I Tried Shopify Dropshipping For 24H (Realistic Results)

hey guys what's going on welcome back to a new video in this one we're going to be doing a 24-hour Drop Shipping challenge which means we're going to find a product set up a store for it get some ads made run the ads for 24 hours and see the results and hopefully be profitable so that's what we're doing in this video if any of you guys are new make sure to subscribe and follow me on Instagram it's need to do is we need to find a product that we're actually going to be selling and to do that we're going to be using autods for those of you that are new that don't know what autods is autods is an all-in-one Drop Shipping tool which does absolutely everything so they have anything from product research to print on demand you can import products to your store from it you can fulfill your orders through autods Etc they have a bunch of tools but right now we're going to use them for product research so we're going to go over to the adspy tool and this allows you to see ads that are currently active on Facebook and Tik Tok and then we can see what's selling well for others and then we can try to sell it ourselves so we can choose between the Facebook or Tik Tok ads here so let's go to T talk for now and then there's a bunch of filters that you can do as well so we can filter it by the amount of likes it has the call to action button the interaction rate and you can go over to the advanced filters here and then here get a lot more options so you can choose how many shares it has comments when the last comment was which is basically going to show you how active the ad is we can choose by the country so let's see with the United States we can choose when the ads been created so in the past 30 Days 7 days or custom range so let's do the past 30 days and let's CLI apply filters and then here I'm going to scroll and try to find a product that looks good they also have a handpicked product section right here and these are products that they've picked out and you can see a bunch of information about them so if we click on this one we can see the engagement score the potential profit how much is being sold for how many orders it's getting how saturated it is a few different ads for the product different competitors and we can also import the product sa to the store from here just by clicking import draft so this is a really cool section as well but for now we're going to be using the adspy tool and by the way I'll leave a link for autod DS in the description and you're going to get a one month free trial if you sign up through the link so you can test past like 20 minutes and I found this product right here it's this Nam stamp that has a pretty cool design and basically you can just use it to kind of put Nam stamps on different things so this is going to be really good for school now anyone that has kids is probably going to want to have something like this so I think now is a really good time to test this product and as you can see in this ad it's a pretty simple product to film ads for and these guys have a pretty simple video our competitors are selling the product for $24.99 they have a few different design options a few different icons you can choose and then the name or last name that you want to add on the St and their product page actually looks really good so they did a pretty good job with the product page they've got some FAQs at the bottom some reviews as well and a pretty long description so not bad but they are missing a stick at the car button so that's definitely one thing that we can improve on and they found the exact same product on AliExpress for literally like $273 plus $3 shipping so around $6 total and it's had over 4,000 sales 603 reviews and a 4.8 star rating so the ratings are insanely good there's a few different designs we can go for and then like different ink colors as well but we're probably just going to be do doing Black Ink just to keep it simple and yeah the shipping time is also pretty good as well so yeah this is going to be the product that we're going to be testing and now that we have the product the next thing that we're going to need to do is we're going to need to set up a store for it so to do that we're going to be using my free AI tool which I'll leave a link for in the description if you guys want to use it as well and this tool basically sets up your store entirely in less than 5 minutes and it's extremely simple you just need to follow the steps and it's completely free as well so all I'm going to do is just click on build my free store right here then fill out my info here and just follow the steps that the software gives me I actually filmed a tutorial on this so I'm not going to we're going through the process in this video you can go and watch that video if you want I'll leave a link for that in the description as well and this is going to take about 5 minutes so I'll be back to you guys once I'm done and we'll go over the store so see you guys soon all right and this is how the store turned out so as you guys can see it's very simple this is the homepage and I'm going to need to make some updates to it which I'm probably going to do tomorrow I'll need to add the logo and change up the colors a bit but other than that the store is pretty much good to go and now that we have the store the last thing that we need to do is we need to get some ads and to do that we're going to be using launch ads if you guys don't know launch ads is a service that just makes ads for you so you just pay them and they make the ads for you so we're going to be going for the Tik Tok split testing package which is going to give us one ad with three different variations which is really important because the more ads you test with the higher the finished ordering the ads and I've just finished ordering the ads so now we're going to need to wait to receive them which is going to take about 24 hours so that's going to be it for me for now and I will see you guys tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow all right guys so it's been about 2 days since you last saw me and we're back and they made some changes to the store we got the ads delivered and now we're ready to launch the ads so let me show you guys the store then we'll go over the ads and then we launch the campaign so let's get into my computer all right so this is how the hom page is looking at the moment I've added a logo which I think looks pretty nice I came up with the name mini stamps we still have some products in here which I'll have to remove and I need to import the product we're going to be selling but we're going to do that right now this is just the layout of the store and this is how the as from launch has turned out I'll have them playing on the screen so you guys can see they're going to be a bit sped up so you guys don't have to watch the entire thing but overall I'm very happy with how the ads turned out we have three different videos that we're going to be testing and we're going to be seeing whichever one's going to perform the best so that's it for the ads and before we launch them we need to make a product page for our product so to do that we're going to be using page pilot which is an AI store Builder that completely changes the game when it comes to product descriptions I've been using this to build all my product pages in the past few months it's one of the best apps that I've seen in a really long time and now I'm going to make a product page with it and show you guys how to use it so the first thing we need to do is we need to connect to store so to do that we're going to go to our dashboard and click connect then we need to paste our URL to the store here so we're going to go back to the store we're going to copy the link and we're going to go back here and paste it in and once we have the URL we need the Shopify key as well so to get that we're going to go back to our Shopify store we're going to click on the settings go into Apps and sales channels click on develop apps right here in the top click allow custom app development allow it then click create an app name the app page pilot click create app then click on configure admin API Scopes then type in products and check these two boxes right here then type in teams and check these two boxes and then click save and once we're done with that we're just going to click install app click install then we're going to get our admin API token we're going to click reveal token once we're going to copy it and then just paste it in here and then click connect store and that's it so our store is now connected so now we're going to go to the dashboard and then click generate and now we're going to go to AliExpress and just copy the link go back here paste it in set the language to English if you want to do other languages you can do that too and we're going to click generate and now it's going to take like 20 seconds to build a product page and it's done it literally took around 20 seconds and this is what the product page looks like and this looks so much better than anything that I would make if I wanted to make anything similar it would probably take at least half an hour to 2 hours and this was done in 20 seconds so Absol Game Changer of an app I'll leave a link for in the description and you guys can use code marro 20 if you want to use it as well and you'll get 20% off so now to get this product page over to our store we're just going to click on Import in Shopify you can select the store here but since I only have this one on this account that's going to be the only one and then you can either import it into the team template or into the product description in this case because our team doesn't support this we're going to go for the product description and we're going to click on import product and here's how our product page is looking like now so this is the description we have a sticky out the card bar a couple of images you have some related products which I'll just remove right now some more guarantees we also have some reviews here at the top so really good product page and this thow really took a couple of minutes so now that we're done with the product page the last thing that we need to do is we need to launch some ads for it so let's go over to Tik Tok ads and let's launch the campaign and here we are inside of Tik Tok ads so let's go over to website conversions right here let's name the campaign the product name we're not going to touch anything here and we're going to click continue we're going to name the ad group AD group one then we're going to select the pixel right here and for the optimization event we're going to go for complete payment under placements we're going to click select placement and we're going to turn off these two and we're only going to leave on Tik Tok and then under advanced settings right here we're going to turn off commenting because we don't want anyone commenting anything negative and we're going to turn off video downloading because we don't want anyone stealing our ads for the location we're going to do United States we're going to do 18 and up we're going to Target both genders because this is not a gender specific product for the daily budget we're going to set it to $20 a day we're going to schedule the ads to start from tomorrow at midnight 0000 click okay and we're also going to dayart the ads so we're going to click on select specific time and we're going to make them start from 11:00 a.m. to the end of the day and what this is going to do is this is going to make it so our ads are only going to be running during this time right here so none of our budget is going to be being spent during these hours right here while people are going to be sleeping so so this we're going to only be spending money while people are awake and that's going to give us the best value for our money so that's why we're doing this right here we're not going to touch anything else here and we're going to click continue for the ad name we're just going to name it add one there we go I've already made a custom identity for the product right here for the ad text we're going to do something very simple just get it now at 50% off this doesn't really matter that much because most people are just going to be watching the video so for the most part you can put anything you want here it's not going to make or break your campaign then for the call to action we're just going to select shop now we don't need anything else there we go I put the URL straight to the product page so that when people click the ad it's going to take them straight to the product page and the last thing that's left for us to do is to upload the ads so we're going to click on upload so we're going to upload it and just click continue and now we're waiting for it to upload and now we're just going to duplicate the ad we're going to make two copies of it and click copy we're going to rename them to add two and add three as well and I'm just going to add the other two videos and I just finished changing the videos so now we have all three of the creatives in the same campaign and now the only thing that's left for us to do is to publish the campaign so we're going to click on publish all and here's our ad group so it's in review currently and what we're going to do now now is we're going to click on copy right here we're going to make two more copies and we're going to name them add group two and add group three as well and then click copy and we're going to keep everything exactly the same and just click publish all and there we go so now we have three different ad groups they're all in review so hopefully they're going to pass the review and once they do I'll let them run for 24 hours and I'll be back to you guys to show you the results so that's going to be it for today and I will see you guys tomorrow tomorrow all right guys I'm back it's been over 24 hours and we have the results for the product so we're not going to waste any time we're just going to go straight into it and see what happens so let's go over to my screen and let's see how the ads perform all right so as you guys can see here we ended up spending a total of $602 on ads our CPC was 86 which is all right it's not the best but it's not too bad the CPM was 1331 we had 4528 Impressions we had 70 clicks and Tik Tok tracked one sale but as you guys already know Tik Tok tracking is not always 100% accurate so let's go to Shopify and let's see what actually happened and here we are in Shopify so we ended up getting a total of two sales both of which came in the evening and they both just bought one of the products so the total Reven was $49.90 and the conversion rate was 2.56% but let's go to the profit loss sheet and let's see how much money we actually made or lost so we ended up getting a total of two sales we had $49.90 in Revenue $602 in ad cost it cost us $13.63 to fulfill the orders and we had $255 in payment processing fees so our total profit for this challenge was minus $265 so we ended up losing money on day one which is pretty normal and it does happen quite a lot so it didn't perform that bad but we did fail the challenge unfortunately so we were not profitable in the first 24 hours so we're going to end the challenge off
