Introduction Hi everybody This is iNok In this video, I'm going to share my best selections, foods and restaurants in Tokyo station Let's go Today, I came to Tokyo station This is one of the biggest and most important station in Tokyo Over 1 million people use this station for a day so that there’re so many restaurants and we can enjoy wonderful food over here So in this video, I'm going to share 8 foods and restaurants in Tokyo station Let’s have an amazing tour together Please subscribe my channel Yakitori Ju / Grilled Chicken Over Rice at Itowashigoro Shoten First shop that I'd like to share is Itowashigoro Shoten This is a famous brand chicken called Nagoya Kochin specialized restaurant The restaurant mainly offers Yukiyori and Oyakodon Yakitori is grilled chicken skewer and Oyakodon is simmered chicken and egg over rice The restaurant is pretty small but it's comfortable enough to enjoy chicken cuisine Today I'll order yakitoriju, Yakitori over rice And this is Yakitoriju Various kind of chicken part we can enjoy It looks so gorgeous Chicken part is skin, thigh, tail and two different type of minced meat We can also have some veggies and omelette Chicken thigh is well grilled so outside is slightly crispy and it's really tender It's also so succulent It's seasoned by sweet teriyaki sauce so it tastes slightly sweet and salty Rice is underneath of chicken and it also gets some sauce So rice is really flavorful, too This sweetness and saltiness is amazing Chicken skin is also well grilled so it's slightly crispy yet so chewy The more I chew it, the more tasty chicken fat I can enjoy Soup also comes as a meal It's also from chicken It has gentle taste of chicken and plus it's full flavor of chicken This is so good Omelette and leek are great accent for the dish Omelette tastes so rich and leek is really crunchy These are wonderful side dishes Bonjiri is chicken tail It’s really tasty part of chicken It’s juicy and it’s amazingly crunchy Texture is so enjoyable Shiitake is so succulent and so soft Shishito is crunchy and it’s little bit bitter because of these taste differences, we can enjoy Yakitoriju till the end This is called Tsukune It's chicken meatball It also tastes sweet and salty but some herb or condiments are mixed up in it So it tastes refresh and it’s even tastier And soboro, it's simmered minced meat It's also sweet and salty but it tastes much denser than teriyaki sauce It taste super super rich of chicken It also has take away meal, Obento, so we can enjoy on the Shinkansen or at home, too When you come to Tokyo station, try tasty Japanese high brand chicken dish at Itowashigoro shoten It makes you so happy Okay let's see next food and restaurants! Conveyor Belt Sushi at Tokyo Haneda Market The next shop that I'd like to share is Tokyo Haneda Market This is a very famous conveyor belt Sushi restaurant in Tokyo station Even though in Tokyo station, we can have very fresh and tasty sushi However, price is not that reasonable It's kinda pricey for me It's really busy shop, but customers eat Sushi pretty quick So we don't need to wait too much Inside of the restaurant is so lively We can see how Sushi chef makes Sushi over the counter Unfortunately, conveyor belt is working but Sushi is not on the conveyor anymore Only a special lane works for kids when the restaurant gets orders Today, I'll take recommended 3 piece Sushi set Bluefin Tuna set, White fish set and Silver skin fish set And this is the Sushi that I ordered Every single Sushi looks brilliant Sushi is shimmering and so beautiful I'll eat from white fish set because it's said that we should eat light tastes Sushi first Sea bream has simple and light taste but it's chewy and it tastes so rich I usually start Sushi with sea bream I can enjoy gentle tastes of fish Amberjack is really tasty It tastes so dense Amberjack fat melts in my mouth This is good It's one of my favorite Sushi Yellowtail is also really famous and tasty fish It's similar with amberjack but yellowtail tastes even denser, fattier and softer than amberjack Both are really good but I think yellowtail is slightly better for me Coming next is silver skin fish set I'll have from mackerel This mackerel is unique It's pickled by vinegar so it slightly tastes sour Because mackerel has typical fishy smell but to get pickled, we can take out fishy odor It's so chewy and tasty juice comes out every time I chew it Sardine is so fresh and flavorful It's really soft We normally have with grated ginger and green onion To eat sardine with these condiments, we can save typical smell of sardine It tastes really refresh and good Horse mackerel is very famous fish in Japan It's similar with sardine but it's chewier and it tastes richer than sardine It smells slightly stronger than sardine so we have it with ginger and green onion For me, horse mackerel is much better than sardine This is really tasty fish The last dish is bluefin Tuna set I can have lean, fatty, extra fatty tuna meat First one is of course from less fatty one, lean part of tuna Lean tuna is the most common Sushi in Japan It's less fattier than other part of tuna but it tastes really rich of tuna We can enjoy full flavor of tuna meat It's chewy, really moist and fresh Fatty tuna is called Chutoro This is so tasty one I guess this is the best balance between fat part and lean meat And plus, price is not that expensive either Chutoro is really melty and very tasty It could be the best Sushi Last one is extra fatty tuna, called Ohtoro In general, people believe that this is the tastiest Sushi It's amazingly soft and melty Once we put into the mouth, it soon starts melting and we don't need to chew it That much it's really fatty and soft If you don't know which one you should eat, this is the one you must have I'm sure Ohtoro makes you satisfy So these are pretty much about Tokyo Haneda Market and Sushi We can casually enjoy tasty Sushi in Tokyo station We can also have other Sushi restaurnats in Tokyo station but I recommend this shop Price and quality are very good If you love Sushi, we can't miss Tokyo Haneda Market Okay, let's go to see next restaurant Hamburg Steak at Kakunoshin The next shop that I'd like to share is Kakunoshin Hamburg Steak Kakunoshin is well known as a fine meat restaurant And we can have wonderful meat dishes at Tokyo station branch Especially, Hamburg steak is highly recommended at this shop Price is slightly expensive than other shops I feel like it's a little bit pricey if I order with Hamburg and steak Inside of the restaurant it very luxury space We can enjoy wonderful meals with very cozy space Today, I'll take No.1 recommended menu which is Kakunoshin Hamburg steak And this is it It looks good but it's really simple It's just only Hamburg steak This is surprising I got Hamburg steak, baked potato, salad and Wasabi Oh my god This Hamburg steak is awesome Meat juice is already oozing out or I should say it's about to explode As I shared, Hamburg steak is indescribably succlent, it's amazing! Full of meat juice is all over the mouth I'm soooooo happy This Hamburg steak is really soft Hamburg steak is sometimes pretty hard because it's harden when it's made But this is more like fluffy bread This is brilliant It's seasoned by salted rice malt and this is so tasty It's mellow taste of salted rice malt It's savory, very gentle saltiness I can enjoy natural flavor of pork and beef and also rice malt Wow this is unbelievable I don't need to put any sauce for this That much it tastes so rich If you want something different, it's better to put Wasabi on Hamburg steak Wasabi makes it really refresh and even tastier! Wasabi works very good Bread is really fluffy It's so nice with this Hamburg steak Having bread with olive oil is also really good So these are pretty much about Kakunoshin Hamburg Steak Hamburg Steak is our favorite food And this Hamburg Steak is obviously better than others A bit pricey If you like to have great meat dishes in Tokyo station Kakunoshin Hamburg Steak is the great restaurant to stop at! Okay, let me share next restaurant and food! Omurice / Omelette Rice at Bistro Cleante Tokyo The next shop that I'd like to share is Bistro Cleante Tokyo This is a really famous shop for Omurice Omurice is fried ketchup rice wrapped by omelette It's a very popular dish in Japan We can enjoy some different style Omurice and dishes at the restaurant Inside of the restaurant is very cozy and relaxed space It's pretty big so from single person to big groups, every one can have great time over here And today, I'll take very authentic style Omurice in Japan And this is it This is old fashioned Omurice This is the origin of Omurice and the best Omurice in the history Egg is really melty and it's amazingly fluffy It's so buttery and it smells fantastic Egg looks completely cooked but no it's not Inside is still rare and oozy This is brilliant Ketchup rice is also really flavorful It tastes really rich of ketchup and also Consommé Consommé is like meat stock It has subtle different flavor This is amazing We normally eat rice and egg together And once we have them, it's incredible! This is the Omurice It tastes sooooooo good We can eat Omurice pretty much anywhere in Japan but this Omurice has absolutely next level I gurantee If you wanna have tasty Omurice in Tokyo station, I highly recommend Bistro Cleante Tokyo Okay, let's visit next restaurant! Farmed Bluefin Tuna & Seafood Rice Bowl at Kindai University Restaurant The next shop that I'd like to share is Kindai University Restaurant Kindai is a very famous for farming Tuna Kindai successed farming bluefin tuna and it was the first case in the history of tuna farming And we can have very tasty farmed bluefin tuna at the restaurant Not only bluefin tuna, we can also have fish meals Every one of them looks very good Inside of the restaurant is not that big It's a very casual space We can feel free to enjoy farmed bluefin tuna Today, I'll take Kindai red and white sushi in a wooden bucket All fish fry is from Kindai University And this is the meal We can have three different kinds of fishes Sashimi is shimmering It's so beautiful Fishes must be really fresh A bowl of miso soup, a simmred tuna and an Oshinko dish also come as a combo Tuna from Kindai is really tasty It tastes soooo rich This is lean part of tuna so that we can enjoy strong flavor of tuna Fatty part of tuna is also in the meal Lean part of tuna is already so tasty That means fatty tuna is even tastier!! I'm excited Rice is slightly seasoned by vinegar It tastes refresh and it's chewy I love this texture This rice is sooo moist and flavorful Miso soup is also really good It has gentle taste of Miso and seafood based soup stock It's mellow taste of Miso soup Fatty tuna is amazing It's so fatty Tuna fat is melting in my mouth Lean tuna was good but fatty tuna is absolutely tastier It's full flavor of tuna The best drink with seafood in Japan is of course green tea Its bitterness and astringency are well matched with seafood There're Japanese Kanji characters on the cup Each Kanji stands for fish name This is a very common style cup at Sushi restaurant This is really good for studying Japanese!! Kindai sea bream is so chewy It's whitefish so it tastes lighter than others but this simpleness is really good But it's of course tastes really rich of sea bream Sea bream is very famous fish in Japan It's so tasty Radish sprout is pretty common topping for seafood rice bowl It's really crunch and it slightly tastes refresh This is a good accent topping for Kaisendon! Horse mackerel is sooo good It's blue-backed fish and it sometimes has typical odor of fish But this mackerel is not fishy at all This is great It's so chewy It tastes richer than sea bream and lighter than tuna I would say, it's refreshing A side dish, simmered tuna is well cooked and tuna is really soft It's seasoned by soy sauce and some sugar I guess It tastes so dense of tuna This is the great side dish So these are about Kindai University Restaurant Does farmed fish sound good or bad for you? I don't know Wild fish could be tastier but this is amazing experiment and Kindai got achieved Farmed blue fin tuna is so tasty This is the one that I strongly would like you to try when you come to Tokyo station Okay, let's see next restaurant Kobe Beef (Wagyu Beef) Curry Rice at Toyoken The next shop that I'd like to share is Toyoken It's a extremely famous for European style restaurant The restaurant was found in 1889 in Mita Former emperor and prime minister also enjoyed dishes from Toyoken And one of the branch is in Tokyo station The main dish Toyoken is curry, but it's not normal curry, It's royal curry It also offers Matsusaka Wagyu beef dishes Matsusaka beef is super high brand and it's one of the tastiest Wagyu in the world but price is not that much if we eat here it's pretty reasonable so it's a great choice to eat Matsusaka beef too Inside of the restaurant is very modern but atmosphere is kind of classic too I would say it's really luxury space Today, I'll take two types of combination curry And this Matsusaka beef royal black curry and Matsusaka beef Hayashi rice curry It's so fragrant It smells sweet and also some spicy stuff This is nice Matsusaka beef royal black curry is not like ordinary curry It tastes so rich of Matsusaka beef and veggies I felt sweet for the first then gradually I felt some spice and spiciness but it's not spicy, only a little bit But I'm already sure this curry is so tasty It tastes soooooo dense Curry sauce is normally thinner than this but this royal black curry is so thick understand why it tastes so rich this much We normally have curry with rice and the combination between curry and rice are also fantastic Curry is our national food and it's very casual food so it costs 3520 Yen This is actually too much for curry but I guarantee this curry tastes exceptional Matsusaka beef and onion are in the curry These are really chuncky and Matsusaka beef is soooo tender It's so melty and it's soon loosen in the mouth when I eat it I don't need to chew it at all It's well stewed Hayashi rice is very similar with curry but it's tomato based sauce It generally tastes refresher than curry However, this Hayashi rice tastes so rich of tomato, beef, veggies and spice This is the richest Hayashi rice in my life Curry is better with rice in general but this Hayashi rice tastes super rich so it's also good with rice Hayashi rice sauce is really thick This is surprising! It's 2 or even 3 times thicker than common Hayashi rice sauce I can see Matsusaka beef, onion and mushroom in Hayashi rice sauce These are also really chuncky but it's well simmered and these are so soft Matsusaka beef is well matched curry and Hayashi rice too This is excellent Before I had this, I thought royal black curry would be better than Hayashi rice but actually I cannot say which one is better Both are really tasty These are definitely equal So these are pretty much about curry in Toyoken It's pretty expensive curry but this is the best curry rice I've ever had If you like to have the best curry or Matsusaka beef in Tokyo station I strongly recommend to have meals in Toyoken Okay, let's go and check next restaurant! Gyoza / Fried Dumplings and Boiled Dumplings at Tokyo Gyoza Stand Oolong The next shop that I'd like to share is Tokyo Gyoza Stand Oolong This is a Gyoza restaurant Gyoza is originally from China but nowadays, it's arranged in Japanese way and it becomes our national food Especially pan fried dumpling is very popular in Japan We can enjoy variety kind of Gyoza and other dishes over here Inside of the restaurant is very casual space It's so lively, many people come over here to enjoy Gyoza Gyoza mister makes gyoza at the restaurant from the scrach So we can have nice and fresh Gyoza at the restaurant Today, I'll order fried Gyoza and boiled Gyoza And these dishes are Gyoza Gyoza smells so nice Fried Gyoza is called Yaki-Gyoza Gyoza skin on the bottom is really crispy and top part is really chewy This is good It's great contrast It's bite sized so it's really easy to eat and this is great to share in group too Filling is coarse grained meat and chopped veggies This is amazing It's soooooo juicy and sooooo crunchy Meat juice is flooding out a lot It's slightly sweet and salty I guess it's seasoned by soy sauce and other seasonings Next one is Sui-Gyoza It's boiled dumpling This is completely different from Yaki-Gyoza Gyoza skin is soooo chewy I think filling is the same but I feel like it tastes slightly lighter than Yaki-Gyoza Meat juice is also wrapped inside so be careful not to get burnt when you eat I had Yaki-Gyoza and Sui-Gyoza I thought Yaki-Gyoza would be better for me but actually I love Sui-Gyoza the more! Sui-Gyoza has great balance between filling and Gyoza-skin!! It's so tasty So these are pretty much about Tokyo Gyoza Stand Oolon This is really casual place to stop and go When you feel peckish, it's the place to visit! Okay, let's see next place! Japanese Soba Noodles at Soba 29 Tokyo The last shop that I'd like to share is Soba Niku Tokyo This is a very casual Soba noodle restaurant But quality of Soba is absolutely more than the price Menu is very simple We can select from only 7 different soba noodles Inside of the restaurant is very common standing style Soba noodle restaurant However, there're some seats in another space so customers can sit and eat soba on their pace And today, I'll take cold soba with pork [spicy] And this is it I got soba noodles with pork, dried seaweed, spring onion, shredded leek dipping sauce and raw egg Soba noodles are really fragrant It has pretty strong smell, that mean it contains lots of buckwheat flour This is great Soba noodles are so chewy These noodles are twice bigger than common Soba noodles Soba tastes really good and so rich Soba is really good but it tastes too light so we normally eat soba with dipping soup Dipping soup is bonito base, soy sauce soup It soupy but it's so good It's slightly sweet and sour, it tastes so rich of bonito and soy sauce Menu mentioned it's spicy but only a little bit I don't feel spicy much Pork is pork belly It's not seasoned,I guess It's simply boiled and it looks it got some sesame oil Pork is well cooked and it's really tender Having pork with dipping sauce is even tastier Shredded leek and dried seaweed also work really good These are great toppings for Soba noodles I got egg so let's mix up with dipping sauce In Japan, Soba with egg is very common style to eat together We can safely eat raw egg in Japan so Japanese people love to have raw egg with many foods Egg makes dipping soup even tastier To put egg into dipping soup, soup is really mild and it's really smooth With egg or without egg, which one is better? In my personal opinion, with egg is much better I think it's really nice to eat soba without egg for first half and then having soba with egg for last half We can enjoy two different flavors So these are pretty much about Soba Niku Tokyo Price is reasonable but Soba tastes fantastic Anyway, standing style Soba noodle restaurant is traditional style And many locals come over here to eat Soba noodles If you wanna see real Japanese life and food in Tokyo staion Why don't you stop Soba Niku Tokyo to eat Soba noodles?
