so it was in the air I was like let me get under this and try to go make a play and you knew your job no matter what was just try to bring it all the way back 100% I it was the end of the quarter um coach said sell the fake and then come back to the wall I did exactly what he said and the team set it up perfectly waiting for me to get back that way and then just trying to run around and make something happen so have you not even practiced that return uh we practiced this like probably like two or three times we've been focused on really base stuff and like we wasn't really planning for that but luckily we got like two times in so I was prepared a little bit for it did you see the number yet how long your return was no I did not I've not SE 106 106 geez I feel like it that's what I about to say going sideways made it feel like an extra 60 yards cuz I got to that 50 yard line I was like my legs are gone well I mean exciting play but disappointing that it wasn't 109 oh 100% I'm disappointed the coach said too like it's the end of the half no matter what get it in don't don't get tackled with the ball and what did I do I got freaking tackled with the ball and I let the guys down I should have pitched it to the homeboy that was right there let him walk it in for me but hopefully next time if I get another op I'll make it happen you getting a text messages from from po yet um I I've seen I've seen the family GM going off right now haven't got to PE I need to go shower real quick so I'm I'm G to get on the FaceTime with everybody and see what everyone's talking about what do you think he's going to say they're probably going to tell me I am the slower brother and I'm going to be sick because I know I'm faster than puka what was the reaction like from the teammates like the sideline was going crazy going crazy literally like when I broke to our sideline and broke across I could really hear them and I could like I could feel the energy of them just jumping up and screaming and that like even though my legs were tired I was like oh I feel the boy's energy I got to keep going I got to keep so it was awesome to have the boys pumped up for me it was cool we talked all the time about these preseason games are like you can do one thing that can just like change people's I mean to get an opportunity and do something like that you know in a game like this when you don't know how many snaps you're going to get how gratifying is that oh it's uh it's the best feeling ever like how you said you don't know how many snaps you're ever again and you don't know what opportunity is going to come your way so the best thing to do is be prepared for these opportunities and when it does go make it happen were you surprised to go just were you surprised to go in there like at the end like a little bit a little bit Co cuz I was like 40 like 45 I don't know how deep he kicked about I was like that looks like a normal kick for like NFL kickers I was like why is coach sending me in there and he's like he's not going to do it and I was like all right let's see it and then that first one how I said barely went in and I was like already in my second my thought process I was like there's no way the second one's going in I was like I know it's coming to me so it just about being ready have you watched a replay of it yet no I have no media I only got Facebook really so like yeah Facebook's only for family interaction so really I'm not seeing nothing hopefully my family like shows sends a clip of it that' be dope to see probably a sport center I think it the Saints yeah when I get to the hotel I'm going to go go check throw yesp on the the TV and go watch it a little bit enjoy overall how do you feel about your your training camp performance and what you're able to show um I felt like I did uh really good there's still so much um I got to adjust to coming back to into this league and playing with competitors at a high level like this guys are way more physical way more faster plays are a lot harder to pick up so it's about just staying in this Playbook and being ready but uh so far I felt good with being the new guy um I still got a long way to go but I'm excited I know you didn't score did they let you kick the ball no there's no way they're letting me if I didn't score that I I don't want it I feel bad for the guys that were blocking and I didn't reward those guys so I was like I'll give it to those guys before I'll keep it the guy who knocked you out of bounds I did you see him coming at all is it just honestly I was literally like how I was so tired like all I saw was straight ahead like I was like I just got to keep going and hope for the best and my boy said he tried tackle me earlier fell and then ran around and hawked me and I was like oh I'm slow like I'm really slow you glad you did those races that tning out though yeah I'm glad I obviously I got to step it up a little bit more and keep the legs going uh get in with a trainer and keep my freaking rotation moving
