too fantasy points.com so now let's get to Derek Carr it quite the week uh understand that moving forward we will have four teams on a Buy in week 11 uh the Falcons the Saints Patriots and the Colts all on to buy so we don't really necessarily have to worry about those guys in particular but what we do have is guys from those teams that were injured so we'll start with Derek Carr Derek Carr has a right shoulder SL concussion issue and the right shoulder we assume is a reinjury from the previous AC sprain that doesn't always mean um that the hit that he took is going to reagg gravate that same shoulder but we assume we're going to make that assumption and because raport has already said that this doesn't seem to be a significant inury a significant serious issue we can probably assume that he's going to be back after the buy what I will say is that concussion will also probably clear but what I will say is that these reinjuries do get to be a tad bit messy this is just an example it's a very different situation totally different situation but I've seen this happen over the years where when an injury is a reinjury things go to tend to go a little more Haywire so for example in 2023 Cooper Cup's hamstring issue the one that sat him out for five weeks that was a reinjury again totally different situation just want to give you an example so why not stash jamus Winston and two quarterbacks super Flex leagues I am because that'd be a lot more fun for Chris deshun Watson reportedly going to undergo an Deshun Watson MRI today or did undergo an MRI what he looked to sustain was a high ankle spring and it was really a more of an eever ankle sprain which means his foot wasn't completely planted and that inward motion really just strained the inside of the of the ankle that is a really really strong ligament on the inside of the ankle it doesn't mean that other ligaments weren't potentially involved but the main one is really strong so we hope that this isn't necessarily a big issue that happened at the end of the first half he did finish the um the first the the rest of the game and I'm pretty sure on that same Drive he's the one who ran it in for a score correct me if I'm wrong but I'm relatively certain so he was in a walking boot usually that's just precautionary so don't get too worked up about that just yet but I do think that this could end up being a blip on the radar for deshun Watson of course this is being recorded Monday night before the Monday night game before any other news comes out so really there's no move to make just sit Pat sit tight on to Sea Watson so we have another guy here Taylor heiki let's just real quick say it was hamstring strain he's got a bye they're probably going to go back to Desmond Ritter you don't really need to know more about Taylor haniki as it is anyway so don't be too concerned about it but yeah he'll probably be able to come back after the by most quarterbacks usually do Keenan Allen landed hard on his left shoulder usually that implies an AC sprain an AC joint sprain and or a clavical issue he has had a a a shoulder issue in the past um it was a pretty bad clavical fracture if I'm remembering correctly but that was years ago we're talking years ago he finished the game and he scored a touchdowns I don't anticipate they're going to necessarily sit him out but there is a worst case scenario here and the worst case scenario is that this is a hairline fracture the same type that Debo Samuel had that sat him out several weeks that is the worst case scenario I don't imagine that's the case for Keenan Allen but I do think that he's going to be less than 100% basically for the next few weeks right and Devonte Adams had this essentially exact same injury earlier this year in week four week five he did not look too hot so we'll see what happens with Kenan Allen Keenan Allen's a dog obviously you can't necessarily downgrade him uh but this is something to monitor for Keenan Allen next guy you have here is another Michael Thomas wide receiv Receiver Michael Thomas um I know that I talked to I talked about the Saints having a bye but I did want to mention very briefly he actually was injured on the second play um that he was targeted early in the first quarter so he had two plays where he was targeted two plays in a row the second play is when he ran off he looked to land on the left knee um and that implicates typically a PCL type issue and Dennis Allen did come out and say that even though it's not season ending it is um the words that he used were significant or something like that so it is a sign significant injury I don't expect Michael Thomas to be back in the near future even after the buy he could be out several weeks here Baker Mayfield confirmed his thumb not a big deal so don't worry there and then lastly Alexander Madison not a lot you can do here except watch they went the Vikings already went out and signed Monday morning another running back so this is the time for you to go grab Tai Chandler Madison did have a concussion in 2020 but theoretically he doesn't necessarily have to worry about that that won't necessarily impact his availability at least we don't think based on the science that after a couple of years uh guys can return at least somewhat to Baseline so that's what we have on Alexander Madison it's a watch and see game but Tai Chandler is worth a pickup guys that are probably going to come back this week Devon Anan fun Matthew Stafford fun for puka and Cooper cup Justin Jefferson totally DVD uh TVD not DVD TBD uh Pat futh is eligible to come
