but you know the Chargers also got a win and I'm sure Ben's well aware of that but you know like Ben just said you know got nothing but love for NFL Mike you guys should not be saying anything negative towards him he was a really cool dude and uh he knew his stuff about the Chargers I mean he was sitting up here and telling you that the Chargers were GNA beat this Raiders team and he was right but uh no we're gonna have a really good week of uh discourse I think that you know we learned a lot about all of our teams you know in week one and what they need to do to improve going forward yeah and you know what too I mean graph probably was coming here like damn you know what NFL Mike's not here we don't got a new representative here for this week I might have lost but you know what at least I'm not gonna get shots but you know what graphin and I see you behind the scenes now it is not one versus one boy it is three versus one we going in on tonight guys you know who it is the man suck everybody saying we'd be lucky to get one win uh you know what they were there they showed up and you know the rest of the season is what matters but you know what uh I feel on top of the world and that's at least one more week we're not talking about the Patriots tonight Kobe you know in the glory I'm basking in the glory real quick I mean sometimes interim coaches can come in and actually thoughts here let's start with you I mean Raiders and uh ra Raiders and Ravens excuse me that's a ton Twister There you guys right now are the uh heavy heavy heavy underdogs here with the over under being 41 and a half what are your quick thoughts on that right rightfully so we we look terrible out there SOI stadium in that second half Baltimore they're looking for some Revenge after that poorly officiated game out there at Arrowhead you know we're traveling out east early game I mean we're gonna be facing a really really angry Ravens team and until we can shuttle we can score more than 10 points I I think this is actually right so I was gonna say is that over under at 40 and a half because the Ravens are G to drop 40 and you guys just have to drop the other half like I I think that that's going to be a crazy matchup for uh you guys to go into Baltimore and try to take down that team that's pissed off and as they should be it's gonna be closer it's gonna be closer than you think so and I think that I do too man I'm taking it under on that I I don't I just I feel like that's a disrespect full line and 10 points is so much in the NFL and I I think that's going to fire up everybody on that Raider sideline man to be 10-point dogs in week two when uh that seems like a massive line to me hey it's all good man look no expectations we're gonna go in there and do what we got to do and hopefully it's enough let's just say that but you know what I'm I'm gonna change my tone on that I'm going to take the over because I believe that we have to find a way to get the offense going Baltimore that defense man in in the first half was a little shaky Mike when I was watching I'm like I don't know man like I know it's week one and you know usually they're like a well oil machine on the defens side of the ball and the offense side of the ball Baltimore looked a little shaky they they look like they they got to work on some things here they still have rwan Smith they have Kyle Hamilton it was a dog you know I mean and and other weapons which we'll talk about you know in the pre-recorded video but U I'mma take the over I think that we're going to put up 20 points I think we'll put up at least 20 so you think that the you think that the Ravens defense is going to be worse than the Chargers defense the Chargers defense was phenomenal actually good man they really like what NFL Mike said they were but here's the thing like was the Chargers defense really good or was the Raiders offense really bad or was it both let me say this because I know we're gonna get into it in a minute but I'm gonna say this yeah self-inflicted wounds I'm G tell you right now we had that game in the bag we gave it to the Chargers and what what they do like a team is supposed to they took it so but that defense played very well we cannot get the ground game going and you know mitu you look at the stats yeah over 200 yards in the air had a touchdown it wasn't all bad but we could not run the football man and they were all over M he was sacked four times you know I mean so that defensive line is for Real they have a nice linebacking core and um asan Samuels J was out there doing his thing too so I mean hey you know that defense is for real that's har Ball's bread and butter defense run the football yeah and you know what I mean let's see let's see if the uh the Raiders can kind of kind of bounce back here because 10 points I mean 10 point under that's disrespectful I know the Patriots were ninepoint underdogs that was the projected largest deficit by bet us last week and the Patriots took that personal the Raiders can take this personal you never know what could happen but all right let's see let's see I mean we got we got nobody here to represent the Chargers but y'all want to give your your quick thoughts on this one Panthers Chargers I feel like it's pretty obvious but that's a layup that's a layup yeah do too that's a layup Panthers are gonna be historically bad so yeah that's a it's a layup yeah it's a layup two two and0 Chargers easy crazy but yeah I think so and there there isn't Derrick Brown possibly out for the season as well yeah it's confirmed out for the season there you have it I mean come on Carolina they're going to be drafting in in the top two top three picks tops so yeah Chargers got that where are the Broncos and the Chiefs all right well oh this is a this is a fun game this is a fun game yeah let's let's talk about this one like what's the line set at Angles and Chiefs line set a six so right now you guys are the favorites and the over under is 47 and a half what do you think about that that's a really high over under I would take the under on points but I think that the the six spread I that makes sense listen Cincinnati always plays us really tough and you know in the regular season for the most part they actually do beat us but after watching that Patriots Bengals game man that's not a good Bengals team and granted it's week one but it did not I no offense Kobe like sorry okay my bad did what you had to do but that was a really bad Bengals team and like listen they're going to play the Chiefs better because they always do but they're gonna beat you guys what they're gonna beat you guys okay they are you lock that in and I'm taking over I'm locking it in so okay so against it's gonna be a shootout it's gonna be a shootout Burrow's gonna go out there and go crazy and guess why do the Chiefs get back-to-back home games we won the back toback championships back back home games like like only the Chiefs you get every call you get back-to-back home games you get an I would rather be playing on the road I I want some of those you know games to be played in December and in January in Kansas City I don't want to play two games at home C I think you should go to burad dude yeah I mean if if it's the the Bengals like we know and have known but if it's the Bengals we saw on Sunday I think six points is right so really I think we have a lot to figure out early on in the season but I would take the Chiefs winning by at least a touchdown T hi be back too right say what T Higgins should be back as well right yeah I mean I mean look that's going to be a shootout it's going to be a shootout man I saw a Twitter video of like burrow trying to hold a water bottle he just doesn't look not look like the same quarterback it's it's honestly pretty sad because he went from being you know a top three quarterback in the game to with that injury to his wrist man he's really shaky and really questionable and if you don't have a quarterback that can outd duel Patrick Mahomes it's gonna be really hard for you to win I mean we saw that you know on Thursday night Lamar Jackson almost did The Impossible and went down the field and scored but you know I'm sure we'll talk about that but he did he did score like that he was in and we all saw it you probably thought that girl's wearing a gold dress when it's freaking orange and blue dude I don't know what you're has the best comebacks I ever seen but you know what the resp to that fact the Bengals are going to be more motivated too because they obviously just lost against the Patriots and that was obviously a statement for the Patriots and and everyone's saying oh the Patriots weren't even good it was just you know the the Bengals suck they're going to hear that they're going to take that personal they're going to be more motivated here but I will say Joe burrow he actually got hit at one point and he he kind of hurt his wrist so he was flexing it so that's definitely going to be something to keep an eye on but let's continue down here you guys had 170 yards rushing right Kobe it's like 170 had 12 alone crazy that's nasty that's what that's what that's what the Chargers did to us in the second half they had like 28 rushing yards the whole game and then four plays four plays 129 yards rushing four plays jk dobbin's just Walker did very similarly to us but yeah I mean Broncos playing Steelers at home super letdown game for the Broncos because I think all off season long we've been ready for Russell Wilson to come back and I think that place was ready to explode and it's it's Justin fields from all accounts they came out Tomlin came out today and said it's gonna be Justin Fields I'm not scared of that Pittsburgh offense with Justin Fields running it but that Pittsburgh defense is legit uh I also think like it's hard to win in Mile High early on when dudes aren't in shape and that 5,280 ft of altitude is legit if you've ever been to Colorado and um so I I think three points is probably fair I I think the Broncos are GNA win straight up but I know you guys are going to think I'm a homer I've been what's funny is I agree with you Pittsburgh did not look great against Atlanta at all uh Justin Fields is not nothing to be afraid of you're at home I I I do believe that you're going to find it's going to be a lowc scoring Affair like it was with FC but I I definitely had it's going to be an ugly game but I got the Broncos winning and I hate to say that as a Raider fan oh man I was going to say this is a mid off like both of these teams are incredibly mid and so you know I don't know who ends up winning you know Pittsburgh see Pittsburgh has Tomlin though and I like Tomlin over over Peyton and and I think that could have something to do with it early on in the season as well but you know is it wrong to say that Justin Fields can outperform B Knicks B Knicks did not look very good in week one and so you know if we're picking just you know who has the better offense on paper it would probably be the Steelers but you know this game is being played in Denver it's a tossup man it could go either way I'm gonna pick Pittsburgh I'll pick Pittsburgh but like would I be surprised if Denver won no but this is gonna be what's the over under on this game 36 and a half 36 under absolutely under um so I I think this is going to be a fun game to watch but it's not going to be an entertaining game to watch it's going to be very ugly The Only Way Denver wins this game is if they can fin finally establish the run because I'm telling you now 99 yards on the ground and 35 yards of it coming from B Knicks it's not gonna get it done it's not gonna get it done so gavonte Williams needs to have a big day you know audri my guy had another Dame they need to have a big game because that defense is for real for real um if you guys can find a way to establish the run I got Denver winning that game Al righty guys well you heard it we're gonna be giving our previews for these games real in-depth analysis again that's going to be a pre-recorded video that drops later this week here preview for week two from each of these creators and their thoughts on each of these games but guys now is the time where you guys get roasted by each other I'm just gonna stand back and I'm G to watch maybe maybe roast you a little bit if you really need it but I feel like we got to start with the first game right I feel like that was one of the games of the week that was such a great way to kick off this NFL season Chiefs Ravens I mean there was a lot of good and a lot of bad to take from both of these teams some controversy on both ends but look Mike why don't you just kick this one off for both of us the Chiefs started off the season with a win I thought that game was incredible from start to finish and you know I think both of these teams are going to be towards the top of the league you know or the conference in wins and so who knows what the Chiefs win in week one is going to do for the playoff seating down the line but we saw a game that you know was close for the most part but the Chiefs got in the driver's seat and just kind of coasted until the fourth quarter where Lamar jackon decided to go you know play herob ball and almost tie the game and maybe even win the game uh that ball to Isaiah likely I know Ben thinks that he caught it which he did catch it but it was not a touchdown his foot was on the line the Chiefs escaped and it's a good thing that that ball was out of bounds because I I saw Harbaugh putting up the two fingers on the sideline they were going to go for two and the way they marched up and down on that last Drive I think that they probably would have gotten that two-point conversion and we probably would have lost in the NFL home opener in back-to-back years but we don't have to worry about that uh being one of the few teams in this uh live chat to have a win in week one feels pretty good I think that you know the biggest takeaways is that this Chief's offense is better already than they were last season I mean that big play ability Xavier worthy had two touchdowns in his debut the first time it's been done in and I don't even know how long and rasi rice went from being a guy that was probably considered a number three wide receiver maybe a number two wide receiver after that kind of performance and just what he is going to be like in this offense he's a legitimate camp to be a number one wide receiver I think he might have more catches than Hollywood Brown at the end of this season he looked fast he looked physical you could really tell that he improved a lot over the off season and it's just gonna make this Chief's offense better and and you know defensively Chiefs shut down Derrick Henry and for the most part they shut down Lamar Jackson's throwing ability there was a couple times where you know Lamar Jackson was forced to make a play and he couldn't do it because Lamar Jackson is not that guy in crunch time I've said it Time After Time when the game is on the line and he needss to go make a throw can't do it you saw him overthrow Z flowers that was an easy touchdown pass I think graphic could have made that throw and who knows if he makes that throw if the Chiefs hang on to win so I I think that once we get down to the uh playoff time it's really going to be important that the Chiefs got this win but I think that the Chiefs had a pretty good week one they they have an offense now that can push the ball downfield which they couldn't do last year a defense that even though they lost leria Sneed Jaylen Watson did a phenomenal job you know in coverage batting down multiple passes and it's week one like nobody's the final product in week one and if that's what we're seeing from this team in just one week the first week of the Season where most of the guys didn't really play substantial snaps in the preseason it would be a long season for the AFC West and a long season for the NFL if this is the offense that we see I let me tell you so you feel good about that wi like you think like oh we're good absolutely oh listen we we can talk about NFL mik at the beginning of the show but you can't talk about the refs like yeah dude that's the fact that I hear the refs thing every year every year yeah you guys get ridiculous calls bro um look clearly inbound the only way I can find it I'm not trying to I'm not trying to give myself promotion that's just the other one that's the only one I can find y'all look if you want do you legitimately think that that foot was in bounds I you're on mute Mike I can't I'm okay I know Isaiah likely my Coastal Carolina Breen man I'm a big fan white cleat white Yes Man 100% the fact that he came out the fact that he came out after the game and said if that's the best the Chiefs have they better watch out in the playoffs like that's clearly bulletin board material that you're putting up because you know that was not like the Chiefs are not a scary team anymore and I think they lost how can Baltimore say oh that if that's their best then we're we're GNA have them in the playoffs when a they have not had us in the playoffs and they haven't being able to beat us in the regular season either you got the win right yes kudos to you I understand that now please talk to me about these seven elal formations on Baltimore also talk to me about Joan Taylor literally fall starting every single play and not getting any calls here's the thing the Joan Taylor thing I don't think you guys understand how much he gets picked on for you know just getting off quickly because both teams do it everybody gets off like that laye Johnson got off like that for years got off like that for years and the whole like illegal formation thing with Baltimore's offensive line Baltimore's offensive line had three new starters on that unit and so they looked like trash like they were just horrible they were misaligned they couldn't block anybody and so okay you want to show it like Creed moves snaps the ball and he gets off it's a quick release early like on for two of them okay so what but why weren't they calling it both ways though Mike that's that's all I'm asking even Harbaugh was on the sideline saying did you guys aren't calling it you know my question my question is when has NFL officiating ever been called for both teams when when have they not when did the Chiefs not get the calls here's the thing the Chiefs put themselves in the position to get the calls oh my God that's called Kansas City Kobe Kobe knows a lot about that tuck Ru Kobe knows a lot about here's the thing I win or lose I've never blamed the refs we're just saying that is a a definite part of this that all like even unbiased National media are picking up on man um and I think everything we said about Travis Kelce was true he looked old and slow and I think the Ravens defense was set up to like the Kelsey you had talked all offseason about how he's not going to fall off um and I think the Ravens are learning how Derrick Henry getting handoffs out of shotgun for the first time in his career Lamar playing under Center to like make that mesh and I I just think if there's a rematch Baltimore beats you guys pretty easily I like they did last year Mike your offense is still scary still very scary I think they're better just coming from my perspective they are significantly better they were able to move the ball down the field they could not do that last year but you can't that with with the Aging tight end like like they're they're never going to be the Tyreek Hill like that that team was the best offense you guys have ever had I haven't brought up Travis Kelce in this entire conversation I am I am all I'm saying is this offense is still scary the weapon rice is a is a he's one of the ones Xavier worthy two crazy plays look man I still the the verdict is still out on him for me I'm sorry like was one week blown coverage by by by Humphrey and Company out there Baltimore easy walk-in touchdown the other one was that's the best defense in the league so if that's the best defense in the league making those mistakes what are we going to do against your defense I don't think that's the best defense in the league who's the best defense in the league the 49ers the Jets I mean there's there's other defenses the Cleveland Browns there's I mean a lot of those guys didn't look good this week but I'm just saying those were the best defenses in the league Baltimore is probably a top five top seven unit but I don't think they're the top defense in the league number one defense last year who Baltimore Baltimore was the number one scoring defense in the league if I'm just saying if you see them you see what they did like and once again it's week one I got the Niners defense over there period I think that they're way more punishing than the Baltimore Ravens but I digress your offense is still clicking Patty didn't even really have to do a lot you know I mean what what what did he threw the ball 28 times 20 for 28 still efficient 291 yards he had to tell he had an ugly interception you know I mean but I mean PCO that's that's the guy dog like as a Raider fan I got to give you guys your credit on hitting in the seventh round on him Pacho is one of the ones bro like he is definitely one of those ones but I mean hey if they could continue this you know you guys may be Hest something but all I'm saying is Travis Kelce like Ben said he is starting to he's looking like he's starting to show a low AG starting to get up there a little bit star to slow down littleit I think that's fair I don't think that's fair because Travis Kelce just didn't have a crazy game in a week where two of our receivers went crazy like you expect him to get eight or nine catches when you know Holly or I that's not Hollywood Brown Rashi rice goes for seven and a buck of uh I guess 103 and then uh worthy goes for two touchdowns like there's just not enough carries to go along and enough touches and so like yeah he might not had a huge game in this week there will be a couple games this year where you're like man Travis Kel is still Travis Kelce but I don't expect him to you know have 1,400 yards that one time that he had you know an insane year but he doesn't need to be and if anything I prefer that because Travis Kelce being used more sparingly means can play longer and so he's always going to be there on third down when it gets really tough but I didn't like last year how Travis Kelce had to carry the entirety of the load offensively because there was nobody else and this year there is two other guys that can legitimately give you that production and we haven't even seen Hollywood Brown play yet and so I really like how this offense is constructed and so yeah Travis Kelce might not have had a great game in week one but I don't think the game plan was ever to get him super super involved I think they saw a weakness over the middle and they targeted Rashid rice and it clearly worked that's the scary thing is that your number one option still hasn't even played yet like that that's the scary thing because Hollywood Brown is your is your number one I mean yeah I think I think we might have a crew conversation by a week five or six I think Rashid might take that spot oh okay Rashi looks insane real real talk real quick look I I think Xavier worthy I think that guy's GNA be a dog I think everybody's right now throwing shade at the Buffalo Bills like I don't think they should I mean he didn't really fit the bills system he didn't fit the scheme like Keon Coleman I think fits the bills system a whole lot better you know just like the Chiefs they got luggy I mean Xavier Worthy's a perfect SI a perfect fit in that offensive system but look how the hell man how the hell is rasheid rice still playing football that that guy gotta be locked behind bars I just don't understand it but look Darcy my my one question for you my one question for you it's not even about these I we know we know that Taylor be jumping off the line every single time he was the most penalized uh player in football last year for a reason but like dog what's this what how do you even explain this one this down the field this dude don't even look like Andy Reid by the way do you think Andy Reid's running down the field out defitely not why why did why did they think that that was was Andy Reid why did they Grant him the timeout they didn't even say anything about it afterward please touch upon this am I missing something I'm not an official so I can't tell you why they gifted it to us the political Chiefs answer this is exactly what you're gonna get I'm not an official I can't tell you why but like listen any other team is you should know better than anybody when you are good you are given more of a leash I guess you could say and so we've earned that right listen there will Bea there will be calls when we play you guys that I'll be like well that wasn't right but that's the thing NFL officiating is not consistent it was not consistent at all and it's never been consistent like why are we acting like consistently in your favor dude like they would let Taylor Swift call a timeout because she's not sitting in a box with Britney Mahomes you know what I mean like it's just those are facts dude here's the thing over the past couple years specifically it's been like oh we couldn't beat the Chiefs so it's the ref's fault it's the ref's fault that our quarterback can't throw for more than a 100 yards and it's the ref's fault that we're just a sorry ass team so yeah I understand like it's frustrating to see a team get certain calls but listen calls go both ways to to say that the Broncos the Raiders didn't have some questionable calls in week one that's how football's played there's always officiating miscues on both sides of the ball maybe the Chiefs get more of them maybe they don't some weeks are better or worse than others listen Kobe just said it Joan t was the most penalized tackle in the game last year so how how are the Chiefs getting all the calls because that every single time bro take your your Chiefs fandom out of this as a football fan what is this it was it shouldn't have been called okay that's that's even that but listen here's the thing what are you supposed to have me do I'm not an official no bro but you're Chiefs SP you you represent them here at the AFC West round table I'm just asking for your take because if any other team would have did this this would have been they would have been penalized bro your defensive coordinator called a timeout Dary like like what are we doing here I I still don't think if any other team did this they' get penalized they might not get the timeout but I don't think they'd be penalized I was actually shocked that that they didn't call that 15 yards on roquan Smith on that push here's the thing I don't think that was a flag so like interesting but it's Patrick Mahomes so Darcy I'm gonna I'm gonna have your back here a little bit I'm have your back here because look the the problem I think with the Chiefs is is just that like it's it's the obvious ones if there's controversial calls it's going to happen all the time and I said this over on TI I was like look the refs are people they're they're human they're gonna make mistakes they're not going to see things it's easy to see it on TV it's easy to talk in hindsight it's just the obvious things like like this one is obvious I mean the the eyes are on you right it's just like the players that use the hip drop tackle I mean Jets quarterback using you know Michael Carter being one of them all eyes are on you how do you not call that it's the obvious calls that I think call the problem but you know I mean we got to we got to you know back up Darcy slightly here it's not like the Baltimore Ravens didn't get away with some things obviously that push on Patrick Mahomes out of bounds by Roan Smith I mean that one felt pretty obvious that he was out of bounds and they didn't call that so there were definitely calls that went both ways but I just think that with the Chiefs there were just like obvious calls that you cannot possibly get around that just weren't C and I think that's the problem I think the biggest issue is the inconsistency and that's not even just for the Chiefs it's inconsistent all the time you can throw the um you know you could look at your game what happened in the Raiders game that I was like oh that's not was it the was it the catch by Mor or merri maybe I'm just tripping I don't I don't know the like the uh interception what what what game your game the Raiders Chargers game didn't he catch that ball no no he didn't okay well then I was wrong but to be honest he should have secured it it hit him in the numbers then it bounced around and it hit the ground yeah okay yeah if if you think that the Chiefs get really unfavorable calls smash that like button and we'll just see what the people think you know what I mean we we'll just it's a chat full of Raiders fans of course they're going to hit the smash butt we got two Chargers in here we got two of them they're arguing in the comments section but look we just we just ranted about the Chiefs game for a little while here rightfully so I mean like I said a lot of takeaways postseason team like I mean I don't feel like this is going to be the only week we're talking about the Chiefs and and controver Lamar had a chance Kobe Lamar had a chance that game Lamar had a chance too yes you put the cavat on at the end yeah I put the caveat on that on Tik toac too so don't come at me okay he had a chance to still despite the calls put this game away what does he do he doesn't set himself he he's not a winner Z flowers wide open in the back of the end zone flowers and then he finally hits Isaiah likeley on his third attempt where a guy's wide open and unfortunately football's a game of inches and he just wasn't lucky enough that time like yeah they had a chance to win it it came down to the quarterback yeah like at the end of the day one call could have made this game different but they still had a chance to win and they just didn't and they were going for two they were trying to get the Chiefs out of there they definitely would have gone for yeah so they were going for two there but Ben let's get on over to you why don't you break down this game from the Broncos because man I'm I'm feeling for you I'm feeling for you a little bit you know I mean b knck he was the highest graded quarterback not quarterback but quarterback according to PFF throughout the preseason and he was taken advantage of which is never okay so why don't you talk about this oh my goodness am I still like technically paleo if I just like eat my words right now uh because there was a lot a lot of things were said a lot of words were said uh at the end of the day like my I still I'm very very optimistic I think this is week one but I want to break down what happened and then let you all tell me how wrong I was I guess but uh going into Seattle first first away game first start for B Knicks rookie quarterbacks only win 26% of their first start on the road and he played a much tougher defense than Caleb Williams did and still put up way better numbers qbr his passer rating all that way better than Caleb Williams I think at the end of the day it was still a much bigger upgrade over Russell Wilson uh he was able to avoid those big sacks but I think the the big great Point uh the the great shining point of of this team is our defense and we had two safeties in the game we had an interception we caused a muffed kick uh and got the ball back and had him in in plus territory a number of times and we just weren't able to to get that in and and to score and so that was discouraging for sure but everything I said about our Edge rushers being nasty came to fruition uh they had um their offensive line was actually healthy I was expecting them to be without Conor Williams and he ended up star in the game and even with that it it felt like Jonathan Cooper who were able to kind of steal in the draft because he had some heart issues out of Ohio State he had two sacks right off the bat was he was the one who whose pressure really caused one of the holds in the end zone that caused our safety and for the first half we just absolutely dominated that Seattle uh offense and we were up 1310 at half and it felt like dude everything I said is is coming to fruition and this this thing's going to happen and second half Kenneth Walker had the ball and just ran it down our throats and our our biggest Achilles heel last year was our ability to stop the run and it felt like we had that solved at the start of the game and and I think what a lot of commentators are saying is that because the Broncos weren't able to control the rock um and and win the time of possession in the second half that defense was just gassed and uh Denver Broncos lost 26 to2 in one of the toughest places in the entire NFL to play I think three of the teams in this in this group chat right now would go into Seattle and have a really hard time as well and uh I don't think bonick had a lot of favors done for him I think first off Shawn pyton all the the talk and all the hype I've been spewing about him being one of the most inventive play callers there was none of that like we didn't see a lot of the stuff that he showed during the preseason we didn't see uh any quarterback Keepers he he had the uh he clocked in as one of the fastest um you know they do those like ESPN like GPS trackers or whatever he hit 20 miles an hour which was faster than any non-wide receiver in the league and so bonix can move we didn't see him any of that and uh he his receivers who I'd been touting a lot as being the dudes were the worst receiving core with yards after the catch averaging 2.6 yards after the catch so there was a lot of two-yard completions that went no further than that uh and then our running backs were looked exactly like they did last year I'd convinced myself that because I I really had blamed everything on Russell Wilson that because teams were loading the box to stop him or um or because the teams knew he couldn't throw deep they were loading the box to stop our run and even with bone Knicks our our running backs were making nobody Miss and were the worst running back crew as far as uh what is the the stat where uh yards after hit or whatever yards after contact that they had zero yards after contact so very disappointed in that audre K looked fantastic he was the only running back who looked great and he only carried the rock like three times because he straight up like noan Mareno to dude like sick hurdle and fum F the ball which we recovered but Shawn Payton is like old school and if a rookie fumbles he takes him out uh so that that was discouraging but Shawn Payton came out afterwards and said this loss wasn't on Bo none of us helped him out I didn't help him out with the play calling he he even said in his press conference after like he he gathered the wide receivers during the game and said hey we got to help this guy out he's doing great right now um and so I I know rookie quarterbacks on the road that's tough and he looked better than Caleb Williams who played at home against a inferior defense I also think Shawn Payton's inability to you know make a great game plan he was playing against Mike McDonald who is importing that Raven system to Seattle but they didn't show any of what they were going to be doing during the preseason it was all vanilla and because of that it's like yes he's a rookie head coach and you should cook him but you didn't really have have tape on what that was going to look like with the talent that He has defensively and that really showed so I I think glass half full I'm saying our defense looked sick and if they can do that if they play like they did in the first half we'll be in every single game this year and then you just hope that like Josh Allen whose first game was horrible and John Elway who was benched during his first game and pton Manning who was benched during his first game that Bo is just going to keep learning this and won't make the same mistakes twice respect man Respect by the way tell your your damn Broncos organization that I hate them for not getting Jameson Williams going man I put him on on fantasy over Chris Godwin and I lost because of it and I will forever be salty for it but let me tell you with the Patriots playing the Seahawks um I guess thank you for not winning because I feel like they would have been extra Mo motivated coming into uh that's and that's why we we looks like we did Colby we see you man you were helping me man I really I really appreciate that go in on Ben guys go in on Ben I'm shocked though that that audri only had two carries and he averaged seven to clip he had 14 yards yeah he had a fumble but he was the only guy that essentially was was really putting up production I mean glin had 27 yards B Knicks had five carries for 35 yards on the touchdown you know I mean so I just javante Williams couldn't get it rolling at all he averaged 2.9 a clip I meanes how do you how do you get away from odri I understand the you know the frustrations of a young kid that fumbled the football but this is your future at the running back position like you got to put him back out there and allow him Zeus our running back fumbled guess what happened the next play when we got the ball back he was the first one to get the ball back you know I mean like that's what you do with young players I hate that old school mindset that that that Shawn Payton has of take these guys out you know these are young kids they're different than us when we were coming up this is a different this is a different generation like like you got to let these guys have it man build them confidence up let him get that momentum audri is gonna be a phenomenal running back at the NFL level but under sha pton if he's gonna do sit him because of this kind of [ __ ] I mean come on man but I mean other than that you shouldn't have Bo Knicks his first game we're talking about this behind the scenes what he throw he threw the ball 46 47 times you know what I'm saying like and so he only averaged like 3.3 a clip that's nasty you should never have your guy because once again he's that's gonna get in his mental it's gonna get in his mental it's only gonna get more difficult from here you know what I mean so sea pman poorly poorly coached game by him I just I don't understand this some of these old school philosophies you gotta get away from that you know I mean but yeah and and that's the thing like at what point Ben would you feel like you could almost say that maybe Shawn Peyton is not the guy to lead the Broncos because listen I I think you could look back at his tenure with the Saints he had Drew Brees one of the best quarterbacks of all time yeah and he went to one Super Bowl one Super Bowl and listen it is hard to get to that game but once and those Saints teams in the late like 2010s were stacked like absolutely stacked and so you know what makes you think that you know he's just going to have that you know switch up now with a rookie quarterback who's 24 years old and right away you have him throw 50 times in his first game like listen that is just dysfunction like that is total dysfunction by the Broncos coaching staff and listen you guys can't run the ball I almost wonder if you had Tim Patrick in this game if you would have had any more yards after the catch yes D all were saying that yeah be included you got a Speer out there Marvin Mims that was targeted once dude and that's once targeted one time when I saw how they used when I saw how they used Xavier worthy I'm like why are we not using Marvin Mims like that you know to your point Darcy of like how long will it be until people are starting to say that uh I'm this is the first time I I've like had any shade whatsoever to throw at Sean if we look like this all year long I think we'll all be saying that man because I think it was easy last year to blame the offensive ineptitude on Russell Wilson and I think if if we see that this guy who Shawn Payton has bragged to everyone about like being his guy and if he can't get it done with him then I think we all will be saying that and when you have the richest owner in sports they move on from that kind of guy quick you know what I mean um and also you need to make sure that Russell Wilson doesn't have a Resurgence in Pittsburgh because if he looks good oh man that's a that's a bad look but they're even saying like he's not actually hurt right now that this is kind of like a save face move for the Pittsburgh Steelers which we we've had that exact same thing happen here there's talk that that stuff happened all the way back in Seattle when when they knew that the jury was out on him that he had this injury pop up Ben to the other thing too I mean courtand Sutton here I mean targeted 12 times with only four receptions I mean I feel like the biggest problem with Denver is y'all were so predictable and and you kind of Hit Upon it with the head coaching I kind of feel like I wonder if that's why Bill bellich also isn't a head coach right is because this this old school of coaching 2000s 2010s this hard love like hard end of coaching I hate to use this way but like it's kind of referred to as like the the military esque way of coaching people kind of know it as right like that's just not what what guys are responding to and that's why bich che's not a coach right now just it doesn't work it's you know these guys want players coaches they want people who are gonna hype them up who who who who show that love who show that praise right they want good atmosphere and good love and right now that's what I know like my Patriots they're switching to right now because that's what the the best head coaches in the NFL who coach that way are really the most successful coaches in the Gardner mitu man he had no time to breathe it seemed like every time he hiped the football somebody was already in his lap and I see a lot of people already out there getting mad at menu it's menu's problem and it's his fault no the o line did not hold up Cen Miller looked terrible out there yesterday Cody white here terrible Andre James our Center absolutely ass Dylan par was eh mford all right tackle played okay but um Y Line didn't hold up and that affected the ground game Zeus couldn't get it rolling I mean you know he had a few few nice runs one of them he fumbled the football uh it was just the tale of once again us self-inflicted wounds um the defense was gassed at the end of the at the end of the game we were down 16- 10 fourth and one at their 43 yard line and um our head coach did not have any confidence in the offense to go out there and get one yard and he paid for it um we decided to punt the football pinned him down in like the 10 yard line and once next thing you know JK Dobbins is off to the house for a 61 yard um the defense was gassed it was a bad call by AP he should have allowed I would have lined up Brock Bowers at the HB to go get that yard like real talk I would have snuck it if I had to I could have lived with the fact that if we went for it and didn't get it I'm cool I'm okay with it but that was just the end energy that was around our team yesterday you know just self-inflicted wounds AP did not have a great coach a great you know coaching debut you know it's technically it's his first St as a the official head coach um Patrick Graham caught a great game on the defensive side of the ball but we couldn't get to Justin Herbert the Chargers offensive line was phenomenal Max had one sack and then next you know boom after that really nothing a few pressures here and there but um Herbert was kept clean one sack you got you got to give Joe all his credit on the right side he had a hell of a game against a superstar defensive end and then khil Mack was just doing khil Mack [ __ ] you know all over the place um Puna Ford had a big game for him as well um the offense just could not get it rolling it looked very Josh McDaniel um Sunday that offense just couldn't score Daniel Carlson missed a 49 y um inside of building which would usually would be a chip shot to him missed that just everything went wrong for us uh pretty much in that second half and you know man we we're going to have to clean some things up but I'm going tell you right now gy man the play calling was absolutely terrible there was one play we went for it I believe on fourth and one at like the 50 yard line early on in the game and he did this delayed hand off to zamir white it was a terrible terrible call um from the jump Luke gatsy man this is why he was like my fourth or fifth option out there is the OC to come in and take over um you know this up this season it was other guys that I wanted the qbx of the world the cliff kingsberry so on and so forth but um gety man called a terrible terrible game we couldn't get the ground game going at all Alexander Madison salute to him our number two back um had a pretty good game for us in the passing game um he had a 30 yard uh tutty uh leaped over the defender really really great play by him uh Brock Bowers had a really really um you know really big game for a rookie uh he pretty much damn near lettuce and receiving yards he had six receptions for 58 yards he was targeted more than anybody Devonte technically had a yard more than him on five receptions Devon Adams was only targeted six times you guys you have one of the best wide receivers in the game targeted six times jacobe Myers big game with him three receptions 61 yards uh but man you know and where was the Deep ball you know we we couldn't throw we couldn't we couldn't throw the football down the field because Gardner muu had no time to even allow a play to develop in the pocket he was running for life um and pretty much every play that he made with was with his legs got to be real with you um turn the ball over bad turnover threw the ball behind the line of scrimmage khil Mack returned it to the 10 yard line and from there it was just kind of downhill guardner threw a pick in garbage time really didn't matter at that point we were already gonna lose anyway I think we were already down 22 to10 and then the air white fumbled man definitely was crushed so I'mma say this man salute to the Chargers defense they did their thing their offense struggled though you guys like I'm telling you Herbert did not have a great game by any means 17 for 26 he only had 144 yards in the air he had one touchdown um to lab makoni the slot slot receiver which looked really good he had five receptions for about 40 yards um Gus Edwards could not run the football once again I said late in the game they only had 28 rushing yards Gus Edwards ended up with 11 carries for 26 yards they were not getting it done in the ground game but JK Dobbins ripped off three or four big plays they ended up being 130 yards and there you go we ended up losing in Sofi in in Raider fashion we're fighting fans and the uh in the audience and we're fighting people in in you know I mean in the parking lot the pink lot and it is what it is but you know what I I gotta own this we definitely went out there and I'm gonna say this pause we beat ourselves Raiders referees man you could say refs we're one and0 and you're not like man that was a horrible game I mean that was the one game that I wanted to watch more than any other game this weekend and listen it's because I listen to you graphic and and Ben talk all offseason about how your teams are going to be so great and how they're going to get off to a good start and how they may have a chance to win like nine or 10 games grab I didn't you say that they were gonna win 11 at best like best case scenario 11 wins stealing if we can reach our full potential 11 wins their stealing is not 11 wins and I think that you guys you guys lost to a bad Chargers team like what everything you said about the Chargers it's true they're not a good football team but you guys man that was a rough game and and the same thing that I said to Ben about Shawn Peyton at what point do you have the same same conversation about AP like I think that he is he's a players coach he's a good for the culture guy but man he might not know how to coach ball and that's a problem I'll say this and I said this on my shows since the Sunday Sunday game I've spoke on AP everybody knows on my channel I was a Jim Harbaugh guy 1A AP 1B period if Ben Johnson wasn't an option those were the two guys that I wanted if Ben Johnson ends up leaving Detroit which I think he will if AP can't get it done this year give me that offensive mind with Patrick Graham on the defensive side the ball and we're cooking I'll tell you this I said it on my show I am tired of the Rah ra Raiders four no 64 apolla and black Air Forces and cigars I want results and you know there was a few bad you know calls there game management the timeouts it's just it was a poorly coached game by AP all across the board he's the one that hired L gety when when Cliff kingsberry decided to keep walking he brought him in that was his guy that he brought in and I know Devonte probably had some say in that because of their time in Green Bay together but at the end of the day AP you got to do a better job all that talking and Rah [ __ ] it means nothing on Sundays because every other team does the same [ __ ] behind closed doors so it is what it is but even at the same time man you can't even blame it all on AP because you're your team is not as offensively stacked as you know you may have led on to believe I think Gardner mchu he wasn't the problem in this game lead on if this offense was going to be outstanding I never said that well here's the thing if they're gonna win 11 games they've got to be something offensive defense defensive minded team in this NFL you cannot win 11 games with the defense it just takes more offensively especially in a more offensive driven League you've got to have Playmakers and you have Playmakers but your quarterback like I'm not blaming it on Garner mchu but he's never going to be the reason you lose but also never be the reason that you win and so you guys are kind of stuck in this weird no man's land where you're not bad enough to get a good pick but you're not good enough to make the playoffs and so it's like we've been in patory for for a while though Dar we were there with with with with DC but it's not a good place to be it's almost like pick one or the other because even if you're if you're bad there's almost something better about that because okay at least you get a first round draft pick a high first round draft pick and then you can kind of rebuild your team maybe get the quarterback of the future but right now I mean listen I I think that that that week one game it's week one so it doesn't mean a ton in the grand scheme of things but that Raiders team did not look good at all not at all not at all bad the defensive side of the ball though we look great we didn't get any turn too right like he'll be back yeah no and and there's already rumors he's on the IR supposed to miss the first four weeks there's rumors right now that he may potentially be out longer than that you know what I mean so and I'm talking about season ending there's there's some stuff going on I'm not going to put that into the universe but I've Been Told and I've seen some things even some NFL sources that have said that Co this injury May prolong throughout the season it's a contract year form you hate to see it for a young kid man they had a big year last year but um I mean look the defense we still have some some some bright spots there Roberts Spain had a big game for us Jack Jones was locked down on one side uh uh our secondy year guy out of Maryland our other Corner man he had a phenomenal joran Bennett nobody they couldn't throw on him Justin Herbert looked his way twice and went away from him completely so you know our secondary looked good the safeties were eh Marcus EPs and Trayvon Merck had a very very sketchy day but um I think once we get rooll and then the defense starts to get some turnovers I think the offense to start rolling a little bit more I'm not expecting this offense you guys to to be a team that's gonna go out there and score 30 points a game it's this that's not how this is designed but a gardner MCH or Aiden no Connell it's not going to happen you're right we have to secure the quarterback but one thing is we have to secure our coaching staff first and is this the guy we shall see it's only week one he's five and5 he's definitely helped change the culture and everything around the energy around this team but now it's time for results and we shall see yeah yeah for sure and and real quick I what I'll say too about this game is it's just like you I feel like that defensive line for the Raiders you know there was there was so much potential from from the pass rush you get one sack there was you know a lot of talk about it even from me saying they could be the best in the league and then you go ahead and you let Dobbins run all over you even if you take away that big 61 yard play you were still averaging like just over eight yards on average for him and you just you're never going to win football games that way but Ben did you have any thoughts on this game before we wrap it up here want to quickly get to the super chats that we had and then uh end this one off yeah definitely surprised because I I was just believing whatever graphs said and I'm I'm honestly afraid of him like I just feel me so you know what I mean like no that that it is uh I I think the AFC West other than than M Darcy is wide open for the Broncos to to slide in and I I'm not scared of the Chargers or the
