[Music] there's the BOS once's again with the BOS everywhere you go all you hear is Brian Bosworth Bosworth got his lick it and he said something to lway again another BOS haird I like his intensity one of the great self promoters of all time Brian Bosworth was the NFL's first oneman brand a legend in his own mind already Brian Bosworth I'll tell you it's interesting to me that a young rookie and have that impact on the game the linebacker invented a boss Persona worth millions it was one heck of a ride that ended far too soon you know Payton you promised you'd keep this low profile I sure did this is a stretch limo though Brian I mean anything less would be uncivilized now you want to start quoting commercials how do it Go Again Omaha Omaha snap me the chips that's not the line certainly not the delivery are you sure this is a a good idea Denver's never really rolled out the red carpet for me I mean you did say the entire city was oxygen deprived yeah I did not a popular figure is the just I just want one chance to take a shot at laway all he's really doing is getting people fired up which is going to work to our advantage he thinks I'm going to be afraid of him he's crazy of time for La called out John Elway called him horseface I just made the the obvious statements that you know when he smiled he looked like Mr Ed to me it was just the BOS being the B right the B number 55 boy he just about took Elway's helmet off they were selling these t-shirts outside the park lot Broncos fans were buying these they were buying them up they're eating them up I don't care if you're in Seattle or Denver they're hot hot items BOS Busters the land of BZ no BOS they got that one here this young man must have learned something about PR in his time atah I think that he was a business major Brian was a business major all those shirts capitalizing on the B's uproar they were manufactured by 44 Blues a company owned by Brian Bosworth so your company made these shirts yeah they didn't see the little disclaimer on the bottom at least my trademark again that oxygen priv thing maybe not making at Oklahoma Brian was a two-time All-American and one of the greatest linebackers in college football history as one coach says Bosworth is out there head hunting and he finds a lot of heads his defining moment was another t-shirt this one mocking the the NCAA after he was suspended for failing a drug test in his wisdom Brian Borth the suspended linebacker had this t-shirt made up the T-shirt you wore in the Orange Bowl what did it say again National communist against athletes welcome to Russia how much credit do you take for the collapse of the USSR I should get 100% 100% ma they chanted down with the wall and down it came it was the right message wrong platform I should not have done that where I did it at least I started the conversation I mean you were labeled a renegade for criticizing the NCAA seems like you were just ahead of your time he held out until the Seahawks gave him a record $1 million contract the NFL hadn't seen anything like the B before red gra and Joe namoth were Onan brands for sure if Beauty Mist can make my legs look good imagine what they'll do for yours but Brian was the first to Brand himself with a manufactured Persona Who's That B at age8 what happened 19 to 23 here you started out as Brian Bosworth a football player but where did the BOS come from I think everybody's got an old for ego you just have to have a platform to let it come out this game is entertainment the line M is very important it's something I drivve and and I need it's like the energizing that plugs into my back oh boy did Bill Kenny take a shot in the chest by Brian Bosworth look at K he just bounce off him it's like hitting a car cuz you switch it back and forth like Salone and over the top when he flipped the hat on backwards became like a truck yeah actually it became kind of this it's almost like a drug when I got out there it just kind of grew and grew the BOS ego took over Brian and told Brian to sit in the back seat while the BOS is driving this car the hair do apparently cost him about $50 to $70 a week the B freshly qued is that a hair cut or a brand a boss haircut is it a mullet what is it I know people like to use the word mullet mullet to me it sounds dirty correct B seems sophisticated well do you think coach Lombardi could have handled him he'd have Gone Bananas over the colored haircut he may have clipped some of that hair himself true or false you pierced your own ear that is true you know a shot of tequila and then just stick it in just bite and barar it get infected all good after that little bit no pain no gain absolutely in your book you criticize NFL officials with hokey wolf breath for being too old to keep up with the players and make the correct calls I think there should be a fitness test that referees should have to pass they should run at least a sub 5sec 40 40 you used to be able to move you really can't move now or leave okay and they should brush their teeth before every single game because sometimes it does come off a little B going attest to that I got some advice for y'all take two weeks off then quit you were compared to Dick buckus a lot what did you love about playing linebacker it was the running and the hidden there was not the same kind of protection that was provided to players today so we targeted that was the way we were taught as [Music] kids I didn't like the offensive side because I felt like it's too controlled the defensive side is just sheer chaos the boss Seattle's lead conductor of chaos Bosworth has to call the defensive signals for these Seahawk you know he's a rookie he was second on the team in tackles third in sacks and was named all rookie I think he's one of the most instinctive lbers in football to me I was a football player and I just loved playing football and I played it with such a reckless abandonment pton Bosworth got to him for the tackle and I'm watching the highlights you're all over the place made 17 tackles in a game Ryan BOS worth on the stop Brian Bosworth Brian Bosworth it's a good read by buz 17 tackles in a playoff game actually when you take away the blue sunglasses and the peroxided hair and the outrageous statements this kid can play football but no matter how well Brian played he couldn't live up to the B height and all that came with being Public Enemy Number One it takes an unusual player to draw this amount of Applause for falling on your back B work play with his jersey like that hey how could B words play with his jersey cut off like that if you believe the legend the bubble popped in one of the most memorable moments in Monday night [Applause] [Music] history the boses Showdown against Bo Jackson I remember calling him out that was kind of what my job was as a linebacker got to call out the the star on the other side of the team oh Jackson I've seen him on tape but when you see him on the field that's a different animal and only one man to beat and easily can't run him down he had the angle but there goes B touchdown he may not stop the Tacoma when he broke that 91 ydd touchdown I go this dude is pulling away I'm going to at least Sprint past coach Knox because he can't tell me that I dogged it oh he was flying the play on the goal line everybody makes this big deal about it third and one from the two here's B and here goes B for the T down he and Bosworth oneon-one my job was to get my head on the other side my job was to drive him to the pylon and take him out and I didn't do that watch the B he plays it perfectly flows to the football meets Bo Jackson at a two sorry that's kind of awesome BOS looking out there did you get the number of that truck if that's second and 10 on the 50 yard line it's third and six it's not like the BOS is the only NFL star to wind up with Bose treadmarks on his jersey I looked at Dan Dan looked at me and said hey this guy is different I don't know it might be better to get blocked than have to try to tackle this guy your doctor said you had 60-year-old shoulders and I didn't get hurt until the last game of my rookie year didn't know the severity of the injury once the injury happened it never went away that pain was always there and when you're a linebacker if your bumpers hurt yeah I mean you're feeling it every day yeah right watch number 55 the boss grab some air there I can see it slowly deteriorating but I couldn't do anything about it and that's that was what was so mentally frustrating for me Bosworth leaving the field here with an arm injury going to go to the trainer or the equipment man and have a little something looked at after just 25 games his football career was over Brian went on to make 17 movies I think the role that makes me feel most emotional was Revelation road because that changed my life I felt like I was on this journey alone when this movie came into my life it gave me not only a message but a platform that not everybody is alone that got me wondering the BOS marketed himself so well how would he Market me I really want to boss up my brand Omaha Productions need to kind of
