Were disappointed tonight ciki thank you very much for joining us you thought to come back tonight but came up just short what did you make of it out there um to be honest it was disappointing um we started the second round a bit you know slow and that's what gave them the goals we got back into it but then unfortunately um we ended up losing the game it was a great response after going three goals behind but did you always have that belief that you could get back into the game yeah we did even though it was 3-0 uh um I thought we could get back in the game and we did and then the last go the last goal killed us um but uh yeah despite the fight back did you leave yourselves a little bit too much to do tonight yeah of course um when you go 3-0 down it's it's always going to be difficult and we don't well actually to get back in the game at that point um but then obviously with the fourth qut we just kills the game later on um that was it done and Did you have to be disappointed from a defensive perspective do you have to be quite disappointed with those three goals in such quick quick um succession yeah of course um you know obviously we want to score as many goals but you can't concede that many um unless you score more than them considering that many you're going to probably lose a game as for the first half you were quite on top had a good few chances were you disappointed not to be ahead going into the break yeah we did have a few chances um we weren't clinical um but then we sorted that out in the second half um so it was much better going forward in the second half but then obviously um we ended up losing the game on a personal note you're back How pleased are you with your performances in the starting 11 two more goals tonight how pleased are you with your performances recently yeah um I'm happy um of course but um uh really wanted to win toight you forced Blackburn into a lot of turnovers high up the pitch today is that something you're working really hard on uh yeah it is um because the higher we can win the ball up um we can score more goals and you can see that we cre create more chances by pressing higher um so then we can win the ball back in score goals back at St Andrews How good of a chance is that to get back to winning ways on Saturday against rotheram how good of a chance is that to get back to winning ways yeah uh the good thing about this league is that there's so many games and there's always another opportunity to to put things uh you know right um or a better result so we're looking forward to that one just finally a word on the fans a long travel for them tonight on a bitterly cold midweek game but they stayed behind you the whole way they've been amazing to be honest um I've got nothing but you know praise to say about them came a long way and they supported us all the way to the end they've been fantastic Ry thank you very much thank you
