Riley luk joins us now hello Riley uh on a day where we could see some thunderstorm Janet oh dear across Southern Manitoba will they be severe uh we could see some uh thunderstorms severe in nature uh the biggest risk of that happening kind of south of the Trans Canada Highway uh into Southeastern Manitoba this afternoon uh we do have a pretty uh I'll call it a high risk of some severe weather Hail to the size of golf balls potentially uh wind gusts 100 plus kilometers an hour uh and the risk of a tornado especially in that Southeastern corner of the province doesn't mean any of this is going to happen just that the ingredients are there and that the risk is there for uh some severe weather through the later afternoon hours other than that a pretty widespread risk through the West man region and into Winnipeg of uh some thunderstorm activity through the later afternoon and into the evening as well we are seeing a few sort of scattered stray showers like we've kind of seen through the morning hours here in southern Manito I know we to get couple of little showers through the morning uh here in the Winnipeg region but otherwise we're looking at a mainly Sunny sky at the moment like I said a few scattered showers but as we get into uh what's ahead over the next couple of days by the time we get to late afternoon we do see that risk of a thunderstorm across Southern Manitoba otherwise a mainly clear night maybe a few scattered showers through the morning hours tomorrow once again and into the afternoon slim risk of a thunderstorm once again tomorrow but otherwise we're looking at uh mix of sun and clouds throughout the day tomorrow and into Friday as well mainly sunny day ahead for most of us in Manitoba right now uh 18 Dees in Winnipeg and Porter La Prairie 21 in both morn Winkler and Melita Thompson's at 16 uh Churchill at 2 at the moment uh we're looking at a high of 27 this afternoon in Mita 24 in Brandon 23 in Winnipeg risk of thunderstorms across Southern Manitoba this afternoon 18 in dolphin and gimly uh also 18 with a mainly Sunny sky in Thompson uh and really we're looking at temperatures is climbing as we get toward the weekend Janet 21 tomorrow with a Chance of scattered showers 26 though for Friday uh 24s and 25s for the weekend
