeah a six is not happening this summer if you look at xia Gomez right again I know it's maybe a bit disappointing cuz I do think that is almost an immediate maybe concern for Spurs with obviously the fact that how basuma has kind of you know shot himself in the foot really to start this season and obviously Benson cor is now out of the game on Saturday um I'd imagine bassum will come straight back in but I'm sure that's probably not ideal in terms of what an wanted in terms of maybe that process of you know earning that trust back he's got to kind of put him straight in there so it be very interesting to see if he does go with something else and maybe maybe we do see a start for Archie gray on Saturday as a result of that you know wanting to still show basuma that you know you're not coming straight back in there were talks yesterday about Spurs potentially plotting a late move but again not exactly coming from the from the best sources um and also xia Gomez is very young xia Gomez is what 22 23 years old maybe potentially even younger so you know with Wolves always seemingly having to cell kind of window after window um then maybe maybe it's one they do come back in for because I think his name did crop up a few months back anyway um when Spurs were looking at that number six I do think it's something that um I do think it's something that Spurs will maybe go back to I I do think that but um apparently yeah Paul was also suggesting that those in Spurs inside spots really rate gray um yeah 100% I saw a few there was those reports a few weeks back kind of the way that you know he's taken to um he's taken to a kind of Life at Spurs and been impressive in training but also his character Etc like almost kind of see him as like a bit of a future Captain um so they 100% massively rate him like you say um like you say Gary 100% um LS 3245 says I wouldn't be starting pum I had months of good football whole Spurs career we're going to do we're going to do a um we we'll do a proper preview stream tomorrow um so yeah we'll we'll talk about a bit more detail then but I do hear you um Yash says the market for a six is not really there this window I agree I do agree I just think Jia Gomez was I think he in terms of his profile the way he would have fit the system he's a monster breaking up player really silky on the ball really good could play probably as an eight as well a lot of right like a lot of room for rotation in there I think he was the one but again outside of that not really there like you say um because they are the most sought it's the most sought after position on the pitch without a doubt um and that naturally makes it the most expensive so um Archie Park says why is no one in for Edison from Atlanta that's a good point that's another one that we were kind of linked with for a bit when a bit quiet I think Newcastle were maybe looking at him a while back as well but maybe that's when they thought they were going to lose garez which doesn't look like it's going to happen anymore I'm pretty sure he's been made the new Newcastle Captain Paul was also suggesting that the all action number eight might still happen but a six defo won't it's funny that because it's like I see these two players especially bergal as the antidote to not needing that all action number eight if if bergal was impressed so much which he 100% has then because I don't see I don't see bergville being a solution necessarily for the six I think well maybe it's a tough one almost like a deep line playmaker against Low Blocks I think he could but again and I think he's quite good defensively in transition as well um but yeah potentially I just think that with the I think this makes total sense this makes total sense but I think it does open up the need for them the number six so we we'll just see what happens but um uh OE says I rate Gio Ben do you rate Gio no GI C is one I'd be looking to move through the door um Yash says he's not an eight he's an eight not a proper six we need someone in the like of RI and rodri in the market just isn't there let's be real yeah I do back you on that one mate I do back you on that mate uh we do need cover for left back uh Max says Puma needs real competition I think he I really think he does it'd be very interesting to see how much he pushes gray into that position because I thought it was going to be a bit of a bing in season for gray where okay yeah plays at right back maybe plays at Center back in Europe a bit as well um and uh and yeah fils in the Midfield occasionally whereas over time he'd kind of develop into that number six for Spurs but you know that's where he came on on Saturday obviously forced by the benore injury although I think he was going to come on anyway so um yeah it'd be very interested to see um I think he could play as a six 100% Archie I I do think Archie gr could play as a six but he needs a bit of time it's a very it's very big pressure for such an important position whereas for bergal who maybe plays that bit further forward I think bergal can slot in that little bit easier um but gray is class man he's he's so good um olle FM says Ben what do you think of sank I think it'll be very good for us and people need still need 100% anyone that's anyone saying anything negative about salanki after Monday's game is Crazy by the way absolutely crazy he also follows that up by saying I think he'll score on Saturday um I I think he will as well he does he doesn't need to score he doesn't need to get that mon I say monkey off his back it' been one game but you know it' just be good to set the tone and get the rhythm going you know in terms of getting those early goals that would be that would be really nice uh Chino says I think we play Vicario at the six I back it um uh Matt Bar says do we get too obsessed with who is a proper six or proper eight like an says we have Central midfielders who have different qualities and play alternate positions yeah I agree with that but to your point I don't think we have someone of that profile that can slot in as that number six other than basuma maybe Benson cor as well but in terms of being able to do it as they're out and out position cuz I think basuma I think basuma is still an eight I do think that but again like you said po doesn't see it that way um thoughts on porro where the porro will start yeah there's not been any update on porro has there um so we'll see what happens there but do you guys let me know in the chat do you do you guys think that that is tottenham's summer I'll being honest better than Hy a cheap Club training option can settle games worked amazing with before yeah I'm not sure about that if I'm being honest I think you need to go and you again it's a bit like the striker right you can't I've said it like with the business that we've done I'm really pleased with bringing in these youngsters um but a striker a striker is one that you can't kind of scrimp on in terms of the price you need to go and buy that proven option in someone like salanki and I think in terms of the six I think you need to do that as well I don't see a signing anywh else due to Squad registration next on the Cho and block would be verer or Davis um yeah OE that's a good point actually gray could start a right back on Saturday or he might go with Spence if porro is I think this a bit like yo Santiago who's also gone to Spain um I think that this caught Spurs fans a little bit by surprise but you know sometimes when your Academy players they can't they can't all make it and Jude was really good for Spurs last season but I think they're almost refining this sort of crop and you know unfortunately for Jude there's a lot of competition for places in those attacking positions um so I just don't think the opportunity for Jud to make it at Tottenham in the first team is really there and if you actually look at this um this was the picture from when Spurs won the pl2 at the end of May Santiago's gone judon Bell's gone n John is gone Charlie sers is gone Billy heaps is gone Jamie donne's on loan Matthew Craig's on loan and Carrie bodden is on loan as well so the only players that still at the club at the moment or kind of more high-profile players are Tyrese Hall where's will will lank here Alfie doron obviously he's there on crutches that was kind of when he was injured in an his surgery and I think the goalkeeper Luka gun yeah and obviously the manager Wayne Bernett there's Matthew Craig down the right um and there's J at Bell behind tyres Hall I always get Luca Gunter and Josh key mixed up um but yeah few more expects still to go football moves quickly it does and that's the that's the thing that's you know we shouldn't be it's obviously sad like you don't you you want to see ideally like as a football fan I think you probably you want to see your whole team made up of young players from your Academy and be successful the first team but that's just reality is that just doesn't happen um and I think it's very clear who's going to make it and who maybe maybe hasn't or isn't going to so unfortunately it's just one of those things so wish Jude all the best obviously signing from Chelsea and now he's left Tottenham um but yeah someone mentioned have you seen the um pep comments on Tottenham man you should say that boy Pep Guardiola on who will challenge for the Premier League ttle this season Tottenham will be there because of the way we play now I'd imagine lot of Tottenham fans be like the way we play means that we won't win the league but I think it's just about finding that level of consistency I'm not saying Tottenham are going to win the league we definitely won't but could we bring it back run it back for season two could we but pep Pep Guardiola also said that he wasn't motivated to win another premier league title so you know won't believe everything that comes out of his mouth um Ben tyres again we are very well run and that that sustainability Financial sustainability um and stab and stability is underrated but one you do need to translate that to some sort of tangible success but also gold said first up we will need to recover from a hamstring injury suffered in the Trophy match on Tuesday I think the results of the scans on that should be available today hopefully it's nothing bad but we'll find out I think there's potential for will to get minutes in the Europa League in carabel cup in the next couple of months before making a decision in January about a loan move um I know Spurs has been telling Club so far this Summer that he's not heading out we'll see if there's any shift late in the window May makes sense to continue his integation with the squad by playing on 21
