Ranking EVERY College Football Stadium in 2023!

Intro well the time has come ladies and gentlemen welcome into the college football stadium ranking Extravaganza where I rank all 68 power five college football stadiums from worst to best in an absolute marathon of a video and guys let's get right into it starting with number 68 what is the worst Stadium currently in the power five remember these are just power five no group of five in this video it has has to be First Bank Stadium AKA Vanderbilt FIRSTBANK STADIUM Stadium I guess they got the First Bank sponsorship possibly to pay for their renovation now guys I don't even know where to begin with this Vanderbilt has actually reduced their capacity significantly by about 15,000 and they are in the midst of a renovation the only issue is both Stadium end zones that are being renovated are currently under construction midseason and they've got a giant crane with a hovering scoreboard over top that's just completely unprofessional folks normally when it comes to Renovations you do one end zone at a time I don't know what's going on with Vanderbilt Stadium really there's nothing it's just a construction site you go there it's a construction site it is not a football stadium I don't know how those kids play this year at it it's just a terrible Vibe and it's got to be the worst Stadium right now in the power five at number 67 it is Ryan Field now RYAN FIELD this is north Western's home I got to remember to say the team because a lot of people don't know stadium names so this is the home for Northwestern they are getting a new stadium possibly in 2026 but yeah this is a complete shell it's not this is not even it doesn't even look like a power five Stadium honestly it looks FCS level and certainly definitely not big 10 standards the amount of money they're making on their TV deal compared to their Stadium there's no second deck to it and it's got a weird curve you know one of the things I'll always remember when when I was younger I saw this they were really struggling with attendance for their home games Northwestern was and they used potted plants to try and cover up the empty seats I swear to God I did see that pretty crazy but yeah they've got a terrible Press Box they've got kind of weird looks like castle like things at the end of each uh you know ends of their Stadium not exactly sure what those are but it comes in at number 67 at number 66 it is Kansas Memorial KANSAS MEMORIAL STADIUM Stadium so Kansas we know certainly in football they're getting better they're improving their Stadium however does need significant upgrade right now it's a complete shell of itself the one end zone is not even finished and thankfully it was just announced right before the start of the Season they're getting a major renovation including adding onto an upper deck and closing the stadium off so Kansas they're getting better as a program and they are getting a big time renovation but right now the stadium is just not up to standard at number 65 it is is alore Stadium home of ACRISURE STADIUM Pittsburgh and so guys this is terrible anytime you've got a college team and their home games are played at an NFL stadium it's a horrible atmosphere the only game I remember where this was kind of like a good atmosphere was the Pittsburgh West Virginia week one game last year but even that it's just like there's no energy man it it's like when you have two teams at the beginning of the Season playing a neutral sight game at an NFL stadium that's what this feels like only it's Pittsburgh's home stadium and from the research I've done Pittsburgh because their campus is so crowded they would have to knock down a bunch of buildings just to build their own stadium but yeah when you play at an NFL stadium you're going to come in low on the list at number 64 it is Scott Stadium home of Virginia uh it's just a really ugly design to me nothing more nothing less you know one of the end zones isn't even finished it's just a grass little Hill reminds me of a minor league baseball stadium and then they've got some weird like Tresses behind that that looks really ugly they do have a second deck to it but the second deck is very small and Virginia football I mean it's brutal right now what's going on uh they're just not a good football team that one comes in very low on my list at number 63 it is SECU Stadium home of Maryland and this SECU STADIUM Stadium really doesn't get a lot of hate but it is horrible it is just completely uneven it's got this bigger Upper Deck but it's just so like it's such a small section and if you look at it in comparison to the one end zone it's just so lopsided the stadium looks completely lopsided like there's no way the upper deck should be that big based on how the rest of the stadium looks if that makes sense I'm surprised this Stadium doesn't get as much hate as it should Maryland needs some type of renovation clearly at basically every single home game they struggle to fill the upper deck of that stadium and it creates a pretty bad environment at number 62 it is JMA Wireless Dome or the formerly known as JMA WIRELESS STADIUM the Carrier Dome so they did upgrade this a little bit they installed the see-through paneling which gives the Dome a natural light feel but still this is one of those inflatable blimp domes it's not going to come high on the list and even though it is kind of iconic the Carrier Dome for Syracuse basketball because it is multi-purpose uh it it to me there's just nothing special about it although you do have to say it is unique it's really like the only Power five stadium that is a true Dome and maybe if Syracuse gets good they can use that in terms of recruiting you know you want a good quarterback play inside of a dome you know you get guaranteed good conditions I don't know uh but either way that comes in at some number 62 at number 61 it is Kroger field home of KROGER STADIUM Kentucky there's really nothing special about this Stadium I would say it's the second or third worst stadium in the SEC it's just two smaller bowls of seats you know if you're Kentucky you're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place you really can't build onto it and add seats because your team just isn't good enough you don't recruit well enough you're in a very tough conference in the SEC and it's only going to get harder with the additions and with the conference expansion so there's nothing horribly wrong but it's just very small and there's nothing special about it you know when it comes to stadiums I look for Unique factors and I just don't see that with the University of Kentucky and Kroger field at number 60 it is Indiana Memorial stadium look now looking at IND MEMORIAL STADIUM this it it does look like a worst version of Lane Stadium but it is just so ugly they decided to give it a few different Renovations which I can respect you're trying to improve it you're trying to improve your football program but the problem is it's just a massive wall of seats and they virtually never sell it out it's just one giant lower ball and it is very ugly even after the renovation to the one end zone area it's like they put in like some type of rest restaurant or you know a social space The Standing Room stuff I can understand it but still Indiana just based off the atmosphere it's got to come in low on the list at number 59 it is alumni stadium and so Boston College ALUMNI STADIUM this is the home of Boston College there's just nothing to it I'm not going to hate on the thing we don't want to kick Boston College while they're down it's got a nice little brick xterior but again if I were to look at this and you just gave it to me blind I would be like you know maybe that's a better looking Max Stadium maybe it just got a renovation maybe it's part of the Sun Belt it's nothing against Boston College but that is not a power five level stadium in my opinion at number 58 it is Wallace Wade Stadium for Duke so this is WALLACE WADE STADIUM another one it is unfortunate because Duke is hosting some big games this year uh the Clemson game the north the not Dame game but yeah their Stadium it's just severely lacking the one end zone isn't even complete maybe if they keep playing this well they'll get funds and really renovate it and invest into their football program but there's really not much I can say about it it's just your typical run-of-the mail bad ACC Stadium it is what it is uh the next one it is FBC Mortgage stadium for UCF so yes this is the bounce house and guys people like FBC MORTGAGE STADIUM the bouns house is so great it's so nice guys it is ridiculously overrated it's just one giant lower bow of seats and they're trying to renovate it and give them credit they're like trying to put a lazy river around the thing or something we'll see if they do it take in the whole you know Central Florida Vibe but right now the stadium in its current state it's a lower tier power five stadium in my opinion it comes in at number 57 on my list at number 56 it is Jack tce Stadium home of Iowa State so there's really not much I can say about this I mean it's your typical two deck approach the one-end zone I guess is finished but it seems like it's kind of kind of a half attempt and then they do have like a a weird grassy area on both sides past the one end zone but other than that it's just very average at this point uh at number 55 it is Bobby Dow stadium so this is Georgia Tex another BOBBY DODD STADIUM extremely forgettable one the one thing I'll say about it you know just looking at it behind the one end zone there's a bunch of seating and that's very rare when it comes to stadiums but yeah Georgia Tech I mean if they became good they could really start rocking this place based on the proximity like how close it is looks like there's just a ton of seats right on top of each other but obviously they haven't been very good and this stadium has kind of faded into a relevancy at this point at number 54 it is Huntington Bank Stadium so this HUNTINGTON BANK STADIUM one's interesting this opened just back like 13 or 14 years ago and it's very rare for a college football team to build a new stadium but Minnesota did do it and and I just hate the interior of this Stadium I think it looks so Bland there's nothing special about it it's two walls of seats they should have done something unique with this being a relatively new stadium they did not it does have an amazing exterior and you would expect that because it is new but that is a very nice brick exterior looks really cool it's just the interior is really bad and they also struggle to sell it out when you look at just the two walls of seats especially during games when you get into November let's say Minnesota four and five on the year it's 23° there's light flurries you're dealing with empty seats it's an issue and it is said but this Stadium comes in pretty low on my list at number 54 at number 53 it is Martin Stadium home of MARTIN STADIUM Washington state so this one this is a decent Stadium they just got a renovation on it the problem is there's just nothing to it in terms of a second deck and you can certainly understand why Washington state would really not be wanted by any of the big time you know power four leagues based off of this Stadium again there're just not built up at all so it's going to come in pretty low even after the endzone renovation by the way they did something very strange it's like it's somebody's house or something you know that as part of the there's like Windows and stuff I don't think it looks very good honestly but I guess you know that's what they decided to do moving on to 52 it is Shi Stadium SHI STADIUM home of Ruckers so this one is a two- deck approach you know if Ruckers ever got good I could see them rocking this place it does seem like it can get loud it is hard to judge stadiums when teams are really bad because it's just going to be a bad atmosphere but this one obviously it's not going to be very big it is Ruckers and you can see a lot of the they kind of have a weird setup there do they still have that roof oh I I think they got rid of that let's hope they got rid of that that is ugly man I'm going to have to knock it I didn't even see that the first when I was looking through these stadiums that's a Red Barn roof folks let's get rid of that please maybe get a nice renovation at a second level at a little restaurant let's not do the Red Roof you know that's not a good design there but you know Ruckers is going to come in pretty low on my list at number 52 at number 51 it is UNC Memorial Stadium so this is North Carolina's home stadium and it's UNC MEMORIAL STADIUM not terrible it's definitely when you compare it to Duke you know everyone thinks North Carolina and Duke they're just basketball schools well now they're both actually better in football especially North Carolina you know they've had a few good teams this year with Drake May they're they've started off well they their stadium is built up they have a nice renovation to their one end zone it's certainly better I guess we're getting into the you know more average stadiums there's nothing really wrong with this Stadium but obviously when you compare it to some of the other stadiums that are better on this list it's just not nearly as built up and it's not going to be North Carolina they are a basketball school it is what it is at number 50 it is Missouri Memorial Stadium this is another one very similar you know you could have put you North Carolina's over MIZZ MEMORIAL STADIUM Missouri or Missouri's over North Carolina's they're very similar stadium so Missouri they do have a second little small Upper Deck area it does get decently loud there they recently got a nice home win against Kansas State but overall you know the one end zone it's just a grass area not or or did they renovate that you know you know what I think they did renovate it so that one's going to come in at number 50 on my list at number 49 it is Mountaineer field home of West Virginia so nothing terrible about this Stadium it's just a little bit smaller you can see it's got MOUNTAINEER STADIUM a two deck approach it is fully complete so it's not like there's one end zone with nothing behind it that's one of the problems that some of the lower ranked stadiums for me were running into but again it's just not very built up West Virginia they had some really good offenses in the early 2010s and they certainly uh this Stadium could certainly get loud unfortunately right now West Virginia irginia they are in a down period uh moving to number 48 it is Carter Finley Stadium home of NC State CARTER-FINLEY STADIUM and this is another Stadium it's just kind of there there's not much I can say about it it is kind of an interesting a well I can't even say that this might be the most Bland stadium in college football honestly just looking at it but it is what it is and they it's a complete Stadium there's no empty end zone so we will put it at number 48 on the list at number 47 it's Jones AT&T Stadium so this stadium is in the midst JONES AT&T STADIUM of a pretty sweet renovation the architecture behind the renovation looks really good overall it is not a big Stadium but they can get really loud this is Texas TCH home stadium by the way and when they have a big home game like they had a big home game against Oregon the stadium is good in terms of energy so even without like an extra Upper Deck I do think the stadium will do very good once they get that renovation and maybe I'll move it up on my list at number 46 it is Lane Stadium home of Virginia Tech so this is the one you've got the great iconic tradition the enters Sandman but it's just like a slightly better version of Indiana Memorial Stadium just the seating setup I mean I can understand why people like it but just personally looking at it as a stadium I'm not the biggest fan it's just two different walls of seats that are not connected the stadium itself is really not connected so for me it comes in at number 46 at number 45 it is hard rock Stadium there's another one unfortunately it is a college team playing in an NFL stadium but this place HARDROCK STADIUM can get relatively loud and it did just receive a renovation about eight or nine years ago to make it way better formerly sunlife Stadium now hard rock so Miami we'll see if they can get their own stadium you really would love to because this is just not ideal playing at this plus they deal with a lot of empty seats as well the stadium is a bit too big if Miami were to build their own stadium I would suggest really a capacity of about 50k honestly because this has a capacity of like 65k and they really struggle uh filling it at number 44 it is Spartan SPARTAN STADIUM Stadium so this is another example of a stadium I think it's a little bit too big for Michigan State Michigan state is really struggled to fill the upper decks of this stadium in pretty much every game even their game against Washington they didn't sell it out I don't think uh so either way Michigan State it's a fine Stadium definitely when they have the Rivalry game against Michigan they p it but right now Michigan State their football program they're in a world of hurt so we might be dealing with some more empty seats when it comes to this Stadium there's nothing terrible about it I know it got an exterior renovation but to me it's it's just kind of an average stadium in college football we're really into kind of the average stadiums right now moving on to number 43 it is Arizona Stadium another Stadium ARIZONA STADIUM that's very average kind of like a carbon copy of uh Spartan Stadium a little bit when you look at it uh but overall there's just nothing special about it comes in at number 43 I'm sorry Arizona Stadium I I only talked about it for like one second but there's not much I can say at number 42 it is Riser Stadium this is the Oregon state RESER STADIUM renovation so certainly this would have came a lot lower on my list if they had not gotten this renovation and I mean it's a cool renovation it's a little strange when you look at the seating so it's like they added two different decks but like the one deck is a lot smaller than the other one I don't think I've seen that seating design and I really can't say I like it but I can understand they're trying something new it's a good renovation you give them credit Oregon State their football team's good this year we're not going to burst their bubble okay we'll put it at number 42 there in terms of that at number 41 it is Illinois Memorial Stadium so this is a very sad story with Illinois Memorial Stadium they have an amazing brick ILL MEMORIAL STADIUM exterior amazing unfortunately the interior a lot of this has to do with Illinois just not being that good of a football program like if they were a football school this Stadium would have gotten like the Ohio stadium treatment where they would just keep adding sections to it and it would end up being this massive Stadium unfortunately their football team has just not been very good at all and there's just no reason to add seats to it considering they already struggle to fill their current attendance so the interior of it is very bare and they have talked about maybe doing an Endzone renovation but that went nowhere so illino Memorial Stadium for me comes in at number 41 at number 40 it's Williams Bryce stadium so I would say this is the first Stadium on the list right now to where it's like WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM completely built up and it's got a legit capacity and the reason for me this is so low I just hate the design man of it it's just all the white the lights to me look ugly they look very old the design of one of the end zones like the shape of the seating looks ugly I don't know it just looks like a very old stadium so this is South Carolina by the way I got to remember to say the team but this is South Carolina Stadium and sure it does get loud if you got a Clemson South Carolina game going on the Rivalry it's rockus you got a bigger capacity I understand it but just the stadium in general the exterior is completely Barren and it's going to come in pretty low on my list at number 40 at number 39 it is Ross Aid Stadium home of Purdue so ROSS-ADE STADIUM they recently did a renovation to this Stadium adding on to one of the end zones completing it and the one crazy thing about this Stadium whenever Purdue has a Prime Time game which is not very often but whenever they do you'll notice this there's like nothing around this Stadium like there's no lights it's just pitch black night sky around the stadium so that's something that's cool but in general the interior of the stadium there's just not much to it it's lower Bulls I will say the renovation was good and certainly when they host a big game this Stadium gets up and it is loud and that's why I've moved it up a little bit on my list to number 39 at number 38 it is Credit Union Stadium home of Louisville oh yes this is the stadium I think that was CREDIT UNION STADIUM designed by goth Architects that's why it looks really strange it looks very like a demon type thing that's just the vibe I get from it CU you can see by the seating and the Curves in the seating like the sections yes this is a very strange Stadium but I can respect it that Louisville decided to go it's like a goth stadium so I can respect it so with Louisville we're going to throw it at number 38 at number 37 it is G Carter AMONG CARTER STADIUM Stadium home of TCU and this is another one I didn't realize how built up this was I mean this is a legit Stadium Texas Christian is is not that big of a school but yeah this is a stadium that has a full functioning upper deck and it does get very loud it's a good atmosphere good environment it's a salid college football stadium we will put it at number 37 no issues from me in terms of that that one at number 36 it is mlan stadium so this one was tough to rank and I probably should have moved this MCLANE STADIUM one up this is a I would say very new stadium in football terms because it was built in like 2015 it just there's nothing that's special about it you know like like that's just the feel I get and the one end zone isn't even totally complete I understand they might want that architecture that open air feel to it that might be done on purpose I get it there's also an interesting overhang which I'm guessing they put that overhang into to protect the fans from the sun because it is in Texas and it get listen it gets extremely hot for Baylor home games I wonder if they contemplated putting some type of roof on that Stadium because it's very hot in that area uh but either way I just don't see anything special about it like I understand the idea and it's new and it's right near the water and it's nice exterior I get it but uh I just can't move it up very high so I put it at number 36 there at number 35 it is Bill Schneider Family Stadium oh this is the one that looks like a demon layer yeah BILL SYNDER FAMILY STADIUM very strange exterior I was very surprised like when you look at the interior of this Stadium okay it looks nice it's built up they've done renovations to it they've got a nice Upper Deck it's going to get loud for night games you've got remember Colin Klein when they were ranked like third Kansas State yeah then you look at the exterior of it very strange design very strange but I can respect it so I'm going to go ahead and put at number 35 moving on to number 34 it's TD ECU TDECU STADIUM Stadium what an annoying name that is but yeah I just wanted to throw this one in somewhere in the middle it's Houston's new stadium it's not terrible but let's be honest for a new stadium it does leave a lot to be desired you know if you're Houston you have to be happy you built a new stadium it's part of the reason why you're in a power five conference at this point and it does have a decent facade it is kind of a smaller Stadium not surprising you know they want to fill it and if Houston ever is good I could certainly see this Stadium you know being rocking and and really creating a good energy so it's kind of simplistic it's kind of like mlan it's okay we'll throw it at number 34 and number 33 it is Stanford stadium STANFORD STADIUM so this Stadium it's older it's gone through several Renovations they basically completely rebuilt it I kind of think it's underrated it has a very strange design where it's just two different decks but both of them are like different sizes one of them Jets out uh one of them is a lot bigger than the other one I don't know it's interesting and there's some really good Landscaping surrounding the area so Stanford Stadium I kind of think is a little bit underrated it it's never going to get very loud just because Stanford football it's not very popular but we will throw it in at number 33 it's in a nice location it's a smaller Stadium you're not dealing with a bunch of empty seats it gets a little bit loud I'm kidding but you know what Stanford we'll throw it in at number 33 at number 32 it is VA Hemingway Stadium home of VAUGHT-HEMMINGWAY STADIUM Old Miss this is the one I think that has the crazy exterior to it that really did surprise me when I was looking it up but yeah this is kind of just a lower bll you know there's really no second deck to it outside of the additions they've recently made about 12 or 13 years ago they had a renovation to one of the end zones very common practice when it comes to stadiums but VA Hemingway Stadium it does get pretty loud and it was Alabama's House of Horrors there for a few years so we're going to throw it in this is the home of Old Miss we're going to throw it in at number 32 at number 31 it is nippert NIPPERT STADIUM Stadium home of Cincinnati so this is definitely an underrated Stadium I love the way it connects with the campus it fits in like a glove it's a smaller Stadium on purpose Cincinnati very easily could have built built a stadium with a capacity of 50k or 55k and sold out the bigger games but they would struggle to sell tickets for the smaller ones they didn't do that they made a smaller Stadium put it in high demand sell out pretty much every one of your games and it still gets loud there and another interesting thing with this Stadium you've got several buildings overlooking it it's just built perfectly you know like shaved right into the campus just looks really nice in terms of that especially for a smaller Stadium at number 30 it is lavl Edwards Stadium LAVELL EDWARDS STADIUM so ranking a stadium like this is very hard because obviously you look behind it it's beautiful but when it comes to BYU Stadium if it didn't have that backdrop this thing would be maybe bottom five like just look at it it's four different unconnected sections of seating you've got two behind the end zones two behind the sidelines they're not connected that looks terrible that looks Little League it looks like division 2 to it is not good but I have to throw it up pretty high because my goodness if you're going to a game and you see that that backdrop how it's just amazing could you imagine if they actually had a really nice Stadium I'm not saying to build up on top of it and block out the view but I am saying you need to connect all of the stands together to make it look better but I decided to throw it at number 30 at number 29 it is Cal Memorial Stadium another one that's on this list that's relatively High based let's be real mainly off the location it's beautiful it's right on a Rockside in California the Sun beats down I'll be honest that's actually a negative this this stadium has no cover could you imagine like a a noon local time start here a 3:30 start that's got to be rough in California but you know it's located in a great area and I do think Cal Memorial Stadium It's CAL MEMORIAL STADIUM just sad like when is the last big game Cal memorial stadium has hosted it's been just completely irrelevant because their program is irrelevant and they did recently get a renovation where they added a press box and some seating but other than that it is just one simple lower bowl of seats which if Kell ever became good they'll be able to sell it out fairly easily and it should get pretty loud and it would be a beautiful scenic view if that ever happens but unfortunately this stadium is kind of doomed to IR relevancy right now because there's a lot of meaningless football being played at it right now at number 28 it's Davis Wade Stadium for Mississippi State pretty much what I would expect from a run-ofthe-mill you DAVIS WADE STADIUM know SEC Stadium that's had several Renovations they've got kind of the they got the mini Upper Deck going on don't they yes they've got one of those several college teams have have many upper decks but I mean the stadium looks nice it certainly gets loud with the cowbells it's very hard to watch it on TV because of those but it is a nice environment we remember Mississippi State they were ranked number number one with Dak Prescott they had some big games it was pretty loud so you know it's a good Stadium it's got a decent capacity it looks nice on TV we will go ahead and throw that at number 28 at number 27 it's rice Eckles stadium so RICE ECCLES STADIUM this is the other one with the amazing view but this one just underwent a renovation a few years ago where they closed the end zones and certainly you can see the stadium is fully complete it's a lot better than BYU's not surprising considering you know BYU was not in a power five conference for the longest time but Utah this a stadium gets very loud it is hard to play in there's not much to it but let's be honest you really cannot add an an upper deck at least on the one side because you're going to block out the amazing view so they are limited in terms of that and again they closed up the one end zone it's very solid it's very loud it's a fun stadium for sure so I'm going to throw that one at number 27 at number 26 it is sundevil Stadium recently undergoing a renovation it looks very SUN DEVIL STADIUM nice another great location in Arizona right kind of on the side of a mountain with a mountain also overlooking it you can see it's got a multi-deck approach a bigger stadium and certainly just kind of a cool location especially after the renovation all of that contributes to this ranking being relatively high for sundevil stadium by the way they changed the name of this Stadium I don't I think it's might be called Bank America or American Bank Stadium something like that it's a sad name change cuz sundevil stadium is a very cool name at number 25 it is Razorback stadium so this is another sec stadium that has undergone several different Renovations it's also got a mini Upper Deck but this is an underrated Stadium when you look at what they've done behind both end zones it's very impressive it's very unique it's cool different section seating that I really haven't seen any other Stadium pull off behind end zones so Razorback Stadium it gets loud it's the SEC it's a solid stadium and it's going to come in at number 25 at number 24 it is Boon picking stadium so this one has been BOONE PICKENS STADIUM alerted to me over the years is a very underrated Stadium it is just kind of a slower bow it's a bigger low bow and then you do have like three straight sections of sweets above that very unique maybe it kind of reminds me of Michigan Stadium or Notre Dame stadium with just kind of one continuous bll but it does get very loud and we do remember when Oklahoma state was good they've hosted a lot of big games there it gets very rockus it's a good environment and it is a stadium that has received several Renovations we're going to go ahead and throw it at number 24 at number 23 it's Sanford Stadium home of Georgia this might surprise some people why would this be so low this is a unique Stadium you would not think this seats over 990,000 people but it does it seats a lot of people for just the way it looks cuz it's got one of those mini upper decks but yeah Sanford Stadium has really just never done it for me personally I have nothing against it it's got kind of an extra third deck there but it to me it's just very average so I'm going to go ahead and throw it at number 23 at number 22 it is the LA Memorial col LA MEMORIAL COLISEUM so what a huge makeover the Coliseum got about 4 years ago it was done by USC football by the way this thing was completely run down it was totally grotesque they changed it they removed and switched all the seating now it's this bright red color or like a dark red color and they also did as part of a renovation for the Olympics they removed some of the seating behind the sidelines and put in a Press Box and really changed that area so the vibe of this Coliseum has completely changed unfortunately the situation with USC football in the state of California and La there's a lot of things to do there USC even now that they're good with Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams they really can't sell this place out which is a big issue you're dealing with empty seats it's never a good look for this for a stadium it is a Coliseum it's massive and it's been there forever and if it would not have received that renovation I probably would have had it at like number 45 or number 50 because it was beat down when the Rams moved back to LA they had to play in it uh but USC did end up renovating it it will be one of the main stadiums for the Olympics as well moving on to number 21 it is fome field so there's another one you're you're kind of basing it off of The View you're kind of basing it off FOLSOM FIELD the stadium the stadium in and of itself is really run down and that's why a lot of people have speculated with the money coming into Colorado their football program you would think maybe a renovation is is on the horizon it is super unique like there's a lot of buildings up against the stadium that have like places where you can watch the game from Windows so that's unique that's cool but the stands themselves are really outdated the scoreboard is hilariously small you do have to give them credit again the view is ridiculous so this is going to move up significantly if this was located you know in the middle of nowhere without that view I would probably have this you know in the' 40s cuz it still is unique like it's the the one area with the building it's a unique aspect you have people overlooking that is pretty cool and that's actually a recent renovation that they've had or at least semi- recent the brick building either way it still does need a new renovation it's going to come in at number 21 at number 20 it is the roseb so the rose bow listen if I was ROSE BOWL just ranking this Stadium based on the rose bll game itself this is a magical Stadium it's top 10 probably top five you've got the beautiful sunset over the mountains it's amazing but when UCLA plays there and you're dealing with the tarps and you're dealing with just kind of a rundown lower Bowl stadium that looks like the Yale bow it's hard to really rank it that high so you're dealing with two different aspects when it comes to the Rose Bowl let's be honest with ourselves this uh is a stadium that desperately needs a renovation it hasn't really gotten one sure they've gotten new press boxes and things like that there's been no exterior renovation it still looks ridiculously old and the stands still look completely run down uh you know that is what it is when you look beyond the stadium it is beautiful in terms of the landscape it's kind of in the middle you you can look right out there with all the trees and then of course the mountains but just in general the stadium and ranking it and with UCLA's environment involved I'm going to have to put it a little bit lower than probably some people would think at number 20 on my list at number 19 it is Husky Stadium so this stadium was HUSKY STADIUM virtually completely rebuilt it is very nice it does a great job at keeping noise in the stadium and they're going to be having some huge games up coming I'm sure with how good Washington is also you have those giant overhangs that's kind of a thing that they ripped off of the Seahawks stadium where it protects the fans at least in the upper deck from the rain we know the state of Washington you're dealing with a lot of precipitation so they've got those giant overhangs not only do those overhangs offer as a nice protection from rain they also give you the aspect of trapping the noise in the stadium and that's why this place appears so loud right on the water really good location sweet HomeField Advantage the Stadium's not too big although that one Upper Deck it's one giant wall of seats still it is a unique thing I'm going to go ahead and throw it at number 19 at number 18 it is DOAK CAMPBELL STADIUM do Campbell Stadium home of Florida State so this is one that this might actually get a renovation where they add a massive overhang over top of it kind of like those college football stadiums you know have done in Europe because of the weather that they have in and around the State of Florida the other thing you have to think about with it being in Tallahasse it gets pretty hot and a lot of Florida State fans have complained about that but this Stadium it's gotten a few different Renovations it's pretty nice maybe it's a tad high on my list but I still like it it's very solid it offers good home field advantage there's just not a ton to it in terms of seating although we will see if it does end up getting that huge renovation at number 17 I've got Nebraska Memorial Stadium NEB MEMORIAL STADIUM this is another one that's getting a big renovation it was just announced actually they've got the two massive walls of seating right behind each end zone both of those are going they're putting in brand new areas they're reducing the capacity a little bit they've got the very small like bite-size Upper Deck very mini Upper Deck to this but Nebraska always sells out these games it's a rockus environment the fans are right on top of the action it is a very solid Stadium Nebraska Memorial Stadium very old as well like pretty much all these it's received a lot of Renovations it comes in at number 17 at number 16 it's Camp Randall Stadium very very loud place to CAMP RANDALL STADIUM play at not a huge capacity but the stadium works just based off of its design the one-sided Upper Deck you've also got the endzone that was recently finished in a huge renovation it is a very tough place to play and it comes in at number 16 at number 15 it is Ben Hill Griffith Stadium AKA The Swamp home of Florida and there's another one BEN HILL GRIFFITH STADIUM that's apparently getting a huge renovation but this one you are literally right on the action and I almost wonder when they do renovate it will they push the seats back a little bit uh I I honestly doubt it because that's kind of one of the things with it but just looking at the stadium the seats kind of just blend into each other it's very Str range It's A peculiar design and you would have thought that maybe they would have renovated this at some point but they haven't done it yet I'm sure that's probably coming it does seat a ton of people and it is a very rockus environment especially during those night games there for Florida so it comes in at number 15 at number 14 it is DKR Memorial Stadium now this one it does have a capacity above a 100K after DKR MEMORIAL STADIUM their recent Endzone renovation the capacity got raised and now it's above that and it's just I mean it's Texas Memorial Stadium it's very nice it's got a huge Upper Deck it's very loud and it is an imposing environment and that Endzone renovation with the longhorn thing you know there was a story that that longhorn thing in the endzone like Beyond one of the endzones that they just installed apparently that's not even or something like they me they messed up they they botched the installment of it I don't know if that's true or not but I did see photos a while back and it was like I mean it's off-centered a little bit on the extra points you could see it but either way it is a unique design also they have these weird like steps that you can see where people can look out on like social spaces I guarantee you those were just put in three or four years ago considering that's kind of a new fed when it comes to basically all stadiums it's the social space aspect of it but this Stadium getting above 100K You could argue it's a little bit Bland but it is very solid it just got a really good renovation we will throw it at number 14 moving on to number 13 it isson Stadium home of Oregon so the location of this stadium is really cool AUTZEN STADIUM the design of it is super unique they just went with a lower bull but it's a looping lower bll that kind of jets up and jets in I don't think another yeah there's no way any other stadiums in college football are designed like that so it's just a super unique thing and it really does fit the aura of Oregon football also it gets very loud there of course so Watson Stadium it's a top 15 stadium in college football and they're working on a renovation to a practice field where it's going to be like a translucent roof Practice Field located right next to their Stadium this was a stadium that got a renovation about 20 years ago to make it what it is today and it comes in at number 13 at number 12 it is kinnick Stadium home of Iowa so this is another one that gets very loud KINNACK STADIUM especially at night in doing a deep dive into this Stadium I thought it connected a little bit more than it actually does so maybe I would consider moving it a little bit lower on my list normally I like these stadiums to fully or at least partially connect in certain spots a lot of this Stadium doesn't connect so that's a little annoying but kinck it is very solid it comes in at number 12 on my list at number 11 it is Jordan hair Stadium you got to love the bushes you really do the stadium is very generic JORDAN HARE STADIUM but for alurn you got to give alurn credit whenever they're good that stadium is miserable able to play in it's got a big capacity it's an SEC Stadium it's a former SEC power who's kind of down right now in alurn University but still the tradition of it I threw it at number 11 at number 10 it is Bryant Denny Stadium home of Alabama so this is another one that's received a BRYANT-DENNY STADIUM ton of Renovations over the years you would think it would seat more than it actually does just based off the fact that it has two different upper decks and then two massive student section areas does this one kind of reminds me of an NFL stadium just from looking at it just because of the upper deck look of it but it is still a very solid College Stadium like pretty much all of the big time SEC stadiums they've got those light shows that go on and such so I'm going to throw it at number 10 big capacity it does get very loud at number nine it is Notre Dame stadium so this is NOTRE DAME STADIUM like kind of like Michigan Stadium a little bit it's just one giant lower bull they have done a pretty nice renovation to it where they've taken out a few of the seats and put in some more luxury seats and then of course they had a renovation I remember like six or seven years ago they were working on it during the season where they were completely renovating the area around the Press Box and like adding on another level to it so it's a little bit taller now Notre Dame Stadium very solid but you could argue it's a little bit Bland still you've got the tradition there and I think the stadium presents itself very well especially after the renovation it comes in at number nine at number eight it is Clemson Memorial Stadium very CLEMSON MEMORIAL STADIUM iconic you've got the massive Upper Deck uh the fact that this stadium is as big as it is considering how small Clemson is like the place it's pretty remarkable that that many people can gather into one area considering there's really not a lot around it so I'm going to throw it at number eight it gets Extremely Loud especially at night we know how great Clemson's been recently and it does have a recent renovation where they put up a brand new scoreboard at number seven it is nean Stadium home of Tennessee so NEYLAND STADIUM this is definitely a retro type design it's just a two- deck approach they did go through a big renovation recently this offseason I believe it's a multi-stage renovation so it's going to be continuing on throughout uh maybe the next two years or so and they're also like attaching a hotel to it nean is really really nice I just love it just looks like an older stadium that they've done a good job modernizing it kind of like wriggley field in Fenway Park of MLB it just looks modern but also old it's the perfect feel and you've got the seating going all the way around there's no breaks meaning it it gets Extremely Loud and they can really trap the noise inside the stadium night games are pretty crazy there it comes in at number seven at number six it is Kyle Field I mean they just went all out in their seating expansion like it is crazy when you look at this Stadium it is just walls and walls and walls of seats that's really all it is especially after their renovation and they've also got a very nice brick exterior really nice finish as part of a renovation back in like 2013 2014 when they were going to the SEC uh but yeah it's it's just a behemoth of a stadium and they get a crazy HomeField Advantage obviously it's the way the seats are structured they're just all on top of each other it's like you have four different upper decks going around the entire stadium in different points one behind each end zone and then one on each side it's like a daunting Stadium to look at so Kyle Field that's really the only Stadium that's designed like that where it's just straight walls it comes in at number six at number five we're going with gayor family Memorial GAYLORD FAMILY MEMORIAL STADIUM Stadium home of Oklahoma so this is another one it's very interesting with this stadium originally they were going to build a huge complex onto this stadium for around I want to say a 300 or maybe it was a $500 million renovation they had to scale it back because of funding issues but they were going to build like this entire building onto the side of their Stadium they ended up not doing it but they did renovate this stadium and completely close it off and I just like the look of this Stadium they always sell it out basically every game and it looks nice completely closed up all the sections are nice so I'm going to throw it at number five it is certainly an iconic stadium in college football at number four it is Michigan Stadium the big MICHIGAN STADIUM house house built into the ground just one giant bowl of seats and honestly it would be very easy easy I'm not saying Michigan is going to do this to either add a roof to this Stadium or add seating because it is built into the ground because it is just one giant bow but obviously Michigan Stadium everybody knows it as the biggest stadium in college football it can seat with standing room around 110 maybe even 111,000 if they really pushed it with the standing room but yeah it's just one giant lower bowl and it's built into the ground it's iconic when they sell that place out which is basically every game with the maze you got the maze outs they they when they wear the same colors it is a beautiful image and it comes in at number four at number three it is Tiger Stadium home of LSU Death Valley TIGER STADIUM beautiful Stadium beautiful Endzone editions it looks amazing at night it gets Extremely Loud it kind of has those interesting sections if you look at the sections right behind both of the sidelines it reminds me of the Candlestick Park sections they're there these very small square sections and I just love the look of it I don't know why but it also does have a very small upper deck and then right above both of the end zones they've got like these standing room areas all the way at the tippy top it's just got so many unique factors to it it comes in at number three and also the colors purple and yellow at night it's just so beautiful the exterior is amazing lit up in those colors uh it comes in at number three at number two it is Ohio stadium such an OHIO STADIUM iconic unique design the Horseshoe shape the job they've done on the student section kind of fitting that in it looks amazing Ohio stadium seting sitting around right now 102 103k certainly iconic it does get criticized just like Michigan Stadium for maybe not being as loud as it should but I just love the shape of this Stadium especially when you look at it from an aerial vantage point it's so so unique and it comes in at number two and then at number one the best Stadium right now in 2023 I have to give it to Beaver Stadium iconic loud crazy high capacity it really is everything you want in a BEAVER STADIUM modern Stadium it is kind of ironic that I am ranking it at number one and they are giving it a renovation honestly you could certainly argue that Beaver Stadium should not be one of number one due to its porous exterior I will say that because they're supposed to get a big renovation and maybe they're getting a brick exterior but still the seating within this stadium is just so Random like behind one of the sidelines it's just a massive wall of seats behind one of the end zones there's like their own sections of Upper Deck seating and multi-level seating the other side it's just all different it's all disheveled and that makes it so unique and so cool to me so Beaver Stadium the best Stadium right now in 2023 but either way guys that is going to do it and by the way let me just say this is the problem that I ran into I forgot to when I was doing this list I forgot to rank Wake Forest and their stadium and the reason is because there's like 68 power five teams I put 68 spots in not remembering that oh yeah Notre Dame is a independent and and that's why I forgot Wake Forest but it is funny because when you look at Wake Forest it is the smallest stadium in power five how do I forget to rank that one it would probably honestly be ranked 67th or 66th extremely Below on my list it is
