petrified of him he didn't go nowhere near Julian dicks when he came to Upton Park stayed away from him at all costs and such a quiet man as well who dicks yeah off off the pitch was he yeah until he came on the pitch and he owned it you know it was just a bit naughty yes but it was back in the day but yes this man could tackle and he's timing of tackles as well and he made the tackle look sexy that was the key to it it never look clumsy you know so do you think because of where football is at the moment you're not allowed to have a player like that anymore no you can't of course you can't um it's a shame really and I think you need a bit of that I mean you had a little bit of it now I do like the fact refs letting it go a little bit more now I mean I'm not talking about two foots and all that but it is nice that early crunch you know what I mean if that's what you're on the pitch to do which is tackle and be a pest and and break up play then you should be allowed if it's you know not d dangerous to be a to smash into people I mean that's what gets a crowd going like a goal or a save a great when when a game's flat and someone smashes it it really lifts the crowd it's a thing tackling and there's an art form to it so uh for me he had it locked down did no one got past him I don't you're going to get an argument out of anyone dribbling uh dribbling um so many great dribblers in there over the years you know what I mean I would have said Hazard but I did have him in me pocket so um did he speak to you after that blank me blank me I made a mistake with I'd like to andess when people were saying I was playing like M I don't know what happened I sort of slid into him I rolled on the floor rolled up and just laid it off right but um you know he had have an operation off it w't down to me I'll tell you listen there's some naughty challenges in that game Essen who smashed Steven Bartley went down the back of his Hill like that was a naughty challenge um uh Evra Patrice he's alone and the way he smashed into Tom grenan with his hip in the back of his neck I thought I think I set the tone to be fair I think you did we are making D ultimate footballer for finishing you've gone poo Deano for Pace you've gone TI passing Kev De Bron a heading you've gone CES Ferdinand julan dicks you putting for tackling and aggression we got three left oh no did you choose dribbler you did who'd you go for um oh you went Hazard didn't you uh no I said about aard I was going to choose him I'm going to go with uh I've got to put him in there just for memory was I'm going to put P meet P he scored an amazing go of Lon Stadium when we first got that stadium and no one wanted to be in that ground and he took on about 12 players I can't remember who it was and then he just sort of laid it in it was like oh and then and then he had to leave under certain circumstances I don't exactly know what happened but I was absolutely devastated and it was weird I knew he was going because uh his uh his kid was the same age as my my son and they went to the same nursery and I dropped me boy off and I realized that his son's Peg was gone I said where's that kid's Peg I said oh no obviously we can't discuss other children I said where's the peg I need to know because it's very important to me me and uh obviously um they took the child out of school cuz I think um the misses had moved back to France so I was fuming fing his kid was called meelan yeah well I know you know I knew his kid went there and I never come across the gazer of course but uh I just you know I just I used to put my my my boy's coat next to that pig you know just to get a bit closer to him and uh and then all of a sudden it was gone and I was like oh right and of course we know how it panned out unfortunately although I still think there's a lot of love for that man over West I mean you know what some goals he scored I think he scored a nice one against United I know I'm sure what his most famous goal was ridiculous it was a free kick against Crystal Palace and uh it was I don't know how he bent it you couldn't put it any more in the top Corner than he about we were one n down as well and so you know just silky beautiful you know two left leadership I mean you you've already used Julian dicks but he was a wonderful well I'm going to go I'm going to go leadership um someone I'd want leading Tony Adams okay I he was a great leader a good leader him you know I mean it was a presence on the pitch you know and uh uh you know I think he was one of it's hard cuz obviously was you Danny and him well she um uh she split up with her ex and we was on holiday thankfully uh yeah you know uh and uh we was on oliday all of us me Danny you know little s he was born as our son and uh she went to me d i just uh just had a DM from Jared Bo he slid into a DM I said reply to it wasia you know sort of brassing her off as you do as a father and uh and so yeah so for the rest of the ol basically she she moved into a nice G she got her first property and uh he lived he was living next door he just signed for West Ham so interestingly it was all oh and you I was like oh wow J B's living next door you know what I mean um and and um and then she and then he dropped a package to her ass and um what do that mean well no um he he uh a delivery got put through his ass instead of inad of any they dropped it round to her she said his eyes dad his blue eyes I said they are blue ain't they darling they're so blue who do you think loves him more I uh oh it's a tricky one that you know um there ain't much in it okay um you know uh so I yeah so so yeah anyway for the rest of the H she had this sort of gummy little look on her face and I thought oh said of getting on and then he took her out and then you know where tell me the first time you met him she brought him home she brought him home mine we did a uh it was a bonfire night party so uh he came over bless him and family I was a bit digy you know uh but I can't have been as nervous than he was you know so he walked into a bunch of you know East Landon lunatics you know standing around a big fire little booze going on and everything and um you know and obviously he doesn't drink he's such a straight go and it was a real moment for me I mean what' you say to him you know um I wanted to take his shoes off for him and put his feet up on the city and you know give him a nice massage you don't want to go in too strong you know um but you know just all I want to see like any father is my daughter in love and I tell you when they're not with the right person they're not the same there's something just not right about him and from the off she was my Danny in front of him and you go that's love he gets her she gets
