YOU SEE CLOUDS STARTING TO INCREASE THAT'S AHEAD OF OUR WEATHER SYSTEM THAT WILL BE HERE IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. BEFORE WE GET THERE, LET'S START WITH THE HEAT PART OF THE STORY. AND THERE'S NOT MUCH RELIEF DOWN THE SHORE. THESE ARE THE ACTUAL AIR TEMPERATURES HERE. YOU GO AT LITTLE BIT LBI AT 79 MUCH THAT'S NICE, RIGHT. BUT ATLANTIC CITY INTO THE MID 80S. CAPE MAY 88 BUT IT FEELS HOTTER THAN THAT BECAUSE OF THE HUMIDITY. NOW YOU WORK INLAND, MILLVILLE, VINELAND AT 91 DEGREES. DOVER HOW ABOUT 95 DEGREES RIGHT NOW. WILMINGTON AT 91. IN PHILADELPHIA WE ARE IN THOSE MID 90S SAME THING WITH YOU FOLK AROUND PEMBERTON. BACK TO THE WEST WE GOT ALLENTOWN THE 90S EVEN MOUNT POCONO HANGING OUT THERE WITH THAT TEMPERATURE STARTING WITH AN EIGHT. SO LET'S GET TO THE STORM RISK. OKAY. TEMPERATURES ARE ON THEIR WAY DOWN NOW THAT THE SUN IS GETTING CLOSER TO SET HEMOGLOBIN WILL BE ABOUT 7:45 OR SO. NOW WE'RE LOOKING AT THE STORM RISKS OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF HOURS SOME STORMS HAVE DEVELOPED. AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE MAP UP NEAR WILLIAMSPORT RIGHT -- BASICALLY NORTH OF THE TURNPIKE HERE IN PENNSYLVANIA AND THESE WILL START DROPPING ON DOWN. LET ME SHOW YOU. HERE'S WHERE IT IS NOW. YOU FOLKS AROUND THE POCONOS STARTING TO SEE A FEW SHOWERS. HERE'S OUR FUTURE CAST. DOING A REALLY GOOD JOB HERE. NOW AS WE GO THROUGH THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS I WANT TO WALK YOU THROUGH LITERALLY HOUR BY HOUR. SO IT'S 6:00 15 NOW ESSENTIALLILY. WOE WORK INTO 7:00 O'CLOCK. WE'LL SEE THESE STORMS DEVELOP OVER THE POCONOS START WORKING IN MAYBE SECTIONS OF LEHIGH AND NORTHAMPTON COUNTY. CERTAINLY BY 8:00 O'CLOCK. THAT'S WHERE WE'RE GOING TO HAVE THESE SHOWERS AND STORMS ROLLING ACROSS THE REGION. LET'S SAY AROUND THE 9:00 O'CLOCK HOUR FOR THE I-95 CORRIDOR. AND WHAT WE'RE ANTICIPATING NOW THAT THESE STORMS HAVE DEVELOPED, THAT THEY WILL KIND OF TRIGGER MORE STORM ACTIVITY AMONGST THEMSELVES THEY'LL BE PUTTING DOWN WIND THAT. WIND WILL MEET THE HUMID AIR AND RISE UP AND WILL CONTINUE THIS PROCESS INTO THE EVENING HOURS. MUCH MORE ACTIVITY IN TWO HOURS FROM NOW THAN THERE IS CURRENTLY. LOOK AT 10:00 O'CLOCK. WE'RE TRACKING THESE SHOWERS AND STORMS. 11:00 EVEN INTO MIDNIGHT AND SLIGHTLY BEYOND WHERE WE COULD BE DEALING WITH SHOWERS AND STORMS AROUND THE AREA. LATER THIS EVENING, WE GET PASSED 1:00, 22:00 O'CLOCK THE MORNING THE FRONT HAS ROLLED THROUGH. CONDITIONS WILL DROP ON DOWN. TOMORROW WILL BE A NOTICEABLY COOLER DAY AND THEN TOMORROW WE'LL CALL IT A MOSTLY CLOUDY DAY. MAYBE A STRAY SHOWER HERE AND THERE BUT DEFINITELY NOT A STORMY DAY BY ANY MEANS. NOR IS IT GOING TO BE A HOT SUMMER DAY LIKE WE HAD OUT THERE TODAY WHICH SOME OF YOU I KNOW LIKE THAT VERY MUCH. OUR THREATS TONIGHT MODERATE THREAT FOR SOME FLOODS IN SPOTS BUT THE HIGHEST RISK IS GOING TO BE STRONG WINDS ALONG WITH THESE STORMS. HAIL IS THERE. CALL A TWO OUT OF FOUR. MODERATE RISK AND THE TORNADO RISK IS LOW. WHENEVER WE'RE DEALING WITH SEVERE STORMS WE NEVER SAY IT'S ZERO FOR ANYTHING. SO WE WANT TO YOU STAY WEATHER ALERT AND OF COURSE IF THERE ARE ANY WARNINGS WE'LL UPDATE YOU JUMP ON IN. WE HAVE 93 HERE AT 6:00 O'CLOCK. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT STORMS GENERALLY SPEAKING FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO. CERTAINLY AROUND THE PHYSICAL AREA. LATER THIS EVENING, IS WHEN WE'LL BE TRACKING THESE WORKING INTO OUR REGION AND ONCE THEY OCCUR, TEMPERATURES WILL DROP DOWN VERY RAPIDLY BECAUSE THAT RAIN COOLED AIR IS GOING TO HAVE A PRETTY LARGE IMPACT IN OUR REGION. SO WHEN WE LOOK AT OUR SEVEN-DAY FORECAST PUT IT ALTOGETHER. WE ARE NOT ON WEATHER ALERT. IN FACT I DON'T SEE ANY WEATHER ALERT DAYS OTHER THAN TODAY. WE'LL SAY 82 TOMORROW. WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY SKY. A STRAY SHOWER OR TWO. FRIDAY, AS THAT COOLER AIR CONTINUES TO FILTER ON IN, ONLY IN THE 70S. WE GET INTO OUR LABOR DAY WEEKEND, HERE'S THE DEAL. IT'S UNSETTLED. I SEE A GREATER CHANCE OF SHOWERS ON SATURDAY BUT MORE KIND OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS A COLD FRONT COMES THROUGH NOT A WASH OUT DAY BY ANY MEANS. SUNDAY EARLY SHOWERS. STARTING TO TAPER OFF LATER IN THE DAY. AND THEN MONDAY LOOKING DRY RIGHT AROUND 80 DEGREES. PLENTY OF DRY TIME THIS WEEKEND. IT'S JUST NOT DRY THE ENTIRE WEEKEND IF THAT MAKES SENSE.
