Football Friday Night Week 6 highlights and final scores

West Fork vs Lavaca It's week six of the high school football season and this is football Friday night tonight. We're separating the boys from the men. We had a bunch of good games. We're gonna start with our five news game of the week. But Jonathan, I'm thrilled because tonight was the first night it felt like football outside. Sweater weather and football weather are basically running the same, right? When you need the sweater, it the game start to feel a little bit more important. And that's exactly what we had today. Two years ago, Lovaca won one single conference game. Now the golden arrows. They are five, and now it's their best start since 2005. This week, Lavaca taking that unbeaten record on the road to a three and two West Fork team, hoping to hand them their first loss of the season. It was homecoming night for the Tigers. They were hoping to make it three straight wins over the Golden Arrows. We'll pick things up in the first quarter. Lavaca on the move, Maddox Snow on the option. He pitches it out to Dakota Hartsfield and Hartsfield is moving the chains and picking up the first down later in the drive knob. Back to throw. He hits Fisher Martin over the middle, and Martin gets into the end zone on the second effort. #3 gets in for six and it was six to nothing. Lavaca ensuing kickoff. The Golden Arrows kind of pooch kick it Jacob Cravens back to return and he's able to pick up some good yards here for West Fork. A face mask penalty on the play and the Tigers would start near midfield, but they couldn't turn that into points. And then early in the second quarter, LEVAC extends its lead, now with the jump pass to Andrew Johnson. No second TD. Rest of the night and Lavaca, they are still undefeated. They win 31 to 7, they're six and oh on the season. Jacob. Quite the thing going down in Lavaca. Next we head to Fayetteville. Purple dogs hosting Southside in Razorback Stadium. Casey **** returning to his old stomping grounds, this time as a head coach. First drive of the game it's the South side defense getting after it. John Parkinson with the strip sack, Mavs recover and the offense, well they were in business and after a long drive down the field on the 1 yard line. Gregory punches it in. Southside had a 17 to nothing lead on the road but then the Purple Dog offense doing what they do. Third and nine in the red zone. Alma hosting P Ridge. The Airedales had a comfortable 35 second seven lead heading in to the second-half and we'll pick things up in the second-half. Carlos Gonzalez here, taking the N, the handoff for Almeida. He delivers a filthy stiff arm right there before going down, but not without grabbing the first down. That kept the drive going. And then Israel towns Robinson takes it up the gut himself for the score from 2 yards. Ohh it's 42 to 7 air deals P Ridge will can make something happen on their next possession. Kevin Dixon finds Kaden rains in the flat but on the tackle rains coughs it up in the air does recover the fumble. Towns Robinson takes the handoff outside throws the spin cycle on a defender but it's meant by a host of Blackhawks who stuff I'm short of the goal line. Two teams that have gotten off to a great start this season but looking to get a big win tonight. MJ Parker, he's gonna catch the ball here and run it all the way down the field. Can you say kick 6 into the end zone for Parker, breaking some tackles down the sideline? Yeah, and we had a 7 to 7 ball game and Ozark would just take over from there. Here Lincoln's drew Moore. He's going to look to get the offense going, but Kobe Willbanks, he's going to come away with the interception. Well that one handed interception, it was beautiful. Ozark they are going to win this one big final from Hillbilly Land 64 to 21. Better night for Ozark thing for Jacobs, Mets, Harrison and. I would now Harrison and Shiloh tonight and this one was all Shiloh here Eli Wisdom waiting for his man and then he lets it go from about the 50 yard line. Hits his guy body. Neil. How many times have we seen them connect for touchdowns? Neils cafe. Gotta love it. Yeah he's he's great. Another touchdown for Neil. And then Shiloh they continue to go to work wisdom dropping it into the hands of Noah Dejarnette and he just plows through the defense picks up the first down. So ball back in Wisdom's hands and this time he's going back to the air. What a throw, what a die. Remember, there's staples, commercials. Too easy too is the button. That's what it looks like for this Shiloh offense. Now Harrison on offense and the the Shiloh defense there taking cues from the offense right. The offense. Scoring points of shallow defense, creating turnovers. Shallow points too, I guess. Shiloh easily able to pick up the win in this 155 to 14. Just domination. But we still got more to come. Next we're gonna head over to the Sooner state where the five and oh gore pirates haven't lost a district game since get this November of 2018, four years ago tonight in Pocola though the Indians, they look to break that streak in a battle of two of the best teams that the state of Oklahoma has to offer. This matchup could determine which one is going to win the 1A league. Picola having that home field advantage and the pirates waste no time getting on the board under 3. Minutes to play in the first gunner. Dozier takes the handoff. 21 yards to the house. We see why this team is so good. Gore up 7. Nothing. Just over 2 minutes later, 4th and two, Noah Cooper takes it himself. 26 yards to the house. That's another gore. Touchdown. 14 nothing. Pirates things not looking great for the Indians. Under 4 minutes to go in the first Cooper. He's going to flip it out to Dozier. He does the rest. This offense is lethal. 30 yards to the end zone. Picola blocks the kick, but the damage was done. 20 to nothing. Pirates. And you know who it's gonna be? Dozier, 13 yards out, slices and dices making a salad his way into the end zone to start the second quarter. Pirates, they couldn't get the two point conversion, but it was 26. Zip. It wouldn't matter. Gore takes this one, putting up basketball numbers 61 to 12. Meanwhile in Greenland tonight, a conference matchup between two teams with not that much recent history between them. Boonville and Greenland have only played twice in the last decade, with the Bearcats winning in 2018 and 2019. Tonight in Greenland, a chance for the Pirates to turn the tables and do so on home field. This was in 1914 ball game in the first quarter, but then the Bearcats ground game helped them pull away. Dax Scov here gets the handoff and I want you to watch this ohh State Farm get off of me. We don't condone bullying Dax. Off is a bad man, 203 yards, 4 touchdowns on the ground for #34. But he wasn't the only one getting involved in this Bearcats ground game. Later in the second quarter they handed off to trace Hall this time and no one is catching him either. He goes right down the left sideline and he takes this one in for six. It's 49 to 14 Bearcats and they would add one more before the half. Cody Elliott says he wants to join in on the touchdown party. He breaks through to the second level and queue the fight song one more time. Boonville Hanks 55 points in the first half and the Bearcats win this one by 5521 final. The Bearcats are three and oh in conference play. Next we got a little rivalry Action Harbor. They just head down the road taking on Springdale tonight. Cats versus dogs. Who's going to take this one? Bulldogs start the game with the kickoff bounces right to Wildcats. Cole Carlson and he goes down the sideline, beats some Red Dog defenders. He takes it deep into the red zone. Harvard. He started this game strong here. Luke Buchanan with the handoff easily marches in with the keeper. He faked out even the cameraman. Wildcats touchdown. Springdale though. Jack Pounders, nice quarterback scramble. He's gonna do a little dance here. He's gonna go up the gut. Nice run there by pounders for a Springdale first down here. Red dogs are going to get more on offense. Pounders with the handoff. Running back refuses to be stopped at the goal line, tumbles in for the Red Dog touchdown, but it's harbor who gets the big conference win over their rival. 4914 is your final. Five and oh, undefeated, no more. Bentonville W takes care of business tonight against the Mounties. They move into a tie for first place in the seven A W 3421 year final. Pulaski Academy taking on Siloam Springs over in Central Arkansas. The Bruins were hoping to stay undefeated against the winless Panthers team. Salem Springs game mascardo here. Jackson still, this is definitely gonna be a sweetest play nominee. Just making stuff happen and then goes to the year finds Quentin Motsinger all alone in the end zone. It was a 7 to nothing. Siloam Springs like Eli Manning. Yeah ohh that's bad memories as a Patriots fan. But here Kel Busby for Pulaski Academy going to jail in McKinney. It's a touchdown for the Bruins with some. Trickery on the two point conversion here, you're gonna see it. The Bruins just dive into their bag of tricks. They pull out the double pass and it's a big man. Not touchdown, but a big man. Touchdown pass, 8 to 7 lead for Pulaski Academy and then the Bruins would take care of miss this from there. This time Busby's going to Will Hawkins and it's 14 to 7. Pulaski Academy just ends up getting the win in this one against Siloam Springs. The Bruins take care of the Panthers on home turf and the Bruins. To get the win in this one against Silent Spring, 64 to 17. We hate that Sam Springs lost, but I did like that trickery play. We love a little trickery. Yeah, going deep into the bed. I mean, it is October, right? Trick-or-treat. There you go.
