Zach's growing back his hair I was like he's taking something something's going on I was like wow look at me it's coming in it's coming in not not actually not really it's not really coming back that much but it's there I do have hair I'm not bald what's going on in our lives you know I want to start with a topic you want to start with the topic yeah I always want to start with a topic um I have a this weekend which will be last week weekend when this airs we're going to AC yeah we're going to play golf in Long Island with Golf Digest oh man that that's going to be fun I played so well yesterday and I only shot an 85 and I understand that's good for people I got a nine on a par five on whole 14 kt that's not good murdered my round I was playing really good like to start off and then I was with people that don't play so it was like getting very like messy with everything I was two over through four that's good it was great you know where I got really excited is that I took like 3 weeks off I haven't played in like 3 weeks you come back with like a fresh mind you're not thinking about anything not overthinking and I was just puring the ball it felt great well we got a big weekend coming up that's two rounds this weekend yeah Thursday and then at the bachelor party um mulles I'm driving that green five wood cutting it around the trees hold number 15 or 16 okay in Atlantic City that's where we'll be all right that we don't really have many updates go follow makeshift Hoops that's our new channel yes it is I'm going to start you off with with a little game like genius all right well there goes that I'm just a genius um I I want to talk about the makeshift project okay how do we get so many HOW DID WE GET SO MANY FOLLOWERS? followers on this account no idea so I want to give a little background for people okay we've never really talk about this often I mean I think it's consistency it's definitely consistency but I want to give the background so where did we work before this where did you work before this I worked at a financial services company called dtcc so excited yeah I was in corporate Communications then moved into product management all right all right all right um and then I worked for the New York Giants and for overtime Sports much more in the realm of what we're currently doing literally the same exact thing pretty much but I had a creative spin on myself you know I had that little inkling inside of me it's there it's there it's there we started this channel during Co yeah um we bought that sign behind you maybe we'll take a picture of it Zach joined in we did it together uh we posted one time a day to start then it went to two times a day three times a day four times a day five times a day and now our full-time WE Post six times a day on short form or we strive to at least and one full length podcast a week at least yeah no it's a lot I want to up those numbers too the podcast specifically I think if we get there we'll get there yeah we'll get there but um cuz everybody comments on the videos and they're like we want more every Thursday is not enough yeah maybe we'll do two days a week I'm like this is hard this is a lot of editing and a lot of stuff but if we do we outour I don't know we'll figure stuff out where do we see the makeshift project going where do we see it going I just feel like these are frequently asked questions and we never answer them oh so we're answering for the people yeah this is my fre FAQ um I think the makeshift project goes and we have the main channel the makeshift project at the top like a SP we have makeshift Hoops here and then we're going to segment into different areas of our own interest act as Talent on those channels basically yes while some of our closest friends or people that we really resonate with build those sub channels and the one thing you got to do within that is just the same thing we did be consistent um increase quality as you go along yeah um and we're kind of working with our buddy Mike who's running makeshift tubes go follow that account um almost set a thousand followers on Tik Tok might already be and YouTube and YouTube is also kicking which is crazy no it's great um yeah we're going to start makeshift golf in the future we're going to start makeshift I don't know food gambling I don't know what we're going to start I don't know how like if I could devote like 120 hours a week to this I would you if I could I know I can but if you really wanted to you could it's tough It's I don't want to no no but if it if my life were just okay go play around of golf film content here someone else films it oh go play uh baseball go play basketball like if my life were that I think I'd be content and happy cuz without doing all the actual production side of things we can do that we have built up a safety net of money that we can spend on that stuff now so it's like I don't know who who knows where it goes I think it's going to be a mini type of bar stool thing not I don't want to be like bar stool but I want to make our own makeshift thing yeah I don't want to get too big no I don't want to get too big I want to keep it homegrown and keep it like maybe like five six channels that'd be ideal and if we were just the managers and like touched a little bit of everything but not editing not answering emails really yeah so that's where we think we're going to go um and that was kind of the vision from the start yeah I think when we when we said we're like oh yeah we want to be bar stool but I don't think we want to be bar stool I think we want to be that kind of Lifestyle brand similar type content videos across all channels niches that like the unwell Network like the unwell Network that's exactly it look at us look what we fig call backs call backs um yeah and then the advice to give to people starting podcast or trying to gain a following is literally just be consistent if you post every single day you'll gain a following yeah that's what I tell everybody yeah and just you just have to be like at least a little bit entertaining and get better with every video and get better with every video that's all you got to do that's all you got to do ah nice um I had an interesting interesting one I'm just going to bring it up and just going to go for it bring is it my turn I think it's my yeah my friend Tommy texted me this and I had a really tough time answering it rank the amount of standard drinks you've had in your life by type RANK YOUR STANDARD DRINKS BY TYPE! okay beer you have to go by Brand liquor you have to go by type of alcohol what do you think you've had the most at the top rank the top 10 in your life I could help you out with kind of where I'm at so it's like one cocktail is one drink and one shot is one drink yeah like like whiskey would be one drink but then Miller Light versus Bud Light is going to be different I think that vodka would be number one that's what I have for my number one brettes specifically definitely not brettes that's all I drank in college you have to go by brand with alcohol yes liquor you have to go buy brand I think I've had a lot no no no sorry no you don't just type of Y I lied to you I think I've had the most vodka because the beer I tend to Branch off sometimes I do stick to Miller Light and I think that would be my second yeah it's either Miller Light or Yingling is going to be my second most amount of alcoholic drinks Yingling is a crazy one to be your number two I love Yingling but um yeah I think it's it's definitely vodka's number one because that's my thing when I go out to the bars usually like when I was younger but have you had more beer than vodka in your life I've definitely had more beer but not the same brand gotcha okay vodka's one yeah I think Miller Light would be two probably okay I put natural light at two oh Jesus I'm just thinking of college like that's where I did like a majority of my drinking yeah but we've been out of it for I know but I think I think post College I did a lot of vodka yeah no I think vodka is number one for me it was more like setting vodka light I think that Yingling would probably be three and then maybe like are you going to dip into here it would probably be like a white claw H white claw oh yeah you think so I think a white claw would be up there like when there was when there was seltzers just coming out I feel like I drank a ton of white claws okay so you think that's four that's four yeah okay and then we we'll do the top five we'll cap maybe I think maybe I'm leaning towards tequila I don't really drink tequila often tequila might be whiskey yeah it's it's either whiskey or a typ a beer that I don't know which one it is yeah it's definitely not Guinness that's more of a recent thing oh it might be just Bud Light I didn't include Guinness on my list yeah mine just might be Bud Light Bud Light um I did a top 10 I listed my entire 10 yeah I heard a couple of them already but vodka Bernette specifically as one natural light as two Miller S three whiskey as four tequil as five I want to say Bud Light six yeah I put Keystone seven all the kegs in college were Keystone and then I guess I would put Guinness after that then Budweiser and then rum I think that they're pretty similar I just want my stats can we just get the stats I want the stat can't have the stats unless like God's up there and when you die you get I bet you he's counting might be of course he is definitely might be he needs some entertainment no that's a pretty interesting list I thought you meant like in general drinks cuz chocolate milk would be number one for me by far maybe we'll that next maybe water yeah probably water and then it would be chocolate hear them yeah why not well Cristiano Ronaldo passed Mr Beast WILL RONALDO BEAT MRBEAST? as the most subscribed YouTube channel do you know the background of this I know well he just started a YouTube channel and he gained whatever amount of followers so I had the stats for it he just started it August 21st that's 14 days ago as of this recording okay I'm going to give you stats as of today 14 days ago he started the channel he has 56.2 million subscribers which is insane in two weeks that is insane that comes that comes out to about 4 million subscribers per day okay that's crazy I don't know how that's even possible I feel like the app would break Mr Beast has 313 million subscribers okay but he started the account in 2012 but it's different right I mean you look at the growth of Mr Beast recently it's probably a lot higher than it was when he started it is different I don't think he's gaining 4 million a day though no but I also think Ronaldo caps off at some point I don't think he's going to C we're going to get into it if Mr B stayed at 313 million subscribers it would take Cristiano Ronaldo 64 days to get the 313 million okay that's not going to happen though you never know Zach so if he keeps the pace up Mr Beast has 60.6 million followers on Instagram do you know how much romaldo has yeah no he's got a ton 638 million that's double Mr Beast subscriber account so maybe he will so if you just posted on a story go subscribed to my YouTube channel and got a quarter of them he would be very close to Mr Beast okay so maybe he does Chang my mind well yeah you know what it's a race it's a race now I don't I think people like Ronaldo better than they like Mr Beast but if Ronaldo's not posting like what content is he posting has he posted anything yeah he post some stuff he had like je it's very International which is the good thing because he gets people from all over he had one where like people from Georgia rate his fits or something and then he did like a this or that from like like what we used to do so it's like LeBron saw I actually saw that yeah it's like it's like simple stuff that's has a big production behind it I feel like we I wish we just ran his channel yeah we would do amazing great forget the podcast let's just go run Ronaldo's channels I'd rather just have my own no I would agree I would feel really bad for Mr Beast I wouldn't if he got caught if you get caught by Ronaldo I feel like that's that's almost a compliment that yeah but it's Mr beat's platform he puts so much effort into it matter coming in two months he's going to have the both subscrib to channel Mr Beast knows that his content is arguably the best on the platform Ronaldo's not going to surpass him in that so I think that's all he cares about is creating killer content if he's number two he's not going to care so much it's only going to fuel him more to be beaten by and they're going to collab on YouTube and then there everything's going to blow up the whole platform's just going to explod blow up and then we're going to be sitting we're not going to have YouTube maybe that's what if L Messi started a YouTube account I don't think it's as big as Ronaldo really no I think he's more famous more famous but I don't think you convert I don't think it converts like that I don't know if he is more famous I think he is I don't think he has more followers on Instagram because Ronald is way more active on Instagram let's check I think across platforms don't look it up why cuz I have something for you later 55 million okay it's less than so Taboo it's people disagree on things it's like the two sides it's like a war we disagree about a lot of things and we're still friends yeah we are people don't understand perspective I don't understand people why are you getting so angry at somebody for liking Trump or likeing Kamala Harris I think it's the dumbest thing in the world yeah I have a lot no I'm just saying I have a lot of friends that are Democrats I have a lot of friends that are Republicans why would why do I care about their political views to be friends with them I think part of it is the the polarizing figures now rather than like 20 years ago when you had like Obama versus like Mitt Romney it's like way different and much more civil instead you have it's more of like a boxing match now where it's also social media yeah and people are throwing Haymakers just to try and you know gain a following and I agree but do you agree you should you should be friends with somebody for how their personality not for their politic views I've told and said this to so many people whenever they ask my political views I say I'm the most neutral person ever I I'm one of those people that I I don't care about your perspective like no that's the wrong way to say I don't care about what you think I care about your perspective but I'm I'm not going to provide anything if I'm not educated on it so if I don't have an opinion either way in the sense like okay I believe in something's here something's there but I'm not going to like make it my personality and I don't understand that I don't understand it at all you're never going to speak to these people you're never going to be friends with Donald Trump probably you're never going to be friends with Kamala Harris probably yeah I just want our country to be successful that's all I care about I just want to I want to feel safe I just want to be able to afford an apartment that's all I want football season's back the Giants stink yeah they are so bad BET
