this program is called the viable Pathway to prosperity and welding and it is a community collaboration between Chattanooga State Community College Hamilton County Schools Chattanooga 2.0 the American Welding Society and several local employers who were able to recruit high school graduates to come out and with a four-week training go from zero to enough welding experience to learn how to learn by putting them through a program like this giving them scholarships to be able to go through debt-free as well as stiens to care of the wraparound supports that we have given them an opportunity to on ramp into a thriving wage career I used to go to a success High and the one of the principes there told me to come to this program because they thought it would be a great fit for me I always wanted to be a welder I like the hands-on experience the feel of the electricity flowing through the nozzle the way you can see the puddle Mill and it just all Mills together Mr con my man you guys here are are truly Trailblazers all of the clock hours that you completed can be transferred over to Tat's welding technology program I'm proud to know that you know how to weld and that you're on your track to be better welders every day every be that you lay down but I'm even more proud that we know and those that meet you know that you are young men that are professionals graduates of cohort 1 for viable Pathways to prosperity and Welding drop your [Music] hoods oh
