Carolina Panthers: Post Draft Projected Roster & Concerns

so biggest roster concerns for the Panthers roster biggest concerns for this Panthers roster and in the poll it says quarterback pass rusher Center or other and you just leave a comment and you let me know which one it is which one's the worst um let's also I'm gonna start a Q&A kind of I'm kind of interested what people are going to put for this little Q&A bam there we go that's fun all the good get right into it um let's talk about some undrafted free agents okay let's talk about some of the undrafted free agents we have um so Caroline Panther's undrafted free agents uh there are some potential hidden gems in this draft class or this undrafted free agents I think Mavis uh the kicker that we got out of Missouri who's got a powerful leg impressive AC accuracy making him a formidable competitor against Eddie Pinero the kicking game could see a notable shakeup with panero's contract near its end and Mavis is ready for the challenge I think Mavis I think that's how he pronounced his last name I call him thickness because he is a thick boy if you haven't seen Harrison Mavis well this guy let me tell you that guy is a he's a bulldozzer all right um let me see if I can find a good one of them all right oh yeah here we go there he is right there here he is right there so he's thick he's a big boy look at him the next Janowski right there kicking 61 yard field goals all right smashing beers probably drinks a couple beers don't you think this guy definitely drinks a couple beers right I mean absolutely just an absolute hos kicking field goals so um you got to love it though you got to love it uh this guy kicked a 61 yard field goal at Missouri so I think he's going to win I think because of Edie Pino not being able to kick he can barely kick past 55 50 plus yards right he's barely kicking him from 50 plus yards accurate he's accurate I'll give him that but he's not he's not making 51 50 plus yard field goals it seems to be difficult for him so yeah I think we're going to get a different uh I think we got to get another guy in there right do you think the Payton Wilson injury list was justified not drafting him I think the payt what's up oh Doug's in here what's up Doug um yeah I mean I think with the you know Jade says Jay Dragon 91 so that's a good question do you think do you think the fear pton Wilson injury list was justify not uh in the draft you know again I don't know I don't know if it was justified or not I mean I don't think we'll ever know I mean I don't think we'll ever know with the whole um with the whole pton Wilson thing I I don't think we'll ever know um was it Justified again I I can't I can't say it was and I can't say it wasn't right you know I wasn't there I think that's a tough question for me to answer as a from a YouTube I guess you could say an analyst standpoint and from my opinion standpoint I mean um yeah I can't remember the other either but Gonzalez was the other one that got injur injured from the warm-up who like tore his groin or something something crazy like that so I mean again to your question though Jade I don't know I don't know again I I wasn't I think the injury concern for me P for my concern with it was is that his he tore his ACL and he had a [ __ ] up shoulder his should he tore his shoulder um so to your question the only thing I would say is do you think the fear yeah so I think fear probably caused it I think also the me they they also went in like they did with Jonathan Brooks and got his medical reports I mean you know the medical reports don't lie I mean the doctors aren't going to put false information I don't think on on his you know medical reports and they get medical reports on all these guys so you know um and they got a medical report for Jonathan Brooks and still took him so maybe Payton Wilson I mean again the guy towards ACL uh played Five Seasons at NC State so he's got a lot of uh burn on those Wheels um and then he tore his shoulder I mean it's a lot of injuries I think it kind of Justified it enough to not draft him for sure I went I I wasn't bit again a healthy pton Wilson I'm I'm all in all day for sure because of what the guy can bring to the table the athleticism the speed but at the end of the day if it's I mean if your shoulder's torn and your acl's torn and your med and the Medicals come back saying you know maybe you shouldn't pursue him you know then maybe maybe they it is Justified then I'll do that Q&A later I'm I'm G to open up the chat I think that Q&A was blocking the chat all right let me get into the next guy so Andrew rum Center out of Oklahoma um I think this guy's got a could be a lot got a lot of potential I mean I think desite relying on Austin Corbett at Center the the concerns linger over his injury history and a lack of experience in the position um or I guess it's r or Ryme I'm not how how you exactly Pro uh pronounce it but with his proven track record at at Oklahoma and a potential for Rapid Improvement I think could provide valuable depth in competition in offensive line from there um for sure um so I mean we didn't get it the problem is is we didn't get a center in the draft we didn't like pursue an actual Center like I as much as I wanted to get van pran or even Zack Fraser jpj hell I wouldn't even taken Hunter NORAD or or Tanner bolon or Dylan McMan I would have taken any of now another guy that I think's a hidden gy out of that un drafted free agency is this defensive lineman here popo um mavier I think that's how you pronounce his name we need a depth at nose tackle his size his uh disruptive play style I think makes him a compelling option um if he can overcome some injury setbacks adapt quickly to the NFL I think he could definitely challenge four spot behind Shy Tuttle uh you know adding crucial depth to the defensive line rotation definitely uh was needed right definitely was needed and then my most of all hdden gem y'all know where I'm going with this y'all know where I'm going with this jayen Co Jaylen Coker uh out of ho cross this guy is if you haven't watched his tap you you talk about a big wide receiver who I think might have some a lot of upside we made a significant investment in offensive weapons in this draft that's for sure um coker's a new outs route Runner um very intelligent ball so Greatful ball IQ his ability to excel in contest contesting situations I think offers a different dimension to this wide receiver room I think Terrace Marshall Jr status is uncertain I think mingo's job is also gonna be uh you need he needs to watch out uh Terrace Marshall Jr's though uh job he could be a cut cut piece he could end up being a a guy that gets cut because of a guy like this I mean Koker has all the opportunity to impress and has all the potential to secure a roster pot roster spot because he's got reliable hands and great field awareness I'm looking forward to seeing what this kid is be good I understand it but I'm not going to sit here and explain it to you while you're uh I'm not going to sit here and and explain it to you I totally understand why they went out and got him but that's neither here nor there so those are my undrafted free agent h gems let's move on let's get back to reality here though all right let's move let's get back to reality okay Panthers fans y'all need to be back to reality I think I feel like I need to now I've seen a lot of draft grades out there I've seen Mel kypers I've seen Fox Sports I've seen you know a bunch of people out there who have given us a bunch of different grades okay I've seen b minuses I've seen C pluses I've seen C's I've seen D's but you know the Panthers had to work with what they had a you have to think about it this way the Panthers had to work with what they had when they traded away last year to get Bryce young they tried to surround young with more Talent by drafting offensive Playmakers a adding debt pieces on the field the offensive Acquisitions especially the addition of xaviel get who can expand that wide receiver room expand the field uh could be a home run threat type of guy a 5050 ball go getter playmaker type of guy um very raw talent um but has all the athleticism in the world to be another AJ brown or DK meta now again he might not pan out to be that way but there's a lot of comparisons there to him right he's getting a lot of comparisons to those type of guys now you also gotta praise guys like Jonathan Brooks and who was a the top ranked running back in this draft to Davon Sanders a b big tight end 6 foot4 frame tight end now the Panthers didn't rece the Panthers did receive a 2025 second round pick from the Rams in their trade when they made that trade right all right when they made that trade with the Rams they got their second round pick for next year back so what a move that was and everybody thought that was a good move for the team and of course we all did that isn't clo and that you know that's that two team that really is is the Rams really a team that's close to contending right so that you know right now I think that if we started the draft today we would be at the 52nd pick in the second round now again I don't know how y'all feel about the Rams I don't know if y'all feel that they could be a contending team but it depends on how far they go and and but right now the draft started would be at the 50 second pick for next year with that second round pick all right so again another thing is is this overall I think the Panthers are are I overall I thought the Panthers went all in to help Bryce young show and to help him out even it means the defense has to suffer for a year or two I think Dan Morgan general manager has always preached pent patience and has a long-term plan to get this Panthers back to among the contenders it may take some time but the Panthers can win a four few more games be competitive in All Phases and demonstrate gradual growth I think will be a successful season I think that's a successful season if we see growth we see positivity moving forward you know that's all I think we're we're asking for at the end of the day all right um yeah I mean I'm not gonna you be good you you don't have to understand man you don't have to understand but I understand completely master degree Ballers like myself self understand it completely you know what I mean um but you know here's the thing Brady Christenson Brady Christensen might be getting moved to moved from guard to Center this season now given his injur injury history the team needs a solid backup put they passed on getting it taken ASC a draft so for for now then they get they're giving Brady Christi a chance to prove himself at Center Christensen has played tackle guard in the past the team believes that I feel like the team believes that he has a lot of potential at Center again has Brady Christensen ever played center in his life now that was something I I wanted to know because we're we're we're we're moving to Austin Corbett who's only played center on a couple snaps during preseason games when he started his career in Cleveland and that was it now he played some in college as well but never started a game and at a true NFL game at center right trying to see if Brady kir is ever played center um they say that he's back in 2022 see back in 2022 for Brady Christensen was he was prepared to play multiple positions and at one point Center was one of them but then they felt like he could develop into a great guard um and then 2021 okay but I don't know if he ever played I wish I could find his BYU f grade yeah but I want to find his oh see he never played any Center left guard see he was moved around a lot in the 2021 season left tackle left guard Right Guard right tackle even took three snaps at tight end see that's thing though I can't find his BYU PFF so that's the issue um I don't have a hope perspective for Legette I know leg's a real deal I don't have a hope perspective that's a difference you think I have a hope perspective I never said hope in any of my sentences you got it Doug I couldn't find his PFF thing that's what I was searching for but I couldn't find it see I've already came out and told everybody how why I understand the Xavier Legette pick it makes sense but yeah I mean I will agree with you in your sentence there be good there's no more excuses for Bryce young it's make or break year it's a make or break year that was that his that was at BYU at left tackle what's what's up Doug so I was trying to find if he played any snaps at BYU at Center because it just again we're we're we're throwing I kind of feel like moving a guy like this cuz there's always that looking there's always that challenge when it comes to these rosters you want to bring competition I get that they want to do that so they're not closing the door on other options I I get that I think christenson's a highly graded tackle and I know he was a highly great tackle out of boiu um oh I definitely think he can be good I definitely think he can um yes sir that's that's let me look for you yeah because I cannot find anything where it said Brady Christensen had anything to do with this um with PF with uh playing Center so that's the only thing I'm trying to figure out that's what I'm trying to figure out right now is what did Brady Christensen ever play center at BYU but um but christon again was was a highly great attack out of BYU dropped to the third round uh due to his age cuz he was older I mean he settled in as a guard uh before getting injured I thought he did a good job back in 2022 before last season I don't think he allowed a sack when he was left guard not last season but the season before that um I think he's the likely going to be the first man Off the Bench if needed anything of any of the three Interiors so whether it's Right Guard left guard or Center but I don't think we can rest our hands on just one guy just in and just in case hunt Lewis or Corbett go down that's the issue that I have here um I'd rather have I'd rather have a backup center um okay no you came back from Mission and played two years at left tackle on PFF they said he would be a better guard rather than tackle so which makes sense all right let makes sense keep pounding sports news TV SL SLR sports sports and news and TV um so I for the rookie Su like super stardom all right that's what the everybody's coming out and saying the Panthers obviously are focused on building a solid team around their quarterback Bryce young who had a rough rookie season all right let's all be honest it was atrocious okay they invested heavily in the in the in protection um and got him some more skilled players uh they made some bold Moves In This draft first they traded to the first round right picked up Xavier Gat out of South Carolina uh then they surprised everyone down and to they traded down to obviously get uh Jonathan Brooks to bring in him um and then they they move this kind of move though did raise some eyebrows I think it did ruffle some vs a little bit I think a lot of people weren't sure why they went out got a running back um but it wasn't uh seen as a significant need for neither did I I never thought that the running back position really was a need as much as other positions like Center and quarterback I thought Center and the cornerback and the pass rusher were my top three uh needs I mean wide receiver two um you could rank them any way you want but definitely those four right so the they they managed to get this Keen interest into some of these top running back prospects decided to go for the best one in the class but the Brooks is coming off of ACL which is obviously a concern but if he recovers well he has the potential obviously to be a very very good running back and a star player in this offense in the way that Canalis runs this uh his style of offense which it's a wide Zone scheme if you don't know a wide Zone scheme um Google it okay um I can explain it later on but he's an athletic player got great off on field Vision um passing pass catching ability you watch his game film he's a big third down threat okay that can help Implement Dave Canal's philosophy that he wants to implement in this offense you want to make your quarterback's life easier right now A lot of people are tipping Brooks to become a big hit in Carolina all right provide a much because he can provide this much needed spark to this Panthers offense which became very predictable and very easy to um dissect last year it was super easy the the the offense we ran last year was so basic it's insane it was insane right so you got chuba Hub right you got mil Sanders you got Raheem blackshire to pick up the slack I think Brooks is expected to be a game changer um I think K chuba Hubbert and and Brooks are going to be sharing the workload I think Miles Sanders is be gone I think Miles I think they're going to try to figure something out with mil Sanders it just doesn't make sense to me mil Sanders is not that like it never made sense to me to bring him here it never made sense for me to bring him here um I'm talking about my sanders down not Jonathan Brooks okay everyone let me clarify that okay because he was behind one of the best offensive lines in football and then he just and then everybody expect him to do the same thing here to come behind one of the worst offensive lines in football and have the same year just doesn't make sense now do I think mil Sanders is a bad running back no I think he's average at best honestly um but Canal Canales wants to run the football he's been so stubborn about that he wants it to be effective the offensive line has now found that new physicality aggression that they want thanks to the guy like Rob hunt Damen Lewis in free agency I think Brooks is that sort of electrified talent that effortless mover of the change that can change that can take this league by storm he's getting a lot of comparisons to Jamal Charles um that's the most the most I've seen I think there was another one out there um whether this happens his rookie campaign or or remain or not remains to be seen I think it's definitely something to look forward to the guy's going to be ready by trading Camp he's already putting in the work in a lot of our rookies are already out there on social media posting up a lot of videos Legette is out there Javon Sanders uh you know uh Brooks is out there I've seen mainly those two guys or three guys I I don't know if there's any other videos out there of any of our other rookies putting in that work but um if there are please send them my way put them in the Discord I I always love seeing those videos but the main ones I've seen on Twitter are those three guys who will be the wide receiver one for the Panthers so I read this article today about the Panthers uh you know getting the getting Xavier Legette right they made this major overhaul this offseason to the offense right lots of new faces joining the team one of the few bright spots from last year honestly wide receiver room which was the only bright spot in the wide receiver room was obviously veteran Adam th he's returning but there are a number of new wide receivers and tight ends right coming in right I'm particularly excited to see obviously for myself Deontay Johnson and Xavier Legette perform this season okay they both are new to the team they come with a lot of potential the addition is Davon Sanders that tied in some much needed serious fire on this offense now if you're looking at the starting lineup probably in the wide receiver room it's expected the Legette to be at the X you got John Johnson at the Y all right A lot of people are saying that I've seen I've seen Legette at the uh Y and I've seen Johnson at The X now you know I I expect it to be Legette at The X and Johnson at the Y and then you got th in the slot and then tight end position I think they're going to rotate between Sanders and Tommy Trimble um there are a couple other guys that probably will get some playing time obviously I think Jonathan Mingo we'll see if Terrace Marshall makes the cut maybe it's him maybe it's Jaylen Coker um it'll be interesting to see who emerges at that top receiver I think it's going to be Deontay Johnson and then I think it's gonna be th of course and then I think Legette I think it's going to be you know those the the in that order if we're talking talking about who's going to be you know getting the most touches um I think you know even though leg's a rookie you know I don't expect him to go out there and put a thousand yards okay all right there's not a lot of rookies that go out there in their first year and just put up a thousand yards now if he does great like I said my prediction for him is around 50 catches 700 yards four or five touchdowns I don't think that's too much to ask for okay uh Bryce young has a lot of options to choose from so it could go any direction he's just got to get the ball into these guys hands okay all right y'all let me know in the comments who do you think the leading receiver will be in 2024 yeah I mean I know he's going to be a panther this year Broski bear but but they might end up trading him and take that dead cap hit which we're already taking a a [ __ ] ton of dead cap any hit anyways they might as well go ahead and add on to it but I no I I I like that take though I I I I totally get that I totally get that all right let's project the Panthers line let's project this Panthers roster okay all right let's project this Panther's roster now both of these slides projecting the Panthers roster what concerns remain kind of go together okay these two kind of go together now for me if we're looking at this roster okay we're looking at this roster 41 people 29 people are watching on YouTube 12 people are watching on Twitter because I think they got the updated rosters now at least on ESPN all right so we're looking at it from this standpoint I think they do yeah they do okay perfect so it's ESPN is uh on it right now all right so we're looking at this roster okay first up you got the quarterback position Bryce we know is going to be lead in The Charge Danny Dalton has is the backup the Panthers didn't add a third day quarterback in the draft as as a lot of people may thought they would do instead they brought in Jake plumber as undrafted free agent um to fill that role now plumber's experience at multiple schools brings depth to the position Panthers might still be an eyeing a veteran to add for that much added security I don't know who again we also have to remember guys that this team also has first pick at Waiver Wires okay so you know guys get cut they they'll have a chance to go out and get them okay um run it back Toba Hubbert miles Sanders hold down the fort I think Jonathan Brooks is going to join that mix uh will join that mix um he's still recovering from ACL surgery right now I think they've got him as the third back no oh they got him miss the second back I don't know if this is like their projected or what but that that's what I was actually gonna say I probably project him to be right behind chuba at first um I I project him to be right behind chba at first which I'm surprised ESPN already has it like this uh I'm surprised he's not in the third depth chart for now because of the the the ACL but his potential is surging up quickly obviously adds an intriguing Dynamic to this backfield competition right all right all right why receiver room Deontay Johnson Terrace Marshall okay um you know Xavier Gat joined this team adds that versatility and depth that we need I think Legette blend of speed ball skills versatility that's what really caught this Panthers uh the Panthers eye think it's going to make him a valuable addition to this offense but I think Deontay Johnson is definitely wide receiver one as of right now um Tommy Trimble Javon Sanders definitely set um to make waves in that tight end rotation with Ian Thomas providing a tough blocking presence I think they just need to move Ian Thomas to freaking fullback but that's just me um Sanders in particular brings an exceptional um receiving skills makes him a valuable asset to have that ball up the seams for Bryce in the past game now you look at the starting lineup um in the offensive line um can y'all really see that probably not that's probably better I would say right let's do that oh wait no no no I made one the other day where was it not this one not that one here let me make myself smaller so y'all can see it I want to make this a little bit bigger but make myself smaller so y'all can see it a little bit better now that should be good Perfect all right now you can see it that's got to be a little bit better um all right offensive line the sty lineup remains stable but con the concerns arise again for the backup options especially at Center for Austin Corbett's injury history okay while there is no immediate okay there is no immediate backup was drafted now we got an undrafted free agent Andrew ROM I get that maybe po maybe he's got the potential to step in if needed um I have no but we have no true immediate backup now Brady Christian versatility could provide that temporary relief which we were just talking about earlier but again guys never played center okay defensive line let's get to that let's get down to that defense okay defensive line now Derek Brown shy Tuttle they're anchoring that line you got Jayden ketti adds depths and flexibility I think ked's experience and adaptability makes him a valuable addition especially with injuries with sideline players like DJ wanham and Amari barno are both injured uh or dealing with injuries now they're not going to be out for the season they'll be ready to go by training Kip and all that so they'll be fine um linebacker sha Thomson obviously leads the W the the linebacker room you got a newcomer and Trevon Wallace Michael Barrett they add depth um and they both are pretty intense ball players okay Wallace upbringing can definitely instill a fierce mentality while Barrett's toughness earned him a recognition at Michigan okay I think that sets the stage for a competitive linebacker room all right you look at the cornerbacks JC Horn Troy Hill they headline that cornerback room you got CH Smith way to bolster up to death particularly he's going to be a nickel guy for me in my opinion the Panthers opted to address other needs in the draft early in the draft they trust in their current roster potentially could be circling back with free agent Stefon Gilmore to add that experience who knows okay who truly knows right all right um so again let me get that comment up here I'm G to pin that real quick thank you Marcos appreciate that guys make sure you pan that like button as we're going through safety Jordan Fuller Xavier Woods holding down the safety positions with Nick Scott providing Deb the Panthers you know they made that safe the safety Moves In free agency um they solidified those position ensuring the familiarity with coaches like EO and KY and then of course you got Eddie pineer faces some competition with har Harrison Mavis as known as the thicker kicker okay for his powerful leg Mavis Mavis has arrival ads an element of competition pushing Piner to maintain a better performance honestly and a stronger leg to secure his roster spot all right um I think that the Panthers address the several needs in the draft for sure depth there are some depths that remain a concern to me at certain positions okay you know requiring uh you know the requiring continue evaluation potential roster adjustments as an offseason progresses but again to me I still see I and and honestly with the with you looking at this roster from a roster standpoint I put in the the biggest concerns in the in the poll right and I said what are the biggest rosters concerns looking at this and it said quarterback pass rusher Center or other and leave a comment all you guys voted cornerback I agree with that I agree with corner I think corner is definitely a position that is a concern for me because I cannot rely on a Dane Jackson if JC horn goes down and then behind that you got Troy Hill and the nickel you got a CH Smith and nickel who knows maybe deshun Jameson shows out this year I don't know but I cannot rely on these guys okay when we're looking at pass rushers DJ wanu and jvon Clowney you know cavon Chason can cavon Chason become what he was at LSU again can DJ wanam feed off that Viking season last year can Jon Clowney give give us nine and a half sacks again like he did at the Ravens that's remains to be seen to me as well you lost a lot I will say this even though I wasn't the biggest Brian Burns fan you lost a lot in the athletic ability and the and the pressure that he puts on the field okay I will give him L credit at his due he is he's a guy that can create you know pressure on the quarterback and you lose a guy like that when you lose a guy like Frankie lvo another guy all right that's another guy sideline to sideline player who plays hard straight to the nose I mean that guy is going to be hard to replace now can Trevon Wallace play like he did in Kentucky and be that kind of guy that's remains to be seen because Trevon Wallace if you watch a lot of his film he kind of reminds me of Frankie luu based off his highlights and film okay another thing the biggest concern overall though for me is this right here Austin Corbett but who is backing him up who is backing him up if this guy tear his ACL or MCL again and I'm not necessarily saying in the same knee but we know Austin Corbett right you know what I mean so the biggest the biggest thing for me is is I still think Center pass rusher and Corner are still my biggest concerns I would say Center is probably my number one I would say corner is my next one and then I would say pass rusher like if I'm ranking them I'm saying Center Corner pass rusher those are my biggest concerns now Chris I agree with you I'm just saying you're losing you're losing some of that momentum in that in that pass rushing room that's all I'm saying I get it so to me the remaining concerns movie who the a lot of people don't say this movie The Program if you have never seen the program the pro the express that's my last one the express okay that's a good the ER Davis story that's my last one that's a good one I would have to say the program is one of my favorites The Replacements is another one of my favorites so those are I would I mean I'm not necessarily saying in an order like if I'm giving you my top five though not necessarily in an order oh man Any Given Sunday I think is another I think that's another classic and then I I have to throw some comedy in there so and I'm a huge Adam Sandler fan so I'm gonna go got Longest Yard you got long yard that one too the longest yard but I I think water boy for me is a classic okay um and then I have to go Remember the Titans I have to go Remember the Titans yeah you got to put that in there Denzel that's one of his uh best ones be go says nobody likes the little giants I keep forgetting about the little giants man Little Giants now if you want humor that's humor yeah yeah see I'm an Adam Sandler fan a lot of people don't like him or some people do not a lot of people like Adam Sandler so um well Doug while you're in here yes sir what you got H you with it what are your looking at that roster I just broke it down right what is your biggest concern Center okay and why um I mean you already talked about it I think a lot of people we're not there at practice right now and I really can't wait till training camp to see a lot of you guys in person but until we see it for our own eyes I mean if you look at the pictures he's wearing a brace on that knee most of the time when you're in the league you're not required to wear braces I know all the way through high school and college you're required so I don't know I don't know if that's for stability or for comfort for him or for motivation for him but um you alluded to you can't tear a AC the MCL in the backtack seasons um I understand you know the move with Brady Christenson I'm actually glad they were still able to get one of the centers um out of this draft at a at an undrafted free agent that spent but if you ask me today right now how I look at the roster I understand corner I think that's kind of once this Gilmore news comes out and until Gilmore sounds with another team I do think we have the leg up and so that's the reason why I think um Center is the most concerning position right now because if you look at all the pressure that Bryce received coming at him it was in the middle of the line yeah I mean well when I looked at it and I broke it down at like when we were talking when we were talking about pressure the main of the pressure that I saw in a lot of charts and a lot of different analytics right it was coming from the left guard and the Right Guard now the next position on that was was then after that the left tackle then it went I think Center was dead last on this analytic TR I understand how because like I let everybody know I you know what he did what he did for the community I'll give um Bradley b but shoot when I say this man no no I I know and so I it's like like when you're looking at it from an analytic side it says well the center wasn't the issue it was the left guard and the Right Guard again whether it's scheme whether it's the player whatever it is at the end of the day the pressure was coming from the inside it doesn't matter if it was the center the left guard or the Right Guard I think it came off from all three of those areas because you lost Christensen you lost Corbett you didn't get Corbett back until what week 10 or whatever it was whenever we play the Titans the I mean the titons I'm sorry the titons was his first week okay so we played them the second game after the buy which was week seven so week nine yeah I'm try I would have to go back and look at the schedule but anyways you know so it's like you know so I mean so you your your offensive line was already [ __ ] anyways you were running a basic ass scheme anyways so it's so predictable no wonder the pressure was coming from the inside and it doesn't help iy either because he's worri too much worried about the left guard losing his guyre I think that was part of the issue too is that he's too worried about what the left guard's doing a little bit because he's letting that so much pressure on the inside because Zavala and those guys they they couldn't they couldn't block a wet paper bag he he did he he didn't have a good running mate that's what I'll call it he didn't have a good run that that that that was there for multiple weeks uh first week bra Chris goes down do you have Al zala then when Al zala went down you bringing people off the street to be that guard right beside them so yeah you get D Jackson off the couch yep so like I said and then I mean it it doesn't help whenever your coach is being tattletail to the owner and not doing his job every single week as well so let's just keep it a whole thing yeah yeah it doesn't it doesn't help with that either I mean and it's crazy to me it's like no one wants to listen to me when when I say this but it's also com comes down to the fact that last year we had two of the top 10 two wide receivers in the top 10 at Wars of creating separation that number two on that list was Jonathan Mingo number 10 on that list was DJ CH when whenever you bring that up a lot of people say oh but you're not giving Bryce blame no people that are not throwing Bryce to the to the Wayside understand that he has ownership as well but when your offensive line is can't block and your Center is blocking his left guard most of the time because he's getting pushed back so much and then you don't have anybody to get separation whenever he does get out what is he supposed to do right so right so it's it's a it's an interesting situation overall I mean so um quick question um what you got for me give me your thoughts on the draft like overall I mean I watched your video so you did by the way if you haven't watched most recent video go check it out he did a great job breaking down the draft um but give me and I watched it but give me give me I want to hear it from the horse's mouth you know what I mean yeah I was going to say you know I was going to ask before I did it I was gonna plug the video because if you really wanna go in depth I'm not going to give a 20 minute speech on it because that's where we broke down every single Prospect um for me in the short if you look at the film on these on these gentlemen these young men the more and more you're going to love and you understand why we did it um then Morgan did preach the dog mentality from start to finish he he got he got exactly what he wanted in each position group I understand we did not get a center I understand a lot of people were very high on Payton Wilson um one thing I want to say about that pick right there trevan Wallace out of um Kentucky was ranked higher with certain an analysts than pton Wilson he was the third linebacker coming off the board ahead of pton Wilson also he's younger than pton Wilson and he does not have a backlog where he didn't have major surgeries or have you know missing games um the Jonathan Brooks acquisition I think people had to look in a in a bigger scope as well um if chuba hubber is a free agent we already talking about cutting mouth Sanders outside of that you have nobody else in that room you can't that's one thing that Dan Morgan said he did not want to draft for just right now this is for the future as well and when you look at your first I'll say three out of for pitch for that offense that's for your future you get a you get your your future wide receiver and is Xavier leag it then you get um you get a Jonathan Brooks that can take over that running back room and then you get your Titan of the future One Clip that I I will shout out in that video it's bettersweet if you actually watch it there's a connection that I put in and one person left a comment was like Doug why did you do that that brought back memories but it's the reason why I did is because we haven't had that weapon in the tight end room since that person his left so for me um even the back end of the pits with chwe Smith I think he would be the future nickel when you look at cromedy cromy is a mean he he he he's almost that tag team partner that DK Brown needs that can take on a double team a lot of people double Derek Brown but I think cromedy can do that as well he just needs some polishing with if he can't bull rush you he doesn't have any other moves so I think he just has to get in his toolbox and bring his toolbx with him every Sunday man but I love it like I said I gave a B minus I will give the grade that I did give on the video but I would love for everybody to go check it out to get more in depth look at highlights we pull highlights from each of these drafting so you can definitely see what damn Morgan
