The Stolen – Bluey $1 Circulation Coin – Keepy Uppy Balloon from the Royal Australia Mint

Intro [Music] hey coin collectors Dan collecting man here today I've got something pretty special and very cool very early to get this is the fourth Bluey coin that's going to be released into circulation NEW Bluey $1 Circulation Coin coming out soon we're not sure exactly when it's going to come out but people have been able to get early access to this coin and I was lucky enough uh to purchase it yes I did have pay a little bit of Premium to get the coin but I thought let's go through this coin and all the other coins that are going to be set to be released soon so I've got a bit of information around all the other coins so this is obviously the $1 Bluey coin so it's got blue himself on there it's a Bluey dollar bucks as we can see here playing with balloon so this episode is called keepy upy so that's the episode where the intent of the game is to keep the balloon from touching the ground so uh definitely a very classic Bluey episode it was from season 1 episode 3 so the third episode that ever released from Blue and it's definitely a classic uh one so this they are set to be released these coins in September this year uh but you can see them on eBay already so looking at them at the moment you're looking around $150 OD for this bag of 20 so definitely like I said for me $150 I think these are only going to increase in value once more and more people are aware of the actual coins themselves so definitely pretty cool and unique and you're looking individually for around $15 to $20 for the coin themselves that's what people are currently paying for them on now on eBay early release so if you get onto eBay and have a look for these coins you'll definitely find them one Coloured 3 coin set thing also look through is the actual value of these sets so they've definitely calm down when it comes to price so you're now looking at around $250 for these sets that have uh dropped in value a little bit but still way above the retail price initially around $50 OD doll that they retailed at but I think they're definitely a very very good set to have and I think with more and more coins being released more and more people going to look to get the rest of the set so they always going to go back to the colored coins they came out initially so I thought I'd also show you New Circulation Coin V Coloured Coin the colored coin versus this coin as well so you can see where the colored coin is got $1 here Buck we're at the top we've got the $1 Buck at the top with Bluey there so you can see the difference between the Queens on that side uh the quality of the coin on the colored version is a lot better compared to this one here so definitely looks pretty good and then on the other side you can see King Charles uh 2024 you can see they're pretty much the same just the quality on these ones here cuz it is circulated kind of condition uh obviously the quality of these coins Quality of the coin definitely isn't as good and that's one thing I've noticed even to do the thumbnail and to try and get some photos of these coins it's been a lot harder because the quality of these coins um great and there's no official Royal Australia Min coin um pictures or images yet so it's only off people using it off uh eBay photos to get these pictures so that's about as good as quality as we can but I think that's pretty cool definitely together so I think these are definitely going to be something uh Keen to get so if I was you I'd be trying to get these coins cuz I know they're going to be popular I'm not sure how they're going to be released if it's going to be into woolies or any other store or how they plan to release it there is absolutely no information around the release of these coins uh just seeing some eBay post that they say is going to be released in September so we're only in mid July now so it's a long way off from that point but definitely pretty cool to get like I said the I I'm guessing by the numbers of the bags that you can already see on eBay it's going to be well over the million of these uh potentially but if not higher who knows but there is 10 different designs of these coins going to be actually made so I'll go through that in a second but it's also the silver design is going to be like this so having a look at the legislation uh it looks like the silver coin that's set to be released is also going to be based off this design so I'm not sure how big when it's going to be released if it's a proof or not proof version I'm not 100% sure on that but I think it's definitely going to be pretty cool to have a look at that um and go Keepy Uppy World Record through that also to know is not long ago in the 2nd of June there was a world record attempt for K up in Queensland so they had an attempt for uh the most games of K UPI played across Victoria obviously based out of Queensland I think the record attempt was successful so all across Queensland and even in potentially all the way down to Victoria those was games of K YY being played with thousands and thousands of people there's also said to be Bluey weld being made in Queensland as well so look out for that and one thing I try to do is watch this episode of keepy upy and it was interesting to note that it was taking off a lot of the channels and you had to pay to actually watch this one specific episode which I found would be disappointing I have G Apple TV to end up watching it cuz it was uh not able to easily obtain uh just through the normal um kids ABC or anything else so for whatever reason I if it's because of the world record attempt or any other reason they've taken it off the free to a uh channels and you have to end up paying to get uh that actual episode three of season 1 so having a look at this Look at what's coming next legislation so this is what we're looking through this is what goes through government when new coins are made so you can see this was submitted on the 29th of April and it goes through all the different Bluey coins I won't I'll go through the key pages and show you what we're actually looking for so here where we have the silver one so this has at least 99% silver it's a $1 coin so it means it probably most likely would be an oun of silver if it's a $1 coin or if not it might be a bit small I'm not sure exactly how they're going to do that um but you can see the ones highlighted here on in yellow are the ones that have already been released these are the colored ones so has it has it as it has here in color uh and it's got what's going on within the coins and and then we go into the orange ones these are the ones that they set to be released so as you can see this coin here that I've got here is the very first one that's here where it's got Bluey uh Bluey keepy upy episode and it's got a a Bluey playing with a balloon which is from season one episode three then the next one we got Bingo uh looking at the side with the arms raised from the same season of K upy from the same episode from 2018 and going through some of the other coins that are going to be set to be released we've got uh Bandit Bingo chili and Bluey uh Bluey being held up in their arms we've also got uh Scots and muffin muffin has her arms wrapped around Scots the next one rad and frisky sitting down looking towards each other uh that's a double babysitter episode so where it's got a specific episode it actually lists it on here uh Nan Uncle straps and txy uh standing together where Uncle strips has his arms around both Nan and Trixie uh Indigo Bluey Chloe and Rusty standing together with their arms around each other while Indigo and Chloe are looking towards blue and then the next couple we got uh Chloe Coco McKenzie Bluey Udo and Lily uh and bingo standing and sitting together you got Bandit and Chile dancing uh so that's from the work episode and then the last one here we got jenet playing blue and Rita playing bingo that's where they from the Granny's episode uh performing a dance move called The Floss so that's a bit of a fun one and as you can see here these are the special numbers that relate to all the different coins so it does mean that there is My thoughts on the coins counting at least 10 coins of these coming which is going to be pretty exciting and something uh pretty cool to get I'll be very interesting to see how they actually going to release these into the market if it's going to be through woolies if it's going to be one of those maybe a container of 10 coins like you get out of the strain post and you can get those I'm not sure but the fact that we can already get them off eBay shows that there may be other ways that are going be um collected now I did try contact the people selling on eBay especially the people that sold it to me and they weren't willing to share how they got the coins early which is I can totally understand that because there's obviously uh some things at play and they don't want to give away their information of how they're able to obtain the coins earlier but that's fine but I still nonetheless think they are pretty cool coins to collect and I think if you can get all 10 uh it'll be cool but obviously getting uh 10 of these at 150 bucks each is going to end up costing you a fair bit of cash uh in the long term so I'm not sure if I'll be getting bags of them but I'll definitely be getting the individuals and try and getting them in this really good uncirculated condition this is about as good as you're going to get all those marks and scuffs on there from the actual manufacturing of the coin uh unfortunately when they Chuck them all in the big Drums of coins the coins do end up bouncing against each other so they can damage the coins so if you like Outro this video and you like
