Pete Heth was born as Peter Brian Heth on the 9th of June 1980 in Forest Lake Minnesota he grew up in a closeit community and from the beginning he was taught about patriotism human values and hard firm which was closed later Peter was an Equity Capital analyst here and the second huge leap was that he joined the army to Showcase his patriotism to his County and hone his leadership skills Army gives you ample experiences in time to do both these things Peter was a reserve infantry officer in the US Army National Guard on a mission in 2004 Pete and his unit were sent to serve at Guantanamo Bay Cuba this time around Peter was the Infantry platoon leader for the Minnesota National Guard and was a part of Third Battalion 187th Infantry Regiment of 101st Airborne Division Pete is believed to have done a great job there in Guantanamo Bay and therefore he was rewarded with the Army Commendation Medal this mission was one of many that showed how good of a military leader he was after Guantanamo Bay Peter was posted in Iraq for a while he volunteered for this once again he served as an infantry platoon T leader in Baghdad and Samara both Baghdad and Samara are challenging and returning home from his deployments Pete wanted to give politics a shot since he was in the military for a significant amount of time he gained a considerable amount of knowledge about National issues and foreign policies so he thought that he should now influence public policy the year was 2012 and hegseth decided to run for the US Senate in Minnesota his whole campaign was built around the idea of a conservative guy who is very dedicated towards his family friends and his Nation his wife and children were a huge part of his campaign as he was trying to promote the idea of him being a very to call this a small conservative movement all throughout his books media appearances or public appearances one thing was clear that Pete is highly outspoken and this nature led him to be part of many controversies let's talk about all of them one by one and at last we will talk about the biggest controversy of his life his marriage let's begin Donald Trump admired Pete a lot because of his contribution in the military and also because he was a big Trump supporter at one point Trump was also considering Pete for the position of Secretary of veteran Affairs Pete did not take that role but he sure did use his platform on Fox News to bring up some issues in front of trump one such issue was that Pete was advocating for three soldiers who were accused of war crimes especially murder during their deployment in Afghanistan these three soldiers were Eddie Gallagher Matt Goldstein and Clint Lawrence heith wanted the release of these men because he thought these three men were treated unfairly for a thing they did in the Heat of the Moment and in the state of War advocating for these three men led to certain consequences first Pete became a black sheep in the eye of the Pentagon and second a Navy secretary Richard V Spencer was fired as he was believed to have handled the case of Gallagher very poorly and casually this happened in 2019 but the campaign for these three men by Pete began on December 15 2018 when he he brought up the topic of Matt Goldstein Army Major Matt Goldstein was facing prosecution charges after he admitted in an interview with Fox's Brett Bayer in 2016 that he killed a guy who was suspected to be a Taliban bomb maker this happened in 2010 after Matt accepted this on television that led to terrible consequences for him he was stripped of his silver medal and Special Forces Tab and his case was reopened however Pete backed up Matt and called him a hero who was charged with murder this attracted the attention of Donald Trump and the next day Trump tweeted that he will be seeing this case personally this tweet motivated heith and he took things to another level in a segment of fox and friends he interviewed the wives of Goldstein and Gallagher and Lawrence's mother the families became emotional on the show and revealed that the prosecution was taking a huge toll on their person personal lives Eddie Gallagher's case stole the spotlight and became a high-profile case Eddie was accused by his fellow brother in arms of crimes like the murder of a 15-year-old wounded combatant and shooting civilians with a sniper rifle Eddie's actions were condemned by fellow Navy Seals but on the other hand Heth along with other right-wing supporters like Dan krenshaw and Duncan Hunter was in support of Eddie this sparked a controversy Trump interfered in this and ordered Gallagher's release and then congratulated him upon his acquittal of a serious charge of murder however Gallagher was just convicted of taking a photo with a dead human this sounded like a win for Gallagher and Pete right but no Pete wasn't happy with just this he wanted to see Gallagher back in action and demanded his rank restoration he even said that he would take full responsibility on behalf of the actions of these three men Lawrence Gallagher and Goldstein in the end in 2019 Trump ordered the pardoning of Lawrence and stopping goldstein's prosecution and revoking the punishment against Gallagher gallager became a republican hero and also appeared in several segments of fox and friends as a guest throughout this controversy he portrayed these three men as Heroes who do not deserve punishment at all while Pete had his good share of colorful presence in media there were several controversies as well Pete almost killed a guy on air let us explain on June 14th 2015 Pete was shooting a TV segment to honor Flag Day there he accident hit a drummer with an axe thankfully the drummer did not get any fatal injuries that drummer was seen in a good cheerful mode later on and that de-escalated the situation thankfully another instance is from May 2018 heith called The New York Times a failing newspaper and said that they did not cover the news of the capture of three Isis terrorist leaders in fact the New York Times had already covered the news this sparked a controversy between heith and a few media outlets in July 2019 he made a controversial remark on a Muslim member of Congress Rashida T he said that Rashida has a Hamas agenda this remark was highly criticized he was again a part of many conversations when in August 2019 he said that instead of teaching young students about threats like Islamic extremism they are being taught about less important matters like environmentalism again he rose to the heights of controversies in January 2020 when he supported Trump's decision to kill kasm solman who was an Iranian General he even demanded Trump to bomb Iranian cultural sit which might be terrorist homes and weapon storages Heth had an idea about the covid-19 virus as well he accused the Democrats of wanting the Corona virus to spread he even said that the Omron variant of Corona virus was made by democrats because they wanted to influence the elections Pete had his fair share of controversies over the years he made bold statements and made some bold moves but one controversy in particular stands stands out and challenges his whole value system his marriage Pete considered himself a man of values his whole campaign was built around the fact that he was a loving father and husband but his first marriage with his wife Meredith Schwarz ended in 2009 less than a year later in 2010 he married Samantha Dearing they had three children's but the happiness didn't last long as his second marriage also came to an end in 2017 the reason behind the divorce was Pete cheating on his wife for a long time with his Fox executive producer Jennifer rochet this came to light in August 2017 despite these challenges Pete's bond with Jennifer grew stronger and they eventually got married in August 2019 at Trump National Golf Club at the time of the wedding Jennifer already had three children from her previous marriage as we all know by now Pete is a big Trump supporter he took things to an insane level when we wore hats on which make wedding great again was written this slogan was a copy of Trump's
