this great state okay so obviously the football team feels like it's all the way back West Virginia went through a little bit of a thing last year feels like we're going to be back West Virginia basketball has an incredible history you're obviously one of the pieces of it all what's should people that don't know a lot about West Virginia know about West Virginia basketball you think gritty tough I mean you come into you come into the Coliseum you going to have a long night that's all they need to know that's all they need to know you felt like you were ready for NBA basketball coming through West Virginia and when you have that playoff Run is it like dreams coming true in real time how do you kind of take it all in as it's taking place with the Knicks I mean honestly you know hard work preparation you know and just trusting in God honestly just making sure you know I'm trying to do everything I can to help the team win so it feels right honestly Conor has a question for you yeah dude obviously a big storyline for the Knicks this off season is the Villanova Knicks are you going to be able to bring in maybe some West Virginia guys maybe even it out a little bit I think I definitely need to yeah I think I think they got some guys that are going to be going to be uh Pro uh Pro ready for sure hell yeah uh how do you feel uh going into the off season obviously you are incredibly wealthy right now congratulations congratulations appreciate ear uh what are you working on what are you getting better at and how do you view like NBA basketball versus college basketball now I mean thankfully I went here um coach got me right definitely preparing me well for the Le prepar for the league um so honestly I try not to be onedimensional I try to work on my whole game um obviously people I started off as a a great defender and you know I worked on my game really hard to become a great shooter so honestly just making sure I can run the team Ty has a question for you yeah dud a lot of people obviously with Tom Tibido talk about like hey he's he's just going to run you into the ground until your legs break but coming to West Virginia and playing that gritty style do you feel like when you got there it's like oh okay I'm I'm ready to play for a coach like this yeah without a doubt I mean treadmills you guys know about the treadmills no no tell me you know about the treadmills no these are Huggies Huggies treadmills Huggies treadmills I mean shout out Javon Carter treadmill mentality um man any any mistake you have turnover missed box out shoot missed free throw not finishing the and one treadmill what 15 mil per hour for about 40 seconds hop right back into the drill so it's almost like the Nicks or the perfect place for you with absolutely so when you guys play against like the Pacers you know in Indiana what is it about them and uh we got a chance to watch you live it was so cool that every Nicks fan screams d as soon as you get the ball what was the ride like through the playoffs obviously as we all watch it happen I mean it was amazing I feel like you know just a few things at the end could have gone our way would have been totally different yeah maybe I you know that's a part of the game and I think you know the pieces we added everything uh is coming together really well how do you feel about the energy here on campus for this big Penn State game and obviously you would misses for the world we're lucky that you stopped by but how do you feel about the energy on campus right now I feel like I feel like they could be a little louder right now I feel like it could be a little louder right now that's what I'm talking about that's what I'm talking about hoping for that uh Deuce before we let you go is there any way you can shoot some basketballs towards that hoop right there for these wonderful people there's a guy here Logan that was here at 6: a.m. wearing that white hat right there he's a junior he's on a couple scholarships but not all of them if you make your one of your first three shots I will pay the rest of that guy's tuition boom let's go baby confident where am I shooting it from you tell me is the
