quick cnck down on the field and we will hear from the Spartan Legion band in just a second but how did Florida A&M Marching 100 come out the gate to start the year always Florida A&M always fam me the Marching 100 one of the most legendary bands in all of HBCU landscape no GL known globally they don't disappoint you can tell the tradition is always there I like the bling like the the the Suson they got them real shiny it's opening week they came out with a great performance there to get it started but let's not forget now I think the largest band in the Mi is northal state so FAMU is one of the biggest bands you're gonna see Nork State as well but a great start to what's the uh what's my man name the lead Joe bullet Joe bullet the voice of Florida ADM The Voice always sounds Flawless and the band did a great job too and you think about it too this is no easy task Jay there is a lot that goes into being a member of a marching band especially at an HBCU because of the pageantry and all that comes with it the recruiting element right that goes into it the work aspect band camp it's no play thing and what about what I just learned talking to the band directors the challenges you can challenge for a position I thought that was just fictional in a movie you can challenge somebody at your position to say you know what I think I'm better than you I want to perform they've got backups in the band who knew you kind of thought that drum line thing was thought that was kind fake no that's real you can challenge up to every Wednesday of course getting prepared for this one was no easy
