DWTS Season 33 Predictions, Bad Bunny Joins Happy Gilmore 2, Bills vs. Dolphins TNF Preview

on today's episode we're going to be starting off with some entertainment topics and then moving into the Sports World in the entertainment World we're going to cover some Dancing with the Stars talk as season 33 is set to begin next week going to do a little VMAs preview um this episode comes out on Thursday but I'm recording recording it on Wednesday afternoon so the VMAs haven't occurred yet so I'll be doing a little VMAs preview U then we'll be getting into some Happy Gilmore talk as some new people have been added to Happy Gilmore 2 uh cast and then we're going to move in to the sports world where we'll do a little you know week week one recap on a couple games that stood out to me including the Dolphins uh nail biting victory over the Jaguars and then we will move on and finish off the sports segment with some week two previews including a preview of Thursday Night Football between the Bills and Dolphins live from Hard Rock stadium here in Miami I hope you guys enjoy let's get into it all right guys so first off we're going to start off in the entertainment world with some VMAs stock um I'm recording this as I said in the intro on Wednesday afternoon and the VMAs are tonight so next week I'll be you know doing a little recap as to what occurred in the award show I wanted to give you guys you know a little rundown as to what will be occurring tonight in the VM um so a couple performers I'll name all the performers for you guys so we have Anita Benson bone oh Benson Boon okay yeah I remember he opened up for Taylor Swift in one of the Aros tore shows uh Camila Cabo of course uh chaperon Eminem glorilla howy Jesse murf Carol G Lenny Kravitz Le seraphim Lisa LL Cool J Meg the stallion ra Alejandro Sabrina Carpenter Shawn Mendes and Teddy swims and then I got a little thing here that a couple of the performances will feature some other acts so Anita will be performing with Fat Joe and DJ khed and Lenny kravit will be performing with quo and then now um so the vid video Vanguard award is a an award handed out you know every year to basically a legend right of the music world and this year's recipient will be Katie Perry so that's pretty cool she's you know a ially back in music after some time off so that should be cool to see um Katy Perry at the VMAs receiving that award then some of the presenters tonight will be Addison Ray Alexandra Ambrosio Amelia de molenberg Big Sean Buster Ry Cindy loer Damiano David Donna DJ khed Fat Joe flavor flave French Montana H Holly Bailey Jordan Charles Lil nzx Miranda Lambert Naomi Scott Paris Hilton Sasha Kobe Suki Waterhouse Dalia and Tanashi so yeah just wanted to give a little rundown as you know uh as to who's performing and who's presenting at the VMAs um other than that I for those of you who listened to our our episode last week you know I have a big time prediction for the VMAs tonight um I said it last week but I'll say it again and just in case for those of you who didn't hear um I I believe that Sabrina Carpenter Chapo Ron will be recreating that iconic kiss from all those years ago between Britney Spears and Madonna on the VMA stage and then it's crazy actually yesterday on Tuesday MTV posted like a little you know a teaser little you know video real to get the people excited about the VMAs and um they posted you know some of the the pictures on in terms of where people would be sitting at the VMAs and um it's actually a fact that Sabrina and Shao Ro be sitting next to each other so I thought that was interesting to see and I think it adds on that you know my prediction could very well be coming true tonight I do in fact believe it will be coming true tonight but yeah I hope you guys enjoy the VMAs as I said since I'm recording this in the afternoon the VMAs haven't occurred but stay tuned next week as I'll be giving you a little recap as to what happened at the VMAs so now to move on and stay in the entertainment world so of course Dancing with the Stars season 33 will be premiering next week on ABC um I'm super excited as I talked about in the last episode Dancing with the Stars is one of my favorite shows of all time so I very much you know enjoy uh each episode of the show and I'm just very excited for this new season of course last week I covered the cast announcement everyone who's going to be part of the cast um now I you know I've never done this before for Dancing With the Stars but I'm going to be doing a little pre-season top four predictions as to who I believe will be the final four couples like I said this is a preseason prediction obviously we haven't seen any of these couples dance yet we haven't seen their chemistry we haven't seen anything like that yet so this is a preseason prediction for the final four couples on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars so I have to start you off I have let me get it open I have Stephen and Riley of course Steven the the break dancing Oly Olympian and Riley the the dancing sensation then I have Danny amandola the Super Bowl champion and Whitney Carson the the Dancing with the Stars Champion who's returning to the to the ballroom floor then we have Dwight Howard the NBA champion who's paired up with danela carat who is basically every year in the finals and then the fourth and final couple I have as part of my preseason predictions final four couples of Dancing With the Stars season 33 The Bachelorette Jen Tran and her partner Sasha Farber and by the way shout out to Sasha he followed us on Instagram and I was super excited to see that he's the first pro from dancing with the Stars to follow us and if you haven't follow followed us already make sure to go do that we're on Instagram at the flame cores and if you're on Tik Tock we also go by that same handle the flame fores so once again shout out to Sasha for the fber it was super exciting like I said so yeah and I want to give you a little thing I never actually looked into this I never knew there was actually betting odds on Dancing With the Stars but on this is on vet us.com the odds right now for season 33 of dancing with the Stars so the favorites right now are Steph and Riley at plus 350 followed by Joey and Jenna at plus 450 and then the the biggest underdogs in the competition right now are Reginal V Johnson and Emma Slater at plus 2,500 and right above them is Anna Deli and Ezra SSA at plus 2,000 so yeah I just wanted to kind of get into that I think it's kind of interesting so in terms of my top four uh for the you know the predictions I just did so I had Stephen in there stepen and Riley they're number ones in Vegas I had Dwight and danela they're number three in Vegas I had Danny and Whitney they're number four in Vegas and I had Jen and Sasha and they're number six in Vegas so you know four of my couples are in the top six in the Vegas ODS so I think that's pretty good when you think about it and yes so for any of you for any of those out there who you know are interested in putting a bet on Dancing With the Stars on the on the winner for season 33 um like I said these odds are from BET us and I'm sure there's other websites out there might have different odds or the same odds I'm not really sure I really only looked at bet us but I thought it' just be interesting to mention on here and make sure yeah to uh stay tuned for the season 33 premiere of Dancing With the Stars coming to you next Tuesday night live on ABC at 800m Eastern time super excited and can't wait to recap it next week so now our final topic for today's show in the entertainment space we have a casting announcement for Happy Gilmore part two on last week's episode I believe I talked about you know Travis Kelce uh you know being joining the cast of Happy Gore to along with Adam Sandler and Nick schwarzen and now it came out on Tuesday actually that Bad Bunny the you know Spanish singer U you know Big Time Spanish singer he'll be part of Happy Gilmore to and two original stars of Happy Gilmore will be reprising their roles in in this sequel to the legendary hit by Adam Sandler we have have Christopher McDonald who of course played basically you know the villain of Happy Gilmore and then Julie Bowen who played the love interest of Happy Gilmore in the in the original movie of course Julie you know her um from Modern Family uh I think she was amazing in that and I think everyone loves her and Moder family but I think it was super cool you know to hear that these two original Stars right are returning for the sequel so many years later to join Adam Sandler and then you think of the new auditions and it's super excited it's super exciting I mean you have of course Travis Kelsey like I said but you also have Nick wartson who of course is in a bunch of Adam Sandler movies he has a bunch of iconic RS in the Sandler Universe whatever you want to call it Howe in The Benchwarmers he plays Dolph and just go with it he's in a lot of Adam Sandler movies and he always does a tremendous job another person who's going to be part of this cast is Benny saf Safi who is really known for his directing not for his acting he uh Adam Sanders collaborated with him a lot in the past couple years ever since Sandler really joined Netflix him and safy have grown close together and saf is going to have a role in Happy Gilmore too so that should be pretty cool as well for someone who's really a director you know and uh yeah so I mean that's pretty much the the cast announcement for happy good more to but I hope you guys enjoyed this entertainment section of the show now we're going to move on to the sports world and cover some NFL football for you all obviously week one came to a close The Season's underway and we have week two coming to us tonight if you're listening to us on Thursday tonight as we have the Miami Dolphins hosting the Buffalo Bills so now let's get into it so NFL week one recap I want to start off with my Miami Dolphins as we picked up a nail biting 20 to 17 victory over instate Rivals the Jacksonville Jaguars as Jason Sanders sends the Dolphins home with a game-winning 51 yard field goal to save the day and give the Dolphins their first victory of the season so a couple notes I have written down that I wanted to emphasize on here so the game started off in terms of the Dolphins it started off sloppy the offense is very sloppy in the first half I think the main cause of that was due to the the the team not being able to establish a running game the the running game was nowhere to be found there's a lot of screen passes being called time and time after time and time again and it was very much annoying in the first half to play calling and and not being able to establish the run it was very much annoy um so I think that's one of the main reasons the offense started off so slow then the defense side of the ball in the first half it it wasn't as bad as the offense but something that I believe um affected the defense in a negative way in the first half was uh a new defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver calling too much Zone and specifically in the Red Zone area um these corners and safeties were lined up in the end zone when the Jaguars would have the ball say at the 10 yard line or 15 yard line so um I think that very much affected like I said the defense negatively in the first half that said a bright spot on defense first drive of the game uh yeah for the defense uh kalas Campbell the new dolphin you know 20-year Pro an all proo player former Miami Hurricane um Walter pton Man of the Year one of the best people in the league he uh started off his dolins Dolphins debut with a bang first play he sacks Trevor Lawrence and the next play he uh tackles Travis ET for a loss in the backfield so hell of a start there for Kus Campbell in his Dolphins debut and of course prior to this game something I want to cover briefly not not longly here is Tyreek Hill you know the Superstar receiver of the Dolphins best receiver in the league and um you know right before the game as he was pulling into the stadium he was stopped for speeding he gave the officer you know his license then he put his car window up the officer got pissed off he opened the car door he basically SL Tyreek to the ground it was a whole mess I'm sure if you're hearing this or listening to us I'm sure you've seen the body cam footage as it since has been released I believe yeah it was released on Monday uh Monday night actually um so yeah that was a tricky situation it was just it sucked all around um but yeah that's kind of all I want to talk about with that situation uh so at the half of this game the Jaguars were leading the Dolphins 17 to3 like I said a lot of it was the Dolphins you know beating ourselves like the Jaguars were you know they did good enough they they made they're the team with the less mistakes I would say right at at halftime they took a 17-3 lead and then thankfully for the Dolphins in the second half um I want to shout out new defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver as as he was able to make tremendous uh adjustments on defense he he allowed the corners right to play more man-to-man coverage he uh slowed down the Jaguars running game as well and yeah there it was just it looked like a whole completely different unit from one half to the other and I think most of that is due to Anthony Weaver's ability to adjust and that's super impressive for a guy making his defensive coordinating debut with with this team uh I think I thought that was a very positive thing to see and to see him do it from day one I think speaks volumes as to how prepared professional and well qual well qualified he is for for his role as a defensive coordinator in Miami Dolphins some other things on offense um we're finally able to establish the Run game uh Devon hen had some pretty nice runs Jeff Wilson ended the game with some pretty crucial runs on that final drive and that running game led to TU and the offense being able to do some great deep passes including multiple passes to Jaylen wad he was one of the momentum starters and then of course that 80 yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill so that's what the Run game does it opens up the field and without a run game you're never going to win a championship so it was very promising and exciting to see the dolphins adjust at the half on offense as well and they you know be able to establish that run game as of right now um Raheem moard and Jeff Wilson are on the injury report so it's going to be interesting to to monitor whe whether or not they'll be able to play this week due to the quick turnaround uh with us playing tonight you know against the bills here at home for on Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime so it's gonna look like maybe Jeff Wilson could potentially uh have a lot more playing time in carries which I love I'm a huge Jeff Wilson fan and believer I think did a hell of a job on that final driver like I said and then Jaylen Ray right the the rookie out of Tennessee who we drafted he was inactive for this first game against Jacksonville um I believe if hen or moster are out tomorrow one or the other I think Wright will be active for his first you know NFL game and I think he'll do a hell of a job he's one of my biggest sleepers in the whole NFL this year I think he's gonna provide a tremendous boost for this Dolphins uh offense so it's going to be interesting to see who's available at the running back position for the game against the bills and then a couple other things I wanted to mention I want to shout out a guy who in my opinion he joined the Dolphins last season this was his best game overall as a member of the Dolphins I've been heavily critical of this guy but he he was completely Elite and that is our punter Jake Bailey he had three punts inside the 20 yard line nailing the Jaguars deep in their own territory and he just did a tremendous job he looked like a different guy out there I hope this is a confidence booster H for Jake Bailey going forward and then the St special teams as I said in the beginning of this Jason Sanders he had the game winning kick 51 y the last player of the game to lead the Dolphins to the victory he did have a misfield goal earlier in the game so it was great to see him make up for it and uh take the Dolphins home with a win let's see some other things that rot down here so now a little preview for this Thursday night football game as the Dolphins host their AFC East Division Rivals the Buffalo Bills um I think the Dolphins in order to get a victory against his great right Bills team you're going to have to establish the run from the Geto it can't be a catchup type of game like it was with Jacksonville uh Buffalo was too good for that they're too experienced and uh yeah I think you know we're going to have to establish a run game from the get-go uh and then yeah you know you're gonna have to stop Josh Allen who's coming off a four touchdown game and the Bills win against the Arizona Cardinals um and yeah a couple keys of Victory like I said the Run game of course and then the ability to have a spy on Josh Allen I think that's going to come a long way um this season obviously you know the bills um they you could call it they've owned the Dolphins for the last five five seasons uh you know three seasons with Brian Flores we went winless against the bills um then this is year three of Mike McDaniel in the first two seasons we've only won one game against the bills that was the McDaniel's the second game overall two years ago and we beat the Buffalo Bills here at home and it was exciting right but then you know they they got our number once again the following game that season and last year they got our our number multiple times including that final regular season game here at home Sunday Night Football where they uh won the division and knocked us back into the wild card so yeah you know the bills have been our biggest monkey they've been our biggest CP tonight U they've been the biggest thing in our way that we haven't been able to go over but I'm confident this year that this team is different and that the Miami Dolphin are going to show the world that the AFC East now belongs here in Miami to the Dolphins and one of the biggest reasons I feel that is because the improved linebacking Court by bringing in Jordan Brooks from the Seahawks by bringing in and Anthony Walker from the Cleveland Browns and adding them alongside Duke Riley and David L I believe these four men have the the speed the athleticism and most importantly the intelligence to keep up with Josh Allen and not let you be uh and not let him beat you with his legs which he of course he done throughout his whole career including last week against the Arizona Cardinals when he had a tremendous clutch touchdown run so yeah I to cover some other games in week one that stood out to me so that Chiefs Ravens game the kickoff game of the season um that game to me it goes to Steve spagnolo once again the defensive coordinator of the Chiefs he he's the best at what he does and he's just so consistent he knows exactly how to adjust he at the end of the game he made Lamar and the Ravens try to beat beat him and the Chiefs through the passing game unfortunately for the Ravens that didn't work out well uh on that final drive um Lamar Jackson had multiple opportunities he had multiple wide receivers open in the end zone to tie that game and send it in to over 10 he missed multiple guys and you know it is what it is that I think that game goes to spagnolo I think he was the MVP then of course you know Patrick Mahomes was always was incredible he was you know giving that Mahomes magic as always uh some other notes I wrote down here uh of course yeah I already talked about Lamar being inaccurate and all that uh Travis Kelsey you know it wasn't a big day for him in the receiving department but he did play a huge role in The Run game he was a tremendous blocker including one of those Pacho touchdowns he he he provided tremendous blocking and speaking of the running game in peko peko is an absolute Beast as always I'm a huge Isaiah Pacho fan he he put down that hammer multiple times on the Ravens Defenders broke multiple tackles and contributed greatly in this Chief's win some other things okay the receiving CT looked much improved already for the Chiefs and that's without newly acquired Hollywood Brown uh rasid rice looked like a superstar we already saw that last year in his rookie year he just kept getting better and better and he his and mahomes's chemistry from day one has been incredible but this game specifically I think he kind of showed the league like hey I'm the real deal I'm a I'm you know I'm uh taking the steps to be a superstar W wide out in this league another wi out to talk about Xavier worthy the first round pick of the Chiefs two touchdowns in his Pro debut his speed and quickness were on full display on national TV and it was just incredible to watch some other games I want to talk about from week one the Sunday night football match up between the Lions and RS was absolutely incredible Lions win it in overtime but I was so damn impressed by the Rams you know the Rams came into this game with a backup at left tackle backup at right tackle that backup left tackle ends up getting hurt so they end the game with a third string left tackle their starting center had to move to left guard um their backup center finished the game as a starting center uh I mean it was just incredible it was a hardfought contest like I said it went to overtime and Matthew Stafford we we already know this throughout what his 16year career however long it's been he's an absolute dog this guy takes a beating he gets up he keeps going he makes something out of nothing and he's just incredible sha McVey is always you know one of the top coaches in the NFL he's incredible and then Chris Shula the new defensive coordinator right of the Rams he had a tremendous debut as a defensive coordinator the grandson of Don schula who you know means a lot to us here in Miami we love him we love the schula family and I was sharing on Chris schula and that Rams defense on Sunday night R however with that said the Lions came out Victorious they never gave up they kept fighting and David Montgomery just went absolutely beast mode on that final drive and overtime and you know leted him to run into that end zone for the game winning score but what a another tremendous match up between the Lions and Rams one more game I want to talk about in week one the Tampa Bay Buccaneers I don't think they're getting enough credit they absolutely dominated the Washington commanders led by their quarterback Baker Mayfield he threw four touchdowns on the day including an absolute dime uh back shoulder dime to Mike Evans in the end zone with tremendous coverage on him by the way by that Commander's corner I can't remember his name right now but and then uh you know they have a rookie Jaylen McMillan U he's their number three receiver right now behind Evans and and Godwin he looked awesome he had a touchdown in the game and just that Trio of wide outs for Baker looked incredible Evans Godwin and McMillan I think they did a hell of a job I wanted to give the Bucks their love because I feel they deserve and they haven't gotten it this week now to move on to some week two games I want to preview so the Bengals and Chiefs they play Sunday at 425 on CBS uh at Arrowhead and KFC the Bengals coming off a week one loss versus Gerard mayo jacobe brette and the New England Patriots they're going to look to bounce back I believe a big key for them is that they're going to have to establish the Run game from the GetGo with that Duel of Chase Brown and Zach Moss um unfortunately though for them I I do believe that Steve spagnolo he'll be ready to go I think the Chiefs are going to come out on top and I I once again believe Spagnola is g to be one of that the main reasons that the Chiefs pick up another Victory another game I want to talk about go back to the Buccaneers oh and the Lions actually so the Bucks and lions another playoff uh rematch I think uh the Bucks are going to take this game in Detroit right now at least here in the Hard Rock bed app here in South Florida the Buccaneers are Underdog by seven points um obviously it's not like a gambling podcast or anything like that but I would very much look at that I think the Bucks are are being very underappreciated right now not taking anything away from the Lions they did a hell of a job and they got that hard five victory over the ramp right but I do I just believe this going to be another another game of that F of that Sunday night football match up between the Lions and Rams I think this Buck Lions game one o'clock Sunday it's going to be the same thing but I do believe the Bucks will come out on top I think the the Bucks uh passing game led by Mayfield and that receiving Trio I think they're going to destroy the pass defense of the lies and I think it's going to be a huge game for bucks running back Rashad white I believe he finishes this game with at least two touchdowns um now another game a couple two more games to preview here for week two so Sunday night football preview have the Chicago Bears taking out the Houston Texans two one and0 teams picked up victories in week one the Bears however didn't have any offensive touchdowns but hey they got the win at the end of the day as they had a huge comeback victory over the Tennessee Titans and then the Houston Texans coming out of two-point victory over division FS Indianapolis Colts I believe in this game the Bears will look to they must establish the run I know that's a repeated pattern you guys might be like oh why why does this guy keep saying that every team has to establish a run like at the end of the day if you want to be a championship team you want to be a team that gets there at the end and has a chance to compete for that Lombardi trophy in February in New Orleans by the way I meant to say that earlier I apologize so those football fans last week were heard me say mul times that the Super Bowl will be in Vegas I got confused with the past Super Bowl that was in Vegas this Super Bowl will be occurring in New Orleans so sorry I had to mention that really quick but yeah I believe the Bears will have to establish that running game um as I was saying you need a running game and a and a and a consistent defense if you really want to make it and have a chance to compete for that Lombardi in February in New Orleans 2025 but U with that said I believe you know the Bears have a nice group actually of running backs and I believe they they should use this um running back by committee concept right I don't think they should just heavily give the ball to DeAndre Swift Out of the Back Field I think they should involve Swift Roshan Johnson Kalo Herbert and even the former Kane go Kane's two and0 but uh Travis Homer you could even involve him on third down situations he's good out of the back field as a pass catcher but I think that Trio specifically of Swift Herbert and rooshan Johnson will do wonders if the Bears are able to establish that running game against this Houston Texans defense and um I think the Texans will look to start faster in this one uh I think they're going to be F uh ready more from the get go than they were in that week one game against the Indianapolis Colts but yeah so that's the Sunday night preview and then the final game I want to preview here Monday Night Football we have the 0 And1 Falcons taking on the one and0 Eagles I think the the Falcons they their main key in this one would look to play cleaner football right on the offensive side of the ball I think their defense did a fine enough job to pick up a win against the Steelers but unfortunately that Falcons led by Kirk Cousins made too many mental mistakes in that one and the Steelers ultimately led by Mike tomon came out in top but yeah I think the Falcons need to play smarter and the same goes for the other side although the Eagles did pick up a week one victory in Brazil against Green Bay they're super sloppy but they got lucky because the Packers were even sloppier than them but I believe these are two teams in this Monday night matchup they're going to look to to get rid of those you know mental errors that ultimately W uh win or lose you games right um but I do believe with all I said that the Falcons actually will come out on top in this one I think their offense is going to look much cleaner much better and I think the Falcons are are much better team than people actually um give them credit to be I think they're they're going to pick up a huge victory in Philly and I just believe I just there's something about Philly I just feel at some point this season things are just gonna I don't know get out of control just like last year what they started what was it like 10 and0 or 11 and0 and then all of a sudden they like lost the rest of their games basically I kind of feel like the same things happening this year and I think Atlanta comes out on top and I think Kurt Cousins Prime Time Monday Night Football is going to come out on top and I think it's going to be a big game for for Atlanta but yeah guys it's going to wrap up you know this sports segment obviously you know these first two episodes back we've only covered NFL I I know obviously some of you are Baseball fans basketball fans hockey fans all that but you know right now I just really want to focus on NFL do to it you know starting right now and being you know the current uh topic right U I know baseball you know we're a month away from the playoffs so perhaps when we get to October we'll talk a little bit more baseball basketball training camp comes at the end of this month I know that Miami he will be training in uh bahamar over there in the Bahamas um but yeah with that said hope you guys enjoyed this sports segment all right guys
