well exit here at barnesy tonight Chris your take on the Sid's performance today I'm disappointed I'm disappointed for everybody that's that's traveled to to Watchers I'm disappointed um of a lack of urgency into in in in the game um thought we had control especially first half we had good chances we have to score um see the shape of their side and and and the strength and Powerful so um you know a little bit of a wakeup call for some of the younger ones who played against Reon and thought maybe this was going to be a pretty comfortable night I've told them wasn't going to be we got a Target on my back is a local Derby they said we have to go and get the first goal and when they get the first goal because we play into their hands because we play Backwards we play Slow there's no urgency to our play um they jump on that they jumped on two or three times our two Midfield players just kept running with it and running into traffic they break it up they get the goal and then it is game on um it was only when Gus came on that we showed that urgency that that that we were after so there's a difference between Boo and it there's a difference between building and in there there's there's there's a a sweet spot that you get um that you get the balance right um and you know they have to and maybe the younger players have took it literally that we want to play there has to be more urgency into the game but I've got to say last 20 25 minutes they never got out out of their half and we have to find something better with the quality that we've got and uh and we couldn't it was difficult because like I said three big Center halfs um just droing pin in around the edge of the box and we have to we have to score the perfect goal but we still got into enough positions to get result from the game and um and take it to uh take it to penalties um but there you go we're out the competition but it's not been it's not been a good night for us but Lessons Learned for a lot of players out there and things to take forward in their careers I don't want I don't want Lessons Learned I want to win game football so I'm not you know um I'm I'm I'm disappointed and we have to have that mentality I'm not bothered you know I'm not bothered about lessons learn or whatever they have to grow up and they have to grow up quick if they want to play in our first team um I think it was difficult as well you know we had to make physical substitutions Again Sam mcallum could only play 60 Ran's only in that stage where he can only play 60 Ty Campbell's playing catchup Sam mccallum's playing catchup so that was for ree noron Davis has not played any football that makes it more difficult so anybody wants to ask a question why we didn't put Vinnie on or this that and the other R we couldn't because of the physical substitution we had to make but I'm caught in between as well because you know these boys need minutes to get ready for the first team so they have the minutes but ultimately we've lost the game of football and I don't like losing don't like losing local Derbies don't like losing when we bring 5,000 fans and uh and it's uh it's you know it's it's a tough one to take any injuries from tonight to contend with no uh no it was a physical game um we get that I thought you know um don't think the referee I'm not looking for help on the referee but I didn't think the referee referee it as as well as he should have should have done shirt pulling and bits and pieces like that they broke the game up and as I said we played into their hands you know I've got you know a lot of respect for for Daryl and they've got the job done it's not it's not sour sour sour grapes but you know um we have to be we have to be uh better on that on on that side of it we have you know it's not really been in in the game apart from sort of that that that period where for me it wasn't them uh you know overpowering us or or or dominating us or dictating to us it's us making Elementary mistakes that allowed them to get ahead of steam up and you get you get over here you know with visitors uh and you they they obviously get crowd gets louder and louder more enthusiastic from their point of view um and uh they see the Finishing Line and they've got something to hang on to and fair play to them they've hung on to it made some great blocks um but saying that as I said last 15 20 minutes we've had so much of the play you know we have to find we have to find that final pass you know we have to find that that that finish um that last little bit and um and and obviously we didn't and we're out of the competition
