TUESDAY NIGHT WE'LL SEE AN EXAMPLE OF THAT. THE PARTY WILL HOLD A CEREMONIAL ROLL CALL VOTE TO GIVE HARRIS THE NOMINATION THAT SHE ALREADY WON ON AUGUST 6th. IT'S A DESTINATION WEDDING AFTER ALREADY BEING MARRIED AT CITY HALL. IT IS THE MOST CHOREOGRAPHED MOMENT OF A FOUR-DAY ACT OF CHOREOGRAPHY. THOUGH IT COULD HAVE BEEN THE MOST CONTENTIOUS MOMENT, EVEN AT PREVIOUS CORONATIONS THERE WERE MOMENTS OF SCRATCHINESS. IN 2008 HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS THREATENED TO DISRUPT OBAMA'S ELEVATION AT HIS CONVENTION. THEY WERE CALLED PUMAS, WHICH STOOD FOR PARTY UNITY MY REAR END. IN 2016 BERNIE SANDERS SUPPORTERS PROTESTED HILLARY CLINTON'S ROLL CALL VOTE. THIS ELECTION WHEN BIDEN CAME TO SEE THE WISDOM OF DROPPING OUT, THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A BATTLE TO REPLACE HIM, BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED, IN PART DUE TO SOME OF THE QUICK WORK OF PEOPLE IN THIS CONVENTION, UP ENDING ANOTHER DEMOCRATIC PARTY CLICHE, ONE BILL CLINTON USED TO USE. HE SAID THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PARTIES IS THE DEMOCRATS FALL IN LOVE WHILE THE REPUBLICANS FALL IN LINE. NOW IT'S THE DEMOCRATS FALLING IN LINE. MONDAY NIGHT'S PASSING OF THE TORCH FROM BIDEN TO HARRIS RETAINED ONLY THE FAINTEST WHIFF OF THE REALITY THAT THE TORCH THAT WAS BEING PASSED HAD BEEN WRESTLED OUT OF BIDEN'S HAND. IT WAS HARD TO DETECT IN THE SEA OF PLACARDS SAYING WE LOVE JOE THAT HAD BEEN PASSED AROUND. DONALD TRUMP HELPS WITH ALL THIS PARTY UNITY, OF COURSE, BUT HARRIS' BIOGRAPHY ALSO FITS THE PARTY'S MESSAGE. DEMOCRATS CAN TALK ABOUT THE FUTURE WITH GUSTO BECAUSE THEIR NOMINEE IS A GENERATION YOUNGER THAN THE PREVIOUS ONE. HILLARY CLINTON COULD IGNITE THE HALL BY PLACING HARRIS INTO THE HISTORY OF PROGRESS FOR WOMEN POLITICIANS BECAUSE HARRIS MIGHT BE THE FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT. WHEN BARACK OBAMA SPEAKS TUESDAY, SOMEONE WILL MENTION, MAYBE EVEN ME, THAT HARRIS WAS CALLED AS FAR BACK AS 2009 THE FEMALE OBAMA, A MULTIRACIAL CANDIDATE WHO HAS ENERGIZED VOTERS. THIS IS NOT TO SAY THAT IT WILL BE EASY, THIS CAMPAIGN FOR VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS, OR THAT IT'S ENOUGH TO JUST HAVE APPLAUSE FROM YOUR HOME CROWD. IF SHE RELIES
