Minnesota State Fair: A Glimpse into the Lives of Vendors and Attendees

cheese I went to the state fair there was a long line nobody oh what could it be it's some food you're from Kenya okay and Kenya I'm from Liberia where the state fair right now where the international fried pickles and a couple beers what are you doing at the international Bazaar ah we're getting ready for some bow some who my son to the union kitchen we're about to have a big old ball oh it's the information group that teaches and trains people how to grow crates okay okay let's go get some wine on the stick let's go have a good one all right yes well we're doing our flight of beer right now Fair we're doing a lot of promotion a lot of Outreach so we have a few different groups here so we have our Minnesota growing Group which is right behind you we have different Farmers coming in every day and volunteering their time to promote their products that are grown in Minnesota I have an emerging farmer section which talk about Farmers that definitely or might not always have the opportunities others may have working to highlight our farm to Ford path which is just showing the different paths from Farm to Fort including the inspections and all the roles of the Department of agricultural place and then also the section behind us which is Minnesota egg in the classroom which does a lot of Outreach getting agricultural in classrooms we're here at the station Faith oh Sweet Martha's Cookies [Music] I can't wait for some food best thing you want the jerk chicken okay I'll do the jerk chicken but there's no pork in there right okay I'll do that how spicy like you want to fried man yeah what about you uh I just have the jerk chicken at the uh Caribbean it's like Caribbean food yeah okay I just got here that's not good so I'm just trying to get to the goal all right see okay close enough right I was it's good to judge you know judging at the fan if they just the animals right and they just uh I saw some uh fruits and stuff over there might as well adjust the people there should be a people judging Booth too that's what I did that's the smart thing to do you don't be driving around here looking for parking yeah and it gets scary at night time man here no I'm just overwhelming yeah yeah it's a lot of people yeah and the thing that you hear about Minnesota where it's like it's cold you gotta wait but it's warm right now right there's not a lot of black people you see a lot of Blackness yeah we appreciate that so what else you got planned for the birthday oh well today we're gonna we're gonna hang around here all day we're going to the concert later on to space okay so you can sauna from it you can eat from it or you can sleep from it oh yeah so pretty much most of our stuff is all going to be inflatable okay it's right behind you with the white trim are going to be our fiberglass board hold up these are inflatable they are wow yeah I was hot and then you fold them just like that yep then they're gonna go right in the bag there you know I love the Rice Minnesota is proud to be the first producer of it oh cultivator wow I would come back I'm gonna try some wild rice what's your excuse to not get one of these or two of them I know right that is so easy it's complicated we've got a website we do so we're at paddle North so paddle north.com you'd be able to check us out there we have a lot of fun small good stuff but the biggest stuff is going to be our inflatable paddle board and then we have these guys they're swim platforms also inflatable okay and those are uh Inflatables as well they are so what do you you guys carry the pump as well for them yep so if you buy one of The Kayaks or the paddle boards you're gonna get the whole kit with it so it's gonna be the backpack the pump the board yeah you don't want to be using it without food yeah just start during the Spring and end up in the wintertime and let me register real quick trying to give me some free something I wish you guys had a river here with a demo that I could try it oh yeah oh nice oh we were told by the sauna man to come over here and talk to you okay so the benches are convertible okay yeah you don't have to sleep on your couch no more if your wife kick you out the house yeah this is a better place yeah it is yeah very good I'll be doing stuff to get kicked out the house on purpose exactly you weren't yeah awesome these are good people yeah yeah yeah definitely good people so what what what's the what is it called riffs it's riffs it's make it on the go so it's a fully smoked piece of bacon oh wow packaged so it's already cooked all you have to do is heat it and eat it like you have no excuse like no don't say I don't have storage you got an apartment you can slip that underneath your bed we're good yeah and what's this what's a holder for this let's go for fishing so if you have like oh like a fishing pole and that's what okay all right nice you got something for no I'm just joking look at this look at that so it's a very good sauna though so they can get hot in Minnesota winters okay they work great in the summer you get a solar lift so they're actually energy efficient wow and you're closer to Nature because you can see out it's basically one big window oh and these are the things that you could you could be like Jesus and walk on water a health cell company put it on the wheel and take it everywhere yeah that so this is Highway rated we actually delivered one to Austin Texas two weeks ago and we got some hot here that we're selling the phones okay but you can have it in your cabinet and have hot bacon in five seconds at home anytime you're at the fair come check out riffs this is so easy it's almost like a SLI a Slim Jim or a beef jerky but for bacon so these trailered ones they start at 11 grams oh wow so you have a fully functioning portal portable sauna yeah for 11 Grand and you can use it as a business too and charge people twenty dollars to get up in there for two minutes or something like that wow the going rate for what's on the bench is about 30 to 45 bucks per session yeah I'm gonna need to talk to you I'm about to start a new business Patrick I'm gonna highlight Urban wing and uh I quit [Music]
