Delays At Busy SeaTac Airport On Labor Day Weekend 2024 | Walking Tour From Gate To Baggage Claim ✈️

good evening from seac airport everyone our plane has finally made it to the gate we landed about an hour and a half ago been stuck in the runway here for that long because the gate that we were supposed to use was uh busy and being used by different Airline there are a whole bunch of complications anyway we're finally here in this video I'm going to give you a walking tour for from this airplane uh at this gate to the baggage claim area thank you thanks for your patience all right well welcome to Seattle welcome back to Seattle to myself and my wife and a friend they're behind us somewhere friend two friends and their kid anyway it is currently what time is it oh 5:10 p.m. 82° which is amazing for Seattle uh on this day which is Sunday September 1st all right this is what it looks like here coming out of the plane oh my gosh tons of people there's so many people here on Labor Day weekend this is what it looks like coming from Vegas Las Vegas Nevada to Zac airport someone had commented you know please make a video walking tour video from the gate to baggage claim and so I'm doing exactly that going to walk to baggage claim from here and uh show you what it's like what it looks like feels like I think he walking tour videos can provide some people with a sense of comfort perhaps I know that anxiety is a big thing right now anxiety in America anxiety in Seattle this globally in general there's just a lot of anxiety and so maybe this will put Folks At Ease and help folks to feel that you know it's it's okay it's going to be okay this should be a short walk and as far as I mean since we're already talking about anxiety one other video that I was uh considering making was filming my friends and their kid their young son taking the light rail from here to um the Columbia City Light Rail station and I say that because they've not taken public transportation ever at least the wife and and their son I think and so I was thinking about doing that let me know oh well don't let me know actually I'll see if I'll make that video because we're going to take the light rail home now if you want to see what it's like to take the Link light rail station for the I'm let's keep moving busy day at the airport Labor Day weekend is a super busy weekend I'll share a little bit about our trip to Las Vegas it was super hot there it was over 100° every day but you know each time I go to Vegas it makes me realize that there's a huge difference look at this I mean there's still employees right like the cashier there's one cashier everything is being replaced by automation AI technology that's the future folks more robots less humans anyway it was over 100 degrees every day but it was dry heat different from the heat in places like uh Texas you know we're in Florida and so kind of lost Amanda and hopefully I'll find her again I think it's this way took my eye off her and I'm lost lost and seac is the name of this video where's the sign that says baggage clean huh well this is the main area where you come in when you come in um from TSA when you pass the TSA this is where you would eat and stuff excuse me can you remind me where's baggage claim it's that way right just keep going straight okay thank you I had a feeling that I had a feeling that I took it was a 50/50 gamble um I had a feeling that I should have taken a right so instead of going left unless you want to eat that's where you would go there's a lot of restaurants there uh restaurant particular salties that's a really good place a higher end place so you'll be spending some money there but if you are to stay on task and head to baggage claim take a right don't do what La ocean did actually take a right we'll take you that way don't don't take a right go straight push go this way this what sort of what happens sometimes when you don't stay on task talk about too many things and turn around check on your friend but checking on your friend is a good thing though you should always check on your friend or friends right there's your welcome to Seattle sign there one of many you're going to go [Music] downstairs there's a bakery there and we're going to go downstairs so yes there was an over 1 hour wait we waited in the plane for over an hour because of delays with the gate apparently there are three gates here that Services all the Airlines and the one that we were supposed to used was uh being used by someone else okay I see a Mana to the left there so when you come out here there's a bunch of carousels there there's also a bunch here to the left apparently we're at this Carell here carel number 10 I think so an approximate let's appro took us about 8 minutes to walk here and we're going to wait Hy we're just waiting right huh I think it's going to be a while yeah okay so so I think that it's going to take a while here because when we were on the airplane um the lady who was sitting with Amanda was saying that she was here she was here to meet her daughter and her daughter landed in an hour before her and that was going to take an hour for her to get her [Music] baggage because it's just really busy at the airport Labor Day weekend is a very busy week weekend I think tomorrow is Monday uh tomorrow is actually Labor Day so tomorrow's going to get even more busy so plan accordingly I know that I made a video before I headed out to Vegas you
