hi everybody happy Tuesday to you thanks for joining us here on our YouTube channel I'm senior meteorologist Matt Wiz we have a weather impact alert day today for the heat you're already feeling it outside and we've got that combination of heat and humidity it's going to be worse between noon and 8:00 we've got heat and diseas this afternoon up near 100° make sure you're keeping yourself hydrated take care of yourself and your body take care of others as well and pets as well if they if you have access to AC today that's just a place to be air conditioning if you don't have AC libraries are a great place as as well all right here's your heat index forecast up into the upper 90s this afternoon near 100° in terms of storm chances we had some storms this morning across areas of Michigan brought some high clouds through uh we're going to clear things out as we go throughout the day and heat on up but as we get into the overnight hours this is when our risk starts to kind of get a little higher for more storms in fact there's going to be an area of energy coming across Michigan through over the course of the day today and once that interacts with the leftover boundary we're expecting storms to develop pretty rap rapidly overnight tonight this isn't guaranteed it never is in this pattern is super tricky but the potential is there for some explosive thunderstorm development 11: midnight 1 2 3:00 in the morning this would have a lot of lightning and heavy rain with it maybe some damaging wind gusts as well uh this is something that would wake you up as you're sleeping so keep that in mind might want to keep the cell phone charged and a way to get alerts and notice how it's still with us tomorrow morning for that Rush Hour everything should clear out for a period during the daytime tomorrow won't be quite as hot we'll make it into the mid 80 0s for highs still sticky though it'll still be really humid around here and then we'd have that risk for more storms developing later in the day as it looks right now again very changeable forecast that's what we're eyeing guards taking on the Royals this game is on WKYC you can watch it uh starting 640 I think his first pitch and it's going to be a hot night at the Ballpark guards up by one game for first place so they need that win tonight against the second place Royals Long Ranger forecast let's walk you through your Labor Day weekend we've got frontal boundary still stalled or somewhere in the Ohio Valley really over the next 4 days so that brings us daily storm chances all the way through Friday there's going to be a lot of dry hours in between but the chance for rain and storms is still there by Friday front goes by Saturday morning we may have a straight shower or two as the front continues to push on out otherwise Saturday we go full on Sunshine in the afternoon becoming more comfortable hour by hour by Sunday we bring in some high clouds as another front comes in this may bring some showers to the area late Sunday and early Monday for Labor Day itself but behind that front it gets really comfortable around here we go from tropical down to the comfortable category by Sunday and Monday and take a look at temperatures as well your Union Home Mortgage 7-day forecast our hottest days today we're still hot and steamy but not quite as hot over the next couple days Friday will be another hot day as the cold front comes in and we heat up out ahead of that I've got us in the 90s once again and then by the weekend it'll still be a little humid and still on the warmer side but we should dry out for most of the day Saturday Sunday looks good as well and then labor day itself that secondary front goes through and as of right now it looks to bring us a very dry cool almost fall-like air mask again we may not get out of the 60s on Labor Day to unofficially end summer kind of backwards the way it goes but Mother Nature never works that way all right we've got a very important update you'll get the latest model runs on tonight's storm chance it's an important one coming your way on TV side at 4:00 have a great day stay cool everybody we'll see you then
