THERE WAS SO MUCH CONFLICT AND CONFUSION. STEPPING INTO 2024, IT REALLY FELT LIKE A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. IT'S FELT LIKE A RELEASE. AND IT FEELS LIKE WE HAVE A CHANCE FOR A NEW BEGINNING AS A FAMILY TO UNDERSTAND AND LEARN AND GROW, BUT TO ALSO STEP INTO SOMETHING THAT IS JUST A NEW VERSION OF WHO WE ARE NOW. >> I WOULD IMAGINE THERE WAS ONLY ONE CONVERSATION FOR SO LONG. >> YEAH. >> YOU KNOW? AND THERE COMES A TIME, NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE, NO MATTER WHAT SETTING YOU ARE IN, SUDDENLY THERE IS A DIFFERENT CONVERSATION. IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT HIS PASSING. >> TRULY, IT REALLY IS. IT WAS ABOUT SIX MONTHS BEFORE I ACTUALLY, MYSELF, DANCED. AND THAT'S WHY FOR ME THIS MESSAGE OF KEEP DANCING THROUGH IS SO SPECIAL BECAUSE IT TOOK ME A SECOND. IT TOOK ME -- >> AND YOU ARE A DANCER. >> IT'S WHAT I DO. IT'S MY PLACE OF HEALING AND COMFORT. AND IT TOOK ME A VERY LONG TIME TO EVEN HAVE THE COURAGE TO DO IT FOR MYSELF. THEN WHEN I DID, I JUST FELT SO MUCH FREEDOM AND MY KIDS WERE THERE FOR ME AND CELEBRATED WITH ME. MY DAUGHTER, WHO IS HERE WITH ME TODAY, WHO IS LOVELY, WAS AT MY SIDE WHEN I FIRST DANCED. THIS MESSAGE OF "KEEP DANCING THROUGH," WE HAVE TO SPREAD THAT. IT GOT ME THROUGH. IT'S GETTING MY KIDS THROUGH IT NOW. IT'S BEEN SO WONDERFUL. >> IT'S LITERALLY DANCING BUT ALSO HAVING OPTIMISM IN THE FACE OF DARKNESS, AND THE FACT THAT YOU PUT IN BOOK OUT, YOU WROTE IT WITH YOUR HUSBAND IN 2021. THERE MUST HAVE BEEN PARTS OF YOU DO I PUBLISH THIS, DO I NOT. WAS IT A HARD DECISION? >> IT WAS BECAUSE THERE WERE MOMENTS WHERE SELFISHLY I WANTED TO HOLD IT JUST FOR US. IT WAS THE LAST PROJECT WE WORKED ON TOGETHER. >> ALL ABOUT YOUR FAMILY. >> YOU I CAN'T. IT'S FOLLOWING A DAY IN OUR LIFE. WHEN I READ IT BACK LAST YEAR, I WAS, LIKE, THIS MESSAGE IS TOO BIG TO NOT BE SHARED. AND QUITE LITERALLY FOR MYSELF AND FOR MY KIDS, THE ONLY THING THAT I CAN DO IS I HAVE TO KEEP DANCING THROUGH.
