yeah I thought you know I told her guys threatened a week before the game I thought this was a game work kind of reveal a lot about our character I thought it did actually the way we started you know South Carolina got 12 of the first five six minutes that game you know I think maybe 11 the longest start the game we could easily fooled especially knowing we had don't ten excuses as to why we kill off this with injuries and whatnot I thought our guys fought back fall back short on a character resiliency and that's a big win you know you look at different contributions from different guys out reasonably - low paid comes up with ten rebounds you know her almost has to total public entities posted four foot six behind me those too late with him it was big you know obviously Katara as the tons of pressure on Mary came out of heat placement we had no shot to win he came through I thought he handled that pressure in the second half on belief would welcome a lot of guys Jackson you know JD deserves to play while he's put in the gym a lot you know a lot of times guys hit the gym don't necessarily play great they quit coming he had some tough games just kept calling shows over the morning 6:37 well I told we would know after they called time I missed the first free throw I said we show up a search party miss this thing once and put too many shots up but you you've already heard this you may just think all those warnings just go finishing up not getting any right now but that people it was huge to push it before the kinda came from also really proud of all the guys in their season and for Jamie and I was just wondering if there was a plan particularly that you made tonight that really stood out to you I'm gonna quit first how did you that just looked up out of the lineup come on we have to go a little bigger so we been practicing with that kind of package I mean essentially we played the whole game with at least two senators and because the way her flying right now he's a senator I mean he's not able to she I mean she came she was real well I'm one of the position you play basketball your center so kind of her about there and then either cheer JD it's pretty much out there in a little time you know Reese could play the floor on offense but you know he also plays the five twists a lot before her got hurt so you know we went through a whole package how is something you do with your coach they're only six but I've learnt them but I don't want think of my like candy around everything look I look how I am trying to kill one yet I was not trying to get one of their house I was just upset with the way the calls were going I mean this is a team and they're taught by taught respect for Frank is becoming Franks one of those guys that I was back as a high school coach in Detroit you're watching up in case Dayton you know because the cell you can learn a job with respect how hard his teams play and how hard he coaches know but you know he's got a regulation ship with his guys more to coach him as hard as he does so I love watching Frank's teams play so I do they're gonna be part playing physical group I just you know bottles maybe aren't supposed to be even when you're playing their team they tend to fall out and he knows it and kind of go to bed so just trying to give us a couple calls they said mrs. mistake that the team kind of a periodic acid and did you see what did you see tonight and how close were you monitoring that and and just how much gas they had you know what I finally just came to the conclusion that hurts so valuable he's figuring out how to play on offense with as limited as he is I just I trying to play him off in Stevens I'm just gonna play him he played 40 minutes I think playing hurt 40 allows you to play you don't get some other guys a little bit of rust typing hurts just me or won't off to play 40 every night twice he's not a file channel that told me it staff file trouble so I thought you know if you look at our minutes outside of Chiron herb nobody's over 30 you know so I thought we did a better job distributing some minutes maybe and those counters used to play in 40 so for counter play 37 is it a big deal close to 38 if it's no problem for him when I think hurts Turbo everybody else we kept now under appeal people have been really really good in the first task force here recently I thought maybe he got tired the second half him picking up two early fouls maybe enabled him to be more fresh late in the game and I thought those free throws every sport Lionel's free throws he hit late huge we needed them you know he's obviously a really good defender that can pressure the ball and cause some issues with that so having em fresh late check stuff top 1 2 for 2 at the line late you know maybe getting those guys but it's not a little bit helpful one more attack for 6 to know when you get a second tip to research on it's only six but you're never needed if you know that and then also when you hear a guy like Chiron say that you know I'm gonna have my clothes back what does that mean for you well that's great because they didn't start to play with a little more energy after that I wasn't happy with our energy out of the gate so I get the tech to get our energy out but it certainly went off and counter you got those transition pockets counter right after that we got go on to ourselves back in the game so I am yeah not trying to give but if we're down right you may be right now you gotta get one no six mile I do I do know we're on the feeder like you I didn't know that eyes like some reason I thought well that's good it's only six just I don't want to have too many more and yet coach I wanted to ask you about Damien and I know it recently in the second half beginning you kind of decided not to play him but did you did you do was it an emphasis tonight to try to give you involved early and also to go inside with the way Frank's team plays you know what I don't want to say that we necessarily emphasize go on its side but we knew that we're going to get some scoring elsewhere with Penny help so a bottle I mean if you look together for offensive rebounds I'm not sure how many of his points came on most but he's he's a skilled big that they can play a little bit of all streams can handle a little bit obviously hitting the three gave a big boost to confidence and all these a kid thickness throughout the course the year has been a little bit up and down emotionally and we've tried to get him to just one plate he cares so much she's in the gym so much working on it personally had it straight I told him that kind of all time there's a selfish part of his game like the gym be as selfish as you want like we're doing a personal game we need you to be that way just you know be part of the team when she didn't roll to the team and I think sometimes he is so down on himself when he doesn't play well he expects to play so well how much time he's put in that he you know it's not necessarily a selfish thing but it becomes so she's so upset with himself he can't help the team out and so sometimes when he gets like that we gotta give him I think he's done much better job he can't even admit it you know I can't be cameras all to be at times which is his emotional rollercoaster that he put himself in I think he's done a great job give himself stabilize that way where he's a lot more you would kill just give us an effort I mean nobody make the place perfect I told we tell them that all the time you make mistakes just make sure they're not effort mistakes missed shots missed free-throws whatever make sure you're playing hard through the whole thing because just piggybacking on that I know that Coach Hudson is one of the things he's worked on with JD lately so Italian coach honey looks like he should be working like the bass doesn't me you know I mean what do you what we've been working on lately with them this more like picking a roll stud you know we have teams play it's different way where we think we can get him on a roll and they can make decisions kind of the middle lane and JD's been pretty good at that how we can get finals today the other thing is we the way we play we don't run any ton of pull stops unless we've got this match there but we do play off the drive so like you know we call three locations as the big relocates to open areas on the floor just stress get into the right spots and then the other one is just to rebound he's been all over Erie started every one of RTA's go back and chart rebounding percentages offense defense like every single time given up like we peddle all over them but rebounding here lately just cuz I mean we want to be known as a tough hard-nosed team tough hard-nosed teams that don't get outrebounded like we've been getting our denominator recently so I think the biggest thing that made the biggest difference was having with him tonight was just a rebounding aspect of he ends up when you're playing hard and interested office usually fouls so he gets four offensive rebounds and 10 rebounds total he's bound to have a good offensive game in my opinion kind of like know even with petty early in here just keep playing hard he struggled to shoot it the first three games of the year she's play on if you play harder to give us an effort and your blue collar points are all eventually shot you gonna drop your offensive foul and that's what happened I think JD's playing into that but really all over our base I'll rebound the ball and if you look I mean reset ten Tavian and ten you know Kameron Pickett deputy minutes with the pouch always in for those in herbs essentially a big - I mean thirty nine rebounds materials three guys excuse tonight forgot
