The Lloydminster Xtreme have made it to the provincial tournament for the third year in a row

after a very exciting Series against the silven lake yetis the extreme punched their ticket to the Provincial Championship for the third straight year it's no easy task you know and you know even though we finished second in the league uh you know s Lake came up here and they gave us a hell of a hell of a series and um it's just a testament to how good this league really is at the top I'm excited for provincials again last year we weren't last year third place it was a big win but this year we're going for that first the extreme have fallen just short of the gold medal in the past two seasons grabbing a bronze and silver in their previous trips to the tournament but with their strong core alongside some new players the team is poised to take home the gold it's our resilience um we go into periods going being down one two three goals and we come out on top this just shows our character and how much of a dogs we are i' just say speed I think this is probably the fastest I've seen our team play like I've never seen us run the ball up the court so fast and with so much intensity so I'd go with that not definitely going to help us take it the next level the extremes first matchup of the provincials will be their Regional Ral the lak land heat who they plan to shut down offensively to start off the weekend with a win I just need to have some lock down D and score more goals our last match up we didn't score enough and they took it away shut down their big guns and just get on them early like just get as many shots as possible test out their goalie find their weaknesses and we're going to we played them many times they played us we know each other there it's just a going to be a battle Thomas Wildman Prime Time local news
