ramsdale onto their squad that is done that is dusted uh fabrio Romano says here we go um Arsenal agreed a deal for 20 to 25 million and a few people are not really happy I mean to be honest it is €8 million EUR which will be rising up to 25 million EUR and um you know he's going to be going there on a permanent deal Arsenal feel it was a very good deal now personally I think arsena should have sold Aron ramsdale last summer not this summer and the reasons for that for that is that last season he had a very very poor campaign he didn't play football um and the two games that he actually came in um if you remember brenford away and brenford at home he actually didn't put in good displays he wasn't the goalkeeper that we thought um you know would would be a very good second CH goalkeeper and I remember explaining that when we had signed Red David dryer and I said ramsdale is a goalkeeper that works on confidence he's a goalkeeper that works on Rhythm the moment you drop him the moment he's not feel feeling wanted and happy you're not going to get the best out of him and Mel ATA listen he thought he would have two goalkeepers swap them around U you know play one against Man City and then play one against Liverpool that works when you have a goalkeeper like OA and then ederson or steel and Van buan but with Ramel and Ry these two goalkeepers are very dissimilar they're very very different so um I never saw Rams there really stand a chance of staying at Arsenal this summer now um 18 million EUR a few people have said it is not good money is it good money really no but Arsenal are getting back what um they invested the the condition is that if the player does well the deal will rise up to €25 million EUR but also the condition is that if they don't get relegated Southampton Arsenal will get an extra 1 million so we are getting €18 million plus 1 million if Southampton don't get relegated I'll tell you um they will get relegated this is this is coming from me they will get relegated they've already lost two of their opening games and they don't strike me as a side that is going to pick up points at any of the away grounds this campaign and listen I'm going to make this prediction Southampton will not win any game away from home this campaign like they just don't strike me with any kind of U you know confidence I think ramsdale will go down and I won't be surprised for to go down with Southampton and then at some point in time another club buys him from Southampton and that club is in the premil age now it's a good deal for Arsenal we're getting our money back um and you know no losses recorded it's a good deal for Southampton they're getting a very very decent goalkeeper they're getting a goalkeeper they can actually trust but it's a bad deal for ramale it's a very bad deal for a player who had actually um risen through the ranks bour mouth Sheffield United um and then Arsenal and then at some point in time uh you feel like your career has really started taking ship you're playing UFA Champions football you're playing for one of the biggest teams in in the Prem and then you go back to the championship you go back to a team that is uh relegation threatened I I really really don't understand also why I think that the1 18 million EUR could have been more is this if Arsenal had agreed a deal with Southampton for him to go on loan without a buy option I think it would have been much better why because next summer we would have the power to negotiate for a much better deal I would say um if Ramer goes to Southampton Southampton will face a lot of shots this campaign we could have got 25 million EUR from this guy fixed 25 million EUR and then a few addons and that could take the deal up to um you know 30 35 million EUR next summer but um that that has not happened as have decided to sell right now and that is done and dusted now um in response to Rams the leaving Arsenal have sent in an offer to Espanol that offer is 20 million EUR um for Jean gasa espano are rejecting the offer they're saying they want the release close of the player triggered and that is25 million it's around 25 million um close to 30 million EUR Arsenal are still contemplating I've seen a few off a few Outlets saying that um Arsenal are really sure that they can meet the valuation of the player and then a few Outlets are saying Arsenal want to do the deal between 20 to 25 million but also a wor interesting is that um arsa thought this would be a formality this would be an easy deal but it's not going to be an easy deal as espanol don't want to lose the goalkeeper so unless we trigger the release Clause of the goalkeeper of the player we might actually not get him it's not going to be um a formality but either way it's going to happen I think we'll get jean gcia I think we'll pay uh maybe 30 million maybe 25 million EUR um and we'll get him and my question with this one is what exactly are we trying to achieve by doing this why are we trying to uh you know get rid of ramsdale for like 20 million EUR 25 million EUR and then getting a new goalkeeper for around €25 million EUR now of course I understand that when you're Micha and you're playing the kind of football that we are playing it is um it it is a rule number one that you must have a b playing goalkeeper it's rule number one that you must have a goalkeeper on the bench that is as good at you know with his feet as the goalkeeper who's starting but it doesn't make a lot of sense for me for us to spend €25 million EUR um on a new GK who's going to barely play any minutes unless mikat is serious about rotating goalkeepers um and it was just a mistake probably that um last season we didn't see a lot of rotation but if that is not the case I'm thinking we are going to see Ram we're going to see Rya um 90% of the time then 10% of the time it's going to be uh Jean gasa why spend 25 million EUR on this guy and also um Arsenal a little bit funny we knew that we were losing ramsdale and there was no question about that he was always going to go that was okay but why are why why did we wait until the last 48 hours for us to bring in a new uh goalkeeper this makes it very difficult for espano this makes it very difficult for Arsenal for espanol it's about how do you replace the guy how do you replace your number one um what are you going to do within the very limited period of time that you've been given to replace your goalkeeper and hence many of the teams already say we are not going to sell this summer we'll work on selling next summer um for Arsenal you've I mean for us we're not affected because he comes in as a second choice goalkeeper and he could be here for for for as long as 10 months without playing a single game but it makes negotiations difficult and it makes deals very expensive that is why we have brought in a guy on his last year in you know on his deal at 37 million EUR that is M Marino at37 million that tells you that if you do this deal earlier if you do do the deal ier you're getting a much better discount you're getting a much better deal but we we we definitely didn't choose the much better deal anyway Jan Garcia 25 million is what they want at um espano otherwise Arsenal are going to face it very very rough um in terms of the third choice goalkeeper Arsenal are still working on some Pico as um they believe they cannot sign a 30-y old goalkeeper for 1 million and that is Dan Bentley now I'm very confused I'm very very confused Arsenal don't want to spend 1 million on a 30-y old goalkeeper who would be third choice and would be at Aral for like 5 years or four years but we want to spend about 25 million on a second choice go keep it's um it's confusing it's really really confusing but we're working on some Pico is going to be more expensive by the way than um than um than that benty he'll be very very expensive um as compared to Dan Bentley probably U will pay him pay Wigan maybe 1.5 million maybe 2 million but he comes in as the thir goke keeper and I'll give you an update on that one a little bit later on now on the forward line Arsenal are working on the Ivan Tony deal but most importantly according to uh um s MBO we're working on the Kingsley command Del so with aent son it has been reported today that Arsenal planning a shock L transfer for Avent the ghas have been waiting in the wings during Chelsea's passit and now are ready to launch um a bat Chelsea today have sold Roman Lukaku that could be I mean that could change the dimension of the deal that could change the way the way Chelsea approach the market they have some money 25 million for for for uh Roman Lukaku but of course they want Ivan Tony now for me Kingsley comman Ivan Tony those are the two and we've got to choose one where do we go I think both of them are very delicate areas I've seen um the athletic writing that Arsenal are looking at their Midfield as a as as as as a place to address in the future the the forward line is a place as well is a position that we should address in the future but also right now and the reason that's why I'm saying we should address it right now is that I I'm looking at this team and I'm like the left Wing yes TR sces goes but the left wing doesn't really have a Winger we don't have a Winger that we can say uh this is our doku this is our Saka on the left wing so Kingsly common becomes important in that aspect but then Ivan Tony at the moment comes in as a striker solution to Cs and gabri Jesus who we both know are not that clinical so he's important in that regard which one do I choose um which one do I would I choose this is what I'm going to say at the moment I don't think Kai hars is going to be dropped by Mikel ateta I think Mikel is still trying to prove a point that Kai havs is still good he's still that good so what we should do go and get Kingsley common because with Kingsley comman he would come in in an area R of the pitch where Arsenal are open to upgrading we are open to upgrading on Trot and we are open to upgrading on matelli and if matelli comes in the third game against Brighton and it doesn't give us a good performance that is all the justification the manager will need to play Kingsley comman or start leand Trad in the same game but of course that forward line just feels shallow guys do you feel it too do you feel that this team uh is shallow um in the forward line for example if I took off Martinelli and I BR on trust and I take off Saka I don't have a trusted player I can bring on if I take off KZ because he has failed to meet um you know to hit the target he's getting chances but he's missing the target gabri Jus cannot come in as um as a correction he's not a correction to Kai havas's lack of clinical um abilities he's actually the same as kav so in that line this is what I'm going to say bringing bringing bringing Kingsley Comm can play on the right wing can play on the left wing as well a backup for Saka a backup for uh martinell he can start games as well of course he's a little bit older brings in that experience but um I think Kings Le comman would even be the easier deal because Arsenal can get to can get to do it uh on a loan basis maybe plus an obligation to buy in the summer or a loan basis plus an option to buy so we're working we're looking at those two of course Chelsea are there um on Ian tney are they seriously going to sign him maybe yes maybe no they have the money right now from the sell of Rome Lukaku uh I've seen that we have to sell again in order for us to buy I I don't think we should because it's ridiculous actually um if we are going to take all the money we're getting from the sale of ramsdale and reinvested in Jean gcia then we have me a sell honestly uh
