NASCAR Xfinity's Austin Hill wakes up a winner, race action continues in Cup Playoffs Sunday

[Music] NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Austin Hill is waking up with plenty of peaches and some new hardware this morning after winning his third race of the Season Saturday fourth in six starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway since its reconfiguration it has a ton of meaning to me I mean ever since I was a little kid I raced around this little quarter mile racetrack ran band's Legend cars here and always wished you know dreamed one day to run on the big track and didn't think it was going to ever happen then it happened and then now we are here we are with four wins here at this racetrack uh it is so special meanwhile Cup Series qualifying locked in the lineup for the field of 38 drivers it's a shake up to start the postseason here in Atlanta Michael McDow a dri who is not in the playoff picture gets the poll Saturday ahead of the Quaker State 400 I'm proud of the speed that we're bringing to the racetrack on the flip side it's a little bit of a a gut check too because we haven't got the Victory Lane and we've had decent amount of speed um but it's hard it's hard winning races in the cup series and McDow will lead the field to Green for the fifth time this year tied with points leader Kyle lson with most polls on the season trouble and qualifying lands Den Hamlin at the back of the field handing the 11 car a challenging task as he continues working toward his first Cup Series championship the last time they raced in Atlanta was in February when race with multiple wrecks ended with a three- wide finish I'm not 100% sure how I feel about having super speedway in the uh playoffs on one hand I know it's a very exciting race and this would be an exciting race whether it's in the playoffs or not can race with anything on your mind at a place like this um CU I think a lot of times if you aren't you're trying to race hard and be up front you get caught up in the racks you just take it one race at a time and control each lap like the best that you can and um the really the only thing you can do on our side like at places like this is like just everybody do your job and execute no mistakes the green flag drops on playoff action with the Quaker State 400 to today at 300 p.m. Eastern reporting from Atlanta Motor Speedway I'm Kelsey odonnell
