RELEASED. THAT'S RIGHT GUYS, THERE WERE DOZENS OF OFFICERS HERE WHO WAITED 30 MINUTES IN THE RAIN TO JUST GREET OFFICER SEKIHAN AND WISH HIM A SPEEDY RECOVERY. THE SENSE OF COMMUNITY HERE WAS JUST VERY STRONG, AND SOME FOLKS EVEN GOT A BIT EMOTIONAL. WE WATCHED OFFICER SEKIHAN BEING ROLLED OUT IN A WHEELCHAIR, BUT THEN HE EVENTUALLY USED A WALKER TO TAKE THE FINAL STEPS TO HIS CAR WITH HIS FAMILY. LAW ENFORCEMENT FROM LONDONDERRY, LACONIA, MERRIMACK, CONCORD AND MORE SHOWED UP TODAY IN FULL FORCE TO GIVE THEIR SUPPORT. WE KNOW SEKIHAN HAD SURGERY ON FRIDAY AFTER GETTING A SERIOUS LEG INJURY ON THURSDAY NIGHT. POLICE SAY HE WAS DELIBERATELY HIT BY A CAR IN LACONIA, DRIVEN BY 38 YEAR OLD JUSTIN SPARCO. HE WAIVED HIS ARRAIGNMENT IN COURT ON FRIDAY. LACONIA POLICE CHIEF CANFIELD TALKED TO US TODAY ABOUT WHAT IT MEANT TO BE HERE FOR THE LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY TO TO COME TOGETHER IN THAT SHOW OFW OF SUT IN THAT SHOW OF SOLIDARITY, TO SUPPORT HIM.
