Yankees vs. Royals: Power Predictions Will it be four up, four down for the New York Yankees this week on the road in Kansas City. Wait, did they have a day off? No, wait. No no, they didn't have a day off. No. Take it away, Tony. Roll the plate. This is the fourth game, right? Yeah We're like, all the way through playing now. Granted. Yes 93 degree temperatures at Kauffman today. What if I told you 13 mile an hour winds are blowing out to left field here? What if I told you a pitcher on the mound who was a quality young starter is really having trouble with right handed batters in 2024? And then I told you, Aaron Judge has close to a 700 ISO power number against right handed pitching over the past month. Giancarlo Stanton, who hit one to the moon yesterday close to a 300 ISO. So power number you get the drift where we're going. Don't worry about if they're going to win the game or not. For the Yankees, baseballs will be leaving the yard today, whether they like it or not. And also from a Kansas City perspective, Nestor Cortez is a left handed pitcher. Do you know who he struggles with? Right handed batters where that wind is blowing out to today? Bobby Witt Jr for 62. ISO Nelson Velasquez for 29, ISO Freddy Fermin 250 ISO. We should be getting runs today because the temperatures and the atmosphere tell us. So here get ready. Let's do it. I don't even know. Need to know how many games are left in a series or many, or how many have already been played when Donny just takes it over and talks about the wind blowing out on a warm day in KC, we're going over ten and a half again. Yesterday's total ten in a hook, we saw 16 combined runs between the Yankees and the Royals. Bobby Witt Jr by the way, two RBIs albeit in the losing effort for Kansas City. He's going to record a ribbie today. I like the over there as well. The Yankees a road favorite to make it five wins in a row, a four game series sweep over Kansas City. Still Baltimore vs. Atlanta: Weather and Matchups trying to get to that 40 win bench mark. Can Baltimore make it seven victories in a row the end of this midweek set for the O's against the Braves as well. Baltimore a very slight favorite at home -112 against Atlanta over under is at nine. The O's have actually been the home favorite in each of the last two games against the Braves. Atlanta has not been booked as an underdog much this year, even struggling in the last month. And by the way, we're taking a look again, weather updates here. 88 degrees at first pitch. Wind blowing out to left field at Camden Yards today. That should help. But having said that, some of the matchups here aren't that great. You look at that Baltimore Orioles lineup. It's fantastic all the way through, but you still need the pitcher to help you out by throwing junk over the middle of the plate so you can crush it. Ronaldo Lopez, one of those guys I continue to bring up when he was with the White Sox, loved to fade him. He's a fly ball pitcher that's usually bad news. It hasn't been bad news this year. Last 30 days, even 120 Isiah 120 ISO to 277 weighted on base percentage. If you trust that Baltimore Royals offense, then you'll probably just ride with Baltimore. But let's flip it over to the Atlanta Braves. Cole Irvin, the left handed pitcher, is going to be on the mound today for the Baltimore Orioles. Very good against lefties. That's typically a lot of left handed pitchers are but not so good last 80 batters he's faced from the right side, a 219 ISO and a 385 weighted on base percentage. Here's the issue two batters in this lineup. That makes some sense. Adam Duvall, who was terrible yesterday, was unbelievably good numbers against lefties. He probably still should be in your lineup. Matt Olson, who I do believe recorded an RBI yesterday. He's a left handed batter that actually does well against lefties, but nobody else in that lineup is doing anything. Look at the ISOs here. Harris zero. Albies 107, Ozuna zero 40. Riley oh 48. Dano oh zero. Kelenic oh 50. RC oh 77. This is just a product of the environment here you can't take advantage of. It's a good ballpark to hit in. It's great temperatures. The wind is blowing out, but I don't think the Atlanta bats can take advantage of it. So just based on that, it's probably going to be an Orioles Day here. Yeah. And listen so far Atlanta as I said not an underdog. Often I mean very rarely at all. Just four times this year including yesterday's matchup in Camden. And when Atlanta has been an underdog, albeit only four times, they have lost all four games outright. Oh, and Dodgers vs. Rangers: Pitching Dynamics four as a dog straight up this year. So not Yoshinobu Yamamoto tonight in Los Angeles for the Dodgers, but at the ravine. It is another game between LA and Texas. The Dodgers still a lofty home favorite minus 188. The over under stands at eight and a half. The Dodgers scored 15 runs in game one against Texas. The Rangers responded yesterday and Corey Seager's reunion with the Los Angeles Dodgers. They get the first win of this series. What happens tonight at the Ravine? It's tough getting the handicap from a Dodgers perspective, not from their hitters but from their pitchers. Looks like Johan Ramirez might be an opener today, giving way to Grove, so it's always tough to gauge how long that opener is going to go. And the effect of this that we're going to get from Grove behind it, but also it's not as if we're licking our chops at this Texas Rangers lineup. And thank goodness Seager came back into it. And by the way, against right handed pitchers, which if Ramirez does open up obviously he'll be the righty. Seager 714 ISIL power number was asked 43 at bats against right handed pitching. It almost doesn't even compute how hot he's been. He's literally the only lineup or the only guy in the lineup that you can trust. Flip it over to Michael Lorenzen does struggle with right handed batters, so the focus of the lineup for me will be Will Smith and Teoscar Hernandez in that four and five hole, but also sensational ISIL power numbers and weighted on base percentages from Mookie Betts and Ohtani. So the first four guys in that first five guys, excuse me for the Dodgers lineup. They should be spectacular in this game tonight. The Dodgers should win this one just a little bit hard to handicap who's pitching who's opening. And if even that's going to be the case we'll find out probably a little bit later today. The rubber match there in LA Michael Grove is listed as Cardinals vs. Pirates: Key Players to Watch the probable starting pitcher. Now for Los Angeles, at least on the FanDuel sports book. We go now to Saint Louis. The Cardinals and the Pirates. The buccos victorious in schemes. De Saint Louis responds yesterday. It is a pick em -108 both sides. Who wins in the loop? Let's take a look at the temperatures again out there in the mighty Midwest. 92 degrees at first pitch, ten mile an hour. Winds blowing out the left field. So another really good hitting environment. Mitch Keller is going to be on the mound. He's been quite good. Ben over the past 30 days in oh 78 ISO coupled with a weighted on base percentage of 264. It's not really anybody on that line for Saint Louis that I'm looking at. If we flip it over to Pittsburgh, it's one guy I'm looking at who matches up with Lance Lynn, who is a right handed pitcher. That struggles with left handed batters. O'Neill, Cruz in that spot, right in the cleanup. 237 ISO 328 weighted on base percentage, maybe even a Jack Suwinski batting later in that lineup as a lefty, as 214 ISO and a weighted on base percentage of 340. Tough to pick which side I'll lean for the Pittsburgh Pirates, but if I'm looking for RBI props, probably coming from a Pittsburgh Pirates perspective here, a bunch of rubber matches today in a three game midweek set. This included between the Cardinals and the Pirates. It's blowing out near the mighty Mo in Missouri today, both in Saint Louis and 11 games around Major League Tigers vs. Nationals: Weather Impact Baseball on this Thursday card, four of them during the afternoon hours, including in the Motor City between the Tigers and the nationals. -152, the number in favor of Detroit at Comerica Park. Nine and a half. Is that total DRS? What do you like here between the Tigers and the Nats today we do have warm weather close to 90 degrees at first pitch. However, 15 mile an hour wind blowing in from right field here in Detroit might damper some expectations. And also take a look at Patrick Corbin, one of those pitchers that you generally like to get after. Why? Because if you just can stack right handed batters up against them, he struggles because you take a look at his last 30 days, a 348 ISO and a weighted on base percentage of 413 against right handed batters. Here's the issue. Detroit is going to come with probably eight of nine batters. That will be from the right hand side. So sign me up. Now you might have to take a little bit of a leap of faith because everybody in that lineup outside of Jake Rogers, the catcher who bats eighth, has terrible numbers over the past month against left handed pitching. So it's a shame you're kind of burning out that lineup by saying, all right, I'll still take them. But boy, don't be surprised if Corbin has a decent outing because this guys can't hit lefties. Take a look at Casey Mize on the opposite side here for the Detroit Tigers. He's been struggling over the past month with lefty and righty batters. But again the issue is going to be who in that lineup can actually step up for Washington had some success a couple of nights ago. Layne Thomas he actually has a 205 ISO and a 340 weighted on base percentage against right handed pitching over the past month. Even CJ Abrams, who was red hot at the plate, doesn't have great numbers against right handed pitching over the past month, so this game should be an over. But those windy conditions and the way these batters line up against the pitchers probably has me leaning more towards the under. But some average RBI shots from the Washington Nationals though the Nats looking for their sixth consecutive victory, they won the final three games of a four game set this weekend against the Braves. Looking for the sweep today on the road in the motor City, the nationals third best record in the National League East, even in front of the New York Mets at this moment. But the Mets playing slightly better. They've won Mets vs. Marlins: Trusting the Lineups five of their last seven. They scored double digit runs yesterday at home against the Miami Marlins. That's where we go up next tonight at Citi Field -200. The price for the amazins against the fish. Is that too strong of a number in favor of New York? Yeah. If you can't trust the Mets lineup, what the heck are you going to actually do with the Miami Marlins lineup at this point? You take a look at Severino on the mound has had a very good past month in Major League Baseball, 106 batters. He's faced an 83 ISO and a weighted on base percentage of 261. And just like that common theme in baseball today, maybe you can just take advantage of the weather conditions up at Citi Field 76 degrees at first pitch. And how about this 13 mile an hour wind blowing dead out to center field so you can feel the heat coming on. And if you just look at that Marlins lineup today, jazz Chisholm out of the leadoff hole, 67 at bats a ISIL power number of 215 against right handed pitching over the past month, a low weighted on base percentage. But again, he's the only guy in that lineup with an ISIL power number that is above average. I don't know where the runs are coming from. The Marlins, and it is a big price, but the only way you can trust it would still be with the New York Mets. Yeah, right now New York again playing better baseball. Winners of five of their last seven, nine games below 500, though at Citi Field up in Queens this year, the Mets actually have a winning record away from New York. But below 500 and considerable. So in their own home ballpark this Best Bets for Thursday season, 11 games around MLB on this Thursday, it's now time to give you a best bet for a lot of action on the diamond and maybe some action in the WNBA out of me as well. So before we say farewell and goodbye, it is time for bye bye bye. What is Donny? Right side's best bet on this Thursday. Yeah. Let's keep it simple. Let's go. Afternoon action. Cash this in before dinner. And I told you how good the temperatures are out there in Kansas City. And those Yankees batters should feast. But have we said yesterday I missed with Aaron judge went for two RBI. But the reason I did that is because the price point for one was ridiculous. So we didn't technically juice out yesterday, but I should have went Giancarlo Stanton not going to make that mistake today. You know we're going to do we're going to take Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton each to record an RBI. Instead of paying those heavy price points on juice will eliminate that. And we'll take a plus 219 parlay. So it's judge and Stanton to each get an RBI based on the factors of Marsh doesn't get right handed
