Apex Legends New Split 2 Patch Notes & Battlepass Upgrade

hey everyone Thoren smash here and today we're going to be talking all about the second split of Apex Legends now it's going to go over some Buffs and Nerfs and some rumors around it and whether or not they seem to be true or not along with that the second split battle pass and so much more we're going to cover all of that we're also going to go ahead and give out 45 bucks all you guys got to do is like comment subscribe you know the drill without further Ado let's talk about what we can be looking forward to in Split two of Apex Legends Season 22 so we have actually been getting a ton of leaks recently in Apex Legends and with the new split of Season 22 right around the corner well IO games made a video that let us know what his thoughts and what he had been hearing about the midseason Buffs and Nerfs and we're going to go ahead and discuss them a little bit today there are a couple of big ones here actually such as the fact that the turbocharger is going to be removed from the Havoc according to him it will be interesting to see if they bring back the select fire which used to be a hop up that allowed it to fire in single fire or you know as it normally does in the burst I do hope it actually makes a return because without the turbocharger the Havoc you know receives a bit of a Nerf but it was overpowered not too long ago now along with that the r99 is going to be getting fall off damage I find this a little bit odd because while they just put it into the care package there was also a glitch where the eva8 was still in the care package and the r99 was on the ground floor so people didn't really get to test it out I don't think it's that overpowered for a care package weapon especially when you consider the mosam beak which according to ilot games will not be nerfed in the mid-season patch the MOs beak is arguably actually stronger than any care package weap with the hammer point hopups and interestingly enough this also contradicts yor Suzuki who said that akimbo Mo and Beak is getting nerfed and blood hound is getting a buff although to be fair he did not state when that buff and Nerf was going to happen and this makes sense because well according to other inside sources the mosan beak is going to be receiving a season 23 reactive battle pass skin meaning they're probably not going to Nerf it until they go ahead and actually sell that battle pass to make as much money as possible now there was a couple of other interesting things in the Buffs and Nerfs one is that the fuse ult highlight is actually going to be removed this takes a huge chunk out of what made fuse so valuable in algs and other scenes they're also going to do some bug fixes with it as well the craziest one that I actually saw is the fact that revenant ultimate is going to be nerfed this actually does make sense rence Reborns ultimate gives you a ton of ability to tank damage which I guess is the purpose of the character but it will be interesting to see how they tune it and make it a little bit more reasonable lastly Valk is actually returning to Recon now a lot of people are like wait why she's an assault class well originally she was actually Recon and it makes sense because in her ultimate she can go ahead and scan enemies the only thing that makes her somewhat of an assault Legend is the fact that she has missile swarm but overall this is a way to give her that Recon ads sight that makes her just a little bit more viable in fights now all that being said these aren't official patch notes we are going to have to wait till we actually get them in about a week or so when they drop that being said there's a bunch of stuff we already know such as split 2 is going to feature a brand new battle pass you will not be able to do the current one in the second split so you have about 2 weeks to finish up to level 60 to get all the rewards in the current one next split will actually have once again a p2020 as the reactive reward it's just going to be a recolor of it interestingly enough they're also going to do a recolor of the Peacekeeper one turning to custard which is already in the game as well for this split I'm not a huge fan of the second split just being recolors of the first split skins but I guess you know whatever they're going to do along with that Krypto is rumored to be getting a battle pass skin this makes sense he's jumped up in the pick rate and he's one of the number one picked players in the algs if not the number one picked player they're probably going to milk as many skins as they can for him well he is still in a state of everyone wanting to play him in Pros using him exclusively right around this time of September 17th we are going to be getting the new Mania Stone event in Apex Legends as well and it will feature 48 unique skins from what I remember there's a bunch of legendary this is a milestone one meaning that you are going to have to gamble you cannot buy the skins that you want outright nor do we know what the heirloom is likely to be it could be the Pathfinder Prestige skin or it could be the universal kurit which was leaked a while ago as well overall this is the basic gist of what we can be expecting with Buffs and Nerfs although things like I said can always change along with the battle pass getting a rework as well also along with that Milestone event we are going to be getting a brand new LTM now un for a lot of players especially in the recent Dev AMA were asking where is Duos is Duos ever going to return well sadly it is not in the files it was supposed to come back actually this recent Tuesday however they decided to go with Revival instead they have not given any explanation on it but yes like I said Duos is not going to be returning instead it will be a new LTM called knockout and the way that it basically works is there's going to be various capture points that will appear on the map and it's your job to fight for control over these points you get points by not just capturing the spots but also from wiping out other squads and the big change is at the end of each round the bottom five teams on the leaderboard actually get knocked out so if you don't pull your weight you and your squad get knocked out however you will have infinite respawns so you can always jump back into the action this does look like it will be a battle royale Style game so it will be Battle Royale with infinite respawns and just the weakest teams get eliminated after each round it could be very interesting and I'm interested to see in how it is received by the community especially as Duos once again like I said it's not coming back anytime soon let me know down below what are your guys' thoughts so far on the first split do you think the second split will be good and
