[Music] gin with 27 years you are in the beach show how do you feel uh just very very proud to be here you know I feel like a lot of hard work is what got me here and um I think uh just trying to enjoy every moment you know never take anything for granted and it's a blessing to be able to be on this field with this team and just trying to take it all in you grew up in South Florida watching your dad right Jeff Kine Mr Marlin how do you think play in the same game of your father it's uh it's a dream you know I think uh I always you know thought and trusted that someday it would happen but I think the fact that it's here and it's now and I'm living it uh I still got to like pinch myself I feel like you know just coming on this field today when I got here and uh just looking around and being the one that's on the field and I'm I'm not watching anymore and playing it's it's a cool feeling when the coach tell you coach you that what do you think yeah uh it was just a lot of happiness you know pure happiness uh just so much work went into it and you know I think he's my dad is probably the one that saw it the most you know offseason all the stuff that you see that are behind the scenes you know no one's really seeing or checking in on what I'm doing in the offseason but it's uh every day just every day trying to get better a little bit you know working on stuff I need to work on and um not taking any days off you know I think he sees that more than anyone so it just feels really good I'm sure for him to be able to see see this culmination happen you kind of a thing with a new players in the middle of the Season how do you feeling about that yes it's uh you know cross path with a lot of guys oh how do you look for the fctory that's the question right yeah yeah yeah yeah I think it's I mean it's exciting you know we got a lot of a lot of new trades a lot of new players new faces um a lot of talent you know I think we did a great job with the deadline to try to give us some some hope for the future and and uh a lot of key pieces I think going forward that are going to be fun to watch so I think as a team we're just trying to play good baseball this this last month of September and finish out the year strong and and when it comes to spring training next year you know we'll feel like a a whole new team it's hard to be in this label how you can set to the people playing down there send a message keep going keep hard working you know yeah yeah absolutely you know anything can happen I think uh and I still you know I have friends teammates in the minor leagues and uh we've all been in contact for my whole career and I think it's just uh you never know when your time could come you know you know I think if you just focus on your work and every day come to the park and try to get better at something you know there's no days where where you just you know take it take it in and don't really work I think those are the days that you're going to regret later in your career you know so I think go to the park every day try to find something to work on feel like you can gain something every day and uh just stay healthy I think that's a big thing too it's something that if you if you're not healthy then it's hard to to make the moves we are in the last mon of this see some you put any goal in your mind uh I think just have good at bats down the stretch you know don't give anything away I think it's easy when you get to September to um it's so tiring and you mentally you're very taxed physically your body's not feeling the best but I think it's just every time you get in the box and you're facing a pitcher don't give them anything you know battle battle battle make good to swing decisions you know no matter what the score we're up 10 we're down 10 just compete have fun competing and finish out the year strong well Griffin you say something in Spanish for me please come on thank you very much for the flash gra the flash uh yeah yeah yeah uh let me think let me think uh gra Gracia mucho or mucha Gracia uh the watch y oh yeah yeah yeah how do I say y saw cont uh to be here Sarah Sarah coros Marlin hos Miami that's gnational
